Major SCOTUS Victory for America’s Families: State Bans on Hormone Blockers, Trans-Surgeries for Kids Upheld

By MSNBC. The Supreme Court has upheld Tennessee’s ban on gender-affirming care [sic] for minors, in an opinion by Chief Justice John Roberts over dissent from the court’s Democratic appointees.

The Republican-appointed majority said Wednesday that the state law isn’t subject to heightened scrutiny under the Constitution’s equal protection clause. Reasoning that the law doesn’t discriminate based on sex, Roberts wrote that it “prohibits healthcare providers from administering puberty blockers and hormones to minors for certain medical uses, regardless of a minor’s sex.”

. . . Defending the law, the state [of Tennessee] said it’s “not unconstitutional discrimination to say that drugs can be prescribed for one reason but not another.” The state further argued that its law doesn’t classify people based on sex but rather creates two groups: “minors seeking drugs for gender transition and minors seeking drugs for other medical purposes.” (Read more from “Major SCOTUS Victory for America’s Families: State Bans on Hormone Blockers, Trans-Surgeries for Kids Upheld” HERE)

Supreme Court Ruling on Trans Treatments for Minors Decried by Media as ‘Huge Setback for Transgender Rights’

By Fox News. The legacy media was united in its disapproval of the Supreme Court’s landmark ruling upholding Tennessee’s ban on transgender medical treatment for minors.

In a 6-3 decision, the Supreme Court struck down a challenge to a Tennessee law restricting access to puberty blockers and hormone treatment to children who identify as the opposite sex.

Several news organizations framed the ruling negatively and implied it was a “setback for transgender rights” for all ages, despite the decision affecting only minors. The result was also described as a “major blow,” a “devastating loss,” and a “stunning setback.”

“BREAKING: The Supreme Court upholds a Tennessee ban on gender-affirming care for transgender minors in a huge setback for transgender rights,” the Associated Press reported on X Wednesday.

“BREAKING: Supreme Court upholds a Tennessee law restricting gender transition care for minors, delivering a major blow to transgender rights,” NBC News similarly posted. The Supreme Court Did the Right Thing. I Know Because I Was Part of a Horrifying Gender Transition

By Fox News. The issues raised at the U.S. Supreme Court in United States of America v. Skrmetti are pretty academic to most Americans. The court concluded on June 18 that states can protect children from dangerous gender-transition procedures. Most people don’t have to know more than they want to about what is taking place in many hospitals in America.

But it’s different for me and for thousands of other people who have been defrauded by negligent doctors and harmful policies. I was part of the experiment.

The “procedures” the lawyers debated involve doctor-prescribed, counselor-encouraged drugs and surgeries that have been described as harmful, unnecessary, and high-risk by research and rigorously reviewed studies.

I wasn’t informed of all the risks involved when I was told to take these drugs. I wasn’t given ethical or evidence-based treatment. I was given life-altering drugs and surgeries based on pseudoscience and the singular fact that I hated myself.

I believed the lies my doctors told me because I was vulnerable from abuse and trauma. By the time I was 14, I’d been raped, became pregnant, and suffered a miscarriage. By 16, I had been diagnosed with anorexia, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorder and was hospitalized for depression and self-harm. I tried to kill myself several times. A medical resident talked with me — once — and suddenly decided, despite all my other documented physical and mental health struggles, that my real trouble was a “gender-identity crisis.” (Read more from “The Supreme Court Did the Right Thing. Unearthed Photos Reveal Troubling Connection Between Top Dems and CCP Ally

A female educator, pageant winner, and interpreter from China who has multiple ties to the Chinese Communist Party has cozied up to several top Democrats in New York over the last four to five years, a Fox News Digital review found.

Wang Zaozao, who also goes by “Linda,” was born and raised in Anqing, China. After going to school and specializing in “Chinese-English interpretation for three years” in her native country, she moved to the United States to further her education at Columbia University, according to her website bio. Her education then led to her founding the Zao Learning Center in 2018, which caters to the “training of children models/actors with bilingual language skills” and has multiple training centers in New York and Taiwan.

In addition to working as an educator and teaching hundreds of children of Chinese descent in New York, she has been a “bilingual emcee/TV host for about a decade” at dozens of “large-scale cultural events,” which have featured several top Democrats, including New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer. An archived version of Wang’s Zao Center says it provides “excellent learning atmosphere and professional training to set you off to succeed in the mainstream modeling/entertainment industry.”

As part of her educational qualifications, she touts on her website that she has obtained the “Advanced Interpretation Qualification Certificate” and the Teacher Qualification Certificate issued by the Ministry of Education of China (MOE), which is a key organ of the CCP and plays a crucial role in helping “formulate the curriculum” in Chinese schools and abroad for international educational exchanges, according to their website.

The MOE also directs the “construction of the [Chinese Communist] Party in institutions of higher learning” in addition to working with multiple other CCP departments. A 2017 report from The Diplomat revealed that the Ministry of Education spent five years revising liberal arts textbooks in order to emphasize the importance of “socialist core values” for students. The report went on to highlight how “new textbooks focus on strengthening the revolutionary tradition of the CCP.” (Read more from “Unearthed Photos Reveal Troubling Connection Between Top Dems and CCP Ally” HERE)

Did Israel Just Try to Kill Iran’s Supreme Leader?

Israeli forces have reportedly bombed the area where Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is believed to be hiding.

It is unclear whether the Israeli Air Force was actually targeting Khamenei in the attack. Baku.ws reported that “the Israeli Air Force is bombing a district of the Iranian capital where, according to sources, the bunker of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is located.”

Israeli forces have also reportedly struck Iran’s Ministry of Defense.

Video footage circulating on social media shows Israeli bombs decimating areas of Lavizan, where Khamenei’s bunker is believed to be located.

President Donald Trump on Tuesday issued a thinly veiled threat to Khamenei in a post on Truth Social, saying the White House knows where he is hiding. “He is an easy target,” Trump wrote. “But is safe there—We are not going to take him out (kill!), at least not for now. But we don’t want missiles shot at civilians, or American soldiers. Our patience is wearing thin.” (Read more from “Did Israel Just Try to Kill Iran’s Supreme Leader?” HERE)

Second Major Food Brand in Two Days Announces Artificial Dye Removal

Major food brand General Mills will remove all artificial dyes from its products by 2027, the company announced Tuesday.

The company also announced plans to remove “certified colors” from all of its American cereal brands and all of its products in school lunches by summer 2026, they said in a press release.

While General Mills claimed that 85 percent of its product line is already made without artificial colors, some of their most popular products still contain dyes.

Many flavors of Kool-Aid, a General Mills product, contain Red 40, which the Trump administration said would soon be banned in a May announcement.

Consumption of Red 40 has been linked to rises in early onset colorectal cancer and researchers found that it also damages DNA. (Read more from “Second Major Food Brand in Two Days Announces Artificial Dye Removal” HERE)

Police Arrest Suspects in Hit-And-Run of No Kings Protesters Caught on Viral Video

California police say they have identified and arrested two suspects in a hit-and-run investigation, after a driver barreled through No Kings protesters on Saturday.

Video of the incident went viral online, with many commentators saying the driver was justified in hitting the gas because the vehicle was surrounded by threatening protesters, one of whom had damaged the vehicle.

Police identified the driver as 58-year-old Russell Prentice of Riverside and also identified another suspect who allegedly tried to destroy evidence in the case. Prentice was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and hit-and-run causing injury.

The video went viral online with millions of views.

Candase Wenzel, 39, was also arrested and charged with accessory after the fact and destruction of evidence. The Riverside Police Dept. said that Wenzel drove Prentice’s vehicle out to Phelan, a remote desert town, in order to intentionally destroy and conceal evidence in the alleged crime.

Nigerian Christians Face Latest Massacre by Militant Muslims

While the world’s eyes are locked onto the conflict between Israel and Iran in the Middle East, Christians everywhere continue to face violent persecution.

Nigeria’s Catholic population has been facing what appears to be their systematic removal by their Muslim neighbors, and an attack over the weekend is the latest example of a long train of persecution.

Muslim Fulani militants “raided a predominantly Catholic Christian town” in Benue State, Nigeria, killing over 200 Christians overnight, according to a Saturday morning post by Save the Persecuted Christians on X. The post included graphic images of the victims of the massacre, reporting that they were “butchered and burned” during the attack.

“This is genocide,” the initial post concluded.

The Christian charity speculated that this attack was in “retaliation” for Makurdi Bishop Wilfred Anagbe’s recent testimony before the U.S. Congress in which he said, “A long-term, Islamic agenda to homogenize the population has been implemented, over several presidencies, through a strategy to reduce and eventually eliminate the Christian identity of half of the population.” (Read more from “Nigerian Christians Face Latest Massacre by Militant Muslims” HERE)

Supreme Court Deals Blow to Deep State Control in Ruling Against EPA

The U.S. Supreme Court took a major step in helping dismantle the federal government’s stranglehold on public policy on Wednesday. In an 8-0 decision, the court ruled that the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) could not defend itself against a lawsuit from Oklahoma and Utah in its rubber-stamp home court, the D.C. Circuit.

The case arose from the EPA’s 2023 decision to deny the state implementation plans (SIP) submitted by 21 states in order to comply with the 2015 “good neighbor” revision to the Clean Air Act, which “mandates states to prevent their emissions from substantially affecting the air quality of neighboring states.” However, the facts of this case are essentially a secondary point, because the thrust of the Supreme Court appeal has to do with the venue at which the case can be heard.

The EPA wanted it to be heard in the D.C. Circuit, while Oklahoma and Utah, two states suing the EPA over the denial of their SIPs, want it to be heard in the 10th Circuit — their regional court. While the EPA has argued that the case should be heard in D.C. because the implementation plans are being requested by all 50 states, Oklahoma and Utah believe their local circumstances are much better heard by their own federal courts.

In this case, the EPA did individual state reviews “on their own merits,” but then denied the SIPs of certain states in one “omnibus” Federal Register rule in order to artificially shoehorn it into the D.C. Circuit to claim that such publication makes the denials a national action.

Justice Clarence Thomas, who authored the opinion, recognized that merely publishing those denials together does not constitute a national action that might warrant review in the D.C. Circuit, but rather that each denial is a matter between the individual state and the EPA. It should therefore be challenged regionally. Donald Trump: We Don’t Want a Long-Term War With Iran

President Donald Trump made clear Wednesday the administration is “not looking for a long-term war” with Iran.

Trump addressed concerns among members of the Make America Great Again base that the United States would be pulled into a long-term war, while fielding a question from Brian Glenn of Real America’s Voice.

“We’re not looking for a long-term war. We’re looking– I only want one thing–Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. That’s it,” Trump said. “I’m not looking long-term, short-term, and I’ve been saying that for 20 years. I’ve been saying it as a civilian, who got a lot of publicity, people would cover it.”

“Very simply, Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon. That’s it,” he continued. “It’s not a question of anything else, and if you did, you wouldn’t have much of a country because they would use it on us and use it on other people and they’d be a terror all over the world.”

Trump notably tweeted in 2011, before he even entered the political world, that Iran cannot have a nuclear weapon, and has been firm in his stance throughout his political career and the presidential campaign in 2024.

Fed Shock: Fed Officials Forecast Higher Rates and Higher Inflation

The Federal Reserve delivered an unexpected blow to hopes for lower borrowing costs in the future, projecting higher inflation and higher interest rates in updated forecasts released Wednesday. While policymakers left their benchmark rate unchanged and signaled that they may cut in the second half of this year, forecasts of officials showed they expect fewer cuts next year and the year after that.

The central bank held the federal funds target at 4.25 to 4.50 percent, its level since the December rate cut. But the accompanying economic projections revealed rising concern that inflation is not receding fast enough—and that rates may need to stay elevated to keep it in check.

Officials now forecast that the Fed’s preferred inflation gauge, the personal consumption expenditures (PCE) index, will climb to 3.0 percent by the end of 2025. Core PCE inflation, which excludes food and energy, is expected to reach 3.1 percent. Both represent notable upward revisions from the March forecast, which anticipated 2.7 percent and 2.8 percent respectively.

“We expect a meaningful amount of inflation to arrive in the coming months,” Fed chairman Jerome Powell said. “We have to take that into account.”

This came as a surprise to many Fed watchers because recent inflation data has come in softer than expected, with prices holding steady or rising only at a slow rate. The annualized quarterly pace of the PCE inflation is 1.5 percent, below the Fed’s two percent inflation target, and core PCE inflation is two percent, according to the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. Gen Zers Who Watched BLM Burn Down the Country Have No Sympathy for L.A. Riots

Riots have become an all-too-familiar sight on American television screens. The country seems constantly braced for radical extremism disguised as “peaceful protests.” The images of car burnings and “F*ck ICE” graffiti coming out of Los Angeles last week are only the latest. Unfortunately, these incidents are so similar to the Black Lives Matter riots of 2020, that California’s Gov. Gavin Newsom tried to score some pathetic political points by correcting someone who mixed up a video from 2020 with a current video. In the five years since the aftermath of George Floyd’s death, California is still stuck in its fiery, lawless ways.

I turned 18 one week after George Floyd was killed. I didn’t post any photos on my birthday because that was the day when social media users were pressured into posting a black square online. No restaurants were open because of Covid, so my family cooked dinner at home, then afterwards we gathered around the television to watch live coverage of riots across the country.

At 23 years old, I’m now indifferent to rioting. During the Michael Brown protests, I remember trembling at the images of cops wearing gas masks, coming out of the smoke towards legions of screaming protestors. Even Kyle Rittenhouse’s story jarred me, especially since he was only a few months younger than I was and his infamous incident occurred less than an hour from my house. These protests became increasingly frequent and close to home, and as they did, my attitude towards them changed.

Eighteen-year-olds are typically known to be idealists with starry-eyed dreams of equality and global peace. In the past, liberals have taken advantage of this naivety to build an energetic coalition of misinformed college kids. This seemed to be a reliable phenomenon, with around 43 percent of Gen Z adults aged 18-24 identifying as liberal. However, recent studies have found that Gen Z teens are far more likely to have moderate political views, have their parents’ religious affiliations, and distrust political institutions.

Shutting down schools, businesses, and even playgrounds during Covid impacted younger children in a severe way, as they lost human contact during a crucial stage of their development. Like me, many were cut off from friends and activities, with nothing more than a screen left to entertain them.
