New Study Is Guaranteed to Tick off Gender-Fluidity Champions

A new study indicates that contrary to the position of social justice activists, gender differences may be very real indeed.

The study’s authors write, “We explored the time course of the two main interesting variables for the respective research question: 1) attractiveness and 2) gender, both processed on the basis of mere presentation of frontal 2D faces. Our rationale was as follows: If gender is processed earlier than attractiveness, once cannot exclude the possibility that sexual markers are already taken into account early in the processing of attractiveness. In other words, attractiveness assessment at a very early stage is highly probably gender-specific.”

Later, the authors note, “All predictor variables mentioned above, except for symmetry (which might be called a pure perceptual property) seem to be at least indirectly dependent on the antecedent processing of gender; averageness and skin, as well as cues associated with personality distribution, seem all to be based on gender-specific norms and distributions, thus, a reliable distribution of such qualities requires the successful identification and processing of the respective gender.”

Woman Arrested for Falsely Accusing Trump Supporting Teens of Crime

New York law enforcement officials charged 19-year-old Adwoa Lewis with making a false punishable written statement on Saturday after she falsely accused four Trump-supporting teenagers of slashing her tires and leaving her a note that told her to “go home.”

Lewis gave Nassau County police a written statement on Friday claiming to be the victim of a hate crime which she said happened while “she was driving home in Long Island September 2 when four teens confronted her,” the Daily Mail reported.

Lewis claimed that the four teens yelled “Trump 2016!” before they told her that she “didn’t belong here.” . . .

Police determined throughout the course of an investigation that no confrontation ever happened as Lewis had alleged.

Police later said that Lewis admitted that she wrote the note herself and placed it on her car. (Read more from “Woman Arrested for Falsely Accusing Trump Supporting Teens of Crime” HERE)

Terrifying Plea in Midst of Florence Devastation Saves 3 Generations Trapped in Attic

By Conservative Tribune. Social media can be a major distraction in today’s world. Platforms like Facebook and Twitter seem to be magnets for trashy posts and endless arguments these days … But sometimes, the power of online communication ends up saving lives.

A last-resort Twitter post from one woman in North Carolina may have just prevented a tragedy. As flood waters rose during Hurricane Florence, Breeanna Perry used the social media platform to make sure that she, along with her mother and grandmother, could be found. . .

Perry said that she and her family had a difficult time evacuating because her mother is disabled and her grandmother is elderly. They made the decision to stay in their home to ride out the storm — and at first, everything seemed fine. . .

“I actually put my feet on the ground to go talk to my mom, and I start being shocked,” she said. “I realized there was water on the ground and we had to turn the power off and after that the water was just coming in within minutes.”

As her phone was running out of battery, Perry posted a tweet with her location and situation. (Read more from “Terrifying Plea in Midst of Florence Devastation Saves 3 Generations Trapped in Attic” HERE)

Woman Trapped by North Carolina Floodwaters Is Rescued Along With Her Mom and Grandmother After Tweeting a Desperate SOS From Their Attic

By Daily Mail. Local emergency services were swamped with other cases in the deadly hurricane that has claimed 15 lives in the state so far, but eventually her Tweet went viral and got the attention of the Cajun Warriors.

‘If anybody could help… our cars is under water and so is our house stuck in attic. Phone about to die please send help to [redacted], new bern. NC,’ Perry – who graduated high school last summer – wrote. The message has been retweeted over 11,000 times.

‘I sent the tweet, I didn’t expect it to go viral,’ ‘I came back in the house, we still had power, and everything, every body was okay, we were just in our rooms watching TV,’ Perry told Fox Denver 31. . .

Perry and her relatives were eventually rescued at 6am that morning and walked half an hour down the road to reach evacuation buses. Kite later shared that the family had been brought to safety. She Comes Forward: Kavanaugh Accuser Is Revealed

By Townhall. Well, it’s happened. The woman who alleges that Judge Bret Kavanaugh, along with another individual, attempted to sexually assault her while in high school has come forward. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) reportedly had a letter about this encounter since at least the summer, but sat on it. One could say that alone speaks to the credibility of the accusation. It was referred to the FBI later this week, and now the whole nomination process could be thrown into chaos. It’s messy. The whole situation could get ugly very soon and very fast, folks. Backward reels the mind to the Clarence Thomas hearings. The pressure is already building. If the person remained anonymous, that’s one thing, but she’s now come forward to The Washington Post. Her name is Christine Blasey Ford. She’s a research psychologist in northern California and a professor at Palo Alto University. Ford was a student at the all-girls Holton-Arms School in Bethesda, Maryland. The encounter occurred when Kavanaugh was 17-years-old. It was not revealed until 2012 during couple’s therapy, the Post obtained some of the notes from her therapist; Kavanaugh is not mentioned by name (via WaPo):

Speaking publicly for the first time, Ford said that one summer in the early 1980s, Kavanaugh and a friend — both “stumbling drunk,” Ford alleges — corralled her into a bedroom during a gathering of teenagers at a house in Montgomery County.

While his friend watched, she said, Kavanaugh pinned her to a bed on her back and groped her over her clothes, grinding his body against hers and clumsily attempting to pull off her one-piece bathing suit and the clothing she wore over it. When she tried to scream, she said, he put his hand over her mouth. . .

Ford said she told no one of the incident in any detail until 2012, when she was in couples therapy with her husband. The therapist’s notes, portions of which were provided by Ford and reviewed by The Washington Post, do not mention Kavanaugh’s name but say she reported that she was attacked by students “from an elitist boys’ school” who went on to become “highly respected and high-ranking members of society in Washington.” The notes say four boys were involved, a discrepancy Ford says was an error on the therapist’s part. Ford said there were four boys at the party but only two in the room.

Judge Jeanine: Feinstein’s Handling of Kavanaugh Letter Shows Complete Disregard for Truth and Justice

By Fox News. As a prosecutor, a superior court judge as well as elected district attorney. The way it works is you are innocent until you are proven guilty. Clear, unambiguous words etched in stone. Why would anyone ignore this truth, especially the ranking Democrat on Senate Judiciary, Senator Dianne Feinstein, is stunning. But you shouldn’t be surprised. The left is committed to the removal of a duly elected president, the destruction of our system of capitalism, and now an all-out assault on our system of justice.

To them you are guilty – guilty until proven innocent. But no one in all the years I’ve spent in courtrooms has ever been able to prove a negative. So forget the time-honored notions like due process, probable cause, beyond a reasonable doubt or a jury of your peers. Today, unsupported, uncorroborated, untested words, not facts are sufficient to convict not just in the court of public opinion, but in the esteemed hallowed halls of the United States Senate.

Forget the right to counsel, the ability to defend yourself, the right
confront your accuser or even cross-examine your accuser. Truth in this scheme is nothing more than collateral damage if a Republican is on the receiving end of an anonymous allegation.

So Dianne, let me see if I get this. Another Democrat, a congresswoman from California, no less, forwards a July letter to you containing a completely unsubstantiated claim that Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh while in high school tried to force himself on another high school student almost 40, I said 40 years ago.

Kavanaugh for anyone who even cares has categorically and unequivocally denied the allegation. So why are we just hearing being this now? Dianne, when you get the letter, what do you do to make sure it’s real? That the person is even real? Given the left’s penchant to buy fake dossiers, make up facts and collude with the media to sabotage even the President of the United States, forgive me if I think it’s all hogwash. Okay, you say quote, “The individual strongly requested confidentiality, declined to come forward or press the matter further. And I honored have that decision.” (Read more from “Judge Jeanine: Feinstein’s Handling of Kavanaugh Letter Shows Complete Disregard for Truth and Justice” HERE)

Pervert Alert: Sex Offender and Previously Twice Deported Illegal Alien Arrested Again in Texas

. . .On Thursday, United States Border Patrol agents announced the arrest of an illegal alien was previously twice deported and has been convicted of sexually assaulting a minor while in the United States.

According to San Antonio News 4, authorities arrested “42-year-old Mexican national Miguel Diaz-Cardoso Sept. 11 near Quemado for illegally entering the country” near the Eagle Pass border station. After running a background check on the illegal alien, authorities discovered that as recently as 2016 the man in question had been convicted for a sexual offense involving a minor and had previously been deported on two separate occasions.

In a press release, Del Rio Sector Chief Patrol Agent Felix Chavez said that, “Apprehensions like this highlight our border security efforts and the threats we face along the border.” . . .

Likewise, other border patrol agents arrested yet another sexual pervert on September 12 near the El Centro sector in Calexico, TX. According to a press release, that illegal alien had also been previously deported from the United States on Nov. 13, 2015 after being “convicted as a juvenile on April 13, 2003 in Minneapolis, Minn., for Criminal Sexual Conduct-First Degree Penetration Acts with a Child. He received one year in prison and a fine. The man also has a pending charge for failing to register as a predator offender in Sept. of 2009.” (Read more from “Pervert Alert: Sex Offender and Previously Twice Deported Illegal Alien Arrested Again in Texas” HERE)

North Carolina Police Chief Warns: ‘I See a Biblical Proportion Flood Event’

With the first blows of Hurricane Florence being felt along the East Coast, some local officials have begun describing the massive storm in apocalyptic terms.

Though wind speeds have decreased since it began rotating deep in the Atlantic Ocean, experts say a storm surge followed by heavy rains from the slow-moving hurricane could spell disaster for residents and property along its path.

Now a Category 1 hurricane, wind gusts in Wilmington, North Carolina, topped 100 mph early Friday. That marks the city’s strongest recorded wind in 60 years.

In an ABC News interview, Wilmington Police Chief Ralph Evangelous predicted the fallout would be “epic” in scale.

“I see a biblical proportion flood event that’s going to occur,” he said. “I see the beach communities being inundated with water and destruction that will be pretty, pretty epic in nature.”

As NBC News reported, power was out for nearly 500,000 customers in the affected area.

While North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper confirmed no fatalities had been reported in connection with the storm, he cautioned that the state would continue dealing with dangerous conditions for some time.

“This is an uninvited brute that just won’t leave,” he said.

One North Carolina city had already received about 150 reports of locals in need of rescue as of Thursday night.

Despite the fact that New Bern had been under a mandatory evacuation order since Tuesday, officials tweeted that emergency rescue teams had assembled in an attempt to reach those trapped after staying behind.

According to one Craven County official, the risks associated with attempting to stick it out through the aftermath of the storm are numerous and severe.

“I would say that certain areas of New Bern are very desperate,” Amber Parker said. “There are people that can be trapped in water, in vehicles, on roofs. That’s just the situation for anyone.”

Though rescue teams had been assembled, several areas of town were inaccessible due to flooding as well as fallen trees and power lines.

“They just have to wait until the weather conditions permit them to make it here safely,” Parker said. “I don’t have the follow-up information on all of the calls.”

In some cases, the rescue operation relies on neighbor helping neighbor, she said.

“There are some that I know we have made it to and others where they’ve been rescued by other agencies or individuals — private citizens who have rescued some people.”

New Bern Mayor Dana Outlaw echoed the concerns of other local officials.

“It’s very unsafe,” she said. “I immediately spoke with the police chief and we decided we need a 24-hour curfew.” (For more from the author of “North Carolina Police Chief Warns: ‘I See a Biblical Proportion Flood Event’” please click HERE)

Chelsea Clinton: ‘as a Deeply Religious Person’ I Believe It’s ‘Unchristian’ to End Legal Abortion

In response to a question about how she stayed optimistic about her fight to keep abortion legal, Clinton replied that “every day I make the moral choice to be optimistic that my efforts and my energies, particularly when I’m fortunate enough to be in partnership with fellow travelers, hopefully will make a difference.”

“And when I think about all of the statistics — that are painful — of what women are confronting,” she continued, “today in our country, and what even more women confronted pre-Roe and how many women died and how many more women were maimed because of unsafe abortion practices, we just can’t go back to that.”

“That’s unconscionable to me, and also, I’m sure that this will unleash another wave of hate in my direction, but as a deeply religious person, it’s also unchristian to me,” she concluded.

The former first daughter mentioned that she faced a lot of hatred last month for linking the legalization of abortion to economic improvement. (Read more from “Chelsea Clinton: ‘as a Deeply Religious Person’ I Believe It’s ‘Unchristian’ to End Legal Abortion” HERE)

Sixty-Five Women Who Went to High School With Brett Kavanaugh Write Their Own Letter About His Character

Five dozen women who went to high school with Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh have written a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley and Ranking Member Dianne Feinstein backing his character.

“We are women who have known Brett Kavanaugh for more than 35 years and knew him while he attended high school between 1979 and 1983. For the entire time we have known Brett Kavanaugh, he has behaved honorably and treated women with respect. We strongly believe it is important to convey this information to the Committee at this time,” the letter states. “Brett attended Georgetown Prep, an all-boys high school in Rockville, Maryland. He was an outstanding student and athlete with a wide circle of friends. Almost all of us attended all girls high schools in the area. We knew Brett well through social events, sports, church, and various other activities. Many of us have remained close friends with him and his family over the years.”

“Through the more than 35 years we have known him, Brett has stood out for his friendship, character, and integrity. In particular, he has always treated women with decency and respect. That was true when he was in high school, and it has remained true to this day,” the letter continues. “The signers of this letter hold a broad range of political views. Many of us are not lawyers, but we know Brett Kavanaugh as a person. And he has always been a good person.”

The letter comes one day after Senator Feinstein referred Kavanaugh to the FBI for investigation after receiving a letter from an unnamed woman. In a statement released by Feinstein Thursday, the Democrat implied wrongdoing by Kavanaugh without offering any evidence or transparency. Storm Evacuees Get Huge Offer From NASCAR Speedways

Pieces of hurricane evacuee Melody Rawson’s South Carolina life are now spread out on a grassy field, a slab of concrete and a picnic table at a campground outside Atlanta Motor Speedway.

They include two dogs, a cockatoo in its cage, a couple of coolers with sandwich meat and the mangled remains of a tire that blew out at midnight as Rawson and her companions ferried it all to the relative safety of Georgia.

The speedway has opened its campgrounds to Southerners escaping Hurricane Florence. It’s one of many impromptu shelters that have sprung up across the region as a refuge for the evacuees.

Rawson was among the first few who arrived early Wednesday at the speedway south of Atlanta. Among her family members is her partner Lisa and her 17-year-old son who has spina bifida and uses a wheelchair.

“We’re thankful for this generosity of free services, and we hope to have something left when we get home,” Rawson told The Associated Press. “We live in a first-floor apartment in Myrtle Beach, so you can’t take the chance, you know?”

More than 10 million people across the region were under hurricane watches or warnings, and hundreds of thousands have been ordered to evacuate.

As of Tuesday, more than 1.7 million people in the Carolinas and Virginia were warned to flee. More than 300,000 people had already left the South Carolina coast, South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster said Wednesday.

Gas shortages and jammed freeways loomed for evacuees seeking safety in far-away shelters, campgrounds and hotels. In North Carolina, one in 10 gas stations in Wilmington and Raleigh-Durham had no gas by midday Wednesday.

Colin Richards, a U.S. Navy diver based on Virginia’s coast, said he and his family planned to head for Grand Rapids, Michigan, where Richards is from. He was among the military personnel leaving coastal Virginia and North Carolina ahead of the hurricane. The 28-year-old was mostly concerned for his daughter who is one month and two days old.

“It’s very simple,” he said Wednesday in Norfolk. “We don’t want to live without power with a newborn.”

In Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, Phoebe Tesh paused while loading her car to sip a glass of wine on the steps of the house where she and her husband rent an apartment.

Tesh said Wednesday that the couple had been making trips back and forth to carry valuables to her parents’ house on the mainland in Wilmington, where they planned to ride out the storm.

About a half-dozen campers had arrived early Wednesday at Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Georgia, but racetrack officials expected many more once word got out that evacuees could camp there. Equipped with restrooms and showers, along with power, water, and sewers, the racetrack’s campgrounds can accommodate about 5,000 people.

Opening up the racetrack’s campgrounds is “just simply the thing to do,” Atlanta Motor Speedway President Ed Clark said Wednesday.

“It takes a little bit of that worry away when you leave home and don’t know where you’re headed to,” Clark added. “You can imagine the storm is coming, you call three campgrounds and they’re all full. Where do you go?”

The Georgia speedway has hosted storm evacuees before, along with pets and, in one case, three cages of chickens, Clark said. Last year, as Hurricane Irma threatened Florida, the speedway hosted at least 100 evacuees.

Bristol Motor Speedway, near the Tennessee-Virginia line, and Charlotte Motor Speedway in North Carolina have also opened their campgrounds to people fleeing Hurricane Florence.

Georgia state parks are also welcoming evacuees from Florence and is offering some camping at no charge for them. (For more from the author of “Storm Evacuees Get Huge Offer From NASCAR Speedways” please click HERE)

Horror: Numerous People Killed in a California Shooting Spree Last Night

There was another tragedy in California last night. A spree shooter shot and killed five people, including his wife, and then committed suicide. Authorities say this was not a random shooting, that all of the victims are connected with this senseless act of violence, and that the spree arose from a domestic dispute (via NBC News):

Six people, including the gunman, were dead following a shooting spree in Bakersfield on Wednesday that authorities believe was an act of domestic violence, Kern County sheriff’s officials said.

It was not clear why the man went on the rampage, but there may be a connection between the shooter and the victims — all described as adults, Sheriff Donny Youngblood told reporters.

Sheriff’s officials said there were multiple crime scenes, including at the trucking business and near a gun seller called Bear Mountain Sports. The area of the shooting spree was in unincorporated Bakersfield, which is patrolled by the sheriff’s department.

Youngblood said detectives believe the gun store is not connected to the spree. A victim happened to be in the area and was chased around the building before being shot, he said.
