Shortly after 10:30pm, hours after the polls closed on Tuesday and he was declared the winner of the New Hampshire primary via a write-in campaign, President Joe Biden released a statement.

“It is now clear that Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee. And my message to the country is the stakes could not be higher. Our Democracy. Our personal freedoms — from the right to choose to the right to vote. Our economy — which has seen the strongest recovery in the world since COVID. All are at stake,” Biden’s statement began, also touching upon Trump’s primary win in the state as he went up against former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.

“I want to thank all those who wrote my name in this evening in New Hampshire. It was a historic demonstration of commitment to our democratic process. And I want to say to all those Independents and Republicans who share our commitment to core values of our nation — our Democracy, our personal freedoms, an economy that gives everyone a fair shot — to join us as Americans,” the statement continued, touching upon the president’s own win.

Chuck Schumer called for an investigation into the tobacco product Zyn on Sunday after claiming the product is being marketed toward teens. Many congressmen and women, including Marjorie Taylor Greene and Thom Tillis, have posted on Twitter calling out Schumer for his stance on Zyn.

Various government officials have alleged that Schumer has more concern with the tobacco product than securing the southern border and fentanyl harming teens.

Biden’s DHS Demands Texas Authorities Stand Down at Southern Border as Legal Battle Intensifies

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) urged Texas authorities in a letter Tuesday to relinquish their control of an area of the southern border that has been the epicenter of an ongoing legal battle.

DHS is demanding that the state allow Border Patrol full access to Shelby Park in Eagle Pass, Texas, in accordance with the law as the state maintains that it’s not backing down from its position, according a copy of the letter obtained by the Daily Caller News Foundation. The Supreme Court ruled Monday that the Biden administration can take down the concertina wire Texas authorities erected to discourage illegal border crossings, but the next day the state began erecting more border wire.

The Biden administration on Jan. 12 accused Texas of blocking border agents from helping save three drowning migrants in the Rio Grande, which the Department of Justice (DOJ) later debunked in court filing admitting that federal authorities didn’t inform state authorities until after the drownings had already occurred.

The Biden administration subsequently sent a letter to Attorney General Ken Paxton on Jan. 14, saying that the state needed to give full access of the park to federal authorities by Jan. 17, according to CNN. By Jan. 17, Paxton sent a letter to the Biden administration, saying that the state wouldn’t back down.

“As you are aware, yesterday, the Supreme Court vacated the injunction prohibiting the Department from cutting or moving the concertina wire that Texas had placed along the border except in case of emergency, and restored the Department’s right to cut and move the concertina wire placed by Texas in order to perform their statutory duties. The Department must also have the ability to access the border in the Shelby Park area that is currently obstructed by Texas,” Department of Homeland Security Jonathan E. Meyer wrote to Paxton. Moana Bikini is facing a backlash after using a man to model and promote a racy women’s swimsuit.

The company, owned by Australian “body positive influencer” Karina Irby, posted on its Instagram account a video of male model Jake Young wearing a very revealing “SUGAR SLINKY” one-piece, the New York Post reported. The brand markets itself as “swimwear designed for every BODY!”

Social media users commented on the post and said they were done being customers after seeing the ad.

“Is that a man? I thought you were about empowering women?” one account posted. “Men seem to be trying to take over everything women hold sacred. Our safe spaces, our identity and now our fashion.”

“I’m sorry you support whatever you like but I don’t agree with men in women’s swimsuits and trying to market it towards women,” the account added. “I’ve been a loyal customer for ten years but I’m done.”

Court Finds Justin Trudeau’s Use of Counter-Terrorism Law Against Freedom Convoy Unconstitutional

A Canadian Federal Court Judge found Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s use of a counter-terrorism law to shut down the Freedom Convoy trucker protests against vaccine mandates and other lockdown measures in 2022 unconstitutional.

Federal Court Justice Richard Mosley ruled that the use of the Emergencies Act by the Liberal government of Justin Trudeau to shut down a series of trucker-led protests in February of 2022 was “unreasonable”, CBC reports.

The ruling came in response to a legal case brought forward by the Canadian Civil Liberties Association, the Canadian Constitution Foundation, and other individuals who argued that the protests did not meet the legal threshold for the government to use the powers granted under the act, which had never been used and was originally intended as a means of combatting terrorists.

The protests, which began in January of 2022, were almost entirely peaceful and featured truckers using their vehicles to block roads in Ottawa and along the U.S. border in opposition to vaccine mandates and other lockdown diktats, for which they were falsely branded as “racists” by the Trudeau government.

The triggering of the Emergencies Act by Trudeau — reportedly at the urging of the Biden administration in the United States — allowed the government to arrest the leaders of the Freedom Convoy, freeze bank accounts of protesters, and seise donations intended for the protest.
