A Mexican illegal alien living in Los Angeles was charged with orchestrating her own fake ICE “kidnapping” to generate sympathy and solicit donations, the Justice Department announced Thursday.

Yuriana Julia Pelaez Calderon, 41, a resident of South Los Angeles, was charged with conspiracy and making false statements to federal officers, the DOJ said.

Calderon had been living in the U.S. based on a federal law enforcement parole that expired in 2023. She is in federal custody after she allegedly faked her kidnapping.

This comes after local outlet KTLA reported on a news conference held by Calderon’s “loved ones and attorneys,” who claimed she had been “kidnapped” by uniformed men in unmarked cars June 25.

The outlet reported that a woman identified as an attorney named Stephano Medina claimed Calderon was cornered in a Jack in the Box parking lot in Los Angeles by men who did not identify themselves but were possibly bounty hunters. Medina claimed Calderon was taken to the border and presented to an “ICE staffer,” who demanded she sign self-deportation paperwork. Messy New Jersey Voter Rolls Have More Than 32,000 ‘Questionable’ Voter Records, Report Says

Registered New Jersey voters pick a new governor in the Nov. 4 general election, but before that the state really needs to clean up its voter list.

After reviewing New Jersey’s statewide voter roll, a report from the Public Interest Legal Foundation (PILF) shows an “urgent need for improved list maintenance practices,” after identifying more than 32,000 registration issues, many of which could allow people to vote more than once.

PILF found 14,059 duplicate registrations, with voters registered in New Jersey and at least one other state at the same time. But PILF did not look at all 50 states, meaning there are certainly more to be found. PILF identified duplicate registrations in New Jersey and Florida (6,972 cases), New York (5,725), and Pennsylvania (925).

PILF also found 15,655 registrations using fictitious birth dates, which are sometimes used as placeholders — such as New Jersey’s most common placeholder date, 1800-01-01, that is, 225 years ago. The PILF report found 5,166 such birthdates in Essex County, 2,108 in Passaic County, and 1,928 in Middlesex County.

Of the 15,655 registrations with bad birth dates, 85 percent are marked as active voters, the report shows. But PILF says it is an easy fix. The organization took a random sample of 10 such registrations and compared the “New Jersey voter roll, Social Security records, and Experian reports,” and within minutes found the correct birthdates for all 10. PILF found that seven voter registrations were accurate after the proper birth date was added; Social Security records indicated that two registered voters had died more than 20 years ago; and one individual had seemingly relocated to St. Lucie County, Florida, and registered to vote there in 2017. Now, these tens of thousands of folks have to stay in the UK because, “Oh no, they might be in danger from the Taliban, so now we have to fly them all to London.”

Was this just another convenient “oops,” or was the data breach just some excuse to flood the country with even more foreigners? That’s what many think happened, and you can’t blame them. Either way, the result is the same: a shady relocation scheme, approved in the dark, protected by a lawless superinjunction to gag the media and keep British citizens in the dark.

Britain set up a secret scheme to bring thousands of Afghans to the UK after their personal details were disclosed in one of the country’s worst ever data breaches, putting them at risk of reprisals from the Taliban after their return to power.

Concerns that individuals could be targeted by the Taliban led the previous Conservative government to set up the relocation scheme, involving thousands of people and estimated to cost the government about 2 billion pounds ($2.7 billion).

The leak by the Ministry of Defence in early 2022, which led to data being published on Facebook the following year, and the secret relocation programme, were subject to a so-called superinjunction preventing the media reporting what happened, which was lifted on Tuesday by a court.

This is raising serious questions about whether a federal insider—Carolyn Feinstein—is helping sabotage law enforcement from deep within the Trump administration.

So, what is ICEblock? As we mentioned above, it’s a doxxing app for ICE agents. It was launched in April 2025 by developer Joshua “Aaron” Feinstein. This app lets users anonymously report ICE sightings to notify others nearby. The irony is that AG Pam Bondi has called out this app for how dangerous it is, yet the wife of the developer is working in her department. Trump Threatens Lawsuit Against WSJ Over Alleged Epstein Letter

President Donald Trump has threatened to sue The Wall Street Journal, News Corp and Robert Murdoch after the outlet released a piece alleging that the president sent deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein a suggestive letter.

The WSJ reportedly obtained birthday letters to Epstein prior to his first arrest in 2018, alleging the president had sent a letter containing the “outline of a naked woman.” In response to the outlet’s allegations, Trump denied the letter, calling it a “fake thing.”

“I never wrote a picture in my life. I don’t draw pictures of women,” Trump told The WSJ. “It’s not my language. It’s not my words.”

“I’m gonna sue The WSJ just like I sued everyone else,” Trump added.

The outlet allegedly reviewed a letter bearing Trump’s name, describing it as “bawdy,” with “several lines of typewritten text.” The text reportedly formed the outline of “a naked woman,” which appeared to be “hand-drawn with a heavy marker.”

Wells Fargo halted all travel to China after an employee, Chenyue Mao, was reportedly prevented from leaving the country, according to Reuters. The banking giant is investigating the situation while assuring that efforts are underway to bring Mao back to the United States as soon as possible.

Mao, a seasoned banker and managing director at Wells Fargo, was allegedly detained by Chinese authorities during a recent trip. The Wall Street Journal cited sources familiar with the incident, indicating that Mao, who has worked at Wells Fargo for over a decade, was placed under an exit ban while in China. Wells Fargo said they are working through the proper channels to resolve the matter.

Mao, a U.S. citizen born in Shanghai and currently based in Atlanta, played a key role in Wells Fargo’s international factoring business. Mao’s interactions with Chinese firms have included trade financing and cross-border capital strategies. Despite this, the reason for Mao’s detention remains unclear, as no formal explanation from Chinese authorities has been provided. Army Apologizes for Describing Famed Pro-life Organization as ‘Terrorists’

The Army, caught describing pro-life members of the famed pro-life Operation Rescue organization and others as “terrorists,” already had admitted it was wrong to do that.

Now it is apologizing.

OR announced, “The Secretary of the Army Dan Driscol has issued a formal apology to Operation Rescue for mischaracterizing the pro-life organization as a terror group during a counterterrorism and security training presentation that was used to teach 9,100 Army soldiers at Fort Bragg.”

Driscol said, “This characterization was not only inaccurate but also deeply inappropriate.”

His response came in a letter to the American Center for Law and Justice, which represented Operation Rescue and its president, Troy Newman.

Migrant detainees being held in Florida’s “Alligator Alcatraz” have claimed conditions at the detention center are “grim,” citing how they’ve been fed “cold ham sandwiches,” according to The Washington Post.

Florida’s new detention center was officially approved by the Trump administration in June and opened weeks later, costing roughly $450 million for 5,000 beds to house illegal migrants and other foreign nationals. The Washington Post released a report Thursday with detainees, their relatives and former guards describing the conditions of the center.

According to the piece, sources who spoke anonymously described how the center allegedly suffered from water “pooling on the floors,” being fed “cold ham sandwiches” and lacking toiletries like deodorant, toothpaste and toothbrushes. A former guard and immigration attorney also told the outlet that, in order to pass time, the detainees were creating soccer balls out of towels and also “crafted dominoes” from cardboard lunch boxes.

Donald Trump Calls to Release ‘All Pertinent Grand Jury Testimony’ in Jeffrey Epstein Case

President Donald Trump called to release “all pertinent grand jury testimony” relating to the Jeffrey Epstein case in the wake of increased scrutiny over the convicted sex offender’s dealings with high-profile public figures.

Writing on his TruthSocial account, the president called the Epstein controversy a “scam” perpetuated by Democrats.

“Based on the ridiculous amount of publicity given to Jeffrey Epstein, I have asked Attorney General Pam Bondi to produce any and all pertinent Grand Jury testimony, subject to court approval. This SCAM, perpetuated by Democrats, should end, right now!” he wrote.

Attorney General Pam Bondi said in response, “President Trump—we are ready to move the court tomorrow to unseal the grand jury transcripts.”

On Thursday, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) claimed the existence of a letter allegedly bearing the president’s name, dated 2003, described as featuring “several lines of typewritten text surrounded by the outline of a naked woman, sketched in marker,” per Newsweek.

The illustration also includes two small arcs representing breasts, with Trump’s signature written below the waist and resembling pubic hair, the report said.

The letter reportedly concludes: “Happy Birthday — and may every day be another wonderful secret.”

Medical Center ‘Pauses’ Transgender Treatment for Minors after Trump’s Executive Order

Chicago’s Rush University Medical Center has “paused” sex-change treatment for minors following President Donald Trump’s executive order prohibiting federal research funding from going to institutions that offer hormone therapy, puberty blockers and sex-change surgery to children.

Spokesman Tobin Klinger said the hospital system will still offer such procedures to adults, but will stop so-called “gender affirming care” to new patients under the age of 18, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

“Rush continues to be a strong advocate for the LGBTQ+ community,” Klinger stated, adding that Rush will refer minors seeking transgender procedures to other hospitals.

The center had not done a “gender-affirming” surgery on a minor since 2023, but will now stop providing hormones and puberty blockers to new patients, the outlet reported.

Asher McMaher, executive director of Trans Up Front, said current transgender pediatric patients at Rush will still be able to continue.
