Biden’s Approval Rating Craters to Shocking New Low

By Daily Caller. President Joe Biden’s approval rating continues to drop as voters grow increasingly dissatisfied with his handling of key issues, according to the results of a new poll.

Biden’s approval rating dropped to a new low of 33%, according to a Quinnipiac University poll released Wednesday, with 53% of Americans saying they disapprove of the president’s performance. The rating is down 3% since November 2021, when Biden held a 36% approval rating.

Hispanic voters were least supportive of Biden’s job performance, with 28% saying they approve of how he is handling his duties, compared to 32% of white voters and 57% of black voters. Just 25% of independent voters said they approve of Biden’s performance, while 57% said they disapprove.

Voters were critical of Biden’s handling of key issues, including the economy, the COVID-19 pandemic and foreign policy.

Just 34% of Americans said they approve of Biden’s handling of the economy, with 57% saying they disapprove. The results follow several months of increasing inflation, with the Consumer Price Index currently rising at its highest rate in 40 years. New Poll Shows Biden Approval Absolutely Collapsing

By Townhall. The latest survey from Quinnipiac has more bad news for President Joe Biden as he nears the one-year mark of his administration: just one-third of Americans approve of the job he’s done so far.

The survey found that “Americans give President Joe Biden a negative 33 – 53 percent job approval rating,” translated by Quinnipiac to mean “A rocky start for President Biden gets him low grades on his year one report card.”

Broken down by party affiliation, the disapproval vs approval is more of what observers have come to expect:

Republicans: 95 to 2 percent
Democrats: 14 to 75 percent
Independents: 57 to 25 percent

Notching such low levels of approval “is as bad as it gets,” noted Josh Kraushaar.

U.S. Judge Offers Choice to Man Convicted of Sexual Assault: Join the Military or Go to Jail

A Kentucky judge recently offered a man convicted of sexual assault an unusual choice: Enlist in the military or serve prison time.

Brandon Scott Price, 28, a former Franklin County Regional Jail guard, was found guilty of second-degree sexual assault, a Class A misdemeanor, earlier this month. On account of his crime, Price received a 12-month prison sentence with two years of probation — with one strange caveat.

Circuit Judge Thomas Wingate informed Price during his sentencing that he could have his jail time waived if he decided to join the U.S. military, according to the State Journal.

“If you don’t enroll in 30 days, you can report to the Franklin County Regional Jail,” Wingate said. “You are under the gun, young man. You gotta do it.”

The outlet noted that Price was initially charged with third-degree sodomy, a Class D felony, but had his charges reduced. The former jail guard was convicted of sexually assaulting a female inmate in January 2019 after transporting her to the hospital. Woke Lesson at Public High School Told Students They’re Privileged if They’re Christian, Straight, or Male

A California school district reportedly went into damage control mode after the Daily Signal called it out for lessons that told high school students they are the beneficiaries of privilege if they are Christian, male, or straight.

The Desert Sands Unified School District in La Quinta, which is in Riverside County, said it was taking “corrective” measures after the lessons came to light, the outlet said.

“The lesson was not in alignment with the district-adopted curriculum” and “actions are being taken to rectify the situation,” the district told the Daily Signal in a statement, adding that “the teacher was operating outside the scope of [the] adopted curriculum and had potentially presented a biased position. Corrective action is underway.”

The outlet said it hasn’t been able to identify which teacher used the lesson.

Fully Vaccinated Teen Model Dies From COVID Complications

A teenage model tipped for a successful future has died of complications linked to Covid-19, despite her mum claiming she was “healthy” and fully vaccinated.

Valentina Boscardin Mendes, 18, contracted pneumonia and suffered a fatal thrombosis or blood clot, on Sunday, after being admitted to hospital in her native Sao Paulo in Brazil.

Her mum Marcia Boscardin, a TV presenter, who has also worked as a model and actress, revealed the tragic news of her daughter’s death on social media. . .

Marcia, who has modeled for the likes of Givenchy and Christian Dior and now has her own YouTube channel, has said her daughter had received the recommended two doses of the Pfizer Covid jab and had no underlying health problems. A wince-inducing video shows a Texas man having a giant insect pulled out of his ear after the large critter flew into his lug while he was working in his garage.

The patient, identified only as Ronald, was featured on this week’s episode of This Came Out Of Me, a Discovery Channel reality series that profiles unusual and extreme medical emergencies treated by ER doctors in Texas.

In the episode, which aired on Sunday, Ronald is heard telling nurse Paige Grissom how he had been fixing up his dune buggy outside in the garage of his Odessa home when a “daggum bug flew in my ear.”

When asked whether he believed the bug was still alive, Ronald responds that he believes it is, adding: “It’s really irritating. It feels like it’s got some wings and it’s down on my eardrum.”

“Drives me crazy,” he adds. “I couldn’t stand up because it was just so uncomfortable … makes me just unstable.”

Election Experts Warn: Biden’s Speech Was ‘Gaslighting America’

On Tuesday, President Joe Biden appeared in Atlanta where he engaged in a stunningly dishonest speech concerning nuking the filibuster and passing voting legislation, supposedly in the name of saving democracy.

As has been a theme for Democrats and their mainstream media allies, Biden repeatedly referenced the Capitol riot of January 6 and connected it to states passing voter integrity laws. Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris’ appearance was “to make clear what must come after that dreadful day when a dagger was literally held at the throat of American democracy,” the president claimed.

Biden also warned that “victory was not certain, nor is democracy’s future.” He went on to say “that’s why we’re here today to stand against the forces in America that value power over principle, forces that attempted a coup — a coup against the legally expressed will of the American people — by sowing doubt, inventing charges of fraud, and seeking to steal the 2020 election from the people” and claimed that “they want chaos to reign. We want the people to rule.”

During a media call with Heritage Action for America’s Executive Director Jessica Anderson and Honest Elections Project Jason Snead, both condemned such a narrative connecting to January 6, with Anderson referring to it as “so divisive,” “very dangerous,” and something that has “just added more flame to that fire,” with it amounting to “partisan mudslinging” and one that “pit[s] American against American.”

Throughout the call, Anderson stressed that Biden and the Democrats seeking to have a focus on narrative rather than actual policy provisions in election integrity laws is particularly problematic. Arsonist Shocked by His Own Plea Agreement: I Shouldn’t Be Out of Jail

A Baltimore man has expressed shock over his own plea agreement in connection with setting his former girlfriend’s home ablaze, saying he shouldn’t be out of jail for the crime he committed because it sends a bad message to criminals.

Trent pleaded guilty to one count of first-degree arson after being charged for torching his former girlfriend’s home as she and her roommates were still inside in May. The man was previously charged with 18 felonies, though he pleaded down to just one arson charge. He was only handed a 10-year suspended sentence, reports FOX 45 News.

“I was just charged with 18 different counts, that was dropped to 10, that was dropped to one. When I shouldn’t be out right now. I disrupted somebody’s life. I traumatized somebody because of how I felt in a situation,” Luther Trent stated, according to FOX 45 News. “Personally, yes, I want to be out but principally, no I shouldn’t be out because I could have done a lot more damage than I did. I was expecting to get time. People who were in that situation, they should expect to get time.”

Trent was released from prison despite only serving fewer than six months after securing a plea deal via the Baltimore City State’s Attorney’s Office.

“I went to the side of the house and poured gasoline on the side of the house,” Trent said. “The love of my life is in Baltimore. I know where she lives at and I can’t even talk to her. Can’t say nothing to her. Scandal-Ridden CNN Sees Ratings Dive by 90% After 2021 Coverage

CNN’s ratings took a nosedive by a massive 90 percent both overall and in the all-important demographic coveted by advertisers in the first week of the new year.

The Jeff Zucker-led cable news network averaged just 548,000 viewers during the week of Jan. 3 — a major drop from the nearly 2.7 million viewers for the same week in 2021, according to Nielsen ratings.

The year-ago ratings were jolted by the left-leaning network’s coverage of the Jan. 6 attack on the US Capitol, which resulted in CNN having its most-watched day since Ted Turner launched the news outlet in 1980.

But on the one-year anniversary of the attacks, viewers flipped over to CNN’s right-wing rival, Fox News, which topped the ratings for coverage of the event.

CNN has been plagued by a cascade of high-profile scandals, most notably the firing of its primetime star Chris Cuomo after the anchor was found to be secretly aiding the defense of his embattled older brother, former New York Gov. Biden’s America: December Inflation Surges to Highest Level Since 1982

Days after #bareshelvesBiden trended on Twitter in an attempt to call the Democrat White House’s attention to the nation’s ongoing supply chain crisis, inflation in the U.S. surged to 7 percent in December, the highest inflation rate since 1982.

According to the December consumer price index released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics on Wednesday, one of the most notable “contributors to the seasonally adjusted all items increase” was food, which saw a 0.5 percent increase compared to recent months, making Americans’ trips to bare-shelved grocery stores even tougher. Shelter and used vehicles were also named by the bureau as significant contributors to rising prices.

Since December 2020, the energy index climbed to 29.3 percent, food prices are 6.3 percent higher, and gasoline rose to 49.6 percent more than last year.

GOP Leaders Demand Fauci Answer for Emails Admitting Possible Lab Leak, Intentional Genetic Manipulation

High-ranking members of the GOP are demanding answers from Dr. Anthony Fauci after newly released emails suggest he warned fellow health bureaucrats that COVID-19 could have leaked from the Wuhan Insitute of Virology (WIV) and that it might have been “genetically manipulated.”

In a letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, Republicans on the congressional Committee on Oversight and Reform and the Committee on the Judiciary are requesting that Fauci testify under oath after emails show he may have intentionally shielded information about COVID’s origins from the Trump White House and the American public.

“It is imperative we investigate if this information was conveyed to the rest of the government and whether this information would have changed the U.S. response to the pandemic,” Reps.
