Dem Under Fire After Sharing Business Card of ICE Officer With Violent Protesters

Democratic Congressman Rep. Salud Carbajal (D-CA) is under fire for allegedly putting an ICE employee’s safety at risk by sharing their business card with a violent mob during last week’s cannabis farm raids. The reckless act led to the ICE officer being targeted and injured by rocks thrown by the hostile crowd.

According to Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE), Carbajal joined a violent mob that tried to block federal law enforcement during a raid on a California marijuana facility. While Carbajal called the protests “peaceful,” the agency argued that the protestors were throwing rocks and injuring at least one ICE officer. They also claimed that Carbajal doxed an officer by sharing his business card with the crowd. ICE warned that such actions and rhetoric have contributed to a sharp rise in attacks on officers and accused Carbajal of prioritizing violence over law and order. Supreme Court Lets Trump Admin Move Forward With Slashing Education Department Staff

The Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration on Monday to move forward with major cuts to the Department of Education.

The majority paused a lower court order requiring the administration to reinstate nearly 1,400 employees.

In May, a Biden-appointed federal judge blocked the department’s effort to eliminate nearly half of its employees.

“Today, the Supreme Court again confirmed the obvious: the President of the United States, as the head of the Executive Branch, has the ultimate authority to make decisions about staffing levels, administrative organization, and day-to-day operations of federal agencies,” U.S. Secretary of Education Linda McMahon said in a statement. “While today’s ruling is a significant win for students and families, it is a shame that the highest court in the land had to step in to allow President Trump to advance the reforms Americans elected him to deliver using the authorities granted to him by the U.S. Constitution.”

Justices Elena Kagan, Sonia Sotomayor and Ketanji Brown Jackson dissented. (Read more from “Supreme Court Lets Trump Admin Move Forward With Slashing Education Department Staff” HERE)

Donald Trump: ‘I Guarantee’ Biden Didn’t Know What He Was Signing with the Autopen

President Donald Trump asserted Monday that former President Joe Biden was unaware of what his autopen signature was being used for after Biden admitted he did not individually review many of the sweeping pardons doled out at the end of his term.

Though Biden did not individually sign off on the names in the batches of categorical pardons, a New York Times report claims “he signed off on the standards he wanted to be used to determine which convicts would qualify for a reduction in sentence,” and his team ran a final list of convicts through the autopen:

Mr. Biden did not individually approve each name for the categorical pardons that applied to large numbers of people, he and aides confirmed. Rather, after extensive discussion of different possible criteria, he signed off on the standards he wanted to be used to determine which convicts would qualify for a reduction in sentence.

Even after Mr. Biden made that decision, one former aide said, the Bureau of Prisons kept providing additional information about specific inmates, resulting in small changes to the list. Rather than ask Mr. Biden to keep signing revised versions, his staff waited and then ran the final version through the autopen, which they saw as a routine procedure, the aide said.

Video Appears To Show Woman Plow Through Anti-ICE Protesters, Injuring 3, Police Say

Video posted to Facebook appears to show a woman plow through anti-ICE protesters Saturday in New Jersey, injuring three, and is now facing charges, according to police.

The videos shows a gray SUV slowly approach a crowd of protesters marching against ICE raids when a one protester approaches the driver. The woman behind the wheel, Linda Roglen, then begins to proceed and the protester falls to the ground while others gather around to stop the car. Roglen then rolls up her window and drive through the crowd and leaves the scene.

Roglen has been charged with careless driving, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and four counts of assault with a car resulting in bodily injury, according to the New York Post. Several protesters suffered injuries and one was taken to the hospital, News 12 reported.

The protest was organized by a group called “United Against Fear,” according to the New York Post. Several witnesses described the scene, with one man saying “I don’t know what they said, but they just say something to each other and he spits in her face.” “I was scared though, honestly, like for those people. Because you never know, man. Something like that, you could die. That’s scary,” the man added. Top Trump Officials Admit They’re Pissed At How The Epstein Story Was Handled

Top administration officials admitted to the Daily Caller that they are upset with the way the investigation into the Jeffrey Epstein files was handled and explained some of the missteps made along the way.

Coming off the July 4 holiday weekend on Sunday night, Axios published a memo from the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) announcing that their investigation found no evidence that convicted sex offender and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein maintained a “client list” or was murdered. It was an abrupt shock to the president’s base, especially after Attorney General Pam Bondi previously acknowledged that she was reviewing a “client list” and a group of MAGA social media influencers received a “Phase 1” binder of the Epstein files.

Administration officials say they are frustrated and feel like the DOJ dropped the ball by over representing how much evidence they had to take down Epstein’s alleged child trafficking ring.

“You can arrest all the drug leaders and cartel leaders, but people want closure on this case, and the Attorney General must find a better way to reconcile that,” one official told the Caller about the public response to Sunday’s announcement.

Senior administration officials also expressed confusion to the Caller on whether the Epstein case was truly “closed” after the memo went out. One source said the memo from the DOJ read like the case was closed, but noted that there are still sealed documents in various ongoing cases. Monumental Cleanup, Recovery Efforts Paused as Flooding Returns to Deadly Texas Rivers

One of the largest, most complex rescue and recovery efforts in Texas history was put on hold Sunday as flooding returned to the Guadalupe River in Central Texas. The task of meticulously searching through and clearing the miles of debris piles that remain continues to be a heartbreaking, painstaking task.

Breitbart Texas spoke with residents and volunteers in Kerrville who were busy at work, still clearing debris and searching for the missing, in the first full week since the flood ended. In the nine days since the deadly Independence Day flood, the death toll stands at 129, with 160 people still unaccounted for. In Kerr County alone, 103 deaths have been counted so far, 36 of whom are children.

More dangers returned to Texas river basins on Sunday as torrential rains fell in the Hill Country region. More floods returned to the Guadalupe River basin, and the Lampasas River rose by 30 feet during Sunday’s rains. Recovery and cleanup efforts are set to resume on Monday.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott said rescues were taking place on Sunday in San Saba, Lampasas, and Scnleicer Counties. Evacuation orders were carried out in Lampasas, Menard, Kimble, and Sutton Counties, the governor said.

Magnolia Network Stars Spark Religious Backlash with LGBTQ Family Portrayal

Former HGTV stars Chip and Joanna Gaines are facing backlash for their new reality show which features a same-sex couple.

“Back to the Frontier,” a show about three American families who attempt to survive as 1880s homesteaders, debuted on HBO Max on July 10. The Gaines are executive producers of the Magnolia Network series, the cable network they co-founded with Warner Bros. Discovery, which was promoted as featuring “family-friendly unscripted programming.”

After clips of the show were shared on social media, the Gaines’ were criticized by conservative Christian pastors, organizations and media commentators over the show casting two Texas dads and their 10-year-old twin sons, who were born via a surrogate.

Critics claimed the Gaines were promoting an anti-biblical lifestyle while they’d built a media empire professing their Christian faith.

Reverend Franklin Graham, president of Samaritan’s Purse and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, called the casting decision “very disappointing.” (Read more from “Magnolia Network Stars Spark Religious Backlash with LGBTQ Family Portrayal” HERE)

FBI Director Kash Patel Responds to Controversy Surrounding Epstein Files

Director of the FBI Kash Patel broke his silence on Saturday over the controversy surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein files, asserting that related “conspiracy theories just aren’t true.”

The Department of Justice (DOJ) recently announced there was no evidence to prove that Epstein had a client list, had blackmailed powerful people, or had been murdered. The revelations have come under fire from some politicos and others online who suggest government officials are not revealing the full trust or misled the public with past statements.

Additionally, it’s been rumored that Patel, along with FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino, do not want to work with Attorney General Pam Bondi and were considering leaving if she remains at her post.

“The conspiracy theories just aren’t true, never have been,” Patel said Saturday on X. “It’s an honor to serve the President of the United States [Donald Trump] — and I’ll continue to do so for as long as he calls on me.”

Patel has said numerous times publicly that he believes Epstein committed suicide in the Metropolitan Detention Center. (Read more from “FBI Director Kash Patel Responds to Controversy Surrounding Epstein Files” HERE)

Shooter Attacked Border Agents Hours After Dems Said Their Voters Want ‘Blood’

In a Monday article published by Axios, Democrat leaders told the outlet their supporters want more from them, including blood, to fight against Trump’s illegal immigration efforts. That same day, a man with a rifle and tactical gear shot at Border Patrol agents and local law enforcement in McAllen, Texas, resulting in a police officer being injured and the shooter being killed, according to Fox News.

“Our own base is telling us that what we’re doing is not good enough … [that] there needs to be blood to grab the attention of the press and the public,” one anonymous House Democrat told Axios. The congressman said that “grassroots” supporters are telling lawmakers that when they enter ICE facilities, they need to be “willing to get shot.”

Axios reported that more than two dozen Democrat representatives who spoke to publication are seeing more anger from constituents over the Democrats “not doing enough to counter President Trump’s agenda.” It has even “morphed into a disregard for American institutions, political traditions and even the rule of law,” according to Axios.

“What I have seen is a demand that we get ourselves arrested intentionally or allow ourselves to be victims of violence, and … a lot of times that’s coming from economically very secure white people,” another anonymous House Democrat told Axios.

In recent months, multiple Democrat politicians have come under fire for their behavior undermining the Trump administration’s immigration policies.
