Dem Governor Becomes Stuttering Mess As He’s Asked If Boys Can Become Girls

Democratic California Gov. Gavin Newsom repeatedly stuttered as The Daily Wire co-founder Ben Shapiro pressed him on whether boys can become girls during a Thursday episode of “This Is Gavin Newsom.”

Newsom has enabled California schools to discreetly transition children without their parents’ knowledge or consent. Shapiro called out Newsom on his podcast for being unwilling to say “whether boys can become girls,” prompting a non-answer from the governor.

“Yeah. I just don’t, well, I think, uh, I’m for the grace of God,” Newsom said. “Yeah.”

“I appreciate the sympathy … anybody who’s suffering with any sort of mental or physical condition, that’s terrible,” Shapiro responded.

Newsom responded with a platitude and more stammering.

“I mean, I think it’s been, it’s been the case for generations, for, in time immemorial. I, you know, God bless. I just, I don’t know how,” the governor said before Shapiro cut him off. (Read more from “Dem Governor Becomes Stuttering Mess As He’s Asked If Boys Can Become Girls” HERE)

Cancer-Stricken Kids Beg Bernie Sanders to Pass Life-Saving Bill — After the Senator Was Branded ‘Evil’ for Blocking It

Jacob Knudsen would give anything to be an ordinary college freshman. . .

“There is something currently in my lung, and there’s a 50-50 chance that it’s cancer,” the “panicked” 18-year-old California native told The Post ahead of diagnostic scans. “I’m willing to bleed, I’m willing to lose limbs, I’m willing to lose organs, I’m willing to do anything just to survive.”

Knudsen was diagnosed with osteosarcoma when he was 12, and has since endured 21 surgeries and countless, grueling rounds of chemotherapy and radiation after tumors were subsequently discovered in his lungs, on a kidney and a lymph node. . .

Amid the anxiety over whether illness remains lurking in his body, Knudsen is pushing for the passage of the Mikaela Naylon Give Kids a Chance Act — a bipartisan bill named after his friend, a fellow osteosarcoma patient and advocate who died late last year at 16. . .

Last month, the bill — designed to allow pediatric cancer patients to participate in clinical trials and to ensure them access to key treatments — passed unanimously in the House.

Shockingly, when the bill moved to the Senate, it was opposed by Sen. Bernie Sanders, who demanded a quid pro quo be attached for the funding of other efforts, such as community health centers. Actor Fights AI Scammers by Trademarking His Likeness & ‘Alright Alright Alright’ Catchphrase

Actor Matthew McConaughey has taken a stand against artificial intelligence by trademarking himself so he has recourse to sue deepfake makers.

McConaughey becomes the first actor to take this legal move as a way to counter having his likeness and voice used without his or his estate’s permission, Gulf News reported.

The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office says that McConaughey has field for eight trademark applications covering his public persona including video, audio, and even his well-known catch phrase, “Alright, alright, alright.” The application included audio clips, photos, and video of him simply staring straight at the camera.

McConaughey hopes that the trademarks can prevent unauthorized use of his persona to lay claim to use of his image before someone else does.

U.S. law does cover “right of publicity,” which protects against use of someone’s face and voice without consent. But enforcement of the rules can vary from one jurisdiction to the next. Trademark laws, though, would offer much stronger protection. (Read more from “Actor Fights AI Scammers by Trademarking His Likeness & ‘Alright Alright Alright’ Catchphrase” HERE)

Court: State Can’t Force Christian Mission To Hire Non-Christians

Most legal experts, court watchers, and even casual observers would not likely characterize the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit as a bastion of conservative jurisprudence. But, in a recent decision, a panel of that court unanimously rejected the state of Washington’s attempt to force a religious ministry to hire employees whose beliefs contradict those of the ministry.

The right of religious organizations to hire only employees who are aligned with and live out their religious beliefs is a foundational tenet of our Constitution’s protection of religious liberty. The free exercise of religion by individuals, churches, and other faith-based ministries is essential to our founders’ vision of ordered liberty and the bedrock upon which our free civil society rests.

Yakima Union Gospel Mission has served its community for nearly a century. The mission has provided shelter for thousands of people, distributed hundreds of thousands of meals, and assisted countless homeless individuals through its outreach services. This service embodies the vision of America’s founders regarding the role of religion in our nation. When people of faith are free to live it out in their communities, everyone benefits — the homeless are sheltered, the hungry are fed, and the suffering are cared for by their neighbors, who view them as fellow image bearers of God.

Alliance Defending Freedom represented the mission in a lawsuit against Washington state officials who enforce the Washington Law Against Discrimination, which requires the mission to hire individuals who do not agree with or live out its religious beliefs. The state Supreme Court gutted the WLAD’s religious employer exemption, thereby affecting all religious organizations in Washington state, including Yakima Union Gospel Mission.

The mission exists because of its Christian calling; it strives to serve the community with the love of Christ, to share the Gospel with everyone it encounters, and to be a haven of like-minded believers where discipleship and fellowship can flourish. The mission believes in the dignity of all people and wants to provide opportunities for the underserved homeless and needy population in Yakima. One of the many services the organization provides is the New Life Recovery Program. The year-long program helps people find the root cause of their issues and points them to lasting solutions based on a solid biblical foundation. Dilbert Creator Scott Adams Announces He Will Convert To Christianity Before He Dies

“Dilbert” creator Scott Adams announced on his podcast “Real Coffee With Scott Adams” that he plans on converting to Christianity before he passes away.

Adams announced that he has prostate cancer on his podcast on May 15, 2025, a condition he said he has “essentially zero” chance of recovering from on his Thursday show. Adams said on his Sunday that his Christian friends and followers have implored him to convert to Christianity before he passes away, and that despite being a non-believer for a long time, he plans to do so.

“I have not been a believer,” said Adams. “But I also have respect for any Christian who goes out of their way to try to convert me, because how would I believe you wouldn’t believe your own religion if you’re not trying to convert me?”

The cartoonist added that “out of great respect” for the people who have tried to convince him to become a Christian, that he plans on converting. As for any skepticism he may still have, he said it will be “instantly answered” if he wakes up in heaven.

“I’m now convinced that the risk-reward is completely smart,” Adams said to his Christian listeners. “If it turns out that there’s nothing there, I’ve lost nothing, but I’ve respected your wishes and I like doing that. If it turns out there is something there and the Christian model is the closest to it, I win.” (Read more from “Dilbert Creator Scott Adams Announces He Will Convert To Christianity Before He Dies” HERE)

Trans Gymgoer Caught ‘Masturbating’ in Women’s Bathroom at California Planet Fitness

Disturbing viral video shows the moment a transgender gymgoer appears to be masturbating in a stall inside the women’s bathroom at a Planet Fitness in California.

Planet Fitness patron, Grace Hutson, claims she encountered the ordeal while she was using the female restroom at the gym’s Concord location, just outside San Francisco, last May — but the footage only exploded online over the weekend.

The clip, which she originally posted on TikTok, showed the shadow of an unidentified person appearing to perform the sex act on themselves.

“At the end of the day, whether you’re transgender or not, you should not be stroking your s–t in the women’s bathroom,” Huston said in a TikTok video posted late Sunday after the footage started going viral. . .

The young woman alerted the front desk staff at the time, but the employees didn’t know how to handle the situation, she said.

Her boyfriend eventually stepped in to confront the trans gymgoer. (Read more from “Trans Gymgoer Caught ‘Masturbating’ in Women’s Bathroom at California Planet Fitness” HERE)

The Biggest Parental Rights Fights Of 2025 — And What Parents Face Next

Parents faced dozens of challenges in 2025, from school policies hiding details about their own kids from them to technology taking over the classroom. Here are some of the biggest parental rights fights of the year, and a look at what parents can expect next in 2026.

American Parents Coalition (APC) is releasing a new guide for parents as they prepare to once more take on the bad policies still pervading schools as we head into 2026. In the organization’s latest Lookout, first shared with the Daily Caller News Foundation, the parental advocacy group outlines 2025’s biggest wins for parents — and what they should keep an eye on next year.

Since taking office, President Donald Trump has signed several executive orders protecting children, including Ending Radical Indoctrination in K-12 Schooling, Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports and Protecting Children from Chemical and Surgical Mutilation. These orders have helped safeguard against radical school policies to some extent, though many administrators and state officials have continued to defy federal directives, instead finding new ways to continue their radical policies or just maintaining them openly.

Notably, the Department of Justice (DOJ) sued Maine after Democrat Gov. Janet Mills refused several requests to comply with the president’s ban on men competing in women’s sports. The DCNF has also exclusively reported on several universities and school districts facing federal complaints after secretly admitting they will not follow the directives.

In response to such offenses, APC launched an interactive map logging these incidents for parents to stay up-to-date as battles over implementation, and refusals to comply, continue in 2026.

Parents won a major victory at the Supreme Court in June. Mahmoud v. Taylor secured the right to opt children out of lessons with content that is inappropriate or conflicts with a family’s religious beliefs.

Despite the win, parents still face a powerful opponent: teachers unions. While these groups claim to have kids’ best interests at heart, in reality, they more often try to shield classroom activities from parents. Some of these unions have sued the Trump administration in order to keep left-wing ideology embedded in schools and prevent the dismantling of the education department. Others have confidently claimed that “all children” in the country “belong” to them. (Read more from “The Biggest Parental Rights Fights Of 2025 — And What Parents Face Next” HERE)

Teen Shoots Parents, Killing Mother, in Day-After-Christmas Horror

A teen allegedly shot both of his parents, killing his mother, outside their Pennsylvania home the day after Christmas, according to authorities.

Jarrod Noll, 18, was nabbed in West Virginia on Saturday after authorities launched a massive manhunt with search dogs after the attack in the town of New Freeport on Friday afternoon, according to the Pennsylvania State Police.

Cops were called to the home, just north of the West Virginia border, and discovered Noll’s mother and father with gunshot wounds, police said.

Noll’s mother, who has not yet been identified, was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later pronounced dead, cops said.

His father was taken to a hospital and has since been released in stable condition, authorities added.

The teen’s younger siblings were home when the shooting took place, though he allegedly fired the shots outside the home. The children are now in the custody of a relative, CBS News reported. (Read more from “Teen Shoots Parents, Killing Mother, in Day-After-Christmas Horror” HERE)

Report: Dept. of Veterans Affairs Orders End to Abortions, Abortion Counseling at Facilities

In a sweeping reversal to the Biden administration’s pro-abortion agenda, the Trump administration has barred the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) from aborting the unborn babies of veterans and their dependents.

The restriction follows a memo from Joshua Craddock, deputy assistant attorney general of the Department of Justice’s Office of Legal Counsel (OLC) on December 18 to the VA stating that the department is not allowed to perform abortions under any provision of the law, the Hill reported.

The memo revoked a Biden-era OLC opinion that allowed the VA to provide abortions and abortion counseling to pregnant veterans and their dependents. The pro-abortion Biden administration promulgated a rule in September 2022 allowing veterans and covered dependents to obtain taxpayer-funded abortions in cases of rape and incest and to protect the life or health of the pregnant woman, as well as abortion counseling. The Biden administration issued the rule in response to the Supreme Court’s Dobbs decision, which overturned Roe v. Wade, a 1973 ruling that had invented a constitutional right to abortion.

Screenshots purportedly obtained by the outlet of a separate internal VA memo, dated December 22 and sent to the leaders of the department’s 18 regional integrated service networks, states that the agency “must comply” with the OLC’s memo and that the VA will no longer provide abortions or abortion counseling “effective immediately.”

The internal memo also notes that nothing about the VA’s policy “prohibit[s] providing care to pregnant women in life-threatening circumstances, including treatment for ectopic pregnancies or miscarriages.” (Read more from “Report: Dept. of Veterans Affairs Orders End to Abortions, Abortion Counseling at Facilities” HERE)

Man Skips Holiday Reunion Because Of Insane Tax Code

Plenty of obstacles come between people and their families on the holidays: Illness, politics, work.

For Mark Klein, the obstacle was taxes. . .

Klein, a tax lawyer at Hodgson Russ, lives in Buffalo, New York. He “keeps track of the number of days he spends in Manhattan through an app on his phone, meticulously ensuring he does not surpass 183 days — the threshold at which individuals are required to pay city taxes,” the Financial Times writes. A holiday trip would’ve put him over that threshold.

Klein advises “some of the country’s wealthiest residents.” He reportedly told the Financial Times that “some of his clients fly into New Jersey and wait on one side of the George Washington Bridge, which connects to New York, until just after midnight to avoid triggering another day in the state.”

Christian Burgos, the director of tax services at Pollack and Brant, offered some unpleasant truth.

“If you’re not careful with how much time you’re spending in a particular jurisdiction throughout the year, once you’re reaching the latter half of the tax year you really have to be more mindful,” Burgos told the outlet. “There might be birthdays or family events that you have to skip out on. Otherwise, you’re going to trip that wire.” (Read more from “Man Skips Holiday Reunion Because Of Insane Tax Code” HERE)
