Iran Uprising Blamed on Cash Transfers to Hezbollah Terrorists

The terrorist organization Hezbollah is partly responsible for the popular uprising in Iran against the mullah regime in which citizens are shouting slogans addressing the ayatollah such as “Aren’t you ashamed Khamenei?”

That’s according to Yves Mamou, an author and journalist based in France writing for the Gatestone Institute.

Mamou explained that the protests in dozens of Iranian cities – which have prompted President Trump to suggest the U.S. could offer support at the right time – are because of the Iranian’s regime commitment to funding Hezbollah.

“The demonstrators were demanding that Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei spend Iranian money for Iranian people – and only for Iranian people,” Mamou wrote.

“Ironically, Iran’s receiving more than $100 billion in frozen assets (from the Obama administration) for the hapless ‘nuclear deal’ succeeded in breaking the solidarity between Iranian people and the Ayatollahs’ regime better than the sanctions did. During the tough time of sanctions, the Iranian people stood by their leaders,” Mamou wrote. (Read more from “Iran Uprising Blamed on Cash Transfers to Hezbollah Terrorists” HERE)

After Pop Star Cancels Show for Israel Boycott, Former Beatles Band Mate Takes Matters Into His Own Hands

Just a week after singer Lorde canceled her planned concert in Tel Aviv, former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr announced he will be performing in Israel.

The announcement was made on Starr’s website, stating that his All Starr Band had added new tour dates for their travels through Europe and Israel.

The 13th iteration band includes fellow rock legends Steve Lukather of Toto, Greg Rollie of Journey and Graham Gouldman of 10cc, according to Breitbart, and are booked for the Menorah Mivtahim Arena in Tel Aviv.

“Starr is going ahead with his visit, where others have feared to tread,” reports Breitbart Jerusalem. “Notably Lorde and Pink Floyd bassist Roger Waters, who remains one of the most vocal anti-Israel celebrities in entertainment.”

The 21-year-old singer was scheduled to perform in the summer of 2018 in Tel Aviv, but received immense pressure from hard-left Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, which had called for boycotts of Israel.

“I’ve received an overwhelming number of messages and letters and have had a lot of discussions with people holding many views,” Lorde said in response to the call for her to step down. “And I think the right decision at this time is to cancel the show.”

However, the cancelation of the famous “Royals” singer was met with backlash on both social media and in other portions of the entertainment industry.

Meanwhile, social media users have highlighted the hypocrisy, as Lorde — who canceled her Israel concert on the basis of human rights reasons — will continue her concerts in other locations such as Russia.

Yet, other celebrities — like Starr — have gone ahead with concerts in the country during such controversial times, including those such as Lady Gaga, Radiohead, Rihanna and even Sir Paul McCartney — the latter having been threatened back in 2008 if he performed for his audience of 400,000 in Tel Aviv.

“If he values his life Mr. McCartney must not come to Israel,” militant Islamic activist Omar Bakri Muhammad said in reference to McCartney. “He will not be safe there. The sacrifice operatives will be waiting for him.”

Radiohead singer Thom Yorke has even been outspoken about the disdain of other celebrities towards Israel. As reported by The Guardian, Yorke fired back at Waters and other BDS activists for pressuring the band to cancel their concert scheduled concert in the Jewish state.

“It’s deeply disrespectful to assume that we’re either being misinformed or that we’re so retarded we can’t make these decisions ourselves,” Yorke told Rolling Stone.

“I thought it was patronizing in the extreme,” he added. “It’s offensive and I just can’t understand why going to play a rock show or going to lecture at a university (is a problem to them).” (For more from the author of “After Pop Star Cancels Show for Israel Boycott, Former Beatles Band Mate Takes Matters Into His Own Hands” please click HERE)

Iran Says Trump’s ‘Absurd Tweets’ Have Incited Disruption

An Iranian ambassador lambasted President Trump Wednesday for encouraging disruption in Iran with his “absurd tweets,” and crossing “every limit” in international relations by expressing support for Iran’s anti-government protestors.

Iranian Ambassador Gholamali Khoshroo, in a letter to U.N. officials, accused Washington of intervening “in a grotesque way in Iran’s internal affairs,” and singled out Trump and Vice President Mike Pence for “personally stirring up trouble.”

“The President and Vice-President of the United States, in their numerous absurd tweets, incited Iranians to engage in disruptive acts,” the ambassador wrote to the U.N. Security Council president and U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.

At least 21 people have been killed and hundreds arrested in Iran during a week of anti-government protests and unrest over economic woes and official corruption. Meanwhile, tens of thousands of people took part in counter-demonstrations Wednesday backing the clerically overseen government, which has said “enemies of Iran” are fomenting the protests.

Trump’s tweets have expressed support for the protestors, saying Iran is “failing at every level” and declared that it is “time for change” in the Islamic Republic. (Read more from “Iran Says Trump’s ‘Absurd Tweets’ Have Incited Disruption” HERE)

Major City Gets Muslim Mayor, Now Tops in Acid Attacks

London Mayor Sadiq Khan is infamous for his declaration terrorism is simply “part and parcel of living in a big city.”

And under Khan’s leadership, there’s another part of living in a big city that has become routine – soaring crime rates.

For example, gun crime in London is up 15 percent, homicides are up 25 percent, including an explosion in youth homicide of 70 percent, and robbery is up by more than a third.

The year 2017 ended with four fatal stabbings in London, with one man dying in the early hours of 2018 and becoming the first victim of the new year. Khan claims he will work “tirelessly in 2018 and beyond to stamp out this scourge,” but his past record is not encouraging.

According to statistics from the London government itself, crime soared from 2016 to 2017, including in the categories of theft, robbery, burglary, knife crime and gun crime. Khan was elected mayor in May 2016. (Read more from “Major City Gets Muslim Mayor, Now Tops in Acid Attacks” HERE)

Dreaded, Sadistic ISIS Executioner Reportedly Captured in Iraq; Could Be Executed Himself

A white-bearded ISIS militant who presided over the killings of dozens of gay men and others who ran afoul of the so-called “caliphate” was captured in the Iraqi city of Mosul last week, according to reports.

Abu Omer was arrested after locals in Mosul tipped security forces off to his hideout in the city, the Iran-based AhlulBayt News Agency (ANBA) reported, citing Iraqi media outlets.

Abu Omer was a prominent presence in several sick videos of ISIS executions, in which homosexuals were thrown off buildings and others beheaded and stoned to death for minor offenses such as blasphemy.

In one video, apparently from March 2015, a man who appears to be Omer reads off a list of charges against three men before they are publicly beheaded.

Another photo appears to show Omer inspecting a pile of rocks before a public stoning. Now, this most feared ISIS executioner could be executed himself. (Read more from “Dreaded, Sadistic ISIS Executioner Reportedly Captured in Iraq; Could Be Executed Himself” HERE)

Israel Has Problems With Illegals, Issues Ultimatum

Israel has issued an ultimatum to thousands of Africans who illegally entered the country – get out in the next three months or go to prison.

The Population and Immigration Authority demanded this week that migrants from Sudan and Eritrea leave “to their country or to a third country,” meaning Rwanda or Uganda.

Those who cooperate and leave by the end of March will receive $3,500, along with airfare and other incentives, as reported by multiple outlets.

This is all part of an Israeli campaign to expel roughly 42,000 illegal African migrants from the country. These migrants entered Israel before it built a fence along its border with Egypt. Many of them seek refugee status, claiming they fled conflict and persecution in their home countries.

However, the Israeli government has termed them “infiltrators” and says they are mainly economic migrants whose presence in large numbers threatens Israel’s Jewish character. (Read more from “Israel Has Problems With Illegals, Issues Ultimatum” HERE)

Trump Responds to Kim’s ‘Button on Desk’ Comment

President Trump on Tuesday said that the nuclear launch button on his desk is “much bigger” and “more powerful” than that of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un – and that his button actually “works.”

“North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the ‘Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times,'” Trump tweeted. “Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!”

Trump’s comments came after Kim said in a New Year’s Day speech that he had a nuclear launch button at his desk, and that the international community would have to accept North Korea’s status as a nuclear-armed nation as a “reality.”

In that address, Kim also said he was willing to send a delegation to the Winter Olympics in South Korea in February and engage in talks with Seoul about easing military tensions between the two countries.

South Korea responded to Kim’s remarks on Tuesday, calling for a dialogue between Seoul and Pyongyang aimed at de-escalating tensions ahead of the Winter Games. (Read more from “Trump Responds to Kim’s ‘Button on Desk’ Comment” HERE)

UN Brings Back Image of Pagan God

Experts in Israel are expressing concern that the United Nations’ goal is warping toward the promotion of idolatry after word was released that the organization is playing a key role in the image of a third pagan god – the goddess of “extra-marital relations.” . . .

Joe Kovacs, author of “Shocked By The Bible 2,” says the whole sad spectacle is part of an old story.

“The promotion of pagan gods is certainly nothing new, and it again shows we’re all living in what I call ‘Opposite World,’” he explained. “It’s a world where most people do the very opposite action of what God has instructed. Our Creator tells us to have no other gods but Him, but folks do the opposite, honoring false gods.

“The Bible says Solomon, one of the wisest men who ever lived, built shrines to pagan gods such as Molech, a pagan god to whom people would burn their children alive in fires. It’s just sickening. Even God-fearing Christians today don’t realize they’re doing the very opposite of God’s instructions when they decorate trees with silver and gold and stand them up in their homes and churches every December. God personally says in the tenth chapter of Jeremiah not to do that precise heathen custom, and yet people have been tricked into decorating trees with all sorts of silver tinsel, gold garland and hanging ornaments, and they have no scriptural basis for it. For those interested in eternal life, we need to wake up and start obeying the instructions of our Maker, and stop all this pagan worthlessness.” (Read more from “UN Brings Back Image of Pagan God” HERE)

‘The Button Is Always on My Desk’

North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un offered a New Year’s Day olive branch to his neighbors in South Korea – but it came with a nuclear warning to the U.S. . . .

“The U.S. should know that the button for nuclear weapons is on my table,” Kim said in his speech to the nation. “This is reality, not a threat. The entire area of the U.S. mainland is within our nuclear strike range. … The United States can never start a war against me and our country.”

South Korea welcomed Kim’s offer to send a delegation to the Pyongyang Games and hold talks with the South to discuss possible participation.

“We have always stated our willingness to talk with North Korea any time and anywhere if that would help restore inter-Korean relations and lead to peace on the Korean peninsula,” a spokesman for the presidential Blue House said. “We hope the two Koreas will sit down and find a solution to lower tensions and establish peace on the Korean peninsula.”

South Korean President Moon Jae-in has said North Korea’s participation will ensure safety of the Pyongyang Olympics and proposed last month that Seoul and Washington postpone large military drills that the North denounces as a rehearsal for war until after the Games. ISIS Attack in Afghanistan Kills 41

An Islamic State suicide bomber struck a Shiite cultural center in Kabul on Thursday, killing at least 41 people and underscoring the extremist group’s growing reach in Afghanistan even as its self-styled caliphate in Iraq and Syria has been dismantled.

The attack may have targeted the pro-Iran Afghan Voice news agency housed in the two-story building. The Sunni extremists of IS view Shiite Muslims as apostates and have repeatedly attacked Afghanistan’s Shiite minority and targets linked to neighboring Iran . . .

Local Shiite leader Abdul Hussain Ramazandada said the bomber slipped into an academic seminar at the center and blew himself up among the participants. More bombs went off just outside the center as people fled.

The IS-linked Aamaq news agency said four bombs were used in the assault, one strapped to the suicide attacker. It said the center was funded by Iran and used to propagate Shiite beliefs.

Ali Reza Ahmadi, a journalist with Afghan Voice, said he leaped from the window of his second-floor office after the first bomb went off and saw flames pouring from the basement. (Read more from “ISIS Attack in Afghanistan Kills 41” HERE)
