GOP Probe Into Hunter Biden’s Business Dealings Reportedly Reveals Over 150 Financial Transactions Flagged as ‘Concerning’

A GOP probe into Hunter Biden’s business dealings has reportedly raised red flags surrounding President Joe Biden’s brother, James Biden, CBS News reported Wednesday. The network also reported that over 150 financial transactions from Hunter Biden or James Biden “were flagged as concerning by U.S. banks for further review.”

The news coincides with rising concerns and revelations over Biden’s son’s foreign business dealings, as well as renewed interest in the contents of Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop.

Republican lawmakers released a slew of bank records that name the Lion Hall Group, James Biden’s company, as taking payments from a Chinese-financed company in 2018, CBS News reported. Senate Judiciary Committee ranking member Chuck Grassley of Iowa, speaking to the network, said the documents show “people with the Biden name, dealing with Chinese business people that have a relationship to the Communist Party.”

“I think James Biden was very much a part of this,” Grassley added.

White House Defends Giving Illegal Crossers Smart Phones to Report to ICE

The White House on Wednesday defended the idea of giving smartphones to illegal border crossers, to help them stay in touch with ICE officials.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki appeared indignant after Fox News reporter Peter Doocy questioned her about the program, detailed recently in their reporting.

“I think you, of all people, since you’ve asked me a range of questions on this topic over time, would recognize that we need to take steps to ensure that we know where individuals are and we can track, and we can check in with then,” she replied.

Psaki said the phones provided to migrants and border crossers were part of the administration’s “alternative to detention” program at the border.

Biden Jokes About Expanded Fight With Russia: ‘If I Gotta Go to War, I’m Going With You Guys’

President Biden joked about the possibility of the Russian invasion of Ukraine to expand to directly involve the U.S. military on Wednesday, telling union workers, “If I gotta go to war, I’m going with you guys.”

Biden made the statement during an address to union workers at the North American Building Trades Unions legislative conference Wednesday. Biden opened his speech with a lengthy section addressing new sanctions against Russia.

“This fight is far from over,” Biden said. “Here’s the point: This war could continue for a long time, but the United States will continue to stand with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people in their fight for freedom.”

Why Did Joe Biden Write a College Recommendation Letter for a Chinese Business Partner?

. . .[A]s more things drop from this treasure trove of a hard drive, we have a college recommendation letter written by Joe Biden for the son of a Chinese business partner who worked with Hunter. This kid applied to New York University, Brown University, and Cornell University. And look, we have an email chain to prove it. The Biden White House can no longer run away from this, so they just don’t comment anymore. The Chinese business partner was someone Hunter did business with at BHR, an investment firm (via Fox News):

President Biden, in 2017, wrote a college recommendation letter for the son of a Chinese executive who did business with Hunter Biden, according to emails reviewed by Fox News Digital.

The president has repeatedly denied discussing Hunter’s business ventures with his son.

Fox News Digital obtained emails between Hunter Biden and his business associates involved in his firm Rosemont Seneca’s joint venture with Chinese investment firms Bohai Capital and BHR.

Hunter held a 10% stake in BHR as recently as last year, the White House previously acknowledged. Hunter’s attorney told the New York Times in November that he had since divested.

Judge Issues First Outright Acquittal of Jan. 6 Protest Defendant

A judge has issued the first outright acquittal of a defendant charged in the Capitol riot.

Following a two-day bench trial in U.S. District Court in Washington, New Mexico engineer Matthew Martin was acquitted Wednesday on four misdemeanor charges by U.S. District Court Judge Trevor McFadden. Martin claimed that he thought the police had allowed him into an entrance near the Capitol Rotunda on Jan. 6, 2021. . .

“People were streaming by and the officers made no attempt to stop the people,” said the judge, an appointee of President Donald Trump.

Prosecutors argued that broken windows and blaring alarms should have alerted Martin that he did not have permission to enter, but McFadden said the sheer size of the crowd coupled with the conduct of the police undermined that evidence.

The ruling is a blow to the Justice Department and seems likely to elevate similar defenses from hundreds of other members of the mob who have claimed that they didn’t know they weren’t permitted inside the Capitol and believed that police officers had approved their presence. Illegal Alien Charged With Killing Elderly Man, Injuring Three Others in Florida

An illegal alien has been charged with killing a 72-year-old man and injuring three others in a drunk driving crash in Walton County, Florida, Breitbart News has exclusively learned.

Jose Virgilio Carcamo Elvir, a 42-year-old illegal alien, was charged with one count of DUI manslaughter, three counts of DUI causing serious bodily injury, driving with an expired license, and driving with open alcohol containers. . .

According to a report issued by Florida Highway Patrol, exclusively obtained by Breitbart News, Elvir was driving drunk in Walton County on April 3 when he crashed into the back of another vehicle and caused an eight-vehicle crash as a result.

Perry Adrian Cole, a 72-year-old resident of Palmetto Bay, Florida, was involved in the crash and rushed to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Santa Rosa, Florida, where he was later pronounced dead as a result of his injuries.

“Just weeks after a Haitian criminal alien brutally murdered a Florida husband and wife in Daytona Beach, another innocent Floridian lost his life at the hands of an illegal alien in Walton County,” Gov. Ron DeSantis’s (R) office wrote in an exclusive statement to Breitbart News.

White House Crowd Laughs After Barack Obama Refers to Joe Biden as ‘Vice President’

The former president was introduced by Vice President Kamala Harris before taking the podium.

“Vice President Biden, vice president…” he began as the crowd busted out laughing.

Biden Left Looking For Someone to Talk to as Obama Is Surrounded by Democrat Groupies

By Daily Caller. Prominent Democrats flocked around former President Barack Obama while ignoring President Joe Biden at the White House Tuesday after Biden signed an executive order aimed at strengthening the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

After signing the order, Biden shook several hands and saluted the crowd before slowly wandering away from the table. Upon realizing no one was walking with him, Biden lifted his hands in apparent frustration and turned around to see several people, including Vice President Kamala Harris and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, encircling Obama.

Biden stared with his back to the camera for several seconds before continuing to walk away.

Why the Liberal Media Is About to Smother the Recent Mass Shooting in Sacramento

There was a mass shooting at a bar in Sacramento, California a few days ago. Joe Biden did mention it. The usual folks went through the motions, calling for more gun control. Six people were left dead with another dozen or so wounded. More than 100 shots were fired. Why is it getting buried? Well, we have a war in Ukraine, high inflation, high gas prices, a border crisis that’s about to get worse, and a supply chain still in chaos. There’s a lot of more pressing news, but there’s also another reason. The suspect doesn’t fit the ‘bash the white dudes’ narrative. It’s not a white male. Therefore, countermeasures have been deployed by the liberal media. This story is about to die, but police did arrest two people connected to the shooting (via Fox News):

Sacramento police have announced the arrest of a second suspect – the brother of the first suspect arrested Monday – in connection to the weekend mass shooting that left six dead and a dozen wounded.

Smiley Martin, 27, was taken into custody Tuesday morning as he recovered at a hospital from injuries suffered during the gunfire that broke out in the California capital’s entertainment district early Sunday morning, the Sacramento Police Department said. . .

Martin is the brother of 26-year-old Dandrae Martin, who was arrested as a suspect in the mass shooting a day earlier. Dandrae Martin is facing charges of assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon. Neither has been accused of homicide.
