Foreign-Born Mayor Can Literally Barely Speak English

Lawrence, Massachusetts, Mayor Brian De Peña — a Dominican Republic native — requested a Spanish interpreter during a Friday hearing tied to a state police-oversight case, according to The Daily Wire.

The episode lit up social media and renewed questions about how a big-city mayor functions in government and legal settings when he says he needs translation help, the Wire reported. The interpreter flap also landed as De Peña is already feuding with Massachusetts’ top elections office after the state flooded Lawrence polling sites with monitors and police, according to NBC Boston.

“Today, I received many complaints, and I see many people, you know, not happy because the state interferes when the people need somebody for support,” De Peña said during the city’s Nov. 4 election, NBC Boston reported.

The interpreter request surfaced in a Massachusetts Peace Officer Standards and Training Commission proceeding listed as a “Hearing in the Matter of William Castro,” a multi-day case scheduled in December. The Daily Wire reported De Peña asked to use his personal assistant as a translator, and the presiding judge rejected that request. DOJ Releases Shocking Fake Video of Jeffrey Epstein Suicide as Part of File Dump

By New York Post. The DOJ on Monday released shocking footage that appeared to be a recreation of Jeffrey Epstein’s suicide in his Manhattan jail cell — and it briefly set the Internet on fire until it was revealed to be fake.

The video was posted without explanation to the Justice Department’s website as part of its Epstein file dump — with the footage just the latest item among a trove of documents and images to be revealed after the complete horde was ordered released in November.

The grainy, 12-second, computer-generated clip showed a white-haired man in an orange jumpsuit struggling and jerking his head about while kneeling at the base of a jail-cell bunk bed.

But a closer examination of the clip showed things were not quite right – with a pile of orange prison clothes strewn about the ground looking like puddles without any texture, and the door to the jail cell not matching the one in Epstein’s behind-bars compartment. AG Pam Bondi threatened with fines for ‘coverup’ of ‘dozens’ of Epstein FBI witness docs — ‘back up plan’ in works

By New York Post. The congressmen who forced the Justice Department to release files on notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein say Attorney General Pam Bondi is protecting powerful men by heavily redacting records — and are threatening to fine her $5,000 per day for contempt of Congress, with a “backup plan” if that doesn’t work.

Bondi is seeking to head off the mounting outcry over missing Epstein files by pledging to investigate and prosecute any credibly accused perpetrator, though skeptics claim victims already have laid out chargeable claims to investigators in “dozens” of unpublished FBI interview memos.

“This is where the survivors have named other men who either raped them or visited Epstein’s rape island or covered up the abuse,” said Rep. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.), sponsor of the Epstein Files Transparency Act.

“What the American people want to know [is]: Who are these other powerful financiers [and] powerful politicians who trafficked these women, or abused these women as girls or covered it up?” Khanna told The Post in an interview

“That is in those witness interviews, the FBI interview memorandum. They have not released a single one.” (Read more from “AG Pam Bondi threatened with fines for ‘coverup’ of ‘dozens’ of Epstein FBI witness docs — ‘back up plan’ in works” HERE)

More than a dozen newly-released Jeffrey Epstein files vanished from Justice Department website

By New York Post. More than a dozen files tied to notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein mysteriously vanished from the Justice Department’s website just one day after the agency released the massive, long-awaited trove of documents and photos to the public, according to reports.

At least 16 files — among thousands available Friday — were taken down with no explanation from the government, leading to criticism from Democrats on Capitol Hill.

The missing docs included images of nude female paintings — and according to the Dems, a picture of a desk that had numerous framed photos on it and some photos piled in an open drawer.

The images that could be seen on the desk included snaps of former President Bill Clinton, pope Benedict XVI and others.

In the open drawer, a previously released image showing President Trump posing at an event with Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell and First Lady Melania Trump apparently could be seen, according to a social media post about the allegedly missing images by the Democrats on X. They said the image was “file 468.” (Read more from “More than a dozen newly-released Jeffrey Epstein files vanished from Justice Department website” HERE)

Brother Of Trans Woman Who Murdered Parents Blames ‘Reckless’ Prescription Of Sex Change Hormones

A Utah woman received two consecutive sentences of 25 years to life in prison Friday after pleading guilty to murdering her parents, as her brother blamed what he called the reckless prescription of sex-change hormones.

Mia Bailey received two consecutive sentences of 25 years to life for the murders of her parents, Joseph Bailey, 70, and Gail Bailey, 69, according to a news release from the Washington County Attorney’s Office. The court added up to five years for aggravated assault stemming from the same attack.

Prosecutors said Bailey broke into her parents’ Washington City home on June 18, 2024, and shot her father twice in the head and her mother four times. After killing her parents, Bailey fired shots through her brother’s bedroom door while he and his wife barricaded themselves inside, according to prior reporting by KUTV.

Police arrested Bailey the following day and charged her with 11 felony counts tied to the double homicide and the attempted killing of her brother. She later pleaded guilty in November, admitting in court documents that she intentionally shot and killed her parents, The Salt Lake Tribune reported.

Defense attorney Ryan Stout urged the judge to impose concurrent sentences, arguing Bailey had no criminal record and suffered from severe mental illness that left her functioning at the level of a young child. Court records listed diagnoses that included autism, psychosis, schizophrenia, ADHD and OCD, with possible bipolar disorder, The Salt Lake Tribune stated. TPUSA AmericaFest Attendees Reveal Their Least Favorite Trump Official

Young conservatives appear to be rallying around Vice President JD Vance but are much less impressed with Attorney General Pam Bondi, according to a straw poll of individuals who attended Turning Point USA’s AmericaFest.

Nearly 85% of respondents said they would support Vice President JD Vance as the 2028 Republican primary nominee. Bondi, meanwhile, was far and away the least popular of President Donald Trump’s cabinet secretaries among AmericaFest attendees, though more than 60% still approved of her leadership.

Turning Point CEO Erika Kirk said Friday the conservative youth outreach organization would put its organizing infrastructure behind the vice president if he chooses to mount a presidential bid. Her slain husband, Turning Point founder Charlie Kirk was also enthusiastic about seeing Vance succeed Trump before his assassination in September.

“We are going to get my husband’s friend JD Vance elected for 48 in the most resounding way possible,” Mrs. Kirk told thousands of attendees during the first day of the weekend-long event.

Turning Point Action is planning to post representatives in all of Iowa’s 99 counties to support Vance ahead of the 2028 primary, the Wall Street Journal reported. (Read more from “TPUSA AmericaFest Attendees Reveal Their Least Favorite Trump Official” HERE)

Watch Hunter Biden Claim With Straight Face That Laptop From Hell Never Existed

Hunter Biden told podcaster Shawn Ryan in an interview that aired Monday that former Republican Mayor Rudy Giuliani of New York City “concocted” the laptop that was the subject of an October 2020 New York Post report.

Twitter locked multiple accounts, including the New York Post’s and the personal account of then-White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany for sharing the bombshell report about emails from the laptop reportedly abandoned by Biden at a Delaware computer repair shop. During Monday’s episode of “The Shawn Ryan Show,” Biden gave the host an elaborate explanation as to why the laptop was “fabricated.”

“What I can tell you about the laptop is that there is no laptop. That’s bullshit. What was provided out there, what the-” Biden said, with Ryan asking, “There was no f**king laptop?”

“There is an actual physical laptop that somebody had, but the guy that had, that said he had the laptop, the existence of the search for the laptop came before he was even a twinkle in Rudy Giuliani’s eye,” Biden said. “There were people, talk to Lev Parnas. Lev Parnas literally went to Ukraine to get a laptop from Dmytro Firtash, to get a hard drive, Hunter Biden’s hard drive from Dmytro Firtash and Andrii Derkach, in Ukraine, in Austria, four months before John Paul Mac Isaac ever even… existed. And so, what they did is they cobbled together [a] stolen, concocted, fabricated mishmash of digital information, largely, which is, you know, thousands and thousands and thousands of emails… from 25 years. I mean, no laptop could have held all of that.” (Read more from “Watch Hunter Biden Claim With Straight Face That Laptop From Hell Never Existed” HERE)

DHS Offers Illegal Immigrants a $3,000 ‘Holiday Stipend’ for Self-Deportation

The federal government is offering a $3,000 “Holiday Stipend” to encourage illegal immigrants to self-deport over Christmas.

The small expense is far less than the cost of chasing and deporting migrants — and it comes amid growing economic pressure on migrants who are losing jobs and housing amid President Donald Trump’s enforcement of the nation’s popular migration laws.

“During the Christmas Season, the U.S. taxpayer is so generously TRIPLING the incentive to leave voluntarily for those in this country illegally — offering a $3,000 exit bonus, but just until the end of the year,” said Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. “Illegal aliens should take advantage of this gift and self-deport because if they don’t, we will find them, we will arrest them, and they will never return.”

“Since January 2025, 1.9 million illegal aliens have voluntarily self-deported, and tens of thousands have used the CBP Home program,” the agency claimed.

The statement added:

Self-deportation through the CBP Home app is the best gift that an illegal alien can give themselves and their families this holiday season. It’s a fast, free, and easy process: Just download the app, fill out your information, and DHS will take care of the rest — including arranging and paying for your travel back home.

Those illegal aliens who don’t take advantage of this special offer today have only one alternative: They will be arrested, deported, and they will never be able to return to the United States.

U.S. Launches Major Airstrikes on ISIS After Deadly Attack Kills American Troops

The United States carried out large-scale airstrikes against ISIS targets in Syria on Friday, following the killing of two American soldiers and a U.S. interpreter in a terrorist attack last week.

President Donald Trump ordered the strikes after pledging swift retaliation for the deaths of Iowa National Guard Sgt. Edgar Brian Torres-Tovar, 25, Sgt. William Nathaniel Howard, 29, and interpreter Ayad Mansoor Sakat of Michigan.

The three were killed on December 13 while conducting a key leader engagement mission in Palmyra, Syria, as part of ongoing counterterrorism operations.
According to U.S. defense officials, American forces used more than 100 precision-guided munitions to strike over 70 suspected ISIS targets across multiple locations near the ancient city of Palmyra. The operation, named Operation Hawkeye Storm in honor of Iowa — the Hawkeye State — marked one of the most significant U.S. military responses against ISIS in recent months.

War Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed the strikes in a statement posted to social media, describing the mission as a direct response to the attack on U.S. personnel.

“Earlier today, U.S. forces commenced OPERATION HAWKEYE STRIKE in Syria to eliminate ISIS fighters, infrastructure, and weapons sites,” Hegseth wrote. “This is not the beginning of a war — it is a declaration of vengeance.”

Hegseth emphasized that the United States would not hesitate to use lethal force against anyone who targets Americans, warning that those responsible would be hunted down.

President Trump echoed that message in a statement on Truth Social, saying the U.S. was delivering on its promise to retaliate.

“Because of ISIS’s vicious killing of brave American Patriots in Syria, whose beautiful souls I welcomed home to American soil earlier this week, I am hereby announcing that the United States is inflicting very serious retaliation,” Trump wrote.

U.S. Flexes Military Might as Trump Gives Chilling Warning to Venezuela’s Maduro if He Plays ‘Tough’

President Trump on Monday warned Venezuelan dictator Nicolas Maduro against taking military action against the United States, telling reporters from Florida that “if he plays tough, it’ll be the last time he’s ever able to play tough.”

The remark came after Trump was asked why Maduro should take “seriously” Washington’s pressure campaign to force him to leave office after stealing the past two presidential elections in that country and running a narcoterrorist state.

“He could do whatever he wants. We have a massive Armada formed; the biggest we’ve ever had, and by far the biggest we’ve ever had in South America,” Trump said. “He could do whatever he wants. It’s alright, whatever he wants to do.”

It came hours after US Southern Command showed off the efforts of roughly 2,200 Marines training in the Caribbean this month in a series of eye-popping photos on Monday as the Trump administration ramps up pressure on Maduro.

Part of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Force, the troops were pictured firing mortar systems in live-fire drills during “reconnaissance, selection and occupation of position” maneuvers recently and training on first-person view attack drones in Puerto Rico, as well as conducting flight operations aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima in the Caribbean Sea. Trump Decries the Release of Embarrassing Pics of Bill Clinton With Epstein

President Trump revealed that he does not like the Justice Department’s release of embarrassing photos of a half-naked Bill Clinton swimming with late sex predator Jeffrey Epstein’s madam, Ghislaine Maxwell.

“No, I don’t like the pictures of Bill Clinton being shown,” he told reporters Monday. “I don’t like the pictures of other people being shown. I think it’s a terrible thing.”

“But you probably have pictures being exposed of other people that innocently met Jeffrey Epstein years ago.”

The DOJ has been forced to release the Epstein files due to a law Trump signed last month amid mounting political pressure. The Epstein Files Transparency Act had cleared the House and Senate nearly unanimously, with only one vote against it.

The law gave the DOJ a deadline of Dec. 19 — last Friday — to release all the files with redactions to protect the notorious pedophile’s victims. (Read more from “Trump Decries the Release of Embarrassing Pics of Bill Clinton With Epstein” HERE)

DOJ’s Release of Heavily Redacted Epstein Files Sparks Backlash

The Department of Justice began releasing a massive trove of documents related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein on Friday, but the rollout has quickly drawn criticism over the scope of redactions and lingering questions about transparency.

The release comes after Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act in November, setting a deadline for the Justice Department to make all remaining Epstein-related materials public. The legislation followed years of public pressure and bipartisan frustration over the government’s handling of records tied to Epstein’s sex trafficking network.

Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche said Friday morning on Fox & Friends that the DOJ planned to release “several hundred thousand documents” immediately, with additional batches expected over the coming weeks.

Axios reported that many of the documents are heavily redacted, with the administration citing the need to protect victims’ identities, private information, and ongoing investigations. The Trump administration was also granted authority to redact materials connected to active or sensitive probes involving high-profile figures, including former President Bill Clinton and former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers.

The DOJ launched a searchable online portal to host the files, a move that administration officials say reflects President Donald Trump’s commitment to transparency. However, critics argue that the volume of redactions undermines the purpose of the disclosure and risks fueling further public distrust.

The controversy highlights longstanding frustrations surrounding Epstein’s case. Epstein died in a New York federal jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges, in a death ruled a suicide. His associate, Ghislaine Maxwell, was later convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison.

The Epstein Files Transparency Act passed after years in which little progress was made toward releasing records during the Biden administration. Breitbart News previously reported that Democrats remained largely silent on the issue for four years before pushing for disclosure in 2025, a shift some Republicans have described as politically motivated.

President Trump encouraged Republicans to support the transparency legislation but has also urged the public to move on from what he has called a “Democrat hoax,” arguing that the Epstein issue has been used to distract from Republican policy successes.

While the DOJ insists more material is forthcoming, the initial release has left many questioning whether the most consequential information will ever be fully revealed — or whether the redactions will continue to shield powerful figures from scrutiny.

As more documents are released in the coming weeks, the central question remains whether the DOJ will deliver genuine transparency or simply a tightly controlled version of the Epstein record. For many Americans, especially those who believe justice has yet to be fully served, the heavily blacked-out pages released so far have only reinforced the sense that the Epstein saga is far from resolved.
