State Passes Resolution Naming Trump ‘One of the Greatest’ Presidents

The Alabama Republican Party passed a unanimous resolution declaring former President Donald Trump “one of the greatest and most effective” presidents in US history, presenting him with a framed copy on Saturday, according to a report.

The memento was gifted to Trump during a reception at his Florida resort, Mar-a-Lago, on Saturday evening.

“The resolution, basically, it just talks about the greatness of Donald J. Trump, how he made America great again and I hope other states will follow suit,” Perry Hooper Jr., a former state representative and a member of the Alabama GOP’s executive committee, told Fox News prior to the ceremony. . .

The resolution declares Trump “one of the greatest and most effective presidents in the 245-year history of this Republic” and details some of his accomplishments in the Oval Office — and blasts his successor, President Biden. Dr. Fauci Wants Donald Trump’s Help with COVID

Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, now wants former President Donald Trump’s help after he has repeatedly taken shots at the former president in the months since the election.

Fauci made the remarks during an interview on Sunday with Fox News host Chris Wallace after Wallace played clips of four former presidents encouraging people to get vaccinated. . .

“Doctor, how much of a difference will it make if President Trump, who was largely responsible for the success of Operation Warp Speed, how much of a difference will it make if President Trump leads a campaign for the people who are most devoted to him to actually go out and get the vaccine?” Wallace asked.

Fauci responded by saying that if Trump led a campaign for his followers to get vaccinated that it “would make all the difference in the world.”

“He’s a very widely popular person among Republicans,” Fauci said. “If he came out and said, go and get vaccinated, it’s really important for your health, the health of your family and the health of the country, it seems absolutely inevitable that the vast majority of people who are his close followers would listen to him. He’s such a strongly popular person. I cannot imagine that if he comes out that they would not get vaccinated. It would be very helpful to the effort for that to happen.” (Read more from “Dr. Fauci Wants Donald Trump’s Help with COVID” HERE)

The Taxman Cometh: Biden Reportedly Planning Hikes for These Earners

On the heels of his $1.9 trillion coronavirus stimulus package, President Biden is planning the first major tax hike since 1993 to help pay for initiatives on infrastructure, climate and for continued assistance to America’s poor, according to a report Monday.

The boost could include an increase in the corporate tax rate and the individual rate for individuals earning over $400,000 per year, among others, Bloomberg News reported.

The outlet also reported the Biden administration sees adjusting the tax rate not only as a means to pay for projects, but also as an opportunity to control inequities in the economic system.

According to Bloomberg, proposals currently under consideration by the White House include raising the corporate tax rate to 28 percent from 21 percent, reining in tax preferences for “pass-through businesses,” raising the income tax rate on individuals earning more than $400,000, broadening the estate tax, and a higher capital gains tax rate for individuals earning at least $1 million per year.

Last month, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen signaled that a tax increase could be in the cards later in the year as part of a legislative package. (Read more from “The Taxman Cometh: Biden Reportedly Planning Hikes for These Earners” HERE)

Biden’s History of Alleged Inappropriate Touching Relevant Again as He Refuses to Condemn Alleged Perv Cuomo

President Biden refused to join the chorus of fellow Democrats calling for New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo to resign, as Cuomo faces multiple scandals, including allegations of improper touching.

Cuomo has denied any wrongdoing and claimed any unwanted contact or kissing was not meant to be offensive but simply his “customary” greeting. Biden has similarly defended himself from accusations that he has inappropriately touched women. . .

Biden’s statement followed accusations from multiple women who said he made them uncomfortable. Writer D.J. Hill told the New York Times that in 2012 while she and her husband posed for pictures with Biden he placed his hand on her shoulder and moved it down her back, making her “very uncomfortable.”

Former college student Caitlyn Caruso told the Times that she met Biden when she was 19 at an event about sexual assault that took place at University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Caruso claimed Biden placed his hand on her thigh and hugged her “just a little bit too long” – after Caruso had spoken about her own experience with sexual assault.

Vail Kohnert-Yount told the Washington Post that when she was a White House intern in 2013 she had an awkward encounter with the then-vice president when Biden came over to introduce himself. Boxing Legend Dies after Getting COVID Vaccine

Boxing legend Marvelous Marvin Hagler died at the age of 66 Saturday night, and an online battle has erupted over reports his death was a direct result of getting “the vaccine.”

Hours before the undisputed middleweight champion died, his fellow boxing great Thomas “Hit Man” Hearns noted Hagler was “fighting the after effects of the vaccine” before the former undisputed middleweight ultimately passed away.

Hearns’ full message on Instagram stated: “A real true warrior Pray for the king and his family.. he’s in ICU fighting the after effects of the vaccine! He’ll be just fine but we could use the positive energy and Prayer for his Full Recovery !”

A few hours after that prayer request, Hagler’s wife Kay announced her husband’s demise on Facebook, without mentioning the cause of death.

“I am sorry to make a very sad announcement. Today unfortunately my beloved husband Marvelous Marvin passed away unexpectedly at his home here in New Hampshire. Our family requests that you respect our privacy during this difficult time,” she wrote.

CRISIS: DHS Secretary Engages FEMA to Deal With Massive Illegal Immigration Surge

Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas has enlisted the Federal Emergency Management Agency to handle the ongoing unaccompanied minor and illegal immigration crisis at the southern border, which has exploded in recent weeks.

“I am grateful for the exceptional talent and responsiveness of the FEMA team,” Mayorkas said. “I am incredibly proud of the agents of the Border Patrol, who have been working around the clock in difficult circumstances to take care of children temporarily in our care. Yet, as I have said many times, a Border Patrol facility is no place for a child. We are working in partnership with HHS to address the needs of unaccompanied children, which is made only more difficult given the protocols and restrictions required to protect the public health and the health of the children themselves. Our goal is to ensure that unaccompanied children are transferred to HHS as quickly as possible, consistent with legal requirements and in the best interest of the children.”

People Hospitalized for ‘Unusual Symptoms’ After Taking New COVID Vaccine

Three Norwegian health care workers have been hospitalized after receiving the newly-unveiled single-dose AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, authorities have announced, which has led to a temporary suspension of giving out the shot.

Reuters reported that the workers experienced issues relating to blood clots and other vascular issues. Norwegian authorities did not say how long the distribution of the vaccine would be halted as those people remain hospitalized. . .

“They have very unusual symptoms: bleeding, blood clots and a low count of blood platelets,” [medical director Steinar] Madsen said. “They are quite sick … We take this very seriously.” (Read more from “People Hospitalized for ‘Unusual Symptoms’ After Taking New COVID Vaccine” HERE)

COVID Restrictions Had No Effect On Case Rates

Nearly a year after California Gov. Gavin Newsom ordered the nation’s first statewide shut down because of the coronavirus, masks remain mandated, indoor dining and other activities are significantly limited, and Disneyland remains closed.

By contrast, Florida has no statewide restrictions. Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis has prohibited municipalities from fining people who refuse to wear masks. And Disney World has been open since July.

Despite their differing approaches, California and Florida have experienced almost identical outcomes in COVID-19 case rates. . .

California and Florida both have a COVID-19 case rate of around 8,900 per 100,000 residents since the pandemic began, according to the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. And both rank in the middle among states for COVID-19 death rates—Florida was 27th as of Friday; California was 28th.

Connecticut and South Dakota are other examples. Both rank among the 10 worst states for COVID-19 death rates. Yet Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont, a Democrat, imposed numerous statewide restrictions over the past year after an early surge in deaths, while South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem, a Republican, issued no mandates as virus deaths soared in the fall. (Read more from “COVID Restrictions Had No Effect On Case Rates” HERE)

Ghislaine Maxwell’s Brother Says Her Family Had No Idea Where She Was

Ghislaine Maxwell’s brother says that none of the accused sex trafficker’s family members knew where she was before her arrest — nor that she had been married for years.

Complaining that his sister was being unfairly portrayed as a “monstrous creature,” Ian Maxwell told The Sunday Times of London that it was “simply a lie” that the media heiress had been hiding out from cops.

Yet despite insisting she was merely laying low from the press, he admitted that none of his family knew her address or even her phone number — and could only make contact through her lawyers.

He justified her extreme secrecy by saying that “people are able to eavesdrop, to hack.”

“Why not tap a phone? It was a mad bad time,” Ian Maxwell, 64, told the UK paper. (Read more from “Ghislaine Maxwell’s Brother Says Her Family Had No Idea Where She Was” HERE)
