The National Collegiate Athletic Association, the country’s largest organization regulating college athletics, announced this week that it “firmly and unequivocally supports” the inclusion of transgender athletes in college sports competitions.

The announcement comes as Republican-controlled legislatures in multiple states around the country consider legislation banning transgender individuals who are biologically male from competing in women’s sports. Proponents of the legislation argue that to allow such individuals to participate is “unfair” to female athletes.

However, in a statement issued Monday, the NCAA insisted its dedication to including transgender athletes in women’s sports is for the purpose of producing “fair competition.”

“The NCAA Board of Governors firmly and unequivocally supports the opportunity for transgender student-athletes to compete in college sports. This commitment is grounded in our values of inclusion and fair competition,” the statement said.

Trump Mocks SCOTUS, Predicts Court-Packing From Biden

Former President Donald Trump released a statement Monday in which he lamented the U.S. Supreme Court’s lack of courage “to do what they should have done” and predicted court-packing.

Trump repeated his unfounded claims about the “Great Presidential Election Fraud of 2020,” saying it would be ironic if the Supreme Court got “PACKED” by the “the Radical Left Democrats” whom he claimed the “politically correct Supreme Court” catered to.

“Now there is a very good chance they will be diluted (and moved throughout the court system so that they can see how the lower courts work), with many new Justices added to the Court, far more than has been reported,” Trump speculated. “There is also a good chance that they will be term-limited.”

“Our politically correct Supreme Court will get what they deserve—an unconstitutionally elected group of Radical Left Democrats who are destroying our Country,” the statement reads.

Use Of This COVID Vaccine Has Been Halted Due to People Developing Blood Clots

The Biden administration put a cautionary pause on the use of Johnson & Johnson’s coronavirus vaccine Tuesday after a handful of recipients developed “rare and severe” blood clots.

Only 6 out of the nearly 7 million Americans who received Johnson & Johnson’s vaccine developed the blood clots, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Food and Drug Administration recommended the pause “out of an abundance of caution” in a joint statement Tuesday morning.

“In these cases, a type of blood clot called cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) was seen in combination with low levels of blood platelets (thrombocytopenia),” Dr. Anne Schuchat, principal deputy director of the CDC and Dr. Peter Marks, director of the Food and Drug Administration’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research said in the statement. “All six cases occurred among women between the ages of 18 and 48, and symptoms occurred 6 to 13 days after vaccination.” (Read more from “Use Of This COVID Vaccine Has Been Halted Due to People Developing Blood Clots” HERE)

Veteran Officer Who Shot Daunte Wright Was Training Rookie; Biden: ‘No Justification For Looting, Violence’ Amid Protests

By Washington Examiner. The police officer who shot and killed 20-year-old Daunte Wright at a traffic stop on Sunday in a Minneapolis suburb was training a junior officer at the time.

The Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association revealed that Kimberly Potters, the police officer who can be seen on video shooting Wright when she said she believed she was using a Taser, had a rookie officer riding alongside her.

“She’s just a very dedicated, passionate, good person. It’s completely devastating,” officers association head Brian Peters said. “In a very tense moment, she made a mistake. It’s not her character.”

Biden: ‘No Justification For Looting, Violence’ Amid Protests

President Joe Biden made a brief statement on the unrest in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota sparked by the fatal police shooting of 20-year-old Daunte Wright while meeting with a bipartisan group of Congress members to discuss the administration’s infrastructure and jobs plan on Monday. Biden said that peaceful protests were “understandable,” but there was “no justification” for looting and violence that was seen on Sunday night.

Wright, a Black man, died Sunday after he was shot by a police officer during a traffic stop in the Minneapolis suburb. Outrage quickly gripped the city in the wake of the shooting, with many gathering to hold peaceful protests against the police. However, many also turned to looting, vandalizing dozens of stores in Brooklyn Center and the surrounding areas.

“I want to make it clear again: there is absolutely no justification—none—for looting. No justification for violence. Peaceful protest? Biden To Withdraw All U.S. Troops From Afghanistan By Sept. 11

President Joe Biden plans to withdraw all U.S. troops from Afghanistan by Sept. 11, 2021, missing the May 1 deadline he inherited from the Trump administration, according to two congressional aides and a senior administration official briefed on the plans.

The decision, which Biden is expected to announce this week, will likely prompt the Taliban to renew attacks on the roughly 3,500 American troops there, which have largely halted since the February 2020 agreement between the Trump administration and Taliban officials.

Man Hospitalized With COVID 5 Weeks After Vaccine

By Daily Voice. A 52-year-old New Jersey man was in the hospital with COVID-10 just five weeks after being vaccinated, the New York Post reports.

Francisco Cosme of Edison received the single-dose Johnson & Johnson vaccine at the Javits Center on March 6.

On April 1, he came down with a fever, chills and a cough, his daughter Michelle Torres told the NY Post.

The fourth COVID wave is canceled now. Dr. Anthony Fauci, Biden’s COVID czar, said so. In doing so, he delivered a nuclear strike against the narrative that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has been trying to conjure for days. We’re facing impending doom from spring breakers enjoying their time in the sun. Nothing happened. Let’s go back even further to the Conservative Political Action Conference that was held in Orlando last February. Where were the outbreak stories two weeks after that event? The CDC says the vaccinated can travel, only to backtrack in less than 36 hours. What is it, folks? I know many stopped listening to these clowns a long time ago, but now—with vaccinations rolling out swimmingly—it’s truly time to stop panicking. The CDC said a COVID doomsday is coming. Anthony Fauci, the nation’s top infectious diseases expert, on Tuesday said he is confident the mass vaccination effort underway in the United States will prevent another “explosion” of coronavirus cases and a fourth deadly wave of the pandemic.

“As long as we keep vaccinating people efficiently and effectively, I don’t think that’s gonna happen,” Fauci said of a fourth wave during an appearance on MSNBC’s Morning Joe. “That doesn’t mean that we’re not going to still see an increase in cases.”

Report: ‘Critical Race Theory’ Being Taught At West Point

. . .Rep. Michael Waltz (R-Fla.) sent a letter to West Point Superintendent Lt. Gen. Darryl Williams about “information” that recently came to his “attention from unsettled soldiers, cadets, and families that raises serious concerns about the U.S. Army’s introduction of elements of critical race theory into cadet instruction.”

“While we should always eradicate extremism of all forms from our ranks and never tolerate racism, I am alarmed that this doctrine that focuses our future leaders on race in ways that will be detrimental to unit cohesion, destructive to morale, and strain the readiness of our armed forces,” according to the letter.

Waltz told the Washington Examiner that he was able to speak with Williams.

“We had a brief phone call, he assured me they’re looking into it and assured me that I will promptly get a more formal response laying out what’s being taught and why in more detail,” Waltz told the Washington Examiner, adding, “We’re going to continue to press and get to the bottom of it.”

The congressman, in an interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, said that he got evidence of a West Point lecture, titled “Understanding Whiteness and White Rage,” adding that some families who spoke to him were disturbed by the content. Governor Blocks Biden Administration From Bringing Illegal Alien Children to State

Republican South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster issued an executive order Monday preventing the state from taking in undocumented migrant children and placing them in the state’s foster care and group home system.

The South Carolina Department of Social Services (DSS), in a letter dated April 8, told McMaster the federal government was making inquiries about possibly transporting an unknown number of migrant children from the southern border to be placed in the state’s childcare systems.

McMaster issued an executive order barring the state from taking unaccompanied minors in.

Biden to Nominate Cindy McCain for Coveted Ambassadorship

President Joe Biden is preparing to name Republican Cindy McCain to a coveted ambassador post in Western Europe in what would be his administration’s first Republican appointee to a Senate-confirmed position.

McCain is undergoing vetting to be nominated for U.S. ambassador to the U.N. World Food Programme, a mission based in Rome, according to two sources with knowledge of the matter. This comes after the administration declined to install at least one member from the opposing party in a Cabinet position — a practice of three consecutive presidents (Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama) before Donald Trump broke the streak.

Cindy McCain, the wife of the late Sen. John McCain, gave Biden a critical boost in Arizona with her endorsement of the Democrat over Trump. Biden was the first Democratic presidential nominee to carry the state since Clinton in 1996.
