New Batch of Al-Qaida Terrorists Meet US Special Operators, Allah

Several al-Qaida affiliated Al-Shabaab members were killed in a joint U.S.-Somalian raid Thursday, the Associated Press reports.

U.S. Africa Command confirmed an “advise and assist” mission took place but offered no details to the AP. The raid is the latest in a series of escalating actions against the terrorist group under new authorities provided by President Donald Trump.

Trump declared Somalia an “area of active hostilities” in late March, giving the U.S. military greater autonomy in green-lighting airstrikes.

A U.S. Navy SEAL was killed in Somalia in May during a similar raid, marking the first U.S. combat death in the country since the 1993 Black Hawk Down incident that killed 18 service-members. Pentagon Spokesman Capt. Jeff Davis told reporters July 5 the U.S. keeps approximately 50 troops in Somalia to advise and assist the Somalian army. CNN Hires Top Al-Qaeda Propagandist for Documentary, Fails Miserably Trying to Cover It Up

Bilal Abdul Kareem, of On the Ground News, was contracted by CNN to film a documentary called Undercover in Syria. Kareem is a self-proclaimed media activist living in rebel-held Syria and is considered “one of the top English-language propagandists for al-Qaeda’s Syrian affiliate Jabat al-Nusra,” according to an Alternet exposé on Abdul Kareem and his connections to terrorism and CNN.

On June 16 Abdul Kareem went public with his intimate connection to CNN, and its documentary Undercover in Syria. He relayed his frustration with the network, having essentially whitewashed him out of his credit for a documentary he had a large hand in creating for CNN, which won a prestigious Peabody Award.

Abdul Kareem explained how CNN contracted him and his online news outlet, On the Ground News, to film the award-winning documentary.

“This was with CNN and their correspondent Clarissa Ward, which I have big-time respect for, big-time respect as a journalist, as a person,” Abdul Kareem said.

This Undercover in Syria, you can Google it — it won the prestigious Peabody Award, and it won the prestigious Overseas Press Club Award, which are basically the highest awards in journalism for international reporting. Now, [CNN] barely mentioned my name! I’m telling you, somehow CNN must have forgotten that I was the one that filmed it, I guess they forgot that.

Contrary to Abdul Kareem’s statement that “CNN must have forgotten,” the reality is likely much closer to the fact that they intentionally minimized the credit Abdul Kareem received, due to his connections to terrorism – thus becoming a mere footnote in the Peabody Awards press release.

While the Peabody organization praised CNN host Clarissa Ward for “[going] undercover into northern Syria to document Russian influence on the fighting and to navigate the ongoing devastation,” Abdul Kareem was only given credit in small print, despite him being responsible for filming and providing CNN with the documentary footage of Syria.

CNN President Jeff Zucker delivered a keynote address at an April 17 ceremony where the network had won the Overseas Press Club Award for the Undercover in Syria documentary. In a press release, the network celebrated the access Ward had been granted to Islamist insurgent-held eastern Aleppo, but failed to credit Abdul Kareem for being the facilitator of these events, or even mention his name.

While Abdul Kareem denies involvement with terrorist organizations, the Saudi news outlet Al Arabiya reported on June 7 that Abdul Kareem officially joined Jabat al-Nusra in 2012.

Abdul Kareem took to Facebook to dispute the allegation in a video response. “I am not, nor have I ever been, nor do I need to be a part of al-Qaeda. I don’t have any need for that,” he said.

According to a report from Alternet:

However, one of Abdul Kareem’s closest colleagues has also been accused of membership in Syria’s al-Qaeda franchise. Akif Razaq, an employee of Abdul Kareem’s online media group, On the Ground News, was recently stripped of British citizenship for his alleged involvement with al-Nusra. A notice presented by British authorities to Razaq’s family in Birmingham accused him of being “aligned with an al-Qaeda-aligned group” and declared that he “presents a risk to the national security of the United Kingdom.”During Abdul Kareem’s Facebook video response to the Al Arabiya report, he was seated beside Razap. Razaq has also co-hosted On the Ground News segments with him. While Abdul Kareem insisted there was “no proof” of his membership in the Salafi-jihadist organization, rebels inside Syria tell a different story…Last December, AlterNet’s Grayzone Project exposed Bilal Abdul Kareem’s involvement with some of Syria’s most notorious jihadist figures and his open propagation of their sectarian ideology. Most prominent among the clerics granted a friendly audience by Abdul Kareem was Abdullah al-Muhaysini, the Saudi Arabian hate preacher and warlord praised by Abdul Kareem as “probably the most loved cleric in the Syrian territories today.”Muhaysini is indeed popular among the Al Qaeda-allied rebels of Syria, and holds considerable sway over the entire region of Idlib. He has appeared in refugee camps to recruit child soldiers, raised millions of dollars for jihadist offensives and granted his blessing to the mass executions of captured Syrian soldiers on the grounds that the captives were kuffar, or blasphemers. The cleric’s goal, like that of ISIS, has been to establish an exclusively Sunni state purged of Shia, Druze and Christian citizens of Syria, and run according to a strict interpretation of Islamic law.

Others, such as Abdullah Abu Azzam, an activist affiliated with the rebel group Kataib Thawar al-Sham, using a pseudonym to protect his identity due to threat of retaliation from al-Nusra, have come forward to proclaim that Abdul Kareem was not only a propagandist for al-Nusra, but well known as a member of the group.

In an interview with Alternet, done over WhatsApp, Abdullah Abu Azzam said that rebel fighters/jihadis “refer to Abdul Kareem as the “American mujahid” (mujahid is Arabic for jihadist).”

Abu Azzam said that Abdul Kareem had even made a series of YouTube videos for the official account of Jaish al-Fatah, the jihadi coalition led by al-Nusra — al-Qaeda’s affiliate army in Syria. He intimated that Abdul Kareem directly worked with the late public relations director for Jaish al-Fateh, Ammar Abu al-Majid, using the alias, Abu Osama.

Additionally, Abu Azzam claimed that he had knowledge of Abdul Kareem collaborating directly with Salafi cleric Abdul Razzaq al-Mahdi, one of the ideological leaders of the Islamist jihadis in Syria. In fact, Al-Mahdi, one of the most popular guests on Abdul Kareem’s videos, was a co-founder of Syrian al-Qaeda’s most recent rebranding as Hay’at Tahrir al-Sham. He later defected to the competing Salafist militia Ahrar al-Sham.

Alternet attempted to get answers from CNN regarding their hiring of a reputed terrorist by contacting the senior press manager for CNN International, along with CNN’s Middle East press officer and public relations coordinator — requesting comment on Abdul Kareem’s relationship to the network. “We asked for details about Abdul Kareem’s contractual obligations with CNN and whether the network felt his well-documented relationship with al-Qaeda compromised the reporting it carried out in Syria,” according to Alternet.

Let’s just say the silence from CNN is deafening, as they refused to respond or comment. Please share this story to help others understand how news is often manufactured to propagandize the public into accepting a false reality and to convince the public into accepting global militarism as the norm. Tillerson Commits US to Secret Deal With Terror-Friendly Qatar

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has entered the United States into a secret agreement with the Islamic supremacist nation of Qatar, refusing to reveal its contents to the American people.

The State Department chief is attempting “shuttle diplomacy” in the Middle East this week in an attempt to resolve tensions between Doha and its Gulf neighbors, which unanimously accuse the rogue state of attempting to sow discord throughout the region.

Conservative Review has attempted to acquire a copy of the Memorandum of Understanding between the U.S. and Qatar. However, the State Department has rejected multiple requests to deliver the text of the agreement. Instead, a State spokesperson referred CR to Tuesday’s State Department briefing.

During the briefing, a reporter asked spokesperson Heather Nauert when the public will be getting “the details of what was in this memorandum.” In response, Nauert does not directly answer the question, telling reporters:

“Well, this is all fresh. It’s all new. The president had asked the secretary to go over there and personally handle this. So we’re just going to keep an eye on it, keep an eye on the situation. Because it’s still developing.”

“Together, the United States and Qatar will do more to track down funding sources, will do more to collaborate and share information, and will do more to keep the region and our homeland safe,” Tillerson said upon signing the agreement.

Al Jazeera, a media outlet controlled and run by the state of Qatar, analyzed that the agreement will “make the U.S. and Qatar closer.”

The mechanisms for aligning the United States with terror-friendly Qatar remains a complete mystery. By withholding the text of the agreement, Tillerson has put the American people in the dark about a crucial aspect of America’s national security.

“Qatar and the United States have signed a memorandum of understanding between the two counties outlining future efforts Qatar can take to fortify its fight against terrorism and actively address terrorism funding issues,” State Department official R.C. Hammond told reporters Tuesday.

But immediately following the “anti-terror” agreement, a defiant Qatar pledged to continue supporting the U.S.-designated terrorist group Hamas.

Qatar has frequently dedicated state resources toward efforts supporting — sometimes quite openly — prominent international terrorist organizations. Doha has long been accused of supporting al-Qaida, the Taliban, the Muslim Brotherhood, and even ISIS. According to the UAE government, some 43 al-Qaida operatives live openly and freely in Qatar.

Throughout the process, Tillerson has directed his efforts toward propping up the Qatari position. A list of 13 mandates needed for Qatar to normalize relations with its neighbors — which included cutting off terror financing and collusion with the Iranian regime and Muslim Brotherhood — was categorized by Tillerson’s State Department as unreasonable and dishonest.

Described by allies as “a man born with oil in his veins,” the former ExxonMobil CEO has become very cozy with energy-rich Qatar over the years. The secretary of state has a close relationship with the ruling emir – the two have met countless times over the past few years. Tillerson has, in the past, described the human-rights violating Qatar as a country of “visionary leadership” and “an example to the world.”

Sec. Tillerson’s position consistently contradicts that of President Trump, who often reminds allies that Qatar is a pariah state that cozies up to jihadis. The president has singled out Qatar on multiple occasions in past months, urging Doha to stop terrorist financing. ‘Bloodiest Ramadan in Recent History’

Ramadan, the month of fasting that forms one of the five “pillars” of Islam, in recent years frequently drew mention from President Obama.

Attacks and threats against Muslims have been reported during the most recent holiday, including a threat of violence at a Manhattan mosque, an assault of a woman on a Boston train, pellet gun vandalism at a New York mosque, hateful phone calls at Denver mosques and harassment of girls wearing hijabs in Chicago.

The Christian ministry Barnabas Fund, however, highlighted another statistic.

It noted 1,629 people were killed by Muslims during their holy month this year.

“On 26 May, just as Ramadan was about to start, jihadists attacked buses carrying Egyptian Christians to a monastery, killing 29 – some of them young children,” the worldwide ministry to persecuted Christians reported. (Read more from “‘Bloodiest Ramadan in Recent History'” HERE)

Body Language Experts Sound off on Trump-Putin Meeting

Dugan Arnett. For body-language experts, Friday was sort of like Christmas.

After months of waiting, after investigations into Russian election meddling, after considerable analysis and build-up, two of the world’s most powerful men — President Trump and President Vladimir Putin of Russia — finally met face to face at the G-20 summit in Hamburg, Germany.

Cameras, of course, were rolling for the initial greeting, and almost immediately, those who study such things say, the two began a nonverbal power negotiation.

Opinions on the interaction varied among body-language experts, but on one thing everyone agreed: For Trump, a man who has been routinely lampooned for the aggressive manner in which he shakes hands, Friday’s performance was quite out of the ordinary. Body Language Experts: Trump “Completely Different” in Recent Meeting

By Chris Baynes. Donald Trump’s body language was “completely different” at his meeting with Vladimir Putin, than it was with other world leaders, according to body language experts who have analysed his meetings with other world leaders.

The US President’s awkwardly long handshakes have become infamous since he took office, with his habit of aggressively yanking other heads of state towards him. Psychologists say this is a tactical move to assert dominance. . .

Unlike in previous meetings with premiers, Mr Trump did not lean in and there was no sign of his trademark aggression.

The pair briefly shook hands for a second time at a media photo call, when the US President leaned back in his seat and refrained from pulling Mr Putin towards him.

[One expert] suggested Mr Trump was wary of appearing “chummy” with the Russian President, amid ongoing investigations into claims Moscow interfered in the US Presidential election to his benefit. (Read more from this story on body language experts and Trump HERE)

Arch-Terrorists Emerge as Frontrunners for Palestinian Presidency

If you wondered why Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas was so unwilling to do the reasonable and humane act of stopping payments to terrorists, you now have your answer.

A recent poll shows that the Palestinian public prefers a leader even more radical than the terror-inciting Abbas, who has a long history of stirring up militant action against Israel.

More than nine in 10 Palestinians want their governing body to continue paying salaries to jailed terrorists and the families of terrorists killed in “martyrdom” operations against innocent Israelis, a new poll finds.

The Ramallah-based Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research (PSR) finds that Abbas has become deeply unpopular among Palestinians, accumulating only 31 percent support.

Palestinians prefer Marwan Barghouti — a convicted terrorist currently held in an Israeli prison for the murder of five people — to lead the Palestinian Authority.

Ismail Haniyeh, the leader of the Hamas terrorist organization, comes in second in presidential preference. Haniyeh has endorsed suicide operations as part of a genocidal campaign to destroy Israel.

“If presidential elections were between three: Mahmoud Abbas, Marwan Barghouti and Ismail Haniyeh, Abbas would receive 22%, Barghouti 41% and Haniyeh 32%,” the PSR states.

The poll also finds that only 7 percent of Palestinians support cutting off salaries to terrorists, while 91 percent are opposed. The “martyrs fund” paid out $183 million to 26,800 Palestinian families last year. Additionally, 6,500 jihadi prisoners took home a total of $135 million altogether, according to the 2016 Palestinian Authority budget.

Earlier this week, Abbas vowed to never stop paying terrorists.

“‘Even if I will have to leave my position, I will not compromise on the salary (rawatib) of a Martyr (Shahid) or a prisoner, as I am the president of the entire Palestinian people, including the prisoners, the Martyrs, the injured, the expelled, and the uprooted,” Abbas said, according to a Palestinian Media Watch translation.

White House officials have continued to push Palestinian leadership to stop terrorist payments as a show of goodwill to the Israelis. Trump envoys, Jared Kushner and Jason Greenblatt, have repeatedly asked a defiant Abbas to shut down the martyr fund, but have not had any success in stopping the terrorist-funding pipeline.

In addition to their overwhelming support for jihad against Israel, it might not come as a surprise that Palestinians also tend to be virulently anti-Semitic. A global survey in 2015 found that Palestinians are the world’s most anti-Semitic people, with 93 percent harboring anti-Semitic attitudes. Archaeologists Unearth a 500-Year-Old Tower of Skulls — and Another Gruesome Aztec Mystery

The 400 Spanish conquistadors who walked into the Aztec capital in the 16th century had conquest and new-world riches on their minds, but they were initially welcomed as friends. From that peaceful vantage point, they were amazed by the splendor of the people of Tenochtitlan — and their cannibalistic brutality.

They found temples soaked with blood and human hearts being burned in ceramic braziers, according to the Archaeological Institute of America . . .

The conquistadors and the Spaniards who followed them wrote of the victims of human sacrifices rolling down the steps of the temple, where they were dismembered, then eaten in a stew with chilies and tomatoes.

But one thing terrified the European newcomers more than almost anything: A rack of human skulls that towered over one corner of the temple to Huitzilopochtli, the Aztec god of the sun, war and human sacrifice. Vatican Police Raid Drug-Fueled Gay Orgy at Top Priest’s Apartment

By Megan Cerullo. Vatican police raided a drug-fueled gay sex party at a top priest’s apartment near the city, according to an Italian newspaper report.

The apartment’s occupant, who was not named by police, serves as a secretary to Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio, a personal adviser to Pope Francis.

The apartment belongs to the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of Faith — the branch that reviews appeals from clergy found guilty of sexual abuse of minors, according to Italian daily Il Fatto Quotidiano, which first published the explosive report.

Police raided the apartment in June after neighbors complained of unusual behavior among frequent nighttime visitors.

Police arrested the priest and hospitalized him to detox him from the drugs he had ingested, according to the newspaper. (Read more from “Vatican Police Raid Drug-Fueled Gay Orgy at Top Priest’s Apartment” HERE)

Vatican Police ‘Break up Drug-Fuelled Gay Orgy at Home of Secretary of One of Pope Francis’s Key Advisers’

By Julian Robinson. Vatican police have broken up a gay orgy at the home of the secretary to one of Pope Francis’s key advisers, it has been reported.

The flat belonged to the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, which is in charge of tackling clerical sexual abuse.

When police showed up, they found drugs and a group of men engaged in sexual activity, local reports state.

Reports in Italy claim the occupant of the apartment is allegedly the secretary to Cardinal Francesco Coccopalmerio – a key aide to the 80-year-old Pope . . .

It is the latest scandal to hit the Vatican and comes after its finance chief Cardinal George Pell was charged with historical sexual offences. (Read more from “Vatican Police ‘Break up Drug-Fuelled Gay Orgy at Home of Secretary of One of Pope Francis’s Key Advisers'” HERE)

Secret of Ancient Concrete – Exponentially Better Than Modern Materials – Discovered by Scientists

Restoring Liberty Editor’s note: Here’s yet another indicator of how advanced our ancestors were: they created a concrete that lasts many times longer than modern versions. Add this on top of the metallurgy of Viking swords, the ancient electric batteries of Mesopotamia, the seafaring, global explorers of prehistoric Polynesia, and more, you’ve got to ask yourself: are we really smarter than those who preceded us?

Compare the writings of our Founders to modern times. We can barely read and comprehend what they wrote, let alone replicate it.

Without a doubt, we are advanced technologically, but that’s happened along with a decaying intellect for two reasons: (1) we effectively have one language combined with the unprecedented collective input of (2) billions of humans.

But the cell phones, super-computers, and other advanced toys delude us into thinking we have all the answers. The opposite is actually true. And it makes us much more likely to be deceived by the lies of our Establishment rulers.

In reality, we believe numerous fairy tales – like we and everything around us are constantly evolving to a more advanced state – or that we have the ability to choose our gender – or that we actually are exercising meaningful choice in the voting booth – to rejecting that we are created beings, ultimately subject to a Divine order.

Don’t you think it’s time to pause and self-reflect? Any effort to throw off our modern chains will require this.

It is a mystery that continues to baffle modern engineers. Why do 2,000-year-old Roman piers survive to this day, yet modern concrete seawalls embedded with steel crumble within decades? . . .

Now scientists in the US think they have found the answer, and it could finally lead to modern sea defences which withstand time and tide.

They discovered that when saltwater mixes with the volcanic ash and lime used by Roman builders, it leads to the growth of interlocking minerals, which bring a virtually impenetrable cohesion to concrete.

“We’re looking at a system that’s contrary to everything one would want in cement-based concrete,” said Prof Marie Jackson, a geology and geophysics research professor at the University of Utah who led the study . . .

Roman engineers made concrete by mixing volcanic ash with lime and seawater to make a mortar, and then added chunks of volcanic rock. The combination of ash, water, and lime produces what is called a pozzolanic reaction, named after the city of Pozzuoli in the Bay of Naples, triggering the formation of crystals in the gaps of the mixture as it sets. Shadow President? Obama Meets With South Korean President to Discuss Trump

Former President Barack Obama seems to be feeling nostalgic for his old job, meeting with South Korean President Moon Jae-in Monday for 40 minutes.

The Korea Herald reported that Moon spoke about his recent meetings with President Trump in Washington and asked Obama for his advice on how to improve that relationship.

The meeting came after Obama spoke at the Asian Leadership Conference and the Fourth Congress of Indonesian Diaspora in Jakarta. There he attacked Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Paris climate change accord.

“In Paris, we came together around the most ambitious agreement in history about climate change, an agreement that even with the temporary absence of American leadership can still give our children a fighting chance,” Obama said in Indonesia.
