Billionaire Democrat Donor Calls for ‘Nuclear War’ to Stop Trump

Billionaire Democrat donor Tom Steyer called for a “nuclear war” to stop President Trump — then took back his comment after the interviewer called his point “sobering.”

“Maybe we can have, like, a nuclear war and then we get a real course correction,” Steyer told The Rolling Stone in an interview published Friday. He was elaborating on his belief that it is imperative for Congress to impeach Trump immediately, because the “checks and balances system” set up in the constitution isn’t working, and the only other option is to wait around for economic disaster and war. . .

DICKINSON: In a recent interview you suggested not impeaching Trump is normalizing him. What do you mean?

STEYER: Once you don’t speak up against lawlessness, lawlessness is permitted. …

It’s like being at a dinner party and somebody makes a racial slur and you speak up and say, ‘I think that’s really wrong, and you should take that back,’ and everyone says, ‘Ooooh, you’re making a big fuss here.’ Like, yeah, we’re making a big fuss – because something is wrong. Everyone’s acting as though it’s somehow impolite to stand up for American democracy.

James Woods Drops Porn Lawyer Michael Avenatti in One Tweet

With the assistance of the mainstream media, Michael Avenatti has made quite a name for himself after taking on client Stormy Daniels, a porn star who claims she had unprotected sex with Donald Trump in 2006 when he was married to his wife Melania, soon after the couple had son Barron. But, according to politically active actor James Woods, the attorney’s time is just about up.

In typical Woods fashion, the iconic actor informed Avenatti that he’s now “the chum of history” — alongside Black Lives Matter activist DeRay McKesson and anti-gun activist David Hogg — in one concise, hard-hitting tweet.

. . .

Woods was reacting to a tweet from the lawyer which Woods seemingly took as a cheap way for Avenatti to exploit the longstanding border crisis to prolong his fame. “This is what Mr. Trump and Mr. Miller’s immigration policy really looks like,” wrote Avenatti in the tweet, captioning a photo of a crying child.

Maxine Waters Apologizes—but to Fidel Castro!

. . .Two years prior to joining Manhattan’s Castro adoration rite, you see, Maxine Waters had voted in favor of a congressional resolution calling on Castro to kindly refrain from harboring fugitives from U.S. law, including convicted cop-killer Joan Chesimard (aka Assata Shakur.)

But Maxine Waters caught herself in the nick of time. Dear President (all italics mine) Castro,” she wrote on September 29, 1998, “I am writing to clarify my position on a resolution recently passed by the United States House of Representatives on September 14, 1998. I, and some of the Members of the Congressional Black Caucus, mistakenly voted for House Concurrent Resolution 254 which called on the Government of Cuba to extradite to the United States Joanne Chesimard and all other individuals who have fled the United States from political persecution and received political asylum in Cuba. Joanne Chesimard was the birth name of a political activist known to most Members of the Congressional Black Caucus as Assata Shakur. For the record, I am opposed to the resolution. I unequivocally stated that a mistake was made and I would have voted against the legislation.”

The New Jersey police department explains Joane Chesimard’s “political activism” here: “On May 2, 1973 New Jersey State Troopers James Harper and Werner Foerster were patrolling the New Jersey Turnpike in the area of East Brunswick and stopped a car with three occupants. The Troopers were questioning the occupants when the driver and female passenger suddenly came up with semi-automatic pistols and opened fire. Trooper Foerster was struck twice in the chest, and Trooper Harper was hit in the shoulder. The female (Joane Chesimard) then proceeded to take the service weapon from the injured Trooper Foerster. She pointed it at the wounded Trooper and shot him twice in the head, execution style. The thirty-four-year-old trooper with just three years on the road died soon after. He left a wife and family behind.” . . .

The Castro-Family-Fiefdom provides haven for over 50 fugitives from U.S. law, including several on the FBI’s most wanted listed. Along with convicted cop-killer Chesimard, Cuba harbors convicted cop-killer Charlie Hill, along with Victor Gerena, responsible for a $7 million heist of a Wells Fargo truck in Connecticut in 1983 as a member of the Puerto Rican terrorist group Los Macheteros. Guillermo “Willie” Morales who bombed Manhattan’s Fraunces Tavern in 1975 killing four Americans also lives like a celebrity in Cuba. For decades all requests by U.S. authorities for these criminals’s extradition have been laughed-off by Maxine Waters’s terror-sponsoring friends. Poll Reveals How Many Americans Believe Civil War Is Inevitable

The division in the United States that has escalated into the organized harassment of presidential aides has six in 10 worried about the violence from anti-Trump advocates and nearly a third fearing it will end in civil war.

The latest survey from Rasmussen Reports found that 59 percent of all voters “are concerned that those opposed to President Trump’s policies will resort to violence.”

And, added Rasmussen, 31 percent believe “it’s likely that the United States will experience a second civil war sometime in the next five years.”

The new polling evidence of fear in the country over political division follows the harassment of three top Trump aides, including spokeswoman Sarah Sanders, ordered out of a southern Virginia restaurant, and senior adviser Stephen Miller whose condo drew protests from liberals. . .

Most voters across the partisan spectrum are concerned about political violence from those opposed to Trump’s policies, although Republicans are the most likely to be Very Concerned. The level of concern is about the same among Republicans, Democrats and unaffiliated voters when it comes to the threat of violence from those critical of the media’s coverage of Trump.

ICE Director Slams Liberals Protesting Illegal Alien Family Separation

Acting Immigration and Customs Enforcement Director Tom Homan said Friday that Democrats who protest his agency for separating illegal immigrant families are barking up the wrong tree, since his agency has nothing to do with it.

“They need to educate themselves,” Homan said on Fox News. “I mean, this protest yesterday to protest about family separations on the border, ICE doesn’t separate families on the border. That’s the Border Patrol. We’re a different agency.” . . .

Some Democratic lawmakers joined protesters this week who said ICE should be abolished for enforcing U.S. border laws. Homan said Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., was one of the lawmakers who are directing her anger at the wrong agency.

“As far as Gillibrand, she needs to study the issue too, because she went to a protest on family separation on the border, and she tries to blame ICE for it, ICE separated families,” he said. “First of all, she’s gotta get her facts straight.” . . .

Homan stressed that he wasn’t blaming the Border Patrol for family separation either, and said Congress should be blamed for failing to tweak federal law in a way that would allow families to be detained together. Dirty: FBI Now Using Attorneys to Keep Congress in Dark About Peter Strzok

. . .Following a more than 10 hour closed-door House Judiciary Committee hearing with embattled FBI agent Peter Strzok, committee chairman Bob Goodlatte said Strzok refused to answer many of the questions directed at him. . .

“Unfortunately, the FBI counsel in the room has instructed Mr. Strzok not to answer many, many questions,” Goodlatte told Fox News host Martha MacCallum.

“That’s going to be a serious problem moving forward so we will be raising questions with the FBI and with the Department of Justice about why it is that their counsel is instructing Mr. Strzok not to answer questions.”

Goodlatte explained that these questions are key to getting to the bottom of Strzok’s role in the Clinton email investigation and the Trump campaign/Russia investigation, and the influence he had on the decision’s being made.

“These are questions that are central to our investigation,” Goodlatte said. “We’re asking questions about his central role in both the investigations related to Hillary Clinton and the investigations related to the Trump campaign and a so-called Russian collusion. And these are questions not about the substance of that second investigation, but about the process of his getting involved in that.” (Read more from “Dirty: FBI Now Using Attorneys to Keep Congress in Dark About Peter Strzok” HERE)

Trump Just Added the Worst Possible Name for Dems to SCOTUS List

. . .It’s also Democrats’ worst nightmare. If you thought they were freaking out this week over Justice Anthony Kennedy‘s retirement announcement, imagine how they’d react to the Utah senator [Mike Lee] joining the High Court. . .

President Donald Trump has asked his advisers about nominating Lee to replace Kennedy, according to a Bloomberg News report Thursday that cited “three people familiar with the matter.”

Lee’s rock-solid voting record has earned him perfect 100 percent scores from Conservative Review and the Heritage Foundation. In addition, he has the highest lifetime score from the American Conservative Union at 99.43 percent.

The senator also has a strong background in the law. He has served as a federal court clerk, assistant U.S. attorney and general counsel for Utah’s governor, in addition to his private practice work specializing in appellate and Supreme Court litigation. . .

“I think he would be extraordinary,” [Ted] Cruz said of his friend. “If you look back at Republican nominations to the Court, Democrats have batted almost 1.000. Just about every nominee they’ve put up there has voted the way they wanted on just about every single issue. Republicans at best bat .500. About half of the nominees Republican presidents have put on the Court have turned into train wrecks — have turned into liberal activists.

Journalists Blame Trump for Newspaper Shooting Despite Complete Lack of Evidence

. . .On Thursday, Wendi Winters, John McNamara, Gerald Fischman, Rebecca Smith, and Rob Hiaasen were murdered at their Annapolis newspaper by a man who had carried an intense grudge against the publication for its accurate reporting on his criminal harassment conviction in 2011. The mass shooting, which injured two others, led to speculation by many that the motive was anger at the perception of politically biased news. Various journalists and other members of the resistance began tweeting that President Donald Trump had “blood on his hands” since he has harshly and regularly condemned “fake news” and its purveyors.

This week we also saw prominent Democratic politicians call for mobs to publicly threaten those with whom they have political disagreement, but somehow reporters didn’t wonder whether Rep. Maxine Waters or other members of the Resistance were to blame for the Annapolis shooting.

We also didn’t see them wonder if the media’s harsh treatment of Republicans led to the mass assassination attempt on a baseball field filled with Republican senators and members of Congress last June. They also didn’t wonder if anti-police rhetoric led to the targeted murders of various policemen in recent years. The blame game seems to work one way with traditional media sources.

Speculation in the absence of facts frequently leads to embarrassment. But as facts about actual motivation and state of mind of the shooter emerged, some media figures were unswayed and kept with their original speculation that Trump was to blame. . .

An editor for Reuters deleted his tweet and apologized for claiming President Trump had blood on his hands, but many other people in the media did not. (Read more from “Journalists Blame Trump for Newspaper Shooting Despite Complete Lack of Evidence” HERE)

Top 4 Candidates for 2020 Revealed. It’s Hilarious.

By The Daily Wire. If you thought this week could not possibly turn out more wins for conservatives, think again! According to a new poll, the Democrats’ best hopes for 2020 include twice-failed candidate Hillary Clinton. . .

According to The Hill, former Vice President Joe Biden took the top spot in a Harvard CAPS/Harris poll from this month, with 32% of the vote. But, there she was: Hillary was named the Democrats’ second best option, with 18%.

And from there it was another familiar name: Vermont socialist Bernie Sanders, who lost to Hillary during the primary and is now 76 years old, came in third, with 16%.

The only other Democrat garnering double digits in the poll was Massachusets Senator Elizabeth Warren, known on the right as “Fauxcahontas,” taking 10%. Warren has been plagued with mockery for allegedly faking Native American ancestry to advance her career at Harvard. Oh, and she happens to have even less charisma than Hillary. Biden Leads 2020 Dem Field in New Poll

By The Hill. . .Biden is the clear leader in Harvard CAPS/Harris’s June poll with support from 32 percent of Democrats polled. Hillary Clinton, the party’s 2016 nominee, finished second with 18 percent of the vote, while her 2016 primary opponent, Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), sits in third with 16 percent.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) was the only other candidate to poll in double digits, with 10 percent of those surveyed backing her.

Biden has spoken frankly about both his interest in running for president and his hesitancy to jump in the race.

He flirted with a bid in 2016 but ultimately decided not to run while he mourned the death of his son, Beau. This week, he joked to The Washington Post that he isn’t “looking to live in the White House,” but added, “I don’t know what I’m going to do.” . . .

The Harvard/Harris poll also tests the 2020 chances of Sens. Cory Booker (D-N.J.), Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) and Kirsten Gillibrand (D-N.Y.), as well as billionaire Michael Bloomberg and New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D). (Read more from “Biden Leads 2020 Dem Field in New Poll” HERE)

Investigation Into ‘Dossier’ Against Trump Gets Big Break

The longer the investigation into alleged Russia collusion with the Trump campaign goes on, the more information seems to surface tied to Hillary Clinton’s campaign, it seems.

The latest development comes from District Judge Reggie Walton, who ordered the Justice Department to begin to immediately hand over the communications records of Nellie Ohr, the wife of DOJ official Bruce Ohr.

She worked for Fusion GPS, the company funded by the Hillary Clinton campaign that created the “salacious and unverified” anti-Trump “dossier,” which helped fuel the launch of the Russia probe.

The FBI already is neck deep in scandal over its handling of the Clinton and Russia investigations. This week, Congress members rebuked officials in hearings for refusing to provide requested documents. And the recent inspector general report produced more evidence of bias by key FBI officials and investigators, including Peter Strzok, the lead investigator in the Clinton and Russia probes. . .

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton said he’s pleased another court rejected the Justice Department’s “inexcusable stonewalling on documents of intense public interest – Obama DOJ collusion with the Clinton campaign vendor Fusion GPS to target then-candidate Donald Trump.” (Read more from “Investigation Into ‘Dossier’ Against Trump Gets Big Break” HERE)
