Unsealed Documents Just Revealed Something Unsettling About the Las Vegas Shooting

The girlfriend of the Las Vegas shooter told authorities that they would likely find her fingerprints on some of Stephen Paddock’s bullets because she sometimes assisted him in loading ammunition into magazines, court documents unsealed on Friday revealed.

There was no evidence at that time of “criminal involvement” by Marilou Danley, an Oct. 3 document showed, but it noted that investigators had not ruled out the possibility. Officials also reportedly sought the email, Facebook and Instagram accounts of Danley, who was in the Philippines during the Oct. 1 shooting.

Paddock fatally shot himself after firing from a Las Vegas Strip hotel room into a concert crowd, killing 58 people and injuring hundreds.

Also unveiled on Friday: Emails Paddock had exchanged about buying rifles and bump stocks months before he carried out the deadliest mass shooting in modern American history. Paddock reportedly used guns equipped with the device, which allows semi-automatic weapons to fire almost as quickly as automatic ones.

The documents said Paddock had received an email from a Gmail account in July encouraging him to try an AR-style rifle before buying one. “We have huge selection” in the Las Vegas area, the email allegedly noted. Here’s What Trump’s Physical Fitness Exam Had to Say About His Health

Donald Trump’s White House doctor says, “The President is in excellent health.”

Dr. Ronny Jackson says in a statement released by the White House that Trump’s physical Friday “went exceptionally well.” . . .

The statement was distributed after the president received his first physical since taking office at Walter Reed military hospital.

The physical exam was conducted by Dr. Ronny Jackson, who has served for Presidents George W. Bush, Obama and Trump, at the Walter Reed National Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland, according to Vox . . .

As expected, Trump’s exam did not include a psychiatric evaluation. When he spoke to reporters on Air Force One earlier this week, White House spokesman Hogan Gidley said it wouldn’t be included in the physical, The Hill reported. Pop Star Calls out Oprah, Says Talk Show Host Has Always Known About the Sexual Abuse

World-renowned pop star Seal didn’t tiptoe around his feelings toward Oprah Winfrey, calling her out for her alleged knowledge about the accusations of sexual misconduct against former movie mogul Harvey Weinstein.

Seal took to Instagram Wednesday where he accused Winfrey of being “part of the problem for decades. But suddenly they all think you are the solution.”

The “Kiss from a Rose” singer posted two memes on his account: One that showed Winfrey kissing Weinstein on the cheek and in the other, the megastar appears to be introducing a young woman to Weinstein.

Winfrey and Weinstein maintained a close friendship for decades. She’s denied having any knowledge about his alleged sexual misconduct against women.

Some women have even accused Weinstein of using Winfrey to lure them to him, The Daily Caller reported. (Read more from “Pop Star Calls out Oprah, Says Talk Show Host Has Always Known About the Sexual Abuse” HERE)

What Happened to the Super Secret $1 Billion Military Satellite?

The Pentagon is not saying anything about the fate of the military payload, code-named “Zuma,” that was launched this week and may have crashed soon after, and neither is anyone else.

“I would have to refer you to SpaceX, who conducted the launch,” said Dana White, chief Pentagon spokesperson when questioned about the unexplained mystery Thursday, four days after the satellite did or did not go into orbit, or more likely ended up falling back to Earth and plunging into the ocean.

A reporter for Bloomberg, who was among the first to report that something had gone awry with Sunday’s launch, was aghast that Pentagon briefers were refusing to give even the barest details about the highly-classified mission.

“I’m sorry. This is a billion-dollar satellite. It’s been four days. Was it a success or a failure?” pressed Bloomberg’s Tony Capaccio. “And what’s the fate of the satellite?”

“I’m done. We’re not going to be able to give you any more information,” replied Lt. Gen. Kenneth McKenzie, director of operations for the Joint Staff. (Read more from “What Happened to the Super Secret $1 Billion Military Satellite?” HERE)

Exposed: Inside America’s Multi-Billion Dollar Body Parts Trade

By Brian Grow. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is interviewing former employees of a funeral home whose owner runs a side business on the same premises selling human body parts. . .

One ex-employee, Kari Escher, said she was especially troubled by the practices of Hess’s mother, Shirley Koch, who works at the facility. Escher said Koch, who embalmed and dismembered bodies, pulled teeth from some of the corpses to extract the gold in crowns or fillings.

“She showed me her collection of gold teeth one day,” said Escher, who helped manage a former cremation-marketing business owned by Hess. . .

[N]o federal law governs the sale of cadavers or body parts for use in research or education. Few state laws provide any oversight. That means almost anyone, regardless of expertise, can dissect and sell human remains. . .

There is even more money to be made in dissecting those bodies and selling the parts. A price quote Hess sent to an Arizona medical training lab in 2016 offered torsos for $1,000 each. A pelvis with upper legs went for $1,200, heads for $500, a knee for $250, and a foot for $125, according to a 2013 Donor Services price list reviewed by Reuters. Funeral Home Runs a Side Business Selling Human Body Parts – and Made So Much Money Selling Dead People’s Gold Teeth That the Owner’s Mother Took the Whole Family to Disneyland

By DailyMail. A Colorado funeral home that also sells human body parts has sparked an FBI probe after its owners were accused of removing gold teeth from dead bodies and selling them before using the money to go to Disneyland.

Keri Escher, an ex-employee of Sunset Mesa Funeral Home in Montrose, told Reuters that she found what Shirley Koch was doing extremely troubling.

Koch works at the funeral home embalming and dismembering bodies. She’s the mother of Megan Hess, the owner.

Escher, who helped manage a former cremation-marketing business run by Hess, said Koch would pull teeth from some of the corpses to extract the gold in crowns or fillings and then sell what she collected.

‘She showed me her collection of gold teeth one day,’ Escher told the outlet. ‘She had sold a different batch a year prior, and they took the whole family to Disneyland in California on the gold that they cashed in.’ (Read more from “Funeral Home Runs a Side Business Selling Human Body Parts – and Made So Much Money Selling Dead People’s Gold Teeth That the Owner’s Mother Took the Whole Family to Disneyland” HERE)

Obama’s ICE ‘Missed Opportunities’ to Arrest High-Risk Terror-Linked Aliens

The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency under former President Barack Obama may have failed to identify and arrest “highest risk” known or suspected terrorist aliens due to the absence of follow-up screenings after they are released.

Sanctuary cities that refused to cooperate with immigration authorities also prevented the agency from following up on the individuals in question, reveals a watchdog agency.

Based on a study of case files of detained aliens identified as known or suspected terrorists during fiscal years 2013 through 2015, the inspector general for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) found:

ICE continues to face significant challenges with its screening of aliens who may have ties to terrorism. Auditors warn ICE may have missed opportunities to identify, apprehend, and adjudicate the status of aliens posing the highest risk to public safety and national security.

The audit indicated law enforcement agencies in sanctuary cities prevent ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) from screening criminal aliens for terrorist ties. (Read more from “Obama’s ICE ‘Missed Opportunities’ to Arrest High-Risk Terror-Linked Aliens” HERE)

Facebook Developing Gadget Which Will Let It Put Microphones and Cameras in People’s Homes

By Jasper Hamill. The social network is planning to release its first ever piece of consumer hardware which will be called Portal and cost a whopping $499 (£368), a website called Cheddar has claimed.

The device will feature a 15inch screen, a wide-angle camera with facial recognition and microphones to allow voice control.

It’s expected to use facial recognition to allow people to log into their accounts without having to type in passwords and will be dedicated to video chat.

The gadget has been designed by a shadowy Facebook department called Building 8 that’s also working on mind-reading technology.

‘Rather than position the device as a smart assistant akin to Amazon’s Echo speakers, Facebook intends to pitch Portal as a way for families and friends to stay connected through video chatting and other social features,’ the website wrote. Facebook Wants You to Send in Your Nudes, to Stop Revenge Porn

By Rob Waugh. Facebook wants you to send in your nudes, so the company can battle revenge porn – and it’s totally legit.

It might sound like an email scam, but the company’s piloting the technology in Australia – allowing people who’ve shared nudes with partners to stop the files being shared when a relationship ends.

People who are concerned that an ex-partner might share nudes on WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook can upload the files – and the company ‘fingerprints’ them.

From that point, any attempts to upload or share the same image will be blocked, the Guardian reports.

Australia’s e-safety commissioner Julia Inman Grant told ABC, ‘We see many scenarios where maybe photos or videos were taken consensually at one point, but there was not any sort of consent to send the images or videos more broadly.’ (Read more from “Facebook Wants You to Send in Your Nudes, to Stop Revenge Porn” HERE)

US Media Bias Ranks Worst in the World

More than in any other country, Americans on both sides of the political aisle believe the media does does a poor job covering political issues fairly, according to a blockbuster new survey of media consumption in 38 nations.

What’s more, the Pew Research Center’s study found that supporters of President Trump believe the media is doing a worse job covering politics than the supporters of any of the other international political leaders in countries surveyed.

“Large gaps in ratings of the media emerge between governing party supporters and non-supporters. On the question of whether their news media cover political issues fairly, for example, partisan differences appear in 20 of the 38 countries surveyed. In five countries, the gap is at least 20 percentage points, with the largest by far in the U.S. at 34 percentage points,” said Pew.

The survey found that just 21 percent of Americans supportive of Trump and Republicans believe the media is fair. But it also found that just 55 percent of those who don’t back Trump also believe the media is not fairly covering politics in the U.S. (Read more from “US Media Bias Ranks Worst in the World” HERE)

Editor Fired for ‘Wrong Opinion’ on 3rd Gender Choice on Licenses

The editor of Vermont’s largest newspaper who was fired after a series of tweets about a state proposal to add a third gender option to driver licenses says he voiced the wrong opinion.

Gannett, the owner of the Burlington Free Press, says former editor Denis Finley violated the company’s social media guidelines.

Finley was criticized after tweeting about the possibility of adding a third gender option on driver’s licenses. On Friday, he tweeted: “Awesome! That makes us one step closer to the apocalypse.” (Read more from “Editor Fired for ‘Wrong Opinion’ on 3rd Gender Choice on Licenses” HERE)

Trump: Why Allow Immigrants From ‘Sh**Hole’ Countries

In bluntly vulgar language, President Donald Trump questioned Thursday why the U.S. would accept more immigrants from Haiti and “shithole countries” in Africa rather than places like Norway, as he rejected a bipartisan immigration deal, according to people briefed on the extraordinary Oval Office conversation.

Trump’s contemptuous description of an entire continent startled lawmakers in the meeting and immediately revived charges that the president is racist. The White House did not deny his remark but issued a statement saying Trump supports immigration policies that welcome “those who can contribute to our society.”

Trump’s comments came as two senators presented details of a bipartisan compromise that would extend protections against deportation for hundreds of thousands of young immigrants — and also strengthen border protections, as Trump has insisted.
