Top Trump Official Calls U.S. Airstrikes on Iran ‘Pointless,’ Suggests ‘Deep State’ Swayed Prez

A top staffer in the federal agency overseeing personnel for the Trump administration has denounced the US strikes on Iran as “pointless” and suggested the decision was made by members of DC’s “deep state.”

Andrew Kloster, who serves as general counsel at the Office of Personnel Management, tweeted — and then deleted — a string of posts ripping the US for having sent “handouts” to Israel in the past and for previously downplaying the threat of Tehran getting a nuclear weapon.

Within a half-hour of President Trump announcing successful US airstrikes on Iranian nuclear facilities Saturday night, Kloster wrote on X, “I apologize and will never again doubt the power of the deep state.”

In a response to an X user saying that “Iran’s nuclear sites being crushed seems a long-term benefit for the US,” Kloster wrote, “I think it was just kind of pointless.”

He also boosted a post from Vish Burra, disgraced former New York Rep. George Santos’ ex-director of operations, that referred to Israel’s conflict with Iran as a “tribal squabble” after Tehran broke a cease-fire Trump secured Monday night.

Five People Rushed to Hospital After ‘Unexpected Turbulence’ on American Airlines Flight

Five people had to be rushed to the hospital after their American Airlines flight suffered “unexpected turbulence,” according to the Federal Aviation Administration.

Flight 1286, an Airbus A321, was traveling from Miami to Raleigh-Durham when the turbulence started just as the crew started to service the cabin.

Three flight attendants and two passengers were taken to a local hospital for evaluation after emergency services met the plane on the runway just after it landed at around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, said an American Airlines statement, according to CNN.

“It was way quick, totally unexpected turbulence right after they started service,” Lee Francis IV, a passenger onboard the flight, told CNN. (Read more from “Five People Rushed to Hospital After ‘Unexpected Turbulence’ on American Airlines Flight” HERE)

ICE Nabs 11 Iranian Migrants — Including Suspected Terrorists — as Border Patrol Warns of ‘Possible Sleeper’ Cells

Immigration agents collared 11 illegal Iranian migrants — including suspected terrorists — over the weekend in eight states as the Border Patrol warned of “possible sleeper” cells in the US.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement nabbed former Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps member Mehran Makari Sahel, who has “admitted connections” to the Iran-backed terrorist group Hezbollah, according to CBS News.

He was busted near St. Paul, Minnesota.

Yousef Mehridehno, whose name appears on the terrorist watchlist, was arrested by ICE outside Jackson, Mississippi, according to the outlet.

Feds discovered that Mehridehno lied on a visa application after he had already been living in the country illegally for eight years.

ICE agents also arrested Ribvar Karmi in northern Alabama on Sunday and found he was carrying an Iranian army ID card that revealed he was a sniper between 2018 and 2021, CBS reported. House Already Defeats Plan to Impeach Trump Over Iran

After President Donald Trump announced an attack on Iran’s nuclear program over the weekend, Democrats were less than thrilled. More radical members, such as Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), even claimed that it was an impeachable offense, with she and the president going at it, including via social media posts. Rep. Al Green (D-TX), who is often ranting and raving against Trump, including when it comes to his plans to see the president impeached, actually filed articles to do with the War Powers Clause, after he had also filed unrelated articles in May. Such a plan failed on Tuesday afternoon.

Leading up to the impeachment vote, “Al Green” has been trending on X, as has been Trump and AOC going at it. Green’s failed effort is embarrassing enough. But it also doesn’t look like there’s much support for impeachment overall.

On the House side, Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) certainly have criticized Trump for actions over the weekend. This has in particular come back to haunt Pelosi as she fawned over then President Barack Obama’s plans for regime change in Libya in 2011.

Yet both of these top House Democrats appear to be hesitant to go for impeachment. That even Pelosi acknowledges “Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon,” which Trump has been clear and consistent about for years, reflects how Americans overall, even and including Democrats, are concerned about Iran.

Biden’s Open Border Presidency Turbocharged Iranian Threats To U.S. Soil

Since the U.S. bombing of several Iranian nuclear sites, federal officials have sounded the alarm about potential retaliatory terror attacks on U.S. soil. Thanks to former President Joe Biden’s “Let everyone in!” immigration policies, those worries are very much legitimate.

On Tuesday, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) revealed it detained 11 Iranian nationals over a 48-hour period. According to the agency, several of these individuals entered the United States under the Biden administration and have committed serious crimes.

This list of arrestees includes Ribvar Karimi, whom Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detained on Sunday in Locust, Alabama. Per DHS, “Karimi reportedly served as an Iranian Army sniper from 2018 to 2021 and at the time of his arrest, in his possession, he had an Islamic Republic of Iran Army identification card.”

According to the agency, Karimi “entered the U.S. on a K-1 visa, which is reserved for aliens engaged to be married to American citizens, in October 2024 under the Biden administration,” but “never adjusted his status — a legal requirement — and is removable from the United States.”

Another Iranian national detained by ICE is Mehran Makari Saheli. The DHS press release noted that the 56-year-old is “convicted of being a felon in possession of a firearm in Minneapolis, where he was sentenced to 15 months in prison,” and “is a former member of… the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) with admitted connections to Hezbollah.”

“An immigration judge ordered [Saheli] removed June 28, 2022, under the Biden administration, but he illegally remained in the U.S.,” according to the agency. ICE detained five more Iranian nationals on Monday, adding to the initial batch of arrests announced earlier Tuesday morning, Fox News reported. Every Church Needs A Security Plan Fortified By The Second Amendment

A shooting at a Michigan church on Sunday makes the somber and compelling case for why every single house of worship in America should take steps to protect itself against the inevitable threats of violence against Christians.

Brian Anthony Browning, later identified as the son of a CrossPointe Community Church parishoner, allegedly armed himself with a tactical vest and two guns before driving his vehicle into the Wayne, Michigan, house of worship and opening fire on the building’s exterior.

His attempted rampage, captured on a service livestream, threatened pews filled with approximately 150 worshippers — many were children present for the Vacation Bible School-themed service. While a security guard sustained a non-life-threatening gun wound, no lives except for the shooter’s own were lost thanks to the preparedness of the church and its members.

As Browning tried to breach the church building with his weapons in tow, he was promptly mowed down by a CrossPointe deacon driving a Ford F-150. The member was reportedly running late for the service and took action when he noticed the commotion. Two of the church’s armed members finished the job by shooting at Browning, which ultimately killed him.

The deacon’s quick thinking, the carrying members’ aim, and CrossPointe’s overall preparedness for a scary situation like a shooting saved more than 100 lives. Wayne Police Chief Ryan Strong confirmed as much in a press conference on Sunday. (Read more from “Every Church Needs A Security Plan Fortified By The Second Amendment” HERE)

Trump Lashes Out at Israel and Iran Amid Accusations of Ceasefire Violations

Trump, in more comments made to reporters ahead of the NATO summit in The Hague, said he was “not happy” that Israel fired fresh rockets at Iran.

“These guys got to calm down. Ridiculous,” Trump said.

The president said that he didn’t like “plenty of things” he saw, including “the fact that Israel went out this morning at all.”

“I’m not happy with Iran either, but I’m really unhappy if Israel’s going out this morning,” he added.

Earlier, Trump in a strongly-worded post on Truth Social urged Israel to refrain from striking Iran. “ISRAEL. DO NOT DROP THOSE BOMBS. IF YOU DO IT IS A MAJOR VIOLATION. BRING YOUR PILOTS HOME, NOW!” he wrote.

All three reported feeling unwell, the outlet said.

More than 370 other people were detained at the festival on various other charges, France24 reported. (Read more from “REPORT: Over 100 People Allegedly Stabbed With Syringes At Music Festival” HERE)

Biden Judge Ignores Supreme Court Deportation Ruling

A federal judge blocked deportations for eight migrants Monday night in what the Trump administration called a “lawless act of defiance” of the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court allowed the Trump administration earlier on Monday to move forward with quickly deporting illegal migrants to countries not specified in their removal orders. The ruling pausing an injunction issued by Judge Brian Murphy, a Biden appointee, which required the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to give migrants notice and allow them to raise concerns about potential threats of torture before deporting them to a “third country.”

However, Murphy issued an order Monday night blocking immediate removal of eight migrants currently held at a U.S. naval base in Djibouti to South Sudan.

Murphy wrote that an earlier May 21 order issued after finding the administration violated his preliminary injunction was still in effect, citing Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s dissenting opinion.

Sotomayor suggested Murphy’s “remedial orders are not properly before this Court because the Government has not appealed them, nor sought a stay pending a forthcoming appeal.” (Read more from “Biden Judge Ignores Supreme Court Deportation Ruling” HERE)

‘Go Ahead and Try Impeaching Me Again — Make My Day!’ Trump Mocks ‘Stupid’ AOC, ‘Low IQ’ Crockett

President Donald Trump mocked far leftist Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) and others — including “seriously low IQ” Democrat darling Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) — for wanting to impeach him, daring them to “MAKE MY DAY.”

In a lengthy Truth Social post Tuesday morning, Trump addressed Ocasio-Cortez’s recent call to impeach him over the successful airstrikes on Iran.

“The President’s disastrous decision to bomb Iran without authorization is a grave violation of the Constitution and Congressional War Powers,” Ocasio-Cortez wrote over the weekend. “He has impulsively risked launching a war that may ensnare us for generations. It is absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment.”

Trump shot back, deeming Ocasio-Cortez one of the “dumbest” people in Congress and noting that Democrats have already tried to impeach him twice before, to no avail.

“Stupid AOC, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, one of the ‘dumbest’ people in Congress, is now calling for my Impeachment, despite the fact that the Crooked and Corrupt Democrats have already done that twice before,” Trump began, noting that the Democrat is complaining because of recent U.S. victories.
