Democrats Change Their Mind, OK With In-Person Voting

The Democrats’ hopes of having the November election completely ballot harvested by mail are in tatters, following a string of court losses and a strategy that appears to have backfired. Democrats are now scrambling to reassure their worried base that voting in-person during the coronavirus is safe after all. Disregard their previous hysteria over the past six months.

Democrats, ever confident in the media’s ability to gaslight the American people, are now telling voters that it’s completely safe to cast your ballot in-person come November. Democrats spent months accusing people of not caring about human life if they opposed Crazy Nancy’s plan to mail 160 million ballots out and allow paid campaign operatives (harvesters) to go around collecting them. What could possibly go wrong with the Antifa mob showing up at your door to make sure your ballot is filled out correctly? . . .

Democrats never believed their own hysteria over voting in-person. In early May, Democrats added three polling centers in Democrat-rich cities in California in a last-minute effort to keep the state’s 25th congressional district blue in a special election to replace disgraced former-Rep. Katie Hill (D). Democrats purposefully set up a polling center in the most diverse part of the district, even knowing the coronavirus disproportionately kills minorities. If they believed in-person voting would be a super-spreader event, why would Democrats risk the lives of their constituents? And let’s not forget the media also greenlit the leftist riots for months. Trump Announces $13B Worth of New Relief Funding for U.S. Farmers

President Trump pledged tens of billions of dollars’ worth of additional aid on Thursday to help distressed farmers that have suffered throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

During a rally in Mosinee, Wisconsin, Trump said the government will dole out $13 billion worth of relief.

“I’m proud to announce I’m doing more to support Wisconsin farmers,” Trump said, “Starting next week my administration is committing an additional … $13 billion in relief to help farmers recover from the China virus.” . . .

About $19 billion worth of funding was authorized by Trump and U.S. Agriculture Secretary Sonny Perdue in April. Under that act, the government was slated to purchase $3 billion in produce, dairy and meat products as well as issue $16-billion worth of direct payments to ranchers and farmers. Majority of Voters Want ‘Blue Lives Matter’ Laws Punishing Attacks on Police

A majority of likely U.S. voters believes the country is experiencing a war on police and that politicians should enact policy classifying attacks on cops as hate crimes, according to a new poll.

Released on Thursday, Rasmussen’s polling came amid a wave of calls to defund police and a swell in anti-police sentiment. Since 2018, the percentage of likely voters who believes there’s a war on cops has increased from 43% to 59%.

The latest data represented a slight uptick from the 58% high reported in 2015. Meanwhile, 29% disagreed with that view and 12% reported as undecided. The poll has a 3% margin of error.

Rasmussen conducted the poll with 1,000 likely voters on Sept. 15-16, as news surfaced that police officers were attacked in Los Angeles and other cities. Earlier this week, footage emerged in which an assailant walked up to a LAPD car and shot two deputies who were inside the vehicle.

Those types of attacks should be considered hate crimes, according to 59% of likely voters. Support for those so-called “Blue Lives Matter” laws is unchanged from 2016 when Rasmussen polled the issue. That proposal, previously adopted by Louisiana, faced opposition from 25% of voters while 16% were undecided. Devastating: A Majority of COVID-19 Lockdown Business Closures Are Permanent

By CNBC. Yelp on Wednesday released its latest Economic Impact Report, revealing business closures across the U.S. are increasing as a result of the coronavirus pandemic’s economic toll.

As of Aug, 31, 163,735 businesses have indicated on Yelp that they have closed. That’s down from the 180,000 that closed at the very beginning of the pandemic. However, it actually shows a 23% increase in the number of closures since mid-July.

In addition to monitoring closed businesses, Yelp also takes into account the businesses whose closures have become permanent. That number has steadily increased throughout the past six months, now reaching 97,966, representing 60% of closed businesses that won’t be reopening.

“Overall, Yelp’s data shows that business closures have continued to rise with a 34% increase in permanent closures since our last report in mid-July,” Justin Norman, vice president of data science at Yelp, told CNBC.

Yelp’s September report marks six months since March 1, the date that the company considers to be the beginning of the business crisis. (Read more from “A Majority of COVID-19 Lockdown Business Closures Are Permanent” HERE)

Trump, Biden Spar Over COVID-19 Vaccine Development

By Newsweek. Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden claims President Donald Trump could be rushing the development of a COVID-19 vaccine to score political points in the November election, while Trump’s allies are accusing Biden of promoting “anti-vaccine conspiracy theories.”

The fight over the monumental scientific undertaking is one of many between Trump and Biden related to the nation’s coronavirus response, but new polls suggest that public confidence in vaccines may be taking the biggest blow as the two political rivals brawl. . .

During a town hall discussion hosted by ABC News Tuesday, Trump said he believes a vaccine could be ready for distribution in a matter of weeks.

“We’re very close to having a vaccine,” he told ABC’s George Stephanopoulos. “Could be three weeks, four weeks.” (Read more from “Trump, Biden Spar Over COVID-19 Vaccine Development” HERE)

FBI Raids Home of Netflix Star and Biden Surrogate Over Underage Sex Allegation

A man featured in a campaign video with Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden is under federal investigation for soliciting sex with minors, according to USA Today.

Federal agents raided the Illinois home of Jerry Harris, who gained notoriety due to his role in the Netflix documentary Cheer, Monday afternoon as part of a probe into messages sent to minors asking for explicit photos and to meet for sex. The solicitations were flagged for authorities by the 21-year-old’s employer.

Just three months ago the Biden campaign used Harris, who has over a million followers on Instagram, as part of Biden’s push to sway young voters and “win back the internet,” Time magazine reported. The Instagram live video of Harris and Biden was viewed nearly 300,000 times. . .

“Together we have the power to make a real change,” Harris wrote in the June 12 post. (Read more from “FBI Raids Home of Netflix Star and Biden Surrogate Over Underage Sex Allegation” HERE)

This State Will Accept Mail-In Ballots Regardless of Matching Signatures

With concerns rising in Pennsylvania that tens of thousands of mail-in ballots will be discarded in the presidential election over technicalities, officials in the presidential battleground told counties they aren’t allowed to reject a ballot solely because an election official believes a signature doesn’t match the one in the voter’s file.

The new guidance from Pennsylvania’s Department of State — that state law does not allow counties to set aside mail-in ballots based on their signature analysis — prompted the League of Women Voters of Pennsylvania and the Urban League of Greater Pittsburgh to drop a lawsuit in federal court Monday. . .

“As a result of this case, Pennsylvania voters can cast their vote without fear that their ballot could be rejected solely because an election official — who isn’t trained in handwriting analysis — thinks their signatures don’t match,” said Mark Gaber, a Campaign Legal Center lawyer who represented the groups in court. Cost of Recent Riot Damages Are the Worst in U.S. History

For months Democrat “leaders” in cities around the country have refused to squash violent Black Lives Matter rioting in their cities. The damage to communities has been significant and devastating.

Now, a new assessment first reported by Axios shows the financial cost of the rioting is on its way to at least $2 billion, making it the most expensive in history.

The vandalism and looting following the death of George Floyd at the hands of the Minneapolis police will cost the insurance industry more than any other violent demonstrations in recent history, Axios has learned.

That number could be as much as $2 billion and possibly more, according to the Insurance Information Institute (or Triple-I), which compiles information from PCS as well as other firms that report such statistics.

U.S. Ambassador Says Trump Never Disparaged War Veterans

President Trump never bashed America’s war dead as “losers,” according to the US ambassador to France and Monaco — who was there the day he’s accused of making the disparaging remarks.

Ambassador Jamie McCourt is the latest public official to push back against the report published by The Atlantic late last week.

“In my presence, POTUS has NEVER denigrated any member of the US military or anyone in service to our country. And he certainly did not that day, either,” McCourt told Breitbart News in an exclusive interview.

“Let me add, he was devastated to not be able to go to the cemetery at Belleau Wood. In fact, the next day, he attended and spoke at the ceremony in Suresnes in the pouring rain.” . . .

McCourt was present in 2018 on the day Trump had to call off a trip to the Belleau Wood cemetery because of inclement weather. She denied speaking to The Atlantic, which based its report on “four people with firsthand knowledge of the discussion that day.” (Read more from “U.S. Ambassador Says Trump Never Disparaged War Veterans” HERE)

Pro-Communist China Group Funding BLM-Linked Organization

The pro-communist China group, the Chinese Progressive Association (CPA) in San Francisco, is actively funding a venture by Black Lives Matter (BLM) co-founder and unabashedly anti-capitalist Alicia Garza.

On Tuesday, the Daily Signal first revealed that the Marxist-oriented CPA in San Francisco was handling donations for the Black Futures Lab group, described as the lobbying arm of Garza’s global “revolutionary empire.”

Clicking on the “Donate” button of the project’s website redirects visitors to a San Francisco CPA page that says, “Black Futures Lab is a fiscally sponsored project of the Chinese Progressive Association. CPA is a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt organization.”

The San Francisco-based CPA has reported millions of dollars in contributions in recent years. CPA is no stranger to the BLM movement. In June, the state-sponsored newspaper China Daily heaped praised on CPA members for supporting a BLM demonstration in San Francisco. . .

An authoritative 2009 Stanford University paper on the 1972 origins of CPA revealed that the organization began as a promoter of the People’s Republic of China (PRC). However, the report indicated that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), the founding and sole government political party of the PRC, did not control nor direct the group at the start. President Trump Takes Lead in New National Poll; Trump Moves to Expand Electoral Map by Flipping Clinton-Won States

By Breitbart. President Donald Trump has taken a 47 to 46 percent national lead from the aging and enfeebled Joe Biden in the latest polling from Rasmussen.

“The survey of 2,500 Likely Voters was conducted September 9-10 and 13-15,” per the polling firm, and this is more proof of Trump’s momentum. In this same poll last week, Biden was up 48 to 46 percent. The week prior Biden was up 49 to 45 percent. That is a steady five point total shift in Trump’s direction over two weeks.

In Rasmussen’s daily tracking poll, Trump now enjoys a 52 percent job approval rating, compared to just 46 percent who disapprove. That puts him six points above water after a dismal summer that saw those numbers reversed (and worse) at times.

A good faith search of Trump’s disapproval rating, shows that 46 percent number might he his lowest yet in this particular poll. . .

While Rasmussen is a bit of an outlier, there’s no question the momentum is with the president. Ever since the conventions, not even the national political media’s fake attack on Trump using lies about the president demeaning dead Marines has slowed his momentum in the state and national polling. Trump Moves to Expand Electoral Map by Flipping Clinton-Won States

By Washington Examiner. President Trump is pushing to expand the electoral map to include states he narrowly lost to Hillary Clinton in 2016, despite being threatened in the ones where he was victorious.

Trump campaigned Sunday in Nevada, with a large indoor rally in Henderson. He will appear in Minnesota this week. And he held a rally in New Hampshire late last month, the day after delivering his acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention from the White House.

“We’re going to win. We’re going to win,” Trump vowed in Manchester. “Does anybody have any doubt?”

The move comes as polls show Trump in a tight race in Florida and North Carolina while trailing in polling averages for Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. These are all states Trump carried four years ago, though mostly by small margins. (Read more from “Trump Moves to Expand Electoral Map by Flipping Clinton-Won States” HERE)
