A Maryland educator has been awarded over half a million dollars after a jury found a local school board defamed him by falsely accusing him of racist behavior. Dan Engler, a former English teacher at Bethesda-Chevy Chase High School, sued Montgomery County Public Schools after he was wrongly implicated in a “hate bias” incident.

The controversy began in 2023 when two Black students refused to sit in their assigned seats in Engler’s classroom. Later, they reported the teacher allegedly made a racially insensitive remark, claiming he said he wouldn’t be able to tell them apart. The allegation quickly escalated when school principal Shelton Mooney issued a school-wide email stating a “hate bias incident” had occurred—without naming Engler but making it easy for the school community to identify him.

According to court filings, Engler never made the comment attributed to him. Instead, he had told the students he preferred they sit in their assigned seats so he could better learn their names. The lawsuit asserted that Engler was never given a chance to explain his side before the administration publicized the accusation.

On those grounds, the Montgomery County Circuit Court jury sided with Engler, awarding him $500,000 in damages and an additional $18,000 in prejudgment interest, totaling $518,000.

Engler’s legal team criticized the principal for what they called “reckless and defamatory behavior,” stating that Mooney’s email falsely portrayed Engler as racially biased and irreparably damaged his professional reputation. The suit also noted that Mooney had failed to follow the district’s own hate-bias protocols in this and prior incidents—including a separate 2022 antisemitism complaint.

Though the email did not directly identify Engler, it led to public outrage and cost him his coaching job. Engler testified that he was “humiliated,” and that the fallout undermined his rapport with students and the broader community.

The school district argued that it followed internal procedures before sending the email, which was reviewed by at least nine officials. Their attorneys maintained that the email reflected the “general nature of the event” and should not be considered defamatory because it was “substantially true.”

Student testimonies during the trial varied. One student affirmed that Engler never made a racist remark, while another insisted he referenced race during the interaction.

Docs: Clinton Team Denied Knowledge Of Russia Hoax Despite Email Saying She ‘Approved’ Plan

The newly declassified annex to the Durham report purportedly shows that Hillary Clinton approved the Russia collusion hoax but then lied to the FBI about her knowledge of the plot.

Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley released on Thursday the declassified appendix to Special Counsel John Durham’s 2023 report. The Durham report vindicated President Donald Trump and others who insisted the FBI acted improperly when it opened its investigation into the Trump campaign over allegations of collusion with Russia.

The declassified annex includes two Russian intelligence memoranda that purportedly contain information about Obama’s involvement in what is now known as the Russia collusion hoax, as well as private conversations between members of Clinton’s campaign.

In June 2016 the Democratic National Committee confirmed that its server had been hacked, allegedly by Russian military intelligence groups. Among the materials purportedly obtained by hackers were emails.

Stunning Report: Archaeologists May Have Found Site of the Ark of the Covenant

A major archaeological discovery in Israel may shed new light on one of the most enduring biblical mysteries: the fate of the Ark of the Covenant.

A team led by Dr. Scott Stripling, director of excavations at Tel Shiloh, has uncovered a large, ancient stone structure they believe may have once housed the Ark—a sacred gold-covered chest described in the Bible as containing the stone tablets of the Ten Commandments.

The structure, found in the biblical city of Shiloh, matches the dimensions and east-west orientation of the Tabernacle as outlined in the book of Exodus. According to scripture, the Tabernacle was a portable sanctuary that housed the Ark before the construction of Solomon’s Temple in Jerusalem. Shiloh served as Israel’s primary religious center during the time of the Judges and early monarchy.

“We’ve uncovered a monumental building from the Iron I period that matches the biblical dimensions of the Tabernacle,” said Dr. Stripling. “The structure is oriented east-west and divided in a 2:1 ratio, just as described in scripture.”

In addition to the building itself, archaeologists have discovered over 100,000 animal bone fragments—primarily from sheep, goats, and cattle. Remarkably, most of the bones come from the right side of the animals, consistent with the Levitical instructions that reserved the right portion for priestly offerings (Leviticus 7).

“This isn’t a coincidence,” Dr. Stripling told the Christian Broadcasting Network. “The evidence of sacrificial rituals here is overwhelming and matches the biblical account to a degree that’s hard to ignore.”

Pottery fragments found at the site have been dated to the same time period referenced in the Bible, strengthening the link between the archaeological evidence and the era of the Tabernacle.

The biblical narrative in 1 Samuel 4 tells how the Ark was taken from Shiloh to the battlefield against the Philistines. The plan ended in disaster, with the Ark captured and high priest Eli’s sons killed. When the elderly Eli hears the news, he falls backward, breaks his neck, and dies near Shiloh’s city gate.

In a striking development, Stripling’s team believes they may have found the very gate described in that passage.

The building also features a massive interior wall dividing two chambers, mirroring the Tabernacle’s Holy Place and the Holy of Holies—where the Ark was kept behind a sacred veil (Exodus 26). According to Leviticus 16:2, even the high priest could not enter this inner sanctuary at will, under penalty of death.

The Ark’s precise fate remains unknown after it vanishes from the biblical record following the Babylonian conquest of Jerusalem in 586 BC. But this discovery in Shiloh, combined with the structural and ritual evidence found, could bring scholars closer than ever to understanding its history.

Trump Fires BLS Commissioner Over Alleged Job Report Discrepancies Ahead of 2024 Election

President Donald Trump on Friday dismissed Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Commissioner Dr. Erika McEntarfer following the release of a weaker-than-expected July jobs report and accused the agency of previously misreporting employment data ahead of the 2024 presidential election.

According to the Department of Labor, the U.S. economy added 73,000 jobs in July and the unemployment rate rose to 4.2%. Both figures fell short of economists’ expectations and prompted immediate scrutiny from the White House.

On Truth Social, President Trump, who recently began his second term, expressed concerns over what he called “manipulated” employment figures. He cited discrepancies in past job growth reports, particularly in the months leading up to the 2024 election, which he alleged had been overstated in favor of then-Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.

“I was just informed that our Country’s ‘Jobs Numbers’ are being produced by a Biden Appointee… who faked the Jobs Numbers before the Election to try and boost Kamala’s chances of Victory,” Trump wrote. He further claimed that job growth was overstated by over 800,000 positions in early 2024 and again in the fall.

In his statement, Trump directed his administration to remove McEntarfer from her post, stating she would be replaced “with someone much more competent and qualified.”

White House Deputy Chief of Staff Taylor Budowich confirmed the firing and defended the move, citing a pattern of “routinely getting economic data wrong.” Budowich added, “Policy makers look to these reports to inform decisions… We need accuracy, and President Trump will restore competency and accuracy to this critical agency.”

Stephen Miran, a senior White House economist, acknowledged the weak jobs report and said part of the downward revision — including a 258,000-job adjustment to the previous two months — was due to statistical factors, not deliberate manipulation.

“About 60 percent of the downward revision is due to quirks of the seasonal adjustment process,” Miran told CNN. He also noted that despite the setback, long-term fundamentals of the labor market remained “strong.”

McEntarfer, appointed under the Biden administration, had served as BLS commissioner during a period of economic recovery following the COVID-19 pandemic. While she has not issued a public statement in response to her dismissal, labor economists have pointed out that monthly jobs data is often revised as more information becomes available, and fluctuations are not uncommon.

The Bureau of Labor Statistics, a division of the Department of Labor, plays a key role in compiling data that influences federal monetary policy, market forecasts, and public trust in the economy.

This marks the first high-profile dismissal from a federal agency under Trump’s new term, and it has renewed debate over political influence in the presentation and interpretation of economic data.

A veteran has scored a major legal victory after he was assaulted and falsely arrested by police officers in Gastonia, North Carolina.

Joshua Rohrer, a disabled military veteran, was homeless and suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) when he was accosted by multiple police officers who accused him of panhandling.

On the day of the confrontation, he was standing near a shopping center with Sunshine, his emotional support dog. He had become known in the community for being a friendly face. “We would walk around and smile and wave at people,” he said in a story I covered at RedState. “I was making friends and things like that. It just became my routine, something to get me through the day.”

He did not ask passersby for money. However, many who came to know him would give him food and cash voluntarily. However, he soon became a target for two Gastonia Police Department officers who told him to leave the area even though he had not committed a crime.

Under North Carolina law at the time, it was not illegal for a homeless individual to receive cash or food from others as long as they weren’t actively soliciting them. REPORT: DOJ Official Tied to Left-Wing Activism Approved $2 Million Settlement for Russiagate FBI Agents Strzok and Page

A former top Department of Justice official — now linked to prominent left-wing legal advocacy groups — approved a stunning $2 million payout to disgraced former FBI agents Peter Strzok and Lisa Page, whose anti-Trump messages became central to accusations of political bias in the FBI’s Trump-Russia investigation.

According to documents obtained through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request by the Center to Advance Security in America, Brian Netter, then Deputy Assistant Attorney General under Attorney General Merrick Garland, greenlit the settlement agreements in 2024. The revelations were first reported by The Federalist.

Netter, who has since taken a role as Legal Director of Democracy Forward, a progressive legal nonprofit chaired by Clinton-aligned election lawyer Marc Elias, has long been affiliated with Democratic legal causes. Democracy Forward’s mission includes challenging GOP-backed election reforms and advocating for “social progress through litigation.”

The group’s website explicitly claims that individuals “responsible for January 6th have returned to power” — signaling its partisan orientation.

The settlement comes despite the controversial roles of Strzok and Page in the FBI’s Crossfire Hurricane investigation into the 2016 Trump campaign. Their leaked texts from 2015-2017, obtained from government-issued phones, included open disdain for then-candidate Trump and alarming references to an “insurance policy” in the event he were to win the presidency.

“I want to believe the path you threw out in [former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s] office—that there’s no way he gets elected—but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk,” Strzok wrote to Page in one infamous 2016 exchange. “It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40.”

Republican lawmakers and watchdogs said the messages suggested the FBI was politicized at the highest levels — undermining its role as a neutral investigative agency.

Strzok, who was later fired by the FBI, and Page, who resigned, sued the DOJ, alleging their privacy was violated when their texts were leaked in 2017. The DOJ ultimately awarded $1.2 million to Strzok and $800,000 to Page, according to Politico.

Netter’s involvement adds a layer of political intrigue to the case. While at DOJ, he actively fought against Trump’s attempt to block the release of presidential records to the House January 6 Committee.

According to The New York Times, Garland officiated Netter’s wedding to Karen Dunn, a Democratic legal operative who later co-founded a firm with Jeannie Rhee — a former Clinton Foundation attorney and senior lawyer on Robert Mueller’s Russia probe.

Mueller’s final report found no evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, though the investigation itself inflicted political damage and remained a dominant narrative throughout Trump’s presidency.

Adding to the controversy, newly released transcripts from the House Judiciary Committee show the FBI ignored intelligence suggesting that Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign planned to fabricate links between Trump and Russian operatives — information allegedly included in the Durham report’s annex.

Critics now say that the DOJ, under Garland, is not only protecting former operatives who pushed the discredited Russia narrative — but actively rewarding them using taxpayer dollars.

Convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell has been quietly transferred to a cushy minimum-security federal prison camp in Texas — a move raising eyebrows as reports emerge that she’s pushing for a deal to finally spill the secrets of Jeffrey Epstein’s powerful network.

The 63-year-old British socialite — serving a 20-year sentence for her role in Epstein’s child sex trafficking ring — was relocated from FCI Tallahassee to FPC Bryan, a “Club Fed”-style prison known for housing nonviolent white-collar offenders with minimal security and relative freedom of movement.

Maxwell’s sudden transfer — reportedly handled by BOP officials rather than U.S. Marshals — came just days after two secret meetings with Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, who previously served as Donald Trump’s criminal defense attorney.

The meetings were held at the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Tallahassee. While the DOJ has not confirmed what was discussed, sources suggest Maxwell is seeking immunity in exchange for testimony about Epstein and his high-powered associates.

Her attorney, David Oscar Marcus, declined to elaborate on the nature of the discussions but confirmed the meetings happened and insisted Maxwell “honestly” answered questions.

The Department of Justice, however, has previously questioned Maxwell’s credibility, citing a “significant pattern of dishonest conduct” and her refusal to take responsibility for her crimes.

Maxwell was convicted in 2021 of helping Epstein groom and abuse underage girls between 1994 and 2004. At her trial, four victims testified to being recruited and trafficked by Maxwell directly into Epstein’s orbit of sexual exploitation.

Officially, Maxwell’s sentence extends to 2037 — but inmates typically aren’t assigned to minimum-security prison camps unless they are nearing the end of their term or cooperating with federal authorities.

“Not since those tumultuous days in 1960s has this fight been so existential to who we are as a nation, with marginalized groups so dramatically under attack,” said Biden, who spoke before being presented with the organization’s C. Francis Stradford Award, named for a co-founder of the historically Black legal association.

“My friends, we need to face the hard truth of this administration, and that it has been to ease all the gains we’ve made in my administration,” Biden went on. “To erase history rather than making it. To erase fairness, equality, to erase justice itself. And that’s not hyperbole. That’s a fact.”

Young Voters Are Fleeing the Left — Pew Poll Shows Massive GOP Surge Since 2023

A shocking new report from Pew Research shows a dramatic political shift among young Americans — and it’s not good news for Democrats.

In just under two years, voters under 50 — once considered the Democratic Party’s electoral backbone — have turned sharply toward the GOP, according to the nonpartisan polling outlet.

Back in August 2023, men and women aged 18–49 leaned blue across the board. Only older male voters — those aged 50–64 and over 65 — were reliably Republican. But by June 2025, everything changed.

Males aged 18–29 have flipped their allegiance, going from 62% Democrat in 2023 to 52% Republican in 2025 — a stunning 14-point swing. Women in the same age bracket saw GOP support jump from 30% to 37%.

Even Millennials, long viewed as solid Democratic voters, are shifting. Among those born in the 1980s, Democratic affiliation dropped from 57% in 2021 to just 47% in 2025. For those born in the 1990s, the drop is even steeper — from 59% to 46%.

Democrats managed to slightly grow their lead among women aged 30–49, but not through new enthusiasm. Instead, Republican support dropped modestly in that demographic from 42% to 39%.

One other trend caught analysts’ attention: a noticeable uptick in young adults refusing to identify with either major party. Among 18–29-year-olds, 13% reported having no political leaning or declined to answer.

Still, the overall trend is unmistakable: young voters are leaving the Democratic Party in droves — and the GOP is gaining momentum where it once struggled to connect.

Daily Beast Walks Back Explosive Epstein Allegation About Melania Trump

The Daily Beast has been forced to retract an eyebrow-raising story linking former First Lady Melania Trump to notorious sex offender Jeffrey Epstein — after her legal team swiftly stepped in.

The now-pulled article, originally published Wednesday, cited controversial author Michael Wolff’s remarks in a podcast interview, where he alleged Melania had close ties to Epstein’s circle and first met Donald Trump through ID Models founder Paolo Zampolli — a figure connected to both Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell.

But following a cease-and-desist-style letter from Mrs. Trump’s attorney, the outlet admitted it had crossed the line. In an editor’s note now replacing the article, the Daily Beast stated it “received a letter from First Lady Melania Trump’s attorney challenging the headline and framing of the article.” The note continued, “After reviewing the matter, the Beast has taken down the article and apologizes for any confusion or misunderstanding.”

Wolff’s sensational claims — which remain viewable in the original podcast video on The Daily Beast’s YouTube channel — suggested Melania was “very involved” in Epstein’s social web and even claimed her first intimate encounter with Trump occurred aboard Epstein’s private jet.

The false report adds fuel to the ongoing controversy surrounding Epstein’s connections to powerful elites, especially after the DOJ and FBI announced in early July that Epstein’s 2019 death was ruled a suicide and that no so-called client list exists.

Former President Donald Trump has long denied wrongdoing, previously telling reporters he banned Epstein from Mar-a-Lago after learning he had allegedly targeted young women working at the club — including then-17-year-old Virginia Giuffre, who accused Epstein of trafficking her.

As Wolff’s unverified claims swirl, the former First Lady is clearly signaling that she won’t tolerate attempts to rewrite her history — especially not with Epstein’s name in the headline.
