White House Responds to Anti-Trump Ideology Expressed by New Pope

When Robert Prevost, a Chicago archbishop for the Catholic church, this week was picked to be the new pope, Leo XIV, President Donald Trump wished him well.

“Congratulations to Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost, who was just named Pope. It is such an honor to realize that he is the first American Pope,” Trump said on his Truth Social account.

“What excitement, and what a Great Honor for our Country. I look forward to meeting Pope Leo XIV. It will be a very meaningful moment!” he said.

Then surfaced social media statements from Prevost, while a cardinal, that adopted an anti-Trump, pro-illegal immigration agenda. The statements specifically targeted the current White House administration with condemnation.

So the White House responded to that, too.

“The president made his reaction to Pope Leo’s announcement yesterday he is very proud to have an American Pope,” White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said during her briefing. “It’s a great thing…and we’re praying for him.” (Read more from “White House Responds to Anti-Trump Ideology Expressed by New Pope” HERE)

LGBTQ Bar Raided by Swarm of Cops, and Trump Is Getting Blamed for It

The LGBTQ community is furious over a police raid against a gay bar in Pittsburgh, and some are linking it to the rhetoric coming out of the Trump administration.

Witnesses said nearly two dozen police officers raided the P Town bar on Baum Blvd. on Friday at about 11:30 p.m. The surprise inspection from the Nuisance Bar Task Force included officers from the city health department, the local fire department, and state police.

One report said that the officers arrived during a rendition of “Bohemian Rhapsody” by local drag queen Blade Matthews, and they had to wait several minutes until the performance was over to order the attendees out of the bar. . .

A writer at the Canary news website linked the raid to the policies of the Trump administration.

“As the government fans the flames of a culture war, both police and members of the public are emboldened in persecuting and vilifying queer people,” the article read.

“Historically, queer people are over-policed in public spaces, be it bars, bathrooms, or otherwise. States are emboldening bigots with their own bigoted legislation — we cannot allow it to happen,” the article continued. New Audio Reveals Planned Parenthoods Hand Out Cross-Sex Hormones To Kids Like Candy

Planned Parenthood facilities across the United States agreed to help someone they believed to be a teenager obtain cross-sex hormones, audio released by Live Action alleges.

The undercover investigator, disguised as a gender-confused 16-year-old girl, called several Planned Parenthood locations across New York and Minnesota to inquire about getting a testosterone prescription after she “just decided last week” that she wanted to lean into transgenderism.

All of the facilities agreed over the phone to help the alleged teen book an “initial appointment” and secure the prescription, despite her age, hesitancy about including her mom in the process, and lack of proof that she had received gender-related counseling or therapy.

The Planned Parenthood in Mankato, Minnesota, confirmed that the caller, despite claiming to be under 18 years old, was still “good to be seen here.”

“You’re okay to do it for minors?” the investigator asked another Planned Parenthood in Little Canada, Minnesota.

“Yes,” the Planned Parenthood employee confirmed. “You can legally get hormones under 18.” (Read more from “New Audio Reveals Planned Parenthoods Hand Out Cross-Sex Hormones To Kids Like Candy” HERE)

Trump Announces U.K. Trade Deal Hours After Media Predict Failure

When President Donald Trump announced tariffs on most countries, the propaganda press reported that he was dangerously offending allied nations like the United Kingdom. The sky was falling. It would be a disaster!

And while they doubted much good would come of Trump’s strategy to renegotiate U.S. trade agreements, the media complained it was taking him too long to show any results. As if countries benefiting from trade deals that have been in place for decades would be willing to ink new deals in a matter of weeks.

CNN’s Senior Business Editor Olesya Dmitracova wrote this week that there was a new trade deal between the United Kingdom and India but still no deal from Trump.

“For weeks, Trump has said that at least one trade deal is imminent with one of the dozens of countries in active negotiations with the United States to avoid his punishing tariffs — with India among the most likely to reach such an agreement first,” Dmitracova wrote. “The prospect of an agreement with any one major trading partner has boosted confidence in US financial markets and raised hopes that the world may avoid the worst impacts of America’s tariffs. But so far, no deal has emerged. Instead, it’s the United Kingdom that has secured a trade deal with India.”

Former Biden mouthpiece Jen Psaki mocked Trump on CNN for not yet having a deal. (Read more from “Trump Announces U.K. Trade Deal Hours After Media Predict Failure” HERE)

Attorney Says New Lawfare Trial Opens the Door to Criminalizing ‘Spirituality’ in America

The wellness company OneTaste is currently on trial for the sham charge of “Forced Labor Conspiracy,” a desperate case built during the peak hysteria of the #MeToo movement. This lawfare campaign, brought to us by the Biden regime holdovers in the Eastern District of New York, claims that consenting adults who willingly joined a spiritual wellness community were somehow transformed into makeshift slaves.

This case should have never made it to trial. It’s propped up by a disgraceful cocktail of fake evidence, paid witnesses, FBI misconduct, propaganda media and Netflix documentaries, and political bias. From day one, this has been about punishing beliefs and scoring #MeToo points, not proving or punishing actual crimes.

Lead prosecutor Assistant US Attorney Kaitlin Farrell made that painfully clear in court when she basically admitted what this case is really about. In her recent remarks, Farrell revealed that the OneTaste prosecution is built on criminalizing thoughts and beliefs, not actual actions. Here are her chilling words:

I think, as your Honor understands, our theory of the case is that the defendants put some the testifying witnesses, our victims, in psychological distress and also taught them concepts that taught them basically to consent to everything and to be willing to engage in certain sexual activities that even at the time they would have viewed as something they wouldn’t consent to, but they did so because they were taught this was a philosophy or a religious practice that was good for them, and if they continued to do it they would reach enlightenment.

Let’s break this down: if you hold a spiritual or personal belief and actually live by it, the US government thinks that might be a crime. That’s not justice; that’s straight-up Marxist-style control. The OneTaste case isn’t about proving force or fraud. It’s about turning unconventional beliefs into “coercion” and rewriting consent to fit some state-approved script.

So, if the DOJ can twist spiritual or alternative beliefs into thought crimes, it sets the stage for something much bigger, doesn’t it? What happens when traditional religious practices come under fire? Church discipline, Christian counseling, Jewish or Muslim teachings—all of it could be on the chopping block. This isn’t just a trial. It’s the start of a very dangerous precedent.

That’s exactly why former Trump administration attorney James Lawrence is speaking out. James is based in North Carolina and served as deputy general counsel at HHS and later as general counsel at the FDA under President Trump. He also successfully litigated the first lawsuit against Twitter on behalf of New York Times journalist Alex Berenson. Now he’s sounding the alarm, warning that what these lawfare prosecutors are doing in the OneTaste case could reshape religious freedom in America. In a recent memo, he fired back at the lead prosecutor’s attempt to criminalize “thought crimes” and explained how that move could put people of faith directly in the government’s crosshairs. Former CDC Director: Gain-of-Function Research Moratorium ‘Very Important’

The former director of the federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Dr. Robert Redfield, said Wednesday that he is in complete support of the decision by President Trump to put a moratorium on funding of gain-of-function research, calling it “very important.”

Trump signed an executive order on Monday in order to stop these experiments by cutting off funding to countries where they occur.

“I did an op-ed in The Wall Street Journal back in 2021, really calling on our government to put a moratorium on it,” Redfield told Newsmax. “There’s really no scientific advantage for doing this type of research and there’s a real downside in terms of creating pathogens that may cause problems that we don’t have countermeasures [for], like the COVID-19 virus, which I do believe was a direct consequence of gain-of-function research.”

The position that supporters of gain-of-function research take, that scientists need to “create these dangerous viruses to know how to develop countermeasures to them,” is “a mistake,” Redfield added.

“I argue that we have enough scientific capacity that if and when we’re challenged with a new pathogen, that we can apply the tools of science to address that pathogen and develop countermeasures,” he continued. “We don’t have to create the pathogen to figure out how to defend against the pathogen.” (Read more from “Former CDC Director: Gain-of-Function Research Moratorium ‘Very Important’” HERE)

Trump Says He’s Naming Fox News Host, Former Judge Jeanine Pirro as Top Federal Prosecutor in D.C.

President Donald Trump said Thursday that he is naming Fox News host Jeanine Pirro, a former county prosecutor and elected judge, to be the top federal prosecutor for the nation’s capital after abandoning his first pick for the job.

Pirro, who joined Fox News in 2006, co-hosts the network’s show “The Five” on weekday evenings. She was elected as a judge in New York’s Westchester County Court in 1990 before serving three terms as the county’s elected district attorney.

Trump tapped Pirro to at least temporarily lead the nation’s largest U.S. Attorney’s office after pulling his nomination of conservative activist Ed Martin Jr. for the position earlier on Thursday. In a post on Truth Social, Trump said he was naming Pirro as the interim U.S. attorney in Washington, D.C., but didn’t indicate whether he would nominate her for the Senate-confirmed position on a more permanent basis.

“Jeanine is incredibly well qualified for this position, and is considered one of the Top District Attorneys in the History of the State of New York. She is in a class by herself,” Trump wrote.

Trump withdrew Martin from consideration after a key Republican senator said he could not support Martin for the job due to his defense of rioters who stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Trump Just Issued a Brutal Ultimatum to Putin – The Clock Is Ticking

President Donald Trump on Thursday gave an update on negotiations regarding the war between Ukraine and Russia, putting Moscow on notice that it will face consequences if it does not agree to a 30-day ceasefire deal.

Trump appears to be taking a tougher stance against Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has been rather uncooperative when it comes to ironing out a peace deal.

“The U.S. calls for, ideally, a 30-day unconditional ceasefire. Hopefully, an acceptable ceasefire will be observed, and both Countries will be held accountable for respecting the sanctity of these direct negotiations,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social.

The president further threatened, “If the ceasefire is not respected, the U.S. and its partners will impose further sanctions.”

Thousands of young soldiers are dying on a weekly basis, and everybody should want it to STOP. I do, and the United States of America does, also. As President, I will stay committed to securing Peace between Russia and Ukraine, together with the Europeans, and a Lasting Peace it will be! This ceasefire must ultimately build toward a Peace Agreement. It can all be done very quickly, and I will be available on a moment’s notice if my services are needed. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

New York Budget Proposal Could Allow Letitia James to Use Taxpayer Funds for Personal Legal Fees in Trump Admin Probe

Democrats’ proposed state operations budget could enable New York Attorney General Letitia James to use taxpayer funds for personal legal expenses resulting from a possible Trump administration investigation.

If passed, the state operations budget would create a $10 million fund to reimburse employees for the cost of retaining “private counsel” in response to legal actions initiated by the federal government after Jan. 1, 2025 in connection with their state employment, according to the bill text. In April, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) referred James to the Department of Justice (DOJ) for a potential probe related to allegations of mortgage fraud involving a Virginia residence first reported by White Collar Fraud.

The FBI opened a formal investigation into the matter on Thursday, according to the Times Union.

The fund included in the proposed budget can also be used for issues “unrelated” to their employment but “reasonably likely to have been commenced” due to their work.

To determine whether a legal action against the attorney general is related to her employment, Democratic New York Gov. Kathy Hochul can consider factors like whether the attorney general has “previously initiated or otherwise participated in or supported a criminal or civil investigation or prosecution of the United States government or a United States government official,” according to the budget’s text. Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost of Chicago Becomes First American Pope

Cardinal Robert Francis Prevost of Chicago was chosen by the College of Cardinals to be the new pope of the Catholic Church, making him the first American pope in the Church’s 2,000-year history. The Chicago native chose the papal name Leo XIV. White smoke appeared above the Sistine Chapel at approximately 6:08 p.m. Rome time, followed by the chiming of the Vatican’s bells, which confirmed for the faithful that a new successor to the See of St. Peter the Apostle was indeed chosen.

Here is an English translation of the full transcript of Pope Leo XIV’s first address:

Peace be with all of you! Dearest brothers and sisters, this is the first greeting of the Risen Christ, the Good Shepherd who gave His life for God’s flock.

I, too, would like this greeting of peace to enter your hearts, to reach your families, and all people, wherever they are, all of the people, all over the earth.

Peace be with you!

This is the peace of the Risen Christ, an unarmed peace and a disarming peace, humble and persevering. It comes from God, God who loves us all unconditionally. We still have in our ears that weak, but always courageous voice of Pope Francis as he blessed Rome!

The Pope who blessed Rome, gave his blessing to the world, to the entire world, that Easter morning. Allow me to follow up on that same blessing: God loves us, God loves you all, and evil will not prevail!

We are all in the hands of God.

Therefore, without fear, united hand in hand with God and among ourselves, we move forward. We are disciples of Christ.

Christ precedes us. The world needs His light. Humanity needs Him as the bridge to allows it to be reached by God and by His love.

Help us, too, and help each other to build bridges, with dialogue, with meetings, uniting us all to be one people, always in peace. Thank you, Pope Francis! I also want to thank all my brother cardinals who have chosen me to be Peter’s Successor, and to walk together with you, as a united Church always seeking peace, justice, always seeking to work as men and women who are faithful to Jesus Christ, without fear, to proclaim the Gospel, to be missionaries.

I am a son of Saint Augustine, an Augustinian, who said: “with you I am a Christian and for you I am a bishop.” In this sense, we can all walk together towards that homeland that God has prepared for us.

To the Church of Rome, a special greeting! We must seek together how to be a missionary Church, a Church that builds bridges, dialogue, always open to receive like this square with its open arms, all, all who need our charity, our presence, dialogue, and love.

And if you allow me a word, a greeting to all and especially to my beloved diocese of Chiclayo, in Peru, where a faithful people accompanied their bishop, shared their faith and gave so, so much to continue being a Church that is faithful to Jesus Christ.

To all of you, brothers and sisters of Rome, of Italy, of the whole world, we want to be a Church of the Synod, a Church that walks, a Church that always seeks peace, that always seeks charity, that always seeks to be close, especially to those who suffer.

Today is the day of the Supplication to Our Lady of Pompeii. Our Mother Mary always wants to walk with us, to be close, to help us with her intercession and her love. So, I would like to pray together with you. Let us pray together for this new mission, for the whole Church, for peace in the world and let us also ask Mary, our Mother, for this special grace.

[Began the recitation of the Hail Mary in Latin.]
