Tulsi Gabbard Rips Critics Calling Her ‘Transphobic’ Amid Congressional Exit

Democratic Rep. Tulsi Gabbard hit back at critics of legislation she’s introduced to prevent transgender women from competing in female sports and for the care of infant survivors of late-term abortion, calling them “hypocrites.”

A number of people called Gabbard, who leaves Congress this month, “transphobic” and a “right wing s—t heel” on Twitter, among other invectives.

“I welcome real criticism and debate,” Gabbard (D-Hawaii) told The Post Saturday. “But my so-called critics don’t want to debate the issues. They just want to engage in smears and slurs and name-calling and innuendo.”

Gabbard, 39, who decided to leave Congress last year to focus on her presidential bid, said she is “maximizing” the time she has left in office and said she fears for the U.S.

“Identity politics is having an incredibly destructive effect on our country rather than recognizing what connects all Americans,” she said. “It’s being done to help people and parties get in power and stay in power by pitting individual Americans against each other.” (Read more from “Tulsi Gabbard Rips Critics Calling Her ‘Transphobic’ Amid Congressional Exit” HERE)

SCOTUS DENIES TEXAS CASE, Incredibly Claims “No Standing” in an Original Jurisdiction Case; Justices Thomas and Alito Issue Tepid Dissent; Is Secession the Only Answer?

In an outrageous decision just minutes ago, the Supreme Court of the United States denied the State of Texas’s complaint regarding the 2020 presidential election. The Texas case, joined or supported by numerous other states claimed equal protection violations. Specifically, Texas argued that their citizens’ votes were diluted by votes from states like Pennsylvania that changed election rules unlawfully, or even after voting had started.

Only Justice Thomas and Alito dissented: “we do not have discretion to deny the filing of a bill of complaint in a case that falls within our original jurisdiction.” But Alito went on to add, “I would therefore grant the motion to file the bill of complaint but would not grant other relief, and I express no view on any other issue.”

The SCOTUS opinion can be found here and is below:

Texas GOP Floats Secession for Law-Abiding States

By Tal Axelrod. Texas GOP chair Allen West rebuked the high court in a statement, saying that “law-abiding states” should “form a Union” after the decision throwing out the lawsuit from Texas.

Seventeen other states and 126 House Republicans had backed Texas’s effort to overturn the election results in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin — four key states that secured President-elect Joe Biden’s win.

The court’s ruling, which said that Texas lacked the legal right to litigate over how other states conduct their elections, represented a devastating blow to efforts by President Trump and his allies to challenge the election results.

“The Supreme Court, in tossing the Texas lawsuit that was joined by seventeen states and 106 U.S. congressman, has decreed that a state can take unconstitutional actions and violate its own election law resulting in damaging effects on other states that abide by the law, while the guilty state suffers no consequences,” West said after the ruling. “This decision establishes a precedent that says states can violate the U.S. constitution and not be held accountable.

“This decision will have far-reaching ramifications for the future of our constitutional republic,” he continued. “Perhaps law-abiding states should bond together and form a Union of states that will abide by the constitution.” (Read more from “SCOTUS denies Texas Lawsuit” HERE)

Report: AG Barr Hid Federal Probes Into Hunter Biden for Months; Biden Is Poised to Hand Republicans an Incredible Tool to Investigate the Hunter Corruption Scandal

By New York Post. Attorney General William Barr knew about two contemporaneous federal investigations into Hunter Biden for months — and worked to keep them from the public ahead of the election, according to a new report.

The nation’s top law enforcement official avoided providing information about the probes to Republicans in Congress without explanation, a person familiar with the matter told the Wall Street Journal.

One of the investigations was made public this week, when the 50-year-old son of President-elect Joe Biden disclosed on Wednesday that he was being probed for possible tax fraud.

Hunter Biden is also implicated in a broader international financial investigation by federal prosecutors in Manhattan, two people familiar with the case told the Journal. That probe has been going on for at least a year. Hunter Biden, however, was never a specific target for criminal prosecution, according to the Journal.

Barr is said to have been aware of the federal scrutiny — which dates back to 2018 — into Hunter Biden since before the spring. But how and when he first learned of the probes isn’t clear. (Read more from “Report: AG Barr Hid Federal Probes Into Hunter Biden for Months” HERE)

Biden Is Poised to Hand Republicans an Incredible Tool to Investigate the Hunter Corruption Scandal

By The Federalist. China, Ukraine, tax fraud, corruption, and federal investigations. After a year of partisan attacks and obfuscations, media smears and derision, and Big Tech censorship and de-platformings, this week the Hunter Biden protection chamber finally collapsed.

As reporting by The New York Post, The Daily Caller News Foundation, James Rosen, Tucker Carlson, The Federalist, and others continues to pile up, corroborated drip by drip, so too do the questions for both the incoming Biden administration and the former Obama administration. Fortunately for interested U.S. senators, the two administrations are stacking up to be virtually identical — and they just might get the chance to ask a few questions. . .

All of these positions require Senate approval, and during the Obama years all of these people were in position to know a little — or a lot — about the vice president’s ne’er-do-well tag-along son and all his pastimes.

Step one for Republicans? Start with the facts and ask these sterling Obama-Biden veterans to acknowledge the reporting on Hunter’s alleged infractions. There’s more than a year of it already out there, and despite the Democratic-big tech-media campaign to suppress, discredit, and censor good reporting and even government statements, the now very-public grand jury and Department of Justice investigations demonstrate that earlier suspicions were at least worth digging into. Unfortunately for these nominees, by mid-winter 2021 even more will be known about the investigations, and what they’re uncovering.

Nominees before the Senate will have the choice to claim ignorance, cop up to the grimy details, or try to push back. No matter which door they choose, they’ll face some very awkward questioning. Time Magazine Naming Joe Biden ‘Person of the Year’ Makes Total Sense for Today’s Boot-Licking Media

Time Magazine unveiled former Vice President Joe Biden and running mate Kamala Harris its “Person of the Year” Friday, celebrating its annual ritual of naming a person, group, or idea the most critically important force on the face of the planet over the course of the last 12 months.

In choosing Biden-Harris, the magazine is keeping with the now-established tradition of giving its most prestigious honor to the winner of the presidential race in the year of the quadrennial election. In 2016, the magazine lauded President Donald Trump. In 2012, and 2008, it chose President Barack Obama. In 2004 and 2000, the publication awarded President George W. Bush. The paper skipped the presidential winner in 1996, but chose President Bill Clinton in 1992.

Winners of the presidential election were still afforded the honor throughout the 20th century, though it was far less common. Each president still graced the cover of the legacy magazine as its chosen “Person of the Year” since it launched the series in 1927, except for Presidents Herbert Hoover and Gerald Ford. So while its become common practice in this century to go with the winner of the election in an ordinary year this decade, it certainly hasn’t been a requirement, 2020 certainly hasn’t been ordinary.

Time’s 2020 cover feature of the Biden-Harris profile is reminiscent of the heroism portrayed of Stacey Abrams by the Washington Post earlier this year, casting the media’s revered Democratic figures as righteous champions of Democracy and serving as beacons of hope and freedom in the dystopian Trump-plagued era.

The more than 6,400-word profile is beaming with admiration for the man who, one might think coming away from reading it, is saving the nation from collapse. The piece declares the outgoing incumbent president a “minotaur,” while comparing Biden to Abraham Lincoln. Trump, the authors wrote, is a sick symptom of American racism and inequality “that undermines both its ideals and its functioning.”

GOP Rep. Seeks Ethics Investigation of Swalwell Relationship With China Spy

Retiring Republican Rep. Jim Sensenbrenner is asking the House Ethics Committee to investigate Rep. Eric Swalwell’s relationship with suspected Chinese spy Fang Fang.

Swalwell (D-Calif.) has refused to confirm or deny whether he had a romantic relationship with the woman also known as Christine Fang, who is suspected of sleeping with at least two Midwest mayors as part of her espionage work.

In a letter first reported by Fox News, Sensenbrenner (R-Wis.) wrote, “Rep. Swalwell repeatedly refuses to answer any questions about these allegations, including whether he alerted then-[Minority] Leader [Nancy] Pelosi to the potential compromise when she appointed him” to the House intelligence committee.

Sensenbrenner is a former longtime chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. The Democratic chairman of the ethics committee, Rep. Ted Deutch of Florida, would have to consent to a Swalwell probe.

“It is unknown how much private and/or classified information Fang had access to as a result of her relationship with Rep. Swalwell and whether Rep. Swalwell was compromised,” Sensenbrenner wrote. (Read more from “GOP Rep. Seeks Ethics Investigation of Swalwell Relationship With China Spy” HERE)

‘Don’t Let A Man In A Dress Rule Us’: Highway Sign Mocking Health Secretary Draws Criticism

A sign along U.S. Highway 19 entering the town of Waterford in Eric County created quite a stir of responses on social media this week as it mocked Pennsylvania Secretary of Health, Dr. Rachel Levine.

The message on the sign reads, “Don’t let a man in a dress rule us Waterford!” The Washington Times reported. Dr. Levine, who was born Richard Levine and had two children before transitioning to a female in 2011, has been the recipient of public scrutiny in regards to many of Pennsylvania’s COVID-19 restrictions.

Prosecutor Booted From McCloskey Gun Case

The circuit attorney for the city of St. Louis has been disqualified from prosecuting Mark and Patricia McCloskey, a local couple facing felony charges after defending their home with weapons when protesters marched through their neighborhood in June, according to reports.

The content of some campaign fundraising emails by Circuit Attorney Kim Gardner infringed on the McCloskeys’ right to receive a fair trial, Circuit Judge Thomas Clark II ruled Thursday, according to the St. Louis Post Dispatch.

Gardner’s emails suggested that by charging the McCloskeys in July, she appeared to have “initiated a criminal prosecution for political purposes,” the judge wrote, according to the newspaper. (Read more from “Prosecutor Booted From McCloskey Gun Case” HERE)

Federal Agents Raid Company That Makes Gun Parts

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) on Thursday raided a popular gun component manufacturer under suspicion that the organization was selling firearms without mandating background checks.

Polymer80, one of the nation’s leading sellers of unserialized gun components and DIY firearm kits, was suspected of illegally distributing and manufacturing guns and failing to conduct background checks, according to The Wall Street Journal. The ATF raided the Nevada business, despite 80% receivers, which the corporation primarily sells, being legal and not considered firearms, according to the government body’s website.

The investigation focused primarily on the company’s “Buy Build Shoot Kit,” which includes an 80% finished handgun frame and the components necessary to assemble that frame into a complete Polymer80 handgun, according to WSJ, which cited an ATF warrant. The agency determined that the set sold together meets the definition of a firearm and thereby would require a background check for purchasing, WSJ reported.

Disturbing: Artist Plans Display Filled With Human Blood To ‘Confront’ Trump Supporters

Russian born and France based artist Andrei Molodkin is planning to display an art exhibit, entitled “The White House Filled With the Blood of US Citizens,” filled with human blood, he says it meant to “confront” supporters of President Donald Trump.

The display will be erected in Washington, D.C., according to a report by The Hill.

“The use of human blood is required to interrogate the existing political system,” said Andrei Molodkin. “I have questions about why people have to give their blood for an ideology so I say, if you have to give your blood, give it to art or to something that you’re free to choose.” . . .

The artist’s piece, however, may seem bizarre to many Trump supporters, as the president has never gotten the United States involved in a war, unlike his predecessors. (Read more from “Disturbing: Artist Plans Display Filled With Human Blood To ‘Confront’ Trump Supporters” HERE)

Maybe One of Biden’s ‘Experts’ Can Explain To Him How FDA Approval Works; Melinda Gates Is ‘Incredibly Disappointed’ Trump Put Americans First; FDA Panel Recommends Use of Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine

By Townhall. Joe Biden has billed himself as a leader who will work in “lockstep” with experts when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic. Well, a good place for him to start would be to learn the difference between an FDA advisory panel’s recommendation for approval of a drug and actual FDA approval. . .

Following Thursday’s recommendation, Joe Biden released a statement on the FDA’s “approval” of the Pfizer vaccine candidate, which hasn’t happened yet.

“Yesterday marked another tragic milestone in our fight against COVID-19,” Biden’s statement began. “But today’s approval by the Food & Drug Administration of the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine is a bright light in a needlessly dark time.”

An expert or anybody who read the news about the committee’s recommendation to approve the vaccine candidate could have explained the process to Joe.

“Vaccines don’t equal vaccinations,” Biden lectured. “Our challenge now is to scale up manufacturing and distribution to distribute 100 million shots in the first 100 days of my administration.”

Melinda Gates Is ‘Incredibly Disappointed’ That Americans Will Get the Vaccine First

By Townhall. Billionaire globalist Melinda Gates is “incredibly disappointed” that President Trump has put Americans first in line to receive the Wuhan coronavirus vaccine.

Gates, co-chair of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, told CNN’s Poppy Harlow that it’s America’s and other high-income countries’ responsibility to make sure impoverished nations get access to the vaccine just as quickly as everyone else.

“Everybody needs this vaccine,” complained Gates. “If we only get it to the high-income countries, this disease is going to bounce around. We’re going to see twice as many deaths. And our recovery of our economies is going to be much slower than if we get the vaccine out to everybody.” . . .

Melinda Gates, who warns about so-called “vaccine nationalism,” said President Trump’s executive order putting Americans first in line to receive the vaccine “is exactly what we were worried about.”

Gates said Trump should invoke the Defense Production Act, for the umpteenth time, and scale up “lots and lots of manufacturing so that not just the U.S. gets vaccines but everybody gets vaccines.” (Read more from “Melinda Gates Is ‘Incredibly Disappointed’ That Americans Will Get the Vaccine First” HERE)

FDA Panel Recommends Use of Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine

By CBS News. A federal advisory panel on Thursday recommended the emergency use of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine. The Food and Drug Administration is expected to approve the drug, kicking off a massive nationwide operation to get nearly 3 million doses of the vaccine to hospitals and drug stores across the country.

“We’ve been working very closely with our state and local partners to make sure they have plans in place to identify providers that are able to receive, store and use the vaccine,” said Dr. Anita Patel, deputy of the CDC’s vaccine task force.

The experts voted 17 to 4 in favor of recommending the drug for emergency use for people aged 16 years and older, with one of the members withholding. Health care workers and nursing home residents will be among the first to get the vaccine.

Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla applauded the panel’s decision. “We are pleased with the strong majority vote, and if the FDA issues an authorization, stand at the ready to bring this vaccine to people in the U.S. in an effort to help combat this devastating pandemic,” Bourla said in a statement.

The FDA, however, is not required to follow the panel’s advice. “After we receive recommendations, we will incorporate that into our decision,” Stephen Hahn, the agency’s commissioner, told “CBS This Morning,” calling the endorsement “nonbinding.” (Read more from “FDA Panel Recommends Use of Pfizer COVID-19 Vaccine” HERE)
