Fresno State Professor Who Bragged She Couldn’t Be Fired Gets Reality Check

By The Daily Wire. On Wednesday, the Fresno State professor who bragged on social media that she couldn’t be fired because she is tenured got a harsh reality check from Fresno State’s Chief Academic Officer (CAO).

During a press conference that was held to address professor Randa Jarrar’s offensive tweets, CAO Dr. Lynnette Zelezny said that tenured employees are not exempt from firing . . .

Clarifying her answer, Zelezny said, “You can be fired. There are certain processes that we have to follow but there are certainly situations where a tenured faculty person can be fired.”

Following the backlash she received online, Jarrar locked her Twitter account and wrote that she is “currently on leave from Fresno State.” (Read more from “Fresno State Professor Who Bragged She Couldn’t Be Fired Gets Reality Check” HERE)

Fresno State: Tenure Doesn’t Necessarily Protect Professor Who Tweeted About Barbara Bush

By The Fresno Bee. All options are on the table in dealing with the Fresno State professor who called Barbara Bush “an amazing racist” shortly after Bush died at age 92, university President Joseph Castro said Wednesday.

“A professor with tenure does not have blanket protection to say and do what they wish,” he said. “We are all held accountable for our actions.”

Castro declined to comment specifically on how the university may handle Randa Jarrar’s case, citing personnel matters. But he did say the next steps for the university include reviewing all the facts, as well as the faculty’s collective bargaining agreement.

Within an hour after the official announcement that Mrs. Bush died Tuesday at the age of 92., Jarrar took to social media to call the former first lady an “amazing racist” who raised a “war criminal.” Jarrar also expressed no concern that she could be fired or reprimanded for her outspokenness.

Dem Councilman Tells Mourning Family of Dead Teen WHAT?

By NY Daily News. An Ohio councilman apologized to the family of a teen, who died in a van after calling 911 twice pleading for help, for making insensitive comments during a council meeting.

Cincinnati City Councilman Wendell Young told Kyle Plush’s family members at the meeting Tuesday that “There’s no amount of money that’s going to make you happy.”

“It’s not about the money,” Ron Plush, Kyle’s father, shouted at Young.

“This was the most insensitive thing I’ve ever heard,” said another family fired back. “I’m sorry, you’ve crossed the line.”

The Plush family then stormed out of the meeting as Young continued speaking. (Read more from “Dem Councilman Tells Mourning Family of Dead Teen What?” HERE)

Wendell Young Apologizes to Kyle Plush’s Family, Tells Mayor Not to Lecture Him

By The Enquirer. Cincinnati City Councilman Wendell Young apologized Wednesday for comments that outraged the family of a teenager who died despite two desperate calls to 911.

Relatives of Kyle Plush stormed out of City Council chambers Tuesday near the end of a six-hour council committee meeting after Young suggested that police officers, 911 operators and other city officials had most likely done the best they could to help Kyle.

Young said the family, which has pressed the city to investigate what went wrong, would get no benefit from “finger pointing” or “witch hunting.” . . .

On Wednesday, Young told The Enquirer and again said during the City Council meeting that he didn’t mean to offend anyone, especially the grieving family.

“I never meant to hurt their feelings. I am sincerely sorry about that,” Young said before the meeting. “I feel bad about what happened. They’re upset, legitimately so with me. I’m sorry about that.” (Read more from “Wendell Young Apologizes to Kyle Plush’s Family, Tells Mayor Not to Lecture Him” HERE)

State Changes Jail Rules to Accommodate Transgender Inmates. What Could Go Wrong?

By Conservative Tribune. New York City’s jail system recently announced a new policy that will require jail officials to make special accommodations for transgender inmates. . .

The policy — set to take effect within the next six months — will allow transgender inmates to be housed with other inmates of the gender they choose to identify with, meaning men who identify as women could be housed in the women’s jail and women who identify as men could live with male inmates . . .

The new policy stems from a 2016 order issued by de Blasio which directed all city-owned buildings, including schools and recreation centers, to allow individuals to use the single-sex bathrooms or locker rooms of the gender they choose . . .

While all that may sound well and good, what will they say when a female who identifies as a male is summarily raped or otherwise sexually assaulted after being placed in the men’s jail?

Likewise, what will be the liberal media’s reaction once a conniving male rapist inevitably claims to identify as a female and is then placed in the women’s jail? This “solution” offered up by New York City to the “problem” of where to house inmates confused over their gender identity appears to be a big can of worms that is best left unopened. New York City Jails to Accommodate Transgender Inmates

By The New York Journal. Inmates in New York City’s jail system will be housed with fellow inmates of the gender they identify with, officials said Monday.

The announcement by Democratic Mayor Bill de Blasio and the city commissioner of human rights means New York will join San Francisco in establishing a policy to accommodate transgender inmates.

“Respecting someone’s gender identity or gender expression is key in making sure that everyone in New York City is living with dignity and respect,” said Carmelyn Malalis, the commissioner of human rights. “The fact that somebody’s incarcerated or not doesn’t really change that.” . . .

Under the new policy, the Department of Correction will house inmates consistent with their gender identity unless the outcome of a federally required safety assessment or the preferences of the inmate require alternative housing. A transgender housing unit is an option for some inmates.

The Department of Correction will have six months to implement the policy. (Read more from “New York City Jails to Accommodate Transgender Inmates” HERE)

Motorcycle Dealer Gets Last Laugh After City Worker Attacks Vet, Demands Store Remove Flags

When a motorcycle dealership in the military-heavy town of Jacksonville received a warning citation Monday from a city employee whom the manager felt had disrespected the country’s veterans, he didn’t waste any time taking his case to social media . . .

According to First Coast News, the whole incident started that day around noon, when a Jacksonville city employee entered Jaguar Power Sports to deliver a written warning about a flag display on the roof of the building. Besides two United States flags, the building boasted a Jacksonville Jaguars flag and flags representing each branch of the military.

The flags allegedly violated a city code, but it wasn’t just the message that manager Shaun Jackrel objected to. Jackrel and other Jaguar Power Sports employees said the city worker also insulted a veteran who was in the business at the time — a man who had been wounded fighting for the country.

By Wednesday afternoon, that post had received almost 9.5 million views. But by then, its mission had been accomplished.

Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry, a former chairman of the Republican Party of Florida, had taken to Twitter by early Monday evening to say the Power Sports flags were safe.

NYPD Ignored More Than 1,500 Requests to Cooperate with Feds, so Ice Just Took over and Did It Themselves

A six-day ICE operation in New York has led to the arrest of 225 illegal immigrants in the state, many of whom were convicted criminals.

“Operation Keep Safe” ended on Apr. 14 in New York City, Long Island and the Hudson Valley, as U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Enforcement and Removal Operations arrested the more than 200 who came from several different countries, according to a news release published Tuesday . . .

“More than 80 had been issued a final order of removal and failed to depart the United States, or had been previously removed from the United States and returned illegally,” the press release stated. “Several had prior felony convictions for serious or violent offenses, such as child sex crimes, weapons charges, and assault, or had past convictions for significant or multiple misdemeanors.”

One 56-year-old Haitian national with a manslaughter conviction was arrested in East Elmhurst while several registered sex offenders and others with convictions for raping or sexually abusing minors were also taken into custody. One of the people arrested was a 36-year-old man living in Manhattan who was wanted in the Dominican Republic on murder charges.

Any of the detainees who have outstanding orders of deportation will be immediately deported to their home country, while some of those arrested will be facing federal criminal prosecution for illegal entry into the U.S. or illegal re-entry after initially being deported. Any detainees not being federally prosecuted will be processed administratively to be removed from the U.S. (Read more from “NYPD Ignored More Than 1,500 Requests to Cooperate with Feds, so Ice Just Took over and Did It Themselves” HERE)

President Trump Finally Breaks Silence on Stormy ‘Con Job’

. . .Trump was responding to a tweet which showed side-by-side images of the sketch with a photo of Daniels and her husband Glendon Crain.

Trump has denied the accusations by Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, and had not spoken publicly about Daniels until Wednesday morning when he tweeted in response to an unverified account, calling the person in the sketch a “nonexistent man.”

Daniels, who has alleged that she had an affair with the president more than a decade ago, released the drawing on ABC’s “The View” Tuesday in what co-host Meghan McCain questioned as a publicity stunt. The adult film actress claimed the man in the sketch threatened her in 2011 to remain quiet about her encounter with Trump.

The drawing generated a major response on social media as many speculated about the how the man in the sketch resembled New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady or actor Willem Dafoe, among others.

‘Welcome to the playing field,’ Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenatti, tweeted in response to Trump, taking a dig at his personal attorney, Michael Cohen who had his home and offices raided by the FBI over a week ago. Cohen had admitted to paying Daniels $130,000 in 2016 to be quiet about the alleged affair with Trump. (Read more from “President Trump Finally Breaks Silence on Stormy ‘Con Job’” HERE)

Bump Stock Inventor’s Company Shutting down Its Website and Will Cease Taking Orders Next Month

Slide Fire Solutions based out of Moran, Texas has announced it is shutting down its website and will cease taking orders for the product it invented and manufactures: bump stocks.

In a statement on its website, Slide Fire said, “On Sunday, May 20, 2018 at midnight CDT, Slide Fire will cease taking orders for its products and shut down its website. Orders places prior to May 20th, 2018 will all be processed and shipped. We thank you for your support.”

The bump stock firearm accessory gained national attention after it was utilized during a mass murder in Las Vegas last fall. A bump stock device is used to increase the firing rate of semi-automatic weapons.

Shortly after the killings, the Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence teamed up with Las Vegas law firm Eglet Prince to announce a class-action lawsuit against manufacturers, marketers and sellers of bump stocks; Slide Fire was included as a defendant.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives gave Slide Fire the go-ahead to produce bump stocks in 2010, in light of the fact that the agency has no authority over firearm accessories. But in the aftermath of the Las Vegas murders, the NRA raised eyebrows by expressing their support in regulating bump stocks. The ATF is currently exploring options for banning the devices. Civil War: Comey’s Ego Goes After Obama’s DOJ

By The Daily Caller. Former FBI Director James Comey is at odds with three key figures over the Obama Department of Justice’s (DOJ) handling of the Hillary Clinton email server investigation during the 2016 presidential campaign.

Former Attorney General Loretta Lynch, former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe and current Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein have all found themselves at odds with Comey over events related to the Clinton investigation. . .

He said “the unverified material would undoubtedly have been used by political opponents to cast serious doubt on the attorney general’s independence in connection with the Clinton investigation.”

Comey cited the information — a “development still unknown to the American public to this day” — as his reason for taking a more public role in the Clinton investigation, rather than deferring to Lynch.

Comey testified last June that he believed Lynch had a “conflict of interest” in the Clinton investigation, and that he thought she should have recused herself from the investigation. (Read more from “Civil War: Comey’s Ego Goes After Obama’s DOJ” HERE)

Comey: Classified Info Would Have ‘Cast Serious Doubt’ on Loretta Lynch Handling Clinton Investigation

By The Daily Caller. Former FBI director James Comey wrote in his new book that classified information could have “cast serious doubt” on Loretta Lynch’s ability to investigate Hillary Clinton’s email server in 2016.

ABC News reports, “Comey writes that he felt obligated to take more of a personal role as the public face of the investigation rather than deferring to then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch – in part because of something involving Lynch that he cryptically refers to as a ‘development still unknown to the American public to this day.’”

The government learned of this information in 2016. The book does not reveal anything about the information.

Comey also wrote that “the unverified material would undoubtedly have been used by political opponents to cast serious doubt on the attorney general’s independence in connection with the Clinton investigation.” (Read more from “Comey: Classified Info Would Have ‘Cast Serious Doubt’ on Loretta Lynch Handling Clinton Investigation” HERE)

Report Finds ‘Insider Threat’ from Unsupervised and Unvetted House IT Aides Greater Than We Thought

Only one IT aide currently working directly for members of Congress has ever completed a background check, members’ data have been improperly mixed with other members’ data, and members provided almost no supervision, officials revealed Thursday in a House hearing spurred by “egregious” violations by former IT aide Imran Awan.

Members of Congress threw “$10 million” in additional funding to the [chief administrative officer (CAO)] in order to enhance their cybersecurity program” in June 2017. The move followed repeated cybersecurity threats against members of Congress, including the detection of what an IG report called “unauthorized access” by Awan. They also had the CAO and others propose how best to clamp down on vulnerabilities. But the CAO revealed Thursday that members blocked the resulting proposal, which called for eliminating Awan’s job category, that of a floating IT aide accountable only to members.

System administrators like Awan “hold the ‘keys to the kingdom,’ meaning they can create accounts, grant access, view, download, update, or delete almost any electronic information within an office,” Inspector General Michael Ptasienski said at the House hearing.

“A rogue system administrator could inflict considerable damage to an office and potentially disclose sensitive information, perform unauthorized updates, or simply export or delete files,” he continued. “A rogue system administrator could take steps to cover up his/her actions and limit the possibility that their behavior being detected or otherwise traced back to them.”

House Chief Administrative Officer Phil Kiko testified that experts found “two dozen” problems with the way the House managed cybersecurity. “Enforcement gaps range from improper vetting of the employees themselves, to unfettered access to House accounts and use of non-approved software and/or cloud services, to the use of unauthorized equipment … far too many have privileged access to the House network with little to no supervision,” he said. Fitting: Take One Guess Where Stormy Daniels Is Donating Her $130,000 NDA Money

By The Daily Wire. The Stormy Daniels media circus thus far includes a porn star, the POTUS, alleged adultery, threats, sex, and serious scandal. And now, fittingly, we can add unholy abortion to the mix.

Sources at Penthouse magazine have told The Daily Beast that Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, will donate the $130,000 she received as part of her nondisclosure agreement to abortion mill Planned Parenthood in Donald Trump and Trump lawyer Michael Cohen’s names.

Cohen reportedly paid Daniels the cash out of his own personal funds as part of the NDA regarding her alleged affair with a married Trump in 2006. President Trump has denied the affair and any knowledge of the NDA or the payoff.

The porn star who leveraged her newfound fame into a strip show dubbed the “Make America Horny Again” tour will grace Penthouse magazine for an in-depth, multi-day interview and a nude photo spread for the May 8 issue.

“Penthouse Pet of the Century,” the headline will read, according to The Daily Beast, and the subheading will say, “Getting Intimate with the Most Wanted Woman in America.” (Read more from “Fitting: Take One Guess Where Stormy Daniels Is Donating Her $130,000 NDA Money” HERE)

Stormy Daniels Releases Sketch of Man Who Allegedly Threatened Her over Trump Affair

By CNN. Stormy Daniels released a composite sketch on Tuesday of the man she alleges threatened her in 2011 and is offering a $100,000 reward to anyone who can identify the perpetrator.

The disclosure of the drawing and the announcement of the monetary reward on ABC’s “The View” mark yet another theatrical twist in the dramatic public feud between the porn star and President Donald Trump. Daniels alleges that she had a sexual encounter with Trump in 2006 and that she signed a secret agreement just days before the 2016 election in exchange for the promise to stay quiet about the alleged affair. She is now suing Trump in the hopes of voiding that agreement. . .

Daniels, recounting the alleged 2011 incident on “The View,” said that what she remembers “so clearly about him was that nothing looked alarming about the way he looked at first.”

At the top of the sketch, it states that the man is between 5’9″ and 6′ tall, between his 30s and early 40s, and with a lean but “fit” body type. (Read more from “Stormy Daniels Releases Sketch of Man Who Allegedly Threatened Her over Trump Affair” HERE)
