GOP Lawmaker Accused Of Affair With Aide Who Later Set Herself On Fire

Republican Texas Rep. Tony Gonzales is accused of having a romantic relationship with a former aide who died last year after setting herself on fire.

In the months before her death, Santos-Aviles sent a message to another Gonzales staffer saying that she had an affair with the congressman, according to a San Antonio Express-News report.

A former employee in Gonzales’ district office who worked closely with Santos-Aviles said she confided in him about the relationship in 2024. He claimed she became deeply depressed after her husband learned of the affair and Gonzales allegedly ended contact with her. The former staffer also provided the San Antonio Express-News with a screenshot of a text from Santos-Aviles in which she referenced having an “affair with our boss.”

The staffer, who spoke to the outlet on the condition of anonymity out of fear of retaliation, criticized Gonzales’ office for failing to act, saying he alerted the congressman’s district director months before Santos-Aviles’ death that he was worried about her well-being. He described her as his “best friend” and said their families were close.

REPORT: Trans Wrestler Accused of Assaulting Female Wrestler Leaves Tournament

A transgender-identifying wrestler who has been accused of assaulting a female wrestler in December allegedly dropped out of a state tournament, according to a report.

“BREAKING: The biological boy accused of assaulting wrestler Kallie Keeler has just been REMOVED from the bracket for the state tournament,” Brandi Kruse wrote in a post on X. “Unclear who made the call. He was replaced by the 8th-place finisher from the qualifying tournament, an actual girl. HUGE VICTORY!”

Breitbart News reported on Friday that the Department of Education started an investigation after 16-year-old Kallie Keeler, who attends Rogers High School, located in Puyallup, Washington, claimed a biological boy allegedly “tried to push his fingers into her vagina” during a match:

Kallie Keeler, 16, a sophomore wrestler at Rogers High School in Puyallup, Washington, claims that she was assaulted during a December 6 girls wrestling match against Emerald Ridge High School when her opponent — a teen boy who identifies as a girl — tried to push his fingers into her vagina during competition.

“I was just kind of like, what? What the heck?” a shocked Keeler exclaimed. “I didn’t really know what to do or how to handle that situation. I just wanted the match to be over.”

Black Woman Forced To Shut Down Restaurant After Leftists Allegedly Won’t Stop Harassing Her

The owner of an Ethiopian-Israeli restaurant in Harlem says she has been forced to close her establishment for regular dining due to alleged harassment and antisemitism.

Beejhy Barhany, owner of the Tsion Cafe, told the New York Post that hate directed at her restaurant intensified after the Oct. 7, 2023, attack on Israel, which prompted the country’s war with Hamas. Barhany also told the outlet that the alleged hate and harassment have left her “demoralized.”

“I answered the phone once at the restaurant and the caller said, ‘You dirty Jew. We should erase you from the map,’” Barhany said.

“I am demoralized and heartbroken that there are so many bigots out there. It’s mind blowing. We can’t handle the burden anymore,” she continued.

Barhany said she has been forced to close her restaurant for regular dining and now offers only group bookings made in advance, according to the Jewish Telegraphic Agency’s Jewish Week. She has reimagined her business as a place for experiences that are culturally immersive. Is Your Baby Formula Safe? Florida Finds Heavy Metals in 16 of 24 Top Brands

Most parents who purchase baby formula trust that if the product is on the supermarket shelf, it must be safe for their child, but according to findings from the Healthy Florida First initiative, many of the top formula brands tested positive for heavy metals.

The state-led program, spearheaded by Governor Ron DeSantis (R), first lady Casey DeSantis, and Surgeon General Dr. Joseph Ladapo through the Florida Department of Health, aims to build a healthier Florida through independent testing and publication of contaminants in everyday foods.

On a recent episode of “Conservative Review with Daniel Horowitz,” Horowitz interviewed Casey DeSantis about what Florida’s health initiative uncovered about 24 top-selling baby formulas and what parents can do to ensure that their children are receiving the best nutrition.

A Consumer Reports investigation released in March 2025 found potentially harmful levels of heavy metals, including arsenic and lead, in some of the 41 baby formulas tested. Around the same time, HHS and the FDA announced Operation Stork Speed, which increased testing for heavy metals and contaminants, reviewed nutrient standards, and strengthened oversight of infant formula safety.

NBC Apologizes for Calling Female Skier ‘She’

The Olympic skier at the center of a “misgendering” scandal has not publicly claimed to be offended. But one media outlet is apologizing profusely anyway.

Swedish skier Elis Lundholm competed in freestyle skiing women’s moguls on Wednesday but believes she is a man.

According to the Associated Press, Lundholm was “assigned female at birth and identifies as a man.”

However, the Swedish ski team also told the outlet the athlete does not take any hormonal treatments and has not had any surgeries.

While Lundholm finished 25th in the competition, NBC accidentally ensured her broader coverage by allegedly misgendering her. Transgender Dropout Who Killed Family, 6 at Former School Posted About Dream of Becoming ‘Petite’ Woman

The transgender high school dropout who slaughtered his mom and stepbrother before gunning down six others at his former school in Canada had whined online about his 6-foot-tall frame making it impossible to live out his dream as a “petite” woman.

Jesse Van Rootselaar, 18, aired his grievances about transitioning as well as his obsession for guns in a series of online posts in the years before unleashing hell at Tumbler Ridge Secondary School on Tuesday, the Telegraph reported.

“Do I have a good build type for HRT [hormone replacement therapy]?” Van Rootselaar wrote in a since-deleted post on a trans-community forum.

“Any advice is appreciated, should I put on weight or anything? Work out?”

In one post from March 2020, Van Rootselaar, who described himself as “MtF” — or male-to-female — wrote: “I’m pre-HRT 15yo, I’m super skinny, so that sometimes makes me feel kinda good!”

On Jan. 30, a New York State jury awarded a 22-year-old woman, Fox Varian, $2 million in damages for her 2019 “gender-affirming” double mastectomy, which she came to deeply regret. She was 16 years old at the time.

This settlement against Varian’s psychologist and plastic surgeon is the first legal judgment imposed upon those performing such mutilations. In court testimony, Varian explained that following the removal of her healthy breasts, “I immediately had a thought that this was wrong, and it couldn’t be true,” adding, “Shame, I felt shame. It’s hard to face that you are disfigured for life.”

The Epoch Times reported that Varian’s mother, Claire Deacon, was worried “her daughter would commit suicide if she didn’t get” the procedure and told the court that her daughter’s psychologist certainly “increased that worry.” This represents the deeply deceptive, “Would you rather have a dead daughter or a live son?” emotional blackmail.

This judgment has sent shockwaves through the medical and psychological community peddling this lie. They know more are coming. Independent reporter Benjamin Ryan has documented 27 other detransitioner lawsuits filed to date. And Manhattan Institute research from 2017 to 2023 found that a conservative minimum of 5,200 U.S. teen girls had their breasts removed, believing it would solve their transgender confusion.

This industry’s mounting fears were demonstrated days later on Feb. 3, when the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) issued a new “Position Statement on Gender Surgery for Children and Adolescents,” which concluded, “[T]here is insufficient evidence demonstrating a favorable risk-benefit ratio for the pathway of gender-related endocrine and surgical interventions in children and adolescents.” This is because “systematic reviews and evidence reassessment have subsequently identified limitations in study quality, consistency, and follow-up alongside emerging evidence of treatment complications and potential harms.” Of course, the U.K.’s systematic Cass Review arrived at this fact in April 2024. People Are Getting an Old-Timey Sailors’ Disease on GLP-1s

Top dietitians in Australia this week are waving a red flag about an unforeseen impact of the GLP-1 class of weight-loss drugs, including Ozempic, Wegovy and Mounjaro.

In a new systematic review of existing research, led by professor Clare Collins of the Newcastle School of Health Sciences in New South Wales, Australia, it appears that very few global trials of the drugs have taken into consideration what and how much patients are eating while using them.

This, experts have said, means many patients have been functionally malnourished — sometimes developing serious vitamin deficiencies like scurvy.

Part of what makes these drugs so effective for weight loss and diabetes management is their ability to suppress appetite. But not eating, or not eating enough of the right stuff, is simply not a sustainable path forward for anyone, regardless of whether or not they’re using a GLP-1. And dietitians are calling for more oversight.

A California prosecutor, who tried Michael Jackson for molesting a child cancer survivor, remains adamant the King Of Pop was a pedophile.

The former senior deputy district attorney for Santa Barbara appears on camera in a new TV show explaining why he felt Jackson should have served twenty years for abusing ex child bed companion Gavin Arvizo in the 2005 trial.

Adamant Ron Zonen, one of the lead prosecutors for Santa Barbara County, is convinced MJ was a molester and that Arvizo had told the truth.

Zonen doubled down to Channel 4’s upcoming show The Trial on his assertion that the Thriller star “was a pedophile who could abuse children almost with impunity.”

In court Jackson was cleared of 14 charges connected to abuse of Arvizo, but Zonen revealed his belief that the musician had abused before 2003 which was not included in their charge list. New Study Looks at How Covid Vaccine Affected Fertility, Miscarriage During Pandemic

. . .After a brief baby bump early in the COVID-19 pandemic, birth rates in the US and other wealthy countries dropped as the public health emergency eased.

That sudden decline sparked online speculation that the rollout of mRNA COVID-19 vaccines could have played a role, with critics suggesting the shots may have hurt fertility or made it harder to carry a pregnancy to term.

To test those claims, researchers in Sweden — a nation that also saw births fall later in the pandemic — decided to dig into the data.

They analyzed health information from nearly 60,000 women ages 18 to 45 living in Region Jönköping County in southern Sweden.

About 75% of the women were vaccinated against COVID-19 between 2021 and 2024, and 97% of those shots were mRNA vaccines.
