Top US General Suggested There Could Be a ‘Military Component’ if NATO Helps Ukraine Export Grain

A top U.S. general recently suggested the U.S. military conduct operations to help Ukraine export grain that is being held up as a result of Russian blockades along the Black Sea Coast.

Gen. Christopher Cavoli, who has been nominated to the next commander of NATO, told U.S. senators at a hearing on Thursday that he would consider offering military options to allow for grain exports to resume, the Epoch Times reported.

When asked what he would do, Cavoli said that if he is to be confirmed he would “provide the military options required by our civilian leaders.”

Justice Department Launches Probe of Uvalde Police’s Botched Response to School Shooting

The Department of Justice announced Sunday it will probe the botched response by Uvalde, Texas, police to Tuesday’s school shooting that left 19 children and two teachers dead.

The investigation was requested by Uvalde Mayor Don McLaughlin amid growing evidence that local police hesitated to go into the Robb Elementary School classroom as the 18-year-old gunman carried out the massacre. Local police have been unable to explain why they waited up to 90 minutes to storm the school.

“The goal of the review is to provide an independent account of law enforcement actions and responses that day, and to identify lessons learned and best practices to help first responders prepare for and respond to active shooter events,” said DOJ spokesman spokesman Anthony Coley. “The review will be conducted with the Department’s Office of Community Oriented Policing.

“As with prior Justice Department after-action reviews of mass shootings and other critical incidents, this assessment will be fair, transparent, and independent. “If the United States has $40 billion to send to Ukraine, we should be able to do whatever it takes to keep our children safe at home,” Trump said, offering several security proposals for making schools safer, including armed police or security officers. . .

“Unlike some, I did not disappoint you by not showing up,” Trump said after taking the stage at the NRA convention to a roar of approval. Gov. Greg Abbott (R-TX) canceled his appearance at the NRA, sending a video instead while he visited the Uvalde community.

Trump began his speech by holding a moment of silence for the shooting victims, reading their names as audio of a bell tolled in the conference room.

“The monster who committed this crime is pure evil, pure cruelty, pure hatred, absolute pure hatred, and while those he slaughtered are now with god in heaven, he will be eternally damned to burn in the fires of hell,” he said. Trump Calls for More Guns to Stop ‘Evil’ in Speech at NRA Convention

By Washington Examiner. Former President Donald Trump called for more guns and a security overhaul at public schools during the National Rifle Association convention Friday in Houston, mere days after a shooting at a Uvalde, Texas, elementary school killed 19 children and two teachers.

In his proposal, Trump called for more armed security guards and police officers at schools, along with metal detectors and a single port of entry for campuses. . .

The former president also said schools need to be more proactive in monitoring students who portray dangerous behavior.

“Teachers, parents, school officials, and community members need to be recognizing and addressing these alarm bells promptly and aggressively,” Trump said. “Our school discipline systems, instead of making excuses and continually turning a blind eye, need to confront bad behavior head-on and quickly.”

Feds Confirm Investigation Into Elon Musk

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission confirmed on Friday that it is investigating Elon Musk’s disclosure that he owned shares in Twitter ahead of his $44 billion purchase of the company.

The SEC is looking into why Musk allegedly made his disclosure late that he owned more than 5% of the company’s shares, which he must legally disclose within 10 days of meeting the threshold.

“The SEC also wants to know why Musk filed a ’13G’ form, which is meant for passive investors, rather than a ’13D’ form that would be for activist investors (including those with interest in making a takeover offer),” Axios reported. “It’s important to note that the SEC’s letter came on the same day as Musk’s disclosure, which is before he offered to buy Twitter outright.”

The SEC said in its letter that it wants a response from Musk even if he does not believe that their “comments apply to your facts and circumstances.”

Americans Paying Most Income Taxes Ever

The Treasury expects to feed on a 28% surge in individual income taxes this year and another spurt in 2025 when the Trump tax cuts expire, according to a new budget analysis presented to Congress on Thursday.

The latest Congressional Budget Office report revealed expectations of $2.6 trillion in individual income taxes this year, up from $2 trillion last year.

Not only is that the highest ever, but it is also the biggest share of gross domestic product since income taxes began.

“In 2021, receipts from individual income taxes totaled $2.0 trillion, or 9.1% of GDP. Under current law, and on the basis of receipts observed through late April of this year, CBO expects individual income tax receipts to rise by 28% in 2022, to $2.6 trillion. At 10.6% of GDP, that total is expected to be the highest amount of individual income tax receipts recorded since 1913, when ratification of the Sixteenth Amendment authorized the federal government to begin collecting income taxes,” said the agency.

‘Spy Chief of China’ Laptop Recording Sheds Light on Hunter Biden’s Overseas Business

Hunter Biden’s business ties to men he believes were connected to Chinese intelligence loom large as he faces an investigation into his taxes, overseas business dealings, and possible foreign lobbying.

Records from a copy of Biden’s abandoned laptop, which has been obtained and reviewed by the Washington Examiner, show he believed some of his Chinese business partners were connected to Chinese intelligence services and that he worried about the Foreign Agents Registration Act.

The president’s son held a lucrative position on the board of Ukrainian energy giant Burisma when his father was vice president. He also pursued business deals in China and elsewhere during and after his father’s tenure and received millions from Chinese government-linked entities. He raked in millions thanks to these associations from 2013 to 2018.

Elon Musk: Recession Will Be Good Thing, COVID Tricked People Into Thinking They Don’t Need to Work

Tesla CEO and billionaire Elon Musk foresees an economic recession in the near future, saying it will be a “good thing.”

Musk shared his opinions via Twitter when another user asked him if he thinks there will still be a recession. Musk replied by saying “Recession actually a good thing…it has been raining money on fools for too long. Some bankruptcies need to happen.”

He also blamed all of the unnecessary Wuhan Coronavirus stay-at-home orders for making people lazy and not wanting to work.

“All the Covid stay-at-home stuff has tricked people into thinking that you don’t actually need to work hard. Rude awakening inbound!”

The Buffalo Shooter Told Six People About His Plans To Commit Mass Murder…and No One Said Anything

. . .The preventability aspect has become known with the recent Buffalo mass shooting where avowed white supremacist Payton Gendron shot and killed 10 people at Tops Friendly Market in Buffalo. Gendron picked the location due to its high proportion of black residents. The kid threatened to shoot up his school last year. He was brought in for a mental health evaluation but was cleared.

Now, a new development in the investigation shows that Gendron told six people about his plan to commit a mass shooting some thirty minutes before the crime. One of the people in the group is a retired federal agent. NO ONE said anything. This could be the reason why (via Buffalo News):

    Law enforcement officers are investigating whether a retired federal agent had about 30 minutes advance notice of a white supremacist’s plans to murder Black people at a Buffalo supermarket, two law enforcement officials told The Buffalo News.

    Authorities believe the former agent – believed to be from Texas – was one of at least six individuals who regularly communicated with accused gunman Payton Gendron in an online chat room where racist hatred was discussed, the two officials said.

    The two law enforcement sources with direct knowledge of the investigation stated these individuals were invited by Gendron to read about his mass shooting plans and the target location about 30 minutes before Gendron killed 10 people at Tops Markets on Jefferson Avenue on May 14.

Uvalde Shooter Entered Thru Unlocked Door; Mom Handcuffed for Urging Cops to Enter School; No Armed School Officer Despite Dem Claims

By Breitbart. The Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) revealed Thursday that the gunman who murdered 19 children and two teachers in Uvalde on Tuesday walked into the school through an unlocked door, and did not encounter any school police.

Previously, the media had been informed that the 18-year-old who carried out a mass shooting at the Robb Elementary School had been confronted by an armed school resource officer outside school, and had exchanged gunfire with him.

On Thursday, DPS Regional Director Victor Escalon told reporters that at 11:28 a.m. on Tuesday, after the gunman crashed a pickup truck near the school, he began his attack. The gunman climbed a four-foot-high chain link fence around the school, and fired at the school as he approached. He also fired at two eyewitnesses at a funeral home nearby. By 11:40 a.m., he had approached the west side of the school. He “was not confronted by anybody” outside the school, armed or otherwise.

Escalon added that there was no school resource officer on campus, and that the first report came to police at 11:30 a.m.

Though said it was still uncertain, it appeared that the shooter had entered the building through an unlocked door. He said that further investigation could reveal that the door was unlocked, but that at the moment it appeared to have been unlocked. Mom Briefly Handcuffed for Urging Cops to Enter School, Then Rushed in to Save Her Kids: Report

A mother of two students at Robb Elementary School, in Uvalde, Texas, alleged being briefly cuffed by U.S. Marshals on Tuesday after she urged officers to enter the school while an active shooter was still inside. After persuading her release, the mother said she hopped a fence and rushed into the school, sprinting back out after she grabbed her children.

An 18-year-old male, who will not be named per Daily Wire policy, killed at least 19 children and two adults at the elementary school on Tuesday.

“The police were doing nothing,” mother Angeli Rose Gomez accused, according to The Wall Street Journal. “They were just standing outside the fence. They weren’t going in there or running anywhere.”

Gomez, a farm supervisor, reportedly drove some 40 miles to the school after she learned her second- and third-grade children were at risk.

Because the account or “activity on it” did not follow Instagram’s community guidelines, Libs of TikTok was suspended from Instagram, according to a screenshot of the suspension notice. Libs of TikTok has 30 days to “disagree with the decision” — or else the account “will be permanently disabled.”
