Trump Won Highest Share of Non-White Vote of Any Republican Since 1960

President Trump has won the highest share of non-white voters of any Republican presidential candidate since 1960, according to preliminary results from Tuesday’s election.

Roughly one quarter of non-white voters cast their ballots for Trump, according to an Edison exit poll. If the poll is an accurate reflection of final results, Trump will have won over more non-white voters than any Republican since Richard Nixon, who won 32 percent of the non-white vote in 1960 but lost to John F. Kennedy. Trump will also have improved on his performance in the 2016 election when he won 21 percent of the non-white vote.

. . . 18 percent of black men voted for Trump in 2020 compared with 13 percent in 2016, and black women increased support for Trump from 4 percent in 2016 to 8 percent in 2020. . . It appears that support among Latinos buoyed Trump victories in several key counties in the Sun Belt. Trump was able to score a win in Zapata County, Texas, by 52-to-47 percent over Joe Biden. The county’s population is 94.7 percent Hispanic, and elected Hillary Clinton over Trump in 2016 by 65-32 percent. Biden Launches ‘Transition Team’ Website

Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and vice presidential candidate Kamala Harris on Wednesday launched a “transition team” website after securing projected wins in several key battleground states.

The website, which currently consists of just a landing page, says that the “American people will determine who will serve as the next President of the United States.”

“Votes are still being counted in several states around the country. The crises facing the country are severe — from a pandemic to an economic recession, climate change to racial injustice — and the transition team will continue preparing at full speed so that the Biden-Harris administration can hit the ground running on Day One,” the site adds. Democratic Lockdown Governors ‘Fully Prepared to Put People in Jail’

Democratic governors by nature are big-government, take-control, tell-the-populace-how-to-act politicians.

And Rush Limbaugh is warning residents in their states to beware amid reports of a rise in COVID-19 cases.

His comments came after a listener suggested it’s time to “get rid of the stupid mask mandates … get back to hugging each other and shaking hands. Let’s go back to church … Let’s just take our country back.”

“I feel duty-bound to warn you,” Limbaugh said, that some Democratic governors “are fully prepared to put people in jail if they violate these edicts.”

He cited some of California Gov. Gavin Newsom’s rules: “You can only have a certain number of people over for Thanksgiving, gotta wear a mask the whole damn time you’re inside except when you’re eating and you gotta put ’em back on soon as you’re finished eating. You can only have certain family members over. It’s restrictive as it can be. And it’s an attempt to shut down Thanksgiving. Christmas is gonna be the same way. Report: Trump Campaign Assembling ‘All-Star’ Legal Team

President Donald Trump’s re-election campaign is assembling an “all-star” legal team to spearhead legal challenges in battleground states such as Michigan, according to a Wednesday report.

Just The News’ John Solomon reports:

Among the lawyers the president is activating include his private attorney Jay Sekulow, who will help campaign lawyers with matters before the Supreme Court as well as former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani and former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, officials said.

Sidney Powell, the lawyer for former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, may also be called upon, officials said.

The report comes hours after the Trump campaign filed lawsuits to halt vote counts in Michigan and Pennsylvania, another key battleground state. (Read more from “Report: Trump Campaign Assembling ‘All-Star’ Legal Team” HERE)

GOP Poised to Maintain Majority in U.S. Senate

Republicans are poised to maintain their majority in the U.S. Senate as of Wednesday morning, November 4.

The GOP began election day with a 53 to 47 margin over the Democrats (and two Independents who caucus with the Democrats) in the Senate.

As of 11:45 a.m. eastern time, the Democrats have picked up two Senate seats. One pickup is in Colorado, where Democrat John Hickenlooper has defeated incumbent Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO) 53.9 percent to 44 percent, with 85 percent of precincts reporting. The other is in Arizona, where Democrat challenger Mark Kelly, the former astronaut, defeated incumbent Sen. Martha McSally by a 52.6 percent to 47.4 percent margin with 87 percent of precincts reporting.

Republicans have countered with a pickup of their own in Alabama, where Republican Tommy Tuberville, the former head football coach at Auburn University, has defeated incumbent Sen. Doug Jones (D-AL) by a 60.4 percent to 39.6 percent margin with 98 percent of precincts reporting.

Republicans have held strong in several states that were thought to be contested. (Read more from “GOP Poised to Maintain Majority in U.S. Senate” HERE)

Election Unrest Breaks Out in Major Cities

By Washington Examiner. Civil unrest erupted in cities nationwide Tuesday night into early Wednesday as protesters became violent waiting for the results of the presidential election.

Hundreds gathered in Black Lives Matter Plaza, a three-block strip running north of the White House. Police took three people involved in fights into custody before midnight, though the Metropolitan Police Department has not released information on arrests related to the protests.

Hundreds of people, most dressed in black clothing and many carrying black umbrellas despite no rain, marched to the plaza, then to other parts of downtown.

Marchers in Washington walked down the street carrying a sign that read “Burn down the American plantation” while chanting, “If we don’t get it, burn it down!” Others shot off fireworks in the streets, lit a trash can on fire, and burned an American flag.

Police in south Minneapolis arrested 13 women and one man overnight who spray-painted businesses and may have committed arson, according to police spokesman John Elder. Those arrested are expected to face riot charges. (Read more from “Election Unrest Breaks Out in Major Cities” HERE)

Protests Erupt in Philadelphia Related to Election Unrest, Police Shooting of Walter Wallace Jr.

By Fox News. In Philadelphia, two protests, one called to ensure that votes in the city are counted and another protesting the police killing of a city man, merged Wednesday night.

County Every Vote activists, who are part of a larger coalition of activists throughout the country who want ensure all votes are counted in the presidential election combined with protesters calling for the termination of officers involved in the shooting of 27-year old Black man Walter Wallace Jr.

The combined protest gathered in front of Independence Hall, which extended for a few blocks, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer. They had marched from City Hall before arriving at the site where the Declaration of Independence was signed and then marched to Mayor Jim Kenney’s home in Old City, according to the Inquirer.

Team Trump Predicts Reelection by Friday

President Trump’s team has a message for Joe Biden: Not so fast.

With Biden poised to suggest he won the election despite millions of votes set to be counted, the Trump campaign Wednesday afternoon said that its data shows that it will cross the needed 270 electoral votes by Friday, securing a second term and robbing the Democrat of a victory virtually every media pollster gave to Biden.

“By the end of this week, it will be clear to the entire nation that President Trump and Vice President Pence will be elected for another four years,” said campaign adviser Jason Miller.

In a call to talk numbers, the campaign said that its data operation believes it will get the votes needed to win in Pennsylvania and Arizona, and, when added to the expected Georgia and North Carolina wins, a second term will be assured. . .

“Over these next couple of days, as these ballots come in and are counted in the state of Arizona, that we could be looking at, potentially as soon as Friday, President Trump being declared the winner or it being clear that he has enough votes to formally say he will win the state of Arizona,” said Miller. Yes, Democrats Are Trying to Steal the Election in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania

As of this writing, it appears that Democratic Party machines in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania are trying to steal the election.

As reporters and commentators went to bed early Tuesday morning, all three states were too close to call, but President Trump led former Vice President Joe Biden by comfortable margins—far beyond what had been predicted in the polls. None of the networks called these states because enough mail-in ballots remained uncounted that it could swing either way, but Trump’s position looked good.

Then, something strange happened in the dead of the night. In both Michigan and Wisconsin, vote dumps early Wednesday morning showed 100 percent of the votes going for Biden and zero percent—that’s zero, so not even one vote—for Trump. . .

Buzzfeed later reported that according to a spokesperson at Decision Desk HQ, the votes for Biden were the result of a “data error” from a “file created by the state that we ingested.” When the state noticed the “error” it updated its count, which somehow gave 138,339 votes to Biden and zero to Trump.

It turns out, the vote dump was the result of an alleged typo, an extra zero that had been tacked onto Biden’s vote total in Shiawassee County, Michigan. It seems the error was discovered only because Davis and other Twitter users noted how insane and suspicious the vote totals looked, and demanded an investigation that uncovered what was either a typo or an incredibly clumsy attempt to boost Biden’s vote count.

House Democrats Shocked by Election Day Losses

While the presidential election hangs in the balance Wednesday morning with outstanding votes to be counted in six states and no clear winner, House Democrats received an Election Day shock, losing at least six seats and potentially more as the votes continue to be counted.

Projections that Democrats would win a dozen seats in the House of Representatives and oust several Republican incumbents proved “completely wrong,” Politico’s Jake Sherman and Anna Palmer wrote in their morning newsletter Wednesday.

Both Democrats and Republicans expected the Democratic House majority to expand — it didn’t. Republicans won upset victories over several Democratic incumbents and now could gain as much as 10 seats in a year the media raised the possibility they’d lose as many as 15 or more.

Democrats will retain majority control in the House, but that majority will be smaller as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) must grapple with some stinging defeats.

“We have held the House and now, when — after all the votes are counted, we’ll see how much better we will do than that,” Pelosi said in a statement. “We are in a situation where some of the states have just said we’re not counting any more until tomorrow morning and, of course, the West Coast has not chimed in yet, so there’s more to come.” (Read more from “House Democrats Shocked by Election Day Losses” HERE)

Trump Campaign Files Suit in Michigan, Pennsylvania

By Daily Wire. The Trump campaign on Wednesday said it has filed a lawsuit in Michigan demanding that the counting of ballots there immediately cease.

“As votes in Michigan continue to be counted, the presidential race in the state remains extremely tight as we always knew it would be,” said Bill Stepien, Trump 2020 campaign manager.

“President Trump’s campaign has not been provided with meaningful access to numerous counting locations to observe the opening of ballots and the counting process, as guaranteed by Michigan law. We have filed suit today in the Michigan Court of Claims to halt counting until meaningful access has been granted,” he said in a statement. Trump Campaign Says It’s Suing to Stop Pennsylvania’s Vote Count Over Lack of ‘Transparency’

By CBS News. President Donald Trump’s campaign has filed lawsuits to stop the counting of mail-in votes in both Michigan and Pennsylvania. They argue they’re not being given proper access to watch what’s happening.

In Pennsylvania, with 85% of the vote counted, Trump has a 320,000-vote lead.

His campaign has declared victory in the state, saying the math is not there for Joe Biden to win Pennsylvania.

Philadelphia’s mail-in ballots are being opened and scanned inside the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Center City. It’s a process with no firm time for when it will end.

About 10,000 ballots are being counted every hour at the convention center. Workers won’t stop until the job is finished. (Read more from “Trump Campaign Says It’s Suing to Stop Pennsylvania’s Vote Count Over Lack of ‘Transparency’” HERE)
