HORRIBLE: Media, Leftists Blame Jewish Conservatives, Trump Supporters for Pittsburgh Shooting

In the aftermath of a shooting at a Pittsburgh synagogue which left 11 dead and at least 6 injured, including four first responders, leftists in the media raced to score political points, blaming Jewish conservatives and Trump supporters for the actions of a virulent anti-Semite.

The shocking statements peppered social media, as leftists scrambled to score political points. The strangest missive came from GQ reporter Julia Ioffe, who wasted no time in suggesting that conservative Jews who cheered President Donald Trump’s decision to move the American embassy in Israel to the capital city of Jerusalem were responsible for a sudden rise in anti-Semitism she clearly believes precipitated Saturday’s attack.

. . .

But she wasn’t alone in blaming American Jews, whose policies she disagrees with, for supporting policies that “led” to Satuday’s shooting. Leftists across social media may not have been as direct as Ioffe, but they were certainly thinking the same thing:

Perhaps the worst, though, was the Atlantic, which published its own piece blaming Jewish conservatives for Saturday’s violence and suggesting Jews who support the president or any pro-Israel policies be “shunned” from their religious communities.

Mattis Was Asked About the Synagogue Shooting — His Answer Held Nothing Back

By The Daily Caller. Secretary of Defense James Mattis on Sunday condemned the person accused of killing 11 people at a Pittsburgh synagogue, calling him a “coward” and not a real man. . .

“This individual — I won’t even call him a man — he’s the poorest excuse for a man you could ever come up with,” Mattis said, according to the Military Times.

“Who would use a weapon in a house of worship, on unarmed innocent people and even shoot four policemen, then surrender himself? This is a coward,” Mattis added. “He is not a man by any definition that we use in the Department of Defense.”

In Pittsburgh’s ‘Darkest Hour,’ 2,500 Attend Synagogue Massacre Memorial

By CNBC. Some 2,500 people gathered on Sunday at a memorial service for the 11 Jewish worshipers slain in their Pittsburgh synagogue during Sabbath prayers, a mass murder the mayor called the city’s “darkest hour” while exhorting mourners to “defeat hate with love.”

Several speakers addressing an overflow crowd at the University of Pittsburgh’s Soldiers and Sailors Hall sounded themes of inclusion and unity, in counterpoint to the rise of toxic political discourse widely seen as creating an atmosphere conducive to violence.

“What happened yesterday will not break us. It will not ruin us. We will continue to thrive and sing and worship and learn together and continue our historic legacy in the city with the friendliest people that I know,” Rabbi Jonathan Perlman told the interfaith audience.

Three members of his congregation were among those killed when a man armed with an assault rifle and three handguns on Saturday stormed the Tree of Life temple in the city’s heavily Jewish Squirrel Hill neighborhood yelling “All Jews must die” as he opened fire on worshipers.

In addition to the 11 mostly elderly victims who were killed, six people, including four police officers, were wounded before the suspect was arrested. Two of the surviving victims remained hospitalized in critical condition. (Read more from “In Pittsburgh’s ‘Darkest Hour,’ 2,500 Attend Synagogue Massacre Memorial” HERE)

One GOP Mega-Donor Left the Party – and Now He’s Dropping Big Money….For the Dems

L Brands CEO Leslie Wexner was a major Republican Party donor in the swing state of Ohio. In September, Wexner decided to leave the GOP, saying he wouldn’t “support this nonsense in the Republican Party” anymore, The Hill reported. Now, he’s dropping quite a bit of money on Democrats.

The Wexners have given $1.9 million to Ohio and various political parties over the last five years. Leslie was a strong Republican who gave generous donations. His wife, Abigail, typically gave smaller amounts to the Democrats.

Wexner’s recent $10,000 donation to the Ohio House Democratic Caucus and another $10,000 to the state’s House Minority Leader, Fred Strahorn (D), was the first he had given to the Democratic Party, at least in the last five years, the Columbus Dispatch reported. . .

Although Wexner says he’s written off the GOP and now self-identifies as an Independent, he hasn’t written off all of GOP’s members. He gave $10,000 to Ohio House Speaker Ryan Smith (R), $10,000 to the Ohio House Republican Caucus and another $10,000 to the Ohio Senate Republican Caucus. Growing Scandal: Undercover FBI Agent Paid Thousands Supporting Gillum Fundraiser

The corruption scandal surrounding Florida Democratic gubernatorial nominee Andrew Gillum continued to grow on Friday as newly-released documents show that an undercover FBI agent, who posed as a developer seeking to do business with Gillum’s Tallahassee government, allegedly paid thousands of dollars to support a fundraiser for Gillum’s political action committee, Forward Florida.

“It is the first piece of evidence linking the ongoing FBI probe to Gillum’s campaign for governor,” the Tallahassee Democrat reported. “The emails and receipts released Friday as part of a supplemental records request from the Florida Commission on Ethics shows that the agent, Mike Miller, was invoiced $4,386 by 101 Restaurant and Mint Lounge, a restaurant owned by lobbyist Adam Corey at the time.” . . .

Forward Florida “was originally set up as a general leadership committee focusing on improving life for Tallahassee and Florida residents, but its mission statement was crafted by Gillum … via city email,” the Tallahassee Democrat noted. “Once Gillum officially announced his candidacy in March 2017, Forward Florida officially became his gubernatorial PAC.”

The dinner fundraiser for Gillum was hosted at Corey’s house and was described in one email as the “first kickoff event” for Gillum’s gubernatorial campaign.

Those attending the dinner had to make a minimum donation of $5,000 person, but Corey arranged a special way for Miller, the undercover FBI agent, to donate to the fundraiser, allowing him to pay for “the cost of the meals and drinks.”

Texas Democratic Party Leader Funded ‘Voter Fraud Ring’

Texas law enforcement officials have arrested four women for allegedly targeting elderly voters in the 2016 elections in a “voter fraud ring” that was funded by a Democratic Party leader, according to court documents filed this week by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

“The defendants were members of an organized voter fraud ring and were paid to target elderly voters in certain northern Fort Worth precincts in a scheme to generate large numbers of mail ballots, then harvest those ballots for specific candidates,” NBC DFW reported. . .

“The scheme was conducted when applications for mail ballot were proliferated in targeted precincts,” NBC DFW added. “When ballots were mailed out by election offices, the fraudsters attempted either to intercept the ballots or to ‘assist’ elderly voters in voting their ballots to ensure votes were cast for the fraudsters’ choice. In most cases, the voters do not even know their votes have been stolen, the news release said.”

The fraudulent applications used forged signatures and many of the voters that were targeted in the scheme “were forced to cancel their mail ballots so they could vote in person and some were forced to receive primary ballots for the political party supported by the harvesters, though it was not the party the voters supported.” (Read more from “Texas Democratic Party Leader Funded ‘Voter Fraud Ring'” HERE)

Bruce Jenner Takes Back Trump Endorsement

For the umpteenth time, Caitlyn Jenner is expressing buyer’s remorse for endorsing President Trump due to his ongoing policy towards transgenders.

Since President Trump took office in 2016, his administration has delivered some serious rollbacks to Obama-era policies on transgenders. On top of Trump banning them from the military, Trump’s DOJ most recently instituted a new policy of recognizing gender as a “biological, immutable condition determined by genitalia at birth.”

In a recent column at The Washington Post, the 68-year-old Jenner expressed deep regret for supporting Donald Trump’s bid for President in 2016. Originally, he had hoped to be a liaison for the administration to the trans community, hoping to be an agent of change. None of that has happened; in fact, the exact opposite has happened, and Jenner is livid over it.

“Following Trump’s election as president, I saw fertile ground for change within the Republican Party on LGBTQ issues,” the former gold medal Olympian wrote in the Thursday column. “I believed I could work within the party and the Trump administration to shift the minds of those who most needed shifting.”

One moment during Trump’s 2016 campaign that instilled hope in Jenner was when the President announced his support for “this valuable, vulnerable community” during the Republican National Convention. That hope has now waned for Jenner, who believes his support was a “mistake.”

“Sadly, I was wrong,” wrote Jenner. “Believing that I could work with Trump and his administration to support our community was a mistake.” (Read more from “Bruce Jenner Takes Back Trump Endorsement” HERE)

Hoax? Former Navy EOD Officer Explains Why ‘Bombs’ Addressed to Democrats Almost Certainly Meant to Be Intercepted

Former Navy explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) officer Tom Sauer authored a viral Twitter thread concerning the potentially explosive packages addressed to prominent Democrats on Wednesday. According to Sauer, it’s extremely likely that the packages were meant to be intercepted and cause political damage, as opposed to actual attempts to harm targets.

Sauer, whose identity has been verified to The Daily Wire, used his expertise to analyze an image of a package addressed to former CIA Director John Brennan, which was first obtained by CNN. The former bomb disposal officer, who emphasized that he only spoke on behalf of himself, told The Daily Wire that the makeup of the device appears to indicate that it was intended to be intercepted. “It’s highly, highly unlikely that this was a genuine attempt,” he explained. “This is like holding up a bank with a toy gun.”

When asked by The Daily Wire about the parody ISIS flag sticker reportedly identified on the package, Sauer said this seems to be yet another signal that the package was meant to be intercepted to “scare the hell out of people” and not actually cause damage. “That’s going to get flagged right away,” he said.

“It reeks of amateur hour,” said Sauer, with regard to new reports on “shards of glass” and “Sulphur” being identified within the device. “Glass is fairly light,” he explained. Typically you’d find metal or rocks as the device would be heavier and thus more damaging, though glass “is no picnic.”

New York Times Publishes Trump Assassination Fantasy

The New York Times published a short story about assassinating President Donald Trump Tuesday just one day before “potential explosive devices” showed up at the addresses of multiple political figures including former President Barack Obama.

The New York Times asked novelists “to conjure possible outcomes” to special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation of Russian meddling in the 2016 election for a Tuesday piece.

English thriller novelist Zoë Sharp wrote the short story, titled “How It Ends,” about a Russian assassin on a suicide mission who receives help from a Secret Service agent to kill Trump. A character who is working with the Russians in the story implies that Trump “was handpicked at the highest possible level” and must be silenced.

Sharp’s story is set after Mueller’s investigation indicts, subpoenas and even places under house arrest “the president’s campaign manager, then his lawyer, a Republican congressman, former aides, family members.” . . .

“The channel once snidely referred to as ‘state TV’ now delighted in showing long shots through the White House railings of men in uniforms removing boxes of incriminating paperwork,” Sharp wrote. “The president himself was not in residence. He was holed up on home ground.”
