Border Doctor: Previously-Deported Illegal Alien with Tuberculosis Ignored by Feds

A source told Breitbart Texas that an illegal immigrant from Guatemala is currently being treated for active tuberculosis (TB) at the University Medical Center (UMC) of El Paso.

Dr. Elizabeth Lee Vliet–a preventive medicine physician and former Director of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons (AAPS)–has practices in Arizona and Texas. Vliet claimed that one of her patients, whose name can not be disclosed for confidentiality reasons, called her with fears that the TB-positive immigrant was putting other lives at risk.

Vliet said her patient informed her that ICE and DHS would not take the illegal immigrant–who was previously deported but is now back in the U.S.–into custody.

A representative at UMC El Paso told Breitbart Texas that information on the supposedly infected individual could not be released. “HIPAA prevents us from releasing any information about specific diagnoses,” the spokeswoman said.
She added, however, that “five El Paso hospitals are currently treating immigrants.”

Violent MS-13 Gang Members Leave Graffiti on Bathroom Walls of Nogales Border Patrol Processing Center

Photo Credit: TownHall An internal Border Patrol executive summary obtained by Townhall confirms that at least 16 unaccompanied illegal minors (those under the age of 18, according to U.S. government policy), are members of the brutal El Salvadorian street gang Mara Salvatrucha—or MS-13.

Gang members left graffiti on the walls of the Nogales Border Patrol processing center, which suggested they had ties to the organization.

“Border Patrol Agents (BPAs) and Customs and Border Protection Officers (CBPOs), assigned to The Nogales Placement Center (NPC), discovered that 16 unaccompanied alien children (13 El Salvadoran males, two Guatelmalan males and one Honduran male) currently being held at the NPC are members of Mara Salvatrucha (MS-13). The MS-13 gang members admitted to their gang associations following a discovery of graffiti at the NPC. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), and the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) were notified,” the summary states. “Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO), and the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) were notified.”

China Thinks it Can Defeat America in Battle

Photo Credit: U.S. Navy via Getty ImagesThe bad news first. The People’s Republic of China now believes it can successfully prevent the United States from intervening in the event of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan or some other military assault by Beijing.

Now the good news. China is wrong — and for one major reason. It apparently disregards the decisive power of America’s nuclear-powered submarines.

Moreover, for economic and demographic reasons Beijing has a narrow historical window in which to use its military to alter the world’s power structure. If China doesn’t make a major military move in the next couple decades, it probably never will.

The U.S. Navy’s submarines — the unsung main defenders of the current world order — must hold the line against China for another 20 years. After that, America can declare a sort of quiet victory in the increasingly chilly Cold War with China.

Pat Buchanan Book Busts 'Myth' Nixon Was Racist, Had Vietnam 'Secret Plan

Patrick J. Buchanan, setting out to correct the “myths” of his former presidential boss, this week is unleashing a memo-filled memoir that debunks several charges against Richard Nixon, including the most scurrilous: the so-called GOP White House “southern strategy” was racist.

In The Greatest Comeback: How Richard Nixon Rose from Defeat to Create the New Majority, Buchanan provides multiple examples of the former president’s “emotional empathy” with African-Americans and reminds readers that Democrats had a strong racist strain 50 years ago, as evidenced by the 1968 and 1972 presidential campaigns of segregationist Alabama Gov. George Wallace.

“Just about every Klan member between 1865 and 1965 is a Democrat, and we’re charged with all this stuff?” he said mockingly in an interview.

Hired in 1966 as one Nixon’s original and closest aides, Buchanan said, “I know exactly what was done, what happened, where we were, what we said.”

The southern strategy started when he and Nixon wrote a column for the Washington Post on May 8, 1966, that criticized a century of Democratic “racist oratory” in the South and recommended that the GOP “adhere to the principles” of Abraham Lincoln.

The U.S. Politicos Kissing Up to Russia (Including Our Very Own…)

Speaker after speaker, with few exceptions, denounced American policy towards Russia, defended the actions of Vladimir Putin, and ferociously attacked anyone who disagreed with them. The discussions took place at the Hart Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill, with an after party at the Embassy…

The American system was represented, by two, state-level American politicians there: Alaska Lieutenant Governor Mead Treadwell and Minnesota Secretary of State Mark Ritchie.

Both men were recruited to gush about the importance of U.S.-Russian relations for their respective state economies, and warn against any moves that might set those relations back. “The first question I’m always asked is can I see Russia from my house,” Treadwell joked in reference to the former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, before getting to the more serious business. “Do not forget: we are neighbors because people will be affected.” Tell that to the Ukrainians.

Ritchie took to the stage to complain about how a “U.S.-Russia Innovation” forum originally scheduled to take place in St. Paul in March was “frozen” by the State Department as a result of Russia’s invasion of Crimea. “You don’t call them and tell dinner’s off because Washington called and said, ‘cancel dinner,’” he said. Apparently, Russia’s blatant overthrow of the European security order shouldn’t interfere with Midwestern hospitality.

Zimbabwe President Says ‘No To Whites’ Owning Land

“We say no to whites owning our land and they should go,” the 90 year-old Mugabe told the crowd, gathered in Mhangura, a farming village, according to the Christian Science Monitor.

“They can own companies and apartments…but not the soil. It is ours and that message should ring loud and clear in Britain and the United States.”

“Don’t be too kind to white farmers. Land is yours, not theirs,” Mugabe added, according to the BBC.

Mugabe’s call for black land ownership is not new, though it has become more extreme since he took power in 1980, when he called for more equality in land ownership, not outright abolition of white farm ownership.

The Peace Process Is a Game Israel Can’t Win

Diplomacy is a strange twisted business of lies, deceit and badly mixed drinks served at hotel bars that are a year away from being blown up. The motives are so twisted that everyone often ends up doing the opposite of what they set out to do. But even by the standards of international diplomacy where mixed motives and terrible ideas stew in a solid gold pot for years before they explode, the peace process between Israel and the PLO terrorists is in a horrible class of its own.

The one thing that everyone involved in the process, from the PLO terrorists to the Israelis to the international diplomats who arrive with a Bluetooth in one ear and a talking point in the other, can agree on is that it will never work. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not in a million years.

But that doesn’t mean that they’re about to stop.

Israel realized it wasn’t working a few years in after buses began blowing up more often than they were arriving on time. And the PLO can’t reach a final agreement because it’s not an independent actor. From its earliest days, before the Six Day War, it was a puppet of other countries. It’s still a projection of state power by Muslim countries in the region who want to perpetuate a conflict with Israel without spending too much money on bombs and guns.

Pentagon Official: Situation in Iraq Is ‘So F**ked’

“The Pentagon is split and the administration is paralyzed,” he said, calling the gridlock “horrendous.”

“Joint Chiefs Chairman [Martin] Dempsey is an asshat yes man,” he continued. “We have congressional authority to use force for the Iraq War, as it never expired, but people are putting targeting packets through unnecessary bureaucracy to slow events to the point that — they hope — the situation is overcome by events. Bad call. So fucked. Reads like another chapter in [Robert] Gates’s book.”

While the Iraqi government is accepting military assistance from Russia and Syria, the Obama administration has yet to authorize the airstrikes Iraqi officials have repeatedly asked for.

“Time is not on our side,” Iraqi ambassador to the U.S. said Tuesday. “Further delay only benefits the terrorists.”

'Ideal Aryan Baby' on Cover of Nazi Magazine Revealed to Be Jewish

Hessy Taft was six months old and living in Berlin in 1935 with her parents, Jacob and Pauline Levinsons, both singers.

At the time, Pauline Levinsons took Hessy to a popular photographer to have her portrait taken, The Telegraph reports.

Months later, Taft’s photo appeared on the cover of Sonne ins Hause, a popular Nazi family magazine.

Fearing that the family’s religion would be exposed, Pauline Levinsons demanded an explanation from photographer Hans Ballin, who said he knew the family was Jewish and submitted the photo in a contest.

Medical Staff Warned: Keep your Mouths Shut About Illegal Immigrants or Face Arrest

A government-contracted security force threatened to arrest doctors and nurses if they divulged any information about the contagion threat at a refugee camp housing illegal alien children at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, sources say.

In spite of the threat, several former camp workers broke their confidentiality agreements and shared exclusive details with me about the dangerous conditions at the camp. They said taxpayers deserve to know about the contagious diseases and the risks the children pose to Americans. I have agreed to not to disclose their identities because they fear retaliation and prosecution.

“There were several of us who wanted to talk about the camps, but the agents made it clear we would be arrested,” a psychiatric counselor told me. “We were under orders not to say anything.”

The sources said workers were guarded by a security force from the Baptist Family & Children’s Services, which the Department of Health and Human Services hired to run the Lackland Camp.

The sources say security forces called themselves the “Brown Shirts.”

A plane carrying 140 undocumented immigrants, including lone children, landed at Lindbergh Field in San Diego Tuesday afternoon amid a brewing crisis over a surge of Central Americans crossing the U.S. border to escape poverty and crime in their home countries.

The charter jet from Texas left McAllan International Airport Tuesday morning. The immigrants were set to be bussed to Murrieta, where they would be processed at a Border Patrol office.

Awaiting them in Murrieta will be protesters.

This comes after President Obama in a news conference Monday called the spike in immigrants crossing into the U.S. through Texas a “humanitarian crisis.” On Monday, he asked for more than $2 billion to help with the situation. The president said he will go around Congress and shift resources to the border by the end of summer.

The U.S. is seeing a surge of immigrants from Central America due to rampant crime there, with a large number of those being unaccompanied children who are seeking to join their families.
