Elon Musk Had Affair With Wife of Google Co-Founder, Prompting Divorce and Quashing Tech Billionaires’ Long Friendship

Elon Musk had an affair with the wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin, according to a new report. The extramarital affair allegedly caused the couple to get divorced and ended a long friendship between the two tech billionaires.

The Wall Street Journal reported on Saturday that Musk “engaged in a brief affair” with Brin’s wife in December, citing people familiar with the situation. The reported affair between Musk and Nicole Shanahan began during the Art Basel art show in Miami last December.

The alleged affair took place around the same time that Musk broke up with singer Claire Elise Boucher – best known as her stage name Grimes. Musk had two children with Grimes, including a daughter who was born via a surrogate in the same month as the alleged affair.

The month prior to the affair, Musk had twins with Shivon Zilis – a senior executive at Musk’s Neuralink company. In all, Musk has fathered 10 children with three women. One of his children who he had with Canadian author Justine Wilson died of sudden infant death syndrome at 10 weeks old in 2002.

At the time of the affair, Brin and Shanahan were separated but still living together. The couple allegedly were having issues revolving around COVID-19 and caring for their toddler daughter. ‘This Is Satanism’: New York Times Gets Skewered for Suggesting There Is a ‘Time and Place’ for Cannibalism

The New York Times – the so-called “newspaper of record” – advocated that “cannibalism has a time and a place,” and that current media suggests that now is the time to eat your fellow human. The eye-raising article was flayed on Twitter for even suggesting that people eat people, and many commentators reckoned that the New York Times writer put her foot in her mouth.

The piece was written by Alex Beggs – a freelance writer and “regular contributor at Bon Appétit, where she reviews the latest Trader Joe’s products, writes the magazine’s questionable etiquette column, and regularly covers cookbooks,” according to journalist database Muck Rack.

The article titled “A Taste for Cannibalism?” argues that cannibalism is having a moment right now because of “some recent stomach-churning books, and on television and film screens.” . . .

Writer Emmanuel Rincón: “The New York Times, the progressive media in general and the left, are promoters of all aberrant causes of humanity. Pedophilia, child indoctrination and now cannibalism. Sick.”

CEO Zack Kanter: “A zero sum worldview, irrational fear of overpopulation, and hatred of success will inevitably lead NYT journos to the literal conclusion of ‘eat the rich.’” (Read more from “‘This Is Satanism’: New York Times Gets Skewered for Suggesting There Is a ‘Time and Place’ for Cannibalism” HERE)

Jury Finds Bannon Guilty in Trial Over Contempt of Jan 6 Committee

By The Post Millennial. Former Trump advisor Steve Bannon was found guilty by a DC court of contempt of Congress after defying a subpoena from the House’s January 6 committee.

Bannon had pleaded not guilty to the charges. He faces a minimum sentence of 30 days in jail. Sentencing will take place on October 21.

The committee had wanted documents from Bannon because he had been in contact with Trump while the events on the Capitol took place on that day.

Bannon had argued that the documents requested by the committee were under protection under former President Trump’s claims of executive privilege, as they were the subject of a pending court battle.

Steve Bannon’s Contempt Conviction Hailed by Jan. 6 Committee

By NBC News. . .David Schoen, one of Bannon’s lawyers said outside the courthouse the verdict would not stand. “This is round one,” Schoen said. “You will see this case reversed on appeal.”

Likewise, Bannon himself said, “We may have lost the battle here today; we’re not going to lose this war.”

He thanked the jurors for their service and said he had only one disappointment — “and that is the gutless members of that show trial committee, the J-6 committee didn’t have the guts to come down here and testify.”

Prosecutors were just as firm on the other side of the verdict: “The subpoena to Stephen Bannon was not an invitation that could be rejected or ignored,” Matthew Graves, the U.S. attorney in Washington, said in a statement. “Mr. Bannon had an obligation to appear before the House Select Committee to give testimony and provide documents. His refusal to do so was deliberate, and now a jury has found that he must pay the consequences.” (Read more from “Steve Bannon’s Contempt Conviction Hailed by Jan. 6 Committee” HERE)

Trump Says Pence Refusing to Overturn Election Led to Russia-Ukraine War

Former President Donald Trump has argued that the Russian invasion of Ukraine “never would have happened” if former Vice President Mike Pence had overturned President Joe Biden’s 2020 election win.

Trump said in a statement on Thursday night just before a prime-time hearing of the House Select Committee to Investigate the January 6 Attack on the U.S. Capitol that Pence’s unwillingness to block Biden’s win on the day of the riot was responsible for everything from the war, to inflation, high gas prices and the botched withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan. The former president also shared the statement to his Truth Social account as the hearing was airing live.

Trump’s statement said that Pence had told him “and everybody else” that “there was nothing he could do about the Electoral Vote Count–it was etched in stone.” Trump argued that Pence was incorrect since “the Democrats and RINOs,” or Republicans in name only, were currently “working so hard to make sure there is nothing a VP can do” to change an election outcome. . .

“We would have no inflation, inexpensive gasoline, be energy dominant, have no war or largescale death with Russia and Ukraine (this conflict never would have happened), would have left Afghanistan on same timetable, but with dignity and strength,” Trump said. “And would have kept Bagram Air Base, not had dead soldiers, taken out all American hostages, and would not have given the Taliban $85 billion worth of first-class military equipment.” (Read more from “Trump Says Pence Refusing to Overturn Election Led to Russia-Ukraine War” HERE)

Voters Say ‘Absolutely Necessary’ for Candidate to Hold Same Views on Guns, Abortion for Support

Most likely voters say it is “absolutely” necessary for a candidate to share their views on a variety of issues — including guns and abortion — in order to have their support, an Echelon Insights survey released this week found.

The survey asked respondents, “When you are deciding how to vote, how important is it that a candidate share your views on each of the following issues?”

The survey listed twelve specific topics, including education policy, climate change, abortion, immigration, and guns.

Most voters said it is “absolutely” necessary that a candidate shares their views on topics such as guns (62 percent) and abortion (54 percent). Sixty percent said it is “absolutely” necessary that a candidate shares a voter’s view on healthcare, and 56 percent said the same of taxes. Another 56 percent said the same of national security and the military, 54 percent said the same of government spending, and 51 percent said the same of immigration policy. Melania Trump Breaks Silence on Jan. 6: ‘False Narrative’

Former first lady Melania Trump released a statement blasting her former press secretary for creating a “false narrative” surrounding Jan. 6, 2021.

Stephanie Grisham last month tweeted an alleged text exchange with Trump on Jan. 6, when the then-press secretary asked the first lady if she wanted to officially condemn the Capitol attack.

“Ms. Grisham was not in the White House on January 6, and her behavior in her role as Chief of Staff ultimately amounts to dereliction of duty,” Trump said in her statement, posted Friday on Truth Social.

“Traditionally, the First Lady’s Chief of Staff provides detailed briefings surrounding our Nation’s important issues. In fact, Ms. Grisham failed to provide insight and information into the events surrounding January 6 as she had abandoned her post in Washington, D.C. . .

“And while Ms. Grisham’s behavior is disappointing, it is not surprising or an isolated incident. This is not the first time a former staffer has tried to maintain relevancy and profit by using my name to create a false narrative.” (Read more from “Melania Trump Breaks Silence on Jan. 6: ‘False Narrative'” HERE)

LOL: Biden Promised 1 Year Ago Today Shots Would Prevent COVID

It was one year ago today when President Biden promised Americans that if they got vaccinated they would not contract COVID-19.

On Thursday, after four COVID-19 shots, the White House announced that the president had tested positive for the disease and was experiencing mild symptoms while isolating from his staff.

Nevertheless, Biden said Wednesday in response to a reporter’s question that his plan to address a rise in COVID-19 cases was that Americans should be “getting vaccinated.”

The administration finally, reluctantly, has acknowledged the shots don’t stop infection or transmission but continues to insist they prevent severe illness, hospitalization and death.

Biden’s top coronavirus adviser, Dr. Anthony Fauci – who tested positive for COVID-19 last month after being quadruple vaccinated – acknowledged in a recent interview that the COVID vaccines “don’t protect overly well” from infection. But he maintained they still have virtue. (Read more from “LOL: Biden Promised 1 Year Ago Today Shots Would Prevent COVID” HERE)

More Than 100 Trump-Affiliated Lawyers Targeted By Dark Money Group

Aleftist nonprofit called the 65 Project will spend millions this year trying to expose and disbar more than 100 lawyers who worked on former President Donald Trump’s election lawsuits.

The group — which takes its name from the number of lawsuits filed that challenged the 2020 election results — is a dark money-fueled nonprofit tied to Democrat Party bigwigs. The 65 Project plans to file ethics complaints against 111 attorneys across 26 states while also airing ads against them in key battlegrounds such as Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

The goal is to prevent conservative attorneys from challenging election results in the future, including the upcoming 2022 midterms. For example, the group is pushing the American Bar Association to codify rules prohibiting certain election challenges and adopting language that “fraudulent and malicious lawsuits to overturn legitimate election results violate the ethical duties lawyers must abide by.”

David Brock, the founder of Media Matters for America and a key fundraiser for the Democratic Party, is an adviser to the 65 Project. He told Axios the goal is to “not only bring the grievances in the bar complaints, but shame them and make them toxic in their communities and in their firms.”

Linda Kerns is one of nine Pennsylvania attorneys who were targeted by the 65 Project last week. In a 15-page ethics complaint filed with the Pennsylvania Supreme Court, the leftist group accused Kerns of engaging in “fraudulent and malicious efforts to overturn legitimate elections,” and concluded that the only way to “deter future efforts to undermine elections through frivolous litigation” is for the Office of Disciplinary Counsel to suspend or remove Kerns’ law license. Biden’s ‘Green Energy’ Push Is About to Cost 8,000 Americans Their Jobs

While President Joe Biden has heralded Ford Motor Company as an example of a U.S. entity following his dictates for a “transition” from fossil fuels to alternative (read: more expensive and less reliable) energy, it turns out the exemplar of “Made in America” might also mean “fired in America” as the company struggles to rise to Biden’s challenge while remaining profitable.

According to new reporting from Reuters, around 8,000 Ford employees’ jobs are on the chopping block as the automaker tries to shift to an electric vehicle business despite trailing successful EV producers like Elon Musk’s Tesla — a company President Biden has ignored despite its success.

The 8,000 Ford jobs in jeopardy, according to Reuters, are part of “a bid to reduce costs and intensify its focus on electric vehicles” and will be made to “Ford’s salaried workforce, as well as the Ford Blue unit created in March to run the company’s internal combustion engine operations.” The positions to be eliminated have, according to Reuters’ sources, not been finalized but the cuts “are likely to begin this summer.” (Read more from “Biden’s ‘Green Energy’ Push Is About to Cost 8,000 Americans Their Jobs” HERE)

CNN: Trump’s Actions on January 6 ‘Legally Criminal’; Dem Rep. Falsely Claims Police ‘Killed’ in Capitol Riot

By Breitbart. CNN’s legal analyst Laura Coates said during a break of her network’s coverage of the House Select Committee hearing that former President Donald Trump’s actions on January 6, 2021 were “legally criminal.”

Discussing testimony that Trump told the White House photographer not to take pictures on January 6, Coates said, “The president is saying ‘do not show what’s happening here.’ Are you gleeful? Are you rejoicing? Go back to December 18, that consequential meeting. This was the plan. January 6 was the culmination of a plan and an effort. It sounds very clear from their testimony to try to use a last-ditch effort to ignore the fact that the judges told you no, that there was no evidence, your attorney general told you there’s no there there. Then he said why would I have stopped what I have set in motion? I mean, inertia is the thing in motion stays in motion. He doesn’t want it to stop. That is criminal.” (Read more from “CNN: Trump’s Actions on January 6 ‘Legally Criminal’” HERE)

Fact Check: Bennie Thompson Falsely Claims Police ‘Killed’ in Capitol Riot

By Breitbart. CLAIM: President Donald Trump failed to stop rioters who were “savagely beating and killing law enforcement officers.”

VERDICT: FALSE. While some rioters attacked police, they did not kill any; the only person killed was a fellow rioter.

The January 6 Committee held its eighth public hearing on Thursday, and its second in prime time. The event was billed as a crucial moment, the last scheduled hearing and one in which damning evidence would be revealed about Trump’s role.

Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), the chair of the committee, opened proceedings by addressing the hearing remotely, since he was recently diagnosed with COVID-19. Rep. Bennie Thompson (D-MS), the chair of the committee, opened proceedings by addressing the hearing remotely, since he was recently diagnosed with COVID-19. He claimed that Trump was indifferent to the “beating and killing” of police officers:

For 187 minutes on January 6th, this man of unbridled destructive energy could not be moved. Not by his aides, not by his allies, not by the violent chants of rioters, or the desperate pleas of those facing down the riot. And more tellingly, Donald Trump ignored and disregarded the desperate pleas of his own family, including Ivanka and Don Jr. Even though he was the only person in the world who could call off the mob he sent to the Capitol [sic] he could not be moved to rise from his dining room table and walk a few steps down the White House hallway into the press briefing room, where cameras were anxiously and desperately waiting to carry his message to the armed and violent mob savagely beating and killing law enforcement officers revenging the Capitol and hunting down the Vice President and various members of Congress. He could not be moved.
