Uvalde, Texas School Shooting: 19 Children, 2 Teachers Killed, Suspected Shooter Dead

A mass shooting at a Texas elementary school killed 19 children and two teachers Tuesday and the suspected gunman was killed, Gov. Greg Abbott said.

Abbott identified the suspect as Salvador Ramos, a Uvalde resident, who is also dead and acted alone, authorities said. He had a handgun and possibly a rifle when he opened fire at Robb Elementary School, he said. Two police officers were shot and wounded but were expected to survive, Abbott said.

“Texans across the state are grieving for the victims of this senseless crime and for the community of Uvalde. Cecilia and I mourn this horrific loss and we urge all Texans to come together to show our unwavering support to all who are suffering,” he said in a statement. . .

University Health in San Antonio said it received two patients – a child and a 66-year-old woman who is in critical condition. The condition of the child was not released. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has been briefed on the shooting. (Read more from “Uvalde, Texas School Shooting: 19 Children, 2 Teachers Killed, Suspected Shooter Dead” HERE)

Alleged ISIS Member Arrested for Plot to Assassinate George W. Bush

An alleged Islamic State operative in the United States was plotting to kill former President George W. Bush, according to officials.

An unsealed FBI search warrant from March 23 revealed that two confidential informants and surveillance of the suspect’s WhatsApp profile reportedly determined that an Ohio man named Shihab Ahmed Shihab wished to kill Bush due to his role in the Iraq War.

“President Bush has all the confidence in the world in the United States Secret Service and our law enforcement and intelligence communities,” a spokesperson for the Office of George W. Bush told Forbes.

Shihab has lived in the U.S. since 2020, was based in Columbus, Ohio, and had an asylum application pending, according to the FBI’s documentation. The person claimed to be part of a unit named “al Raed,” which was reportedly led by a former Iraqi pilot for Saddam Hussein and operated out of Qatar until the pilot’s recent death. There may be up to seven different members of this unit, according to the warrant request. Shihab’s identity was kept anonymous in initial reports but was reported by NBC News after he was taken into custody. (Read more from “Alleged ISIS Member Arrested for Plot to Assassinate George W. A Major New Development in the Hunter Biden Laptop Scandal

The Washington Examiner’s new reporting on the Hunter Biden laptop saga marks a giant leap in the public’s understanding of a significant story of national import. A story that was reprehensibly suppressed in the run-up to the 2020 election.

For one thing, the Washington Examiner has put to rest the risible claims that the laptop’s digital contents are not authentic. Plainly, the contents were produced by Biden’s operation of the laptop and nothing else. An exacting technical analysis performed by a highly qualified expert, retained by the Washington Examiner based on his decades of government and private work in the field, confirms what has been patent since the laptop emerged as a public controversy in the weeks just prior to the 2020 election: The laptop belonged to Hunter Biden.

The thousands of emails, memos, ledgers, and photos contained on the laptop were generated by his use of it. To have suggested the laptop’s contents were the result of a hack, a plant, or (most preposterously, Russian intelligence service disinformation) was grossly irresponsible. There was scant evidence that the information could have been fabricated, in comparison to overwhelming evidence that the information, though startling in many particulars, was what one would reasonably have expected to find on a Hunter Biden laptop. Expected to find, that is, given the younger Biden’s notoriously shady foreign business entanglements, his network of family and friends, his history of trading on his father’s political influence, and his demons.

Contrary to what the public was told, it is not difficult to authenticate evidence for purposes of use in court. The rules of evidence indulge a presumption in favor of the admissibility of probative evidence. If an item appears to be what the proponent represents it to be, the rules provide for its admission into the evidentiary record even if there are gaps in the chain of custody or other indications of possible irregularities. Our law’s theory is that such questions go to the weight of the evidence, not its admissibility. The party against whom the evidence is admitted gets to demonstrate any weaknesses through cross-examination; the jury or court then decides how much credibility and significance to attribute to the item. Hunter Biden’s laptop always appeared to be what its proponents claimed it was: Hunter Biden’s laptop. (Read more from “A Major New Development in the Hunter Biden Laptop Scandal” HERE)

Stacey Abrams Trashes Georgia on Campaign Trail: ‘Worst State in the Country to Live’

Gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams ridiculed the state of Georgia Saturday, dismissing rival Gov. Brian Kemp’s (R) claim that the Peach State is the best place to live and do business in the United States.

“I am tired of hearing about how we’re the best state in the country to do business when we are the worst state in the country to live,” Abrams said in a speech at the Gwinnett Democrats’ Bluetopia Gala in Norcross, Georgia. . .

Abrams ran a failed 2018 gubernatorial campaign against Kemp and has since refused to concede, stoking conspiracy theories of a stolen election. This time around, Kemp is also facing another Republican in Tuesday’s primary election — Sen. David Perdue (R), who has been endorsed by former President Donald Trump. In Rebuke to Pentagon, Navy Board Finds 3-0 for Vax Objector Amid Questions of Mandate’s Lawfulness

In a stinging rebuke to the Pentagon, a Navy administrative separation board voted unanimously to retain an officer who refused to comply with the military’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

Navy Lt. Billy Moseley, who has been an officer for 22 years, could have chosen to retire from the military when he was ordered to receive the COVID vaccine. He also could have submitted a Religious Accommodation Request, since he objected to the vaccine for religious reasons.

Risking his retirement, Moseley chose instead to take his case to the administrative separation board after learning “that the Navy and the other services intended to implement a blanket denial policy,” according to a press release from his attorney, R. Davis Younts.

Moseley consulted with legal and medical experts and “became convinced that as an officer he had an obligation to take a stand against the unlawful order and be a voice for thousands of enlisted Sailors,” the press release continued.

Younts told Just the News Moseley is one of the first Navy service members — maybe even the first officer — to go to the board over the COVID vaccine mandate. (Read more from “In Rebuke to Pentagon, Navy Board Finds 3-0 for Vax Objector Amid Questions of Mandate’s Lawfulness” HERE)

Americans Care More About Depp v. Heard Trial Than War, Abortion, Inflation

Americans are grappling with soaring inflation, the ongoing pandemic and the likely overturn of Roe v. Wade — but they are interested in one issue above all else.

The blockbuster defamation trial between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard is currently generating more social media engagement than any other topic, according to data from media monitoring platform NewsWhip.

The data firm claims that the captivating courtroom drama has garnered an average of 508 social media interactions — i.e. likes, comments and shares — for each published article over the past month.

That is almost five times as much engagement as articles pertaining to abortion (141 social media interactions) and more than 10 times as much engagement as articles about COVID-19 (44 social media interactions).

“Hands down it’s a record-setter for us,” Rachel Stockman, president of Law & Crime network, told Axios of the trial on Wednesday. (Read more from “Americans Care More About Depp v. Heard Trial Than War, Abortion, Inflation” HERE)

Ex-Biden Thought Police Chief Throws a Tantrum That Exposes DHS’ True Goal (VIDEO)

This was utterly predictable. No, I’m not talking about Nina Jankowicz’s resignation from the Department of Homeland Security’s thought police. I thought she would stay because the liberal media would have happily extended her plenty of political cover. Instead, the DHS bungled the rollout of their Disinformation Governance Board to the point where nothing could be salvaged. Even Janky’s allies were left with little to no recourse to mount a defense for her. The talking points were either wrong or non-existent. DHS also didn’t do itself any favors with its “trust us, this isn’t like the Ministry of Truth” pivot. Don’t these people know—the American people are always distrustful of government in their own way?

It’s also not a great look when DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was caught being unaware that the woman he hired had a series of cringeworthy and inaccurate TikTok videos about disinformation. Janky is a Russian collusion peddler and thought the Hunter Biden laptop was a Russian PSYOP. The woman tasked with policing disinformation was herself a bastion of…disinformation. I don’t need to remind you of this embarrassing fiasco that engulfed the DHS. So, Janky left, and the thought police squad was put on hold for now. It could come back.

That didn’t stop this woman from going on the liberal media circuit to say she was derailed by right-wing disinformation. The tantrum that occurred afterward is the best part because it exposes what this whole thought police was set up for, which is to help Democrats. You all know that—and I guess since the cat is out of the bag—they’re admitting to it as well on some level.

Democratic Socialist Running for Congress Calls for Breaking Into Empty Homes (VIDEO)

Washington Democratic congressional candidate Rebecca Parson has a bold idea to get Congress to pass housing legislation: have a million people break into empty houses.

Parson, a member of the Democratic Socialists of America, is running to represent Washington’s 6th Congressional District. In a video ad, she outlined what she and her followers can do if she wins.

“Imagine I proposed a Housing for All Bill in Congress, Then imagine you, me, and a million of our friends took action and occupied empty houses nationwide. They couldn’t ignore us,” Parson says in the ad.

“No one has ever done anything like this,” Parson continues. “That’s why it’s going to work.”

Fox News reached out to Parson’s campaign for details of the plan, but they did not immediately respond.

Hidden Identity: FBI Wrongly Told Its Agents Trump-Russia Collusion Claims Had Come From DOJ, Bombshell Document Reveals

FBI agents probing since-debunked claims of a secret back channel between Donald Trump and a Russian bank believed that the allegations had originated with the Department of Justice — when in fact they came from Hillary Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussmann, who had shopped them to the bureau’s then-general counsel days earlier.

In the latest revelation to emerge from Sussmann’s trial in DC federal court on a count of lying to the FBI, special counsel John Durham’s prosecutors revealed that investigators had received an electronic communication citing a referral from the DOJ “on or about” Sept. 19, 2016, the same day Sussmann met with James Baker, then the FBI’s top lawyer.

The document, a record of the investigation being opened by agents Curtis Heide and Allison Sands and dated Sept. 23, 2016, did not mention Sussmann as the source of the allegations.

“In that referral, the DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE provided the FBI with a white paper that was produced by an anonymous third party,” the communication said, before adding: “According to the white paper, a U.S.-based server that is owned by the TRUMP ORGANIZATION has been communicating with the Russian-based ALFA BANK organization in Moscow, Russia.”

The document was circulated to several top FBI officials — including Peter Strzok, who oversaw the probe of Clinton’s email server as well as the Trump-Russia investigation, and was famously fired from the bureau in 2018 after the emergence of text messages he sent to his colleague and mistress Lisa Page in which he vowed to help “stop” Trump from winning the White House. “Greatest Political Scandals in History”: Trump Rails Against Reputation Smear After Clinton Lawyer’s Damning Testimony; Hillary Clinton Signed Off on Sharing Debunked Alfa-Bank Claims With the Media

By New York Post. Donald Trump said revelations from Hillary Clinton’s former campaign manager that she herself agreed to share unproven information that linked him to a Russian bank is “one of the greatest political scandals in history.”

The former president made the comments after Robby Mook testified in defense of former Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann, who is charged with lying to the FBI and being tried as part of a three-year investigation into ties between Trump and Russia.

Mook testified Friday that shortly before the 2016 election Clinton “agreed” to share with a reporter since-discredited allegations of a secret back channel between a Trump Organization server and Russia’s Alfa Bank.

“This is one of the greatest political scandals in history,” Trump told Fox News Saturday morning. “For three years, I had to fight her off, and fight those crooked people off, and you’ll never get your reputation fully back.”

“Where do I get my reputation back?” Trump reportedly asked. (Read more from ““Greatest Political Scandals in History”: Trump Rails Against Reputation Smear After Clinton Lawyer’s Damning Testimony” HERE)

Hillary Clinton Signed Off on Sharing Debunked Alfa-Bank Claims With the Media

By Washington Examiner. Hillary Clinton personally signed off on sharing since-debunked Trump-Russia allegations related to Alfa-Bank with the media during the 2016 election, according to her campaign manager.

Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook testified Friday he was “briefed about the Alfa-Bank issue first” by Clinton campaign general counsel Marc Elias in the summer of 2016. He said the campaign leadership quickly had a meeting about whether to share the information with the media, which they decided to do. Also present in the meeting were campaign chairman John Podesta, communications director Jennifer Palmieri, and policy adviser Jake Sullivan (who is now President Joe Biden’s national security adviser), according to Mook.

He said that “we discussed it and then made that decision” and “we did” decide to share the claims with a reporter. When asked by a prosecutor on special counsel John Durham’s team about the highest level of approval for pushing the Alfa-Bank claims to the press, Mook replied that “John and I were involved,” but “I discussed it with Hillary as well” after the campaign team had discussed it. Mook said that he framed it to Clinton as: “Hey, you know, we have this, and we want to share it with a reporter.” Mook added, “She agreed to that.”

When pressed by Durham prosecutor Andrew DeFilippis on what else Clinton said, Mook replied that “all I remember is that she agreed with the decision” to share the Alfa-Bank claims with the media. Mook said that “she thought we made the right decision.”

Mook said he couldn’t recall “the exact sequence of events” on whether Clinton was giving final approval or if she was approving of something the campaign had already done. (Read more from “Hillary Clinton Signed Off on Sharing Debunked Alfa-Bank Claims With the Media” HERE)
