Here’s Why Authorities Waited for Months to Raid the Muslim-Extremist Compound

The owner of the New Mexico property raided by authorities last week said he had notified police about seeing a child that appeared to be the Georgia toddler who had gone missing last year, NBC News reported, raising questions about why it took so long for authorities to raid the compound and discover the appalling conditions.

Jason Badger owns the land in Taos County where investigators discovered child remains on Monday following Friday’s raid of the compound where 11 children were found starving. Badger said he called police about four months ago after he realized that a missing child poster of Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj he had seen looked like a boy who lived on the remote compound.

Remains, possibly belonging to Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj, were found on what would have been the boy’s fourth birthday. His mother, Hakima Ramzi, said she has not seen her son since his father disappeared with him from Jonesboro, Georgia, in December. . .

The Taos County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Steve Fuhlendorf told NBC News that officers had followed up Badger’s tip, but that Abdul-Ghani Wahhaj wasn’t spotted in aerial and ground photos taken.

“It’s not that it was being ignored at all, but there are certain things under those circumstances that under the law, that they’re allowed to do,” Fuhlendorf said. “We still don’t know if they actually saw the boy in question. All we know is that they thought they saw somebody that may have looked like him, and that was not sufficient to be able to get a search warrant and go in and proceed from there.” (Read more from “Here’s Why Authorities Waited for Months to Raid the Muslim-Extremist Compound” HERE)

A New Poll Has Very Bad News for Nancy Pelosi

. . .Only 27 percent of Americans believe that the Democratic party should keep Pelosi as their leader according to a new poll.

Even among Democrats, Pelosi’s approval barely stays positive, with 50 percent saying she should keep her leadership position, and 49 percent saying she should be replaced.

The American Barometer poll from Hill.TV and HarrisX comes at a time when more Democrats are speaking out against Pelosi, and Republicans are using her extreme comments to campaign against Democrats in more moderate districts. . .

“Democrats are split on whether to keep Nancy Pelosi as leader and independents and most voter groups want someone else to step up,” said Dritan Nesho of HarrisX. “The findings suggest a yearning for change.”

Pelosi’s spokesman, Drew Hammill, rejected that conclusion when asked by the Hill to comment on the poll. Instead, Hammill pointed to similarly low polling for House Majority Leader Paul Ryan (R-Wisc.) and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.). Muslims Responsible for Running New Mexico ISIS Camp Have Direct Link to Linda Sarsour, ‘Anti-Islamophobia’ Activist

The son and two daughters of Linda Sarsour’s mentor have been busted by authorities for setting up an Islamic extremist terrorist training camp on American soil.

This week, police raided an Islamic extremist compound in New Mexico, where its leaders were reportedly training children to become school shooters.

The leader of the terrorist training camp, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, was arrested by police during the raid. He and two of his sisters, along with his brother-in-law, were also arrested by authorities. Taos County Sheriff Jerry Hogrefe described the arrested parties as “most likely heavily armed and considered extremist of the Muslim belief.”

Wahhaj and his sisters are the children of controversial Brooklyn Imam Siraj Wahhaj, who was once listed as a co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombings. Imam Wahhaj is a high-profile individual in the American Islamist community. He often keynotes conferences held by fringe groups such as the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) and the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA), two entities that were founded as part of the global Muslim Brotherhood network.

Imam Wahhaj is also the chief mentor to Women’s March co-founder Linda Sarsour. She regularly showers praise on Wahhaj. At an ISNA conference last year, Linda Sarsour began her speech thanking her “favorite person in this room … Imam Siraj Wahhaj, who has been a mentor, motivator, and encourager of mine. Someone who has taught me to speak truth to power & not worry about the consequences.”

Sarsour’s Twitter page is rife with continuous affection for the radical Imam.

Not only does Sarsour praise the Imam wherever she goes, they often share a platform at Islamist conferences and conventions throughout the United States.

Wahhaj’s defenders like Sarsour have crafted a narrative claiming that he is a mere social justice activist who happens to be an imam. This could not be further from the truth. Wahhaj is a radical’s radical.

The 1993 World Trade Center bombing co-conspirator has advocated for the establishment of an Islamic state inside the United States. He served as a character witness for the “Blind Sheik,” Omar Abdel-Rahman, who was given a life sentence for being the mastermind behind terrorist plots in the United States. Wahhaj also claims that homosexuality is a “disease” created by American society and has recommended that LGBT individuals should face execution.

Wahhaj has not said a word publicly since his family was arrested for the Islamic extremist plot. (For more from the author of “People Responsible for Running New Mexico ISIS Camp Have Direct Link to Linda Sarsour” HERE)

Insane: Actress Thinks Democrats Lost Because of the Green Party-Russia Alliance, or Something

There still isn’t an official winner in Ohio’s special election in the 12th congressional district, but it looks like state Sen. Troy Balderson, the Republican candidate, will eke out a win against Democrat Danny O’Connor. This race was seen as a bellwether, and it’s the last contest before the actual 2018 midterms in November. Should this race have been this competitive? No. Should it have been an easy win? Yes, but a win is a win. Right now, hundreds of votes were found (yeah, I know, right?), but Balderson is still in the lead by a little over 1,500 votes, or 0.8 percent. That’s not enough to trigger a recount and usually the outcome, baring something extraordinary, remains the same. Yet, there could be another reason for the unhinged Left: the Green Party, which I guess is now a vessel of the Kremlin. Actress and Resist activist Alyssa Milano took to Twitter to bash the Green Party saying:

Did Democrats Overreach on Their Strategy to Block Trump’s SCOTUS Nominee?

While all eyes are on Ohio’s 12th congressional race and its special election, there is another battle brewing: the fight to confirm Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. Senate Democrats have vowed to fight this nomination with every fiber of their being, though the ground game to do so has been remarkably lackluster—and progressives have noticed. We’ll get to that in a second, but for now—Democrats want all the documents relating to Kavanaugh’s time in the Bush White House.

Judge Kavanaugh is from the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals. President Trump selected him upon news of Justice Anthony Kennedy’s retirement, which occurred at the end of July. The Bush documents are part of a delay strategy from Democrats. There are millions of pages to sift through, and not nearly enough staffers at the National Archives to turn over those pages within the timeframe Republicans want to confirm Kavanaugh. Senate Judiciary Committee chair Chuck Grassley (R-IA) has requested some of the Bush documents, but not all of them (via WaPo):

Senators escalated a bitter dispute over Brett M. Kavanaugh’s documents — signaling a contentious confirmation fight ahead for the Supreme Court nominee even as senators on Tuesday successfully installed another appellate judge under President Trump.

Infuriated with Republicans for requesting only a portion of Kavanaugh’s records from his tenure in the George W. Bush White House, Democratic senators sent a wide-ranging request to the National Archives demanding that his entire paper trail be provided to Congress.

The letter, sent Tuesday, asks for all of Kavanaugh’s records from his time as an associate White House counsel under Bush, as well as his years as staff secretary. Kavanaugh, who was nominated to replace retiring Justice Anthony M. Kennedy, served for two years in the counsel’s office and three years as staff secretary — a high-ranking position that controls the flow of documents in and out of the Oval Office.

Judge Threatens to Hold Jeff Sessions in Contempt Over Asylum Deportation

A frustrated federal judge lashed the Trump administration Thursday and threatened to hold Attorney General Jeff Sessions in contempt after being told the government had deported an asylum seeker despite clear assurances she wouldn’t be touched.

Judge Emmet G. Sullivan said the government had “spirited away” the woman and her child, sticking them on a place back to El Salvador early in the morning even though she was a plaintiff in a groundbreaking case aiming to overturn the administration’s new stricter asylum policy.

It was the latest black eye for the administration’s deportation machinery, which just weeks ago drew the ire of other judges after admitting hundreds of illegal immigrant parents were ousted from the country without their children during the chaos of the zero-tolerance border policy. . .

It was a wrong-footed start to yet another thorny legal battle for the administration, which was already arguing in court over its sanctuary city crackdown, its attempts to phase out the Obama-era DACA deportation amnesty, the border wall and cancelation of special protections for Haiti, El Salvador and Honduras.

This new battle is over the asylum policy Mr. Sessions announced in June, and the government lost the first round in court Thursday when Judge Sullivan ordered a stay of deportation for the plaintiffs — including the mother and daughter already deported — while he contemplates the bigger issues. Secret Recording Reveals Why Rosenstein Hasn’t Been Impeached – and When He Will Be

By The Blaze. A recording of a fundraising event with Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) reveals why Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein hasn’t yet been impeached despite so many Republicans calling for the action – and what they’re waiting for. . .

Nunes told the crowd at the fundraiser that he personally had called for Rosenstein’s impeachment, but that it had to be delayed in order to keep the Senate on track with the confirmation of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.

“So if we actually vote to impeach, OK, what that does is that triggers the Senate then has to take it up,” Nunes explained to a questioner on the recording.“ . . .

In another portion of the tape Nunes said that the special counsel’s investigation was politically motivated, but admitted that some of the president’s tweets made him “cringe.”

“They know it’s ridiculous to go after the president for obstruction of justice,” Nunes said. “But if they tell a lie often enough and they put it out there and they say, ‘Oh, we’re looking at the tweets,’ cause you know you’ve got a mixed bag on the tweets, right? Like sometimes you love the president’s tweets, sometimes we cringe on the president’s tweets.” (Read more from “Secret Recording Reveals Why Rosenstein Hasn’t Been Impeached – and When He Will Be” HERE)

Recording Reveals Nunes Saying Rosenstein Impeachment Would Complicate Kavanaugh Confirmation

By The Hill. Rep. Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) told supporters at a recent fundraiser that impeaching Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein would pose a political dilemma because it would delay the confirmation process for Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh, according to audio obtained by MSNBC.

Nunes, who has been among the most vocal critics of Rosenstein and the Department of Justice (DOJ), reasoned to supporters that the impeachment process was “a bit complicated” because the Senate would have to deal with much of the fallout.

“Do you want them to drop everything and not confirm the Supreme Court justice, the new Supreme Court justice?” Nunes said in the recording, which was first obtained by and aired Wednesday night on MSNBC’s “The Rachel Maddow Show.” . . .

Nunes’ explanation for the delay seems to differ from other conservative lawmakers, who backed off the impeachment proposal after meeting with party leadership and after retiring Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) said he did not support the effort.

A group of conservative House lawmakers late last month introduced articles of impeachment against Rosenstein amid escalating tensions between the two sides. (Read more from “Recording Reveals Nunes Saying Rosenstein Impeachment Would Complicate Kavanaugh Confirmation” HERE)

Voter Fraud? Twice as Many Ballots Cast as There Are Voters in Precinct

Twice as many ballots as the number of registered voters were cast in a northeastern Georgia precinct during the state’s primary elections in May.

According to official numbers from the Georgia Secretary of State, 670 votes were cast in Habersham County’s Mud Creek precinct, where there were only 276 registered voters, says a report from McClatchy DC. Impossibly, this means the precinct saw a 243% voter turnout.

In a bizarre turn of events, the number of registered voters changed from 276 to 3,704 on the secretary of state’s website on Tuesday morning. . .

“The odd turnout figures last Friday were filed as part of a federal lawsuit against the state by election security activists that included a number of sworn statements and exhibits from activists and voters who experienced a series of bizarre and confusing issues at the state’s polling places,” reports McClatchy.

One voter, for example, claimed in a sworn statement that she and her husband were assigned differing polling locations despite registering to vote at the same address. In another instance, someone claimed their voting machine froze while attempting to cast their ballot. Others said they showed up at the correct polling place per the SOS website, only to be directed to a differing location. (Read more from “Voter Fraud? A Sanctuary City Released This Illegal Alien. It Turns out He Was a Child Rapist

An illegal immigrant who the city of Philadelphia refused to turn over to federal immigration officers in 2014 is now serving a prison sentence for the rape of a child and unlawful sexual contact with a minor. Juan Ramon Vasquez has now pleaded guilty to illegally reentering the country after being deported, the Department of Justice announced Tuesday.

Vasquez was initially deported after illegally immigrating to the U.S. from Honduras in 2009. Immigration and Customs Enforcement realized he was back in the U.S. illegally in 2014, in a Philadelphia prison, and asked the city to turn him over to federal custody. The city released him instead, and he went on to commit the crimes he is now back in prison for.

Philadelphia celebrated an 8-year battle with the federal government to officially label itself as a “sanctuary city” in June, making official its policy of refusing to fully cooperate with federal immigration enforcement. The city refuses to turn over illegal immigrants to ICE agents, unless the agency has a warrant signed by a judge.

Trump’s ‘Space Force’ Meeting Resistance in Pentagon

The Pentagon is moving ahead with President Trump’s call to establish a “Space Force” as a potential sixth branch of the U.S. armed forces, with top officials scrambling to tamp down reports of disagreement between military leaders and the White House ahead of a high-profile speech Thursday by Vice President Mike Pence.

Mr. Pence, the administration’s liaison with the Defense Department on the coming Space Force, will address reporters at the Pentagon on Thursday and is expected to formally release an internal military review of what it will take to create the new command.

But analysts and former military officials say the concept of a formal Space Force and the push to establish it quickly are being driven almost entirely by the White House and its allies on Capitol Hill, and that a skeptical Pentagon is grudgingly going along with the plan amid political pressure from the other side of the Potomac.

Indeed, insiders say the fact that the Pentagon delayed its long-awaited study on setting up a Space Force — initially scheduled to be released last week — could be evidence of behind-the-scenes dissension between military leaders and political officials inside the Trump administration. More broadly, specialists argue the entire concept of a Space Force as a wholly separate branch of the military is one that many Defense Department officials privately don’t support, but that they’re being strong-armed by an administration eager to make a lasting mark on U.S. military doctrine and to further cement American dominance in space.

One reason for the resistance — a fear the Space Force will take resources and budget dollars away from existing service branches and dilute their operational authority. For the Air Force, the realignment could mean surrendering control of existing space assets, satellites, launch sites and other ground operations to the new command. Parts of the other services would be shifted as well. (Read more from “Trump’s ‘Space Force’ Meeting Resistance in Pentagon” HERE)
