Majority of Voters Describe Trump’s Second Term as ‘Chaotic’ and ‘Scary,’ New Poll Reveals

More than half of voters described President Trump’s second term in office as “chaotic” and “scary” in a new poll released Friday.

The New York Times/Siena College poll found 66% of registered US voters felt the term “chaotic” described Trump’s second stint in the White House well, while 59% thought “scary” was apt.

Nearly half of Republican voters (47%) agreed that the president’s first three months back in power have been “chaotic,” as did 75% of Independents.

Fewer Republicans and Independents — 36% and 61%, respectively — thought “scary” was the right word.

The survey found that 42% of voters described Trump’s second term as “exciting.”

Trump’s approval rating was underwater on every issue polled by the New York Times and Siena College. (Read more from “Majority of Voters Describe Trump’s Second Term as ‘Chaotic’ and ‘Scary,’ New Poll Reveals” HERE)

FBI Arrests Judge, Alleging She Interfered in Immigration Operation

The FBI arrested a county judge in Milwaukee on Friday, alleging that she obstructed federal authorities who were seeking to detain an [illegal aliens] by escorting the man and his defense attorney though a nonpublic jury door.

The arrest of Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan marks a significant escalation in the Trump administration’s crackdown on immigration, in line with its rhetoric about going after local and state authorities on immigration-related matters. It also marks another step in the Trump administration’s battles with judges over federal policy.

In an appearance on Fox News on Friday, Attorney General Pam Bondi used the arrest to pull in the administration’s broader, repeated criticism of judges. “What’s happening to our judiciary is beyond me,” Bondi said, before using the term “deranged.”

Dugan faces charges of obstructing or impeding a proceeding before a department or agency of the United States, as well as a charge of concealing an individual to prevent his discovery and arrest.

A statement issued on Dugan’s behalf indicated she had hired former U.S. Attorney Steven Biskupic to represent her in the case. “Judge Dugan will defend herself vigorously, and looks forward to being exonerated,” the statement said. Woman Who Said She Survived Jeffrey Epstein Abuse Commits Suicide

Prominent Jeffrey Epstein accuser Virginia Roberts Giuffre reportedly died by suicide at 41 years old on Friday, according to her family.

Before Epstein’s arrest and death in 2019, Giuffre became a leading voice against the billionaire, alleging she was recruited at age 16 by Epstein’s longtime associate Ghislaine Maxwell to perform sexual acts. In a statement to NBC News, her family said she died in Neergabby, Australia, where she had lived for several years.

“It is with utterly broken hearts that we announce that Virginia passed away last night at her farm in Western Australia,” her family told the outlet. “She lost her life to suicide, after being a lifelong victim of sexual abuse and sex trafficking.”

“Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She was the light that lifted so many survivors,” her family added. “In the end, the toll of abuse is so heavy that it became unbearable for Virginia to handle its weight.”

On March 30, Giuffre posted on her Instagram account a picture of her bruised face, detailing how she had been involved in a car accident and was allegedly told by doctors that she only had days to live. (Read more from “Woman Who Said She Survived Jeffrey Epstein Abuse Commits Suicide” HERE)

Education Department Opens Investigation Into University With ‘Deep Involvements With Chinese Entities’

The Department of Education (ED) opened an investigation into the University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley) Friday over its reported ties to Chinese sources, the Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.

ED claims the university has failed to report “hundreds of millions of dollars” it received from foreign government over a span of several years, prompting the department to initiate a records request, the DCNF was told. The foreign funding sparks concerns the school has “deep involvements with Chinese entities” and may be sharing information about research and “important technologies.”

The Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in 2023 found “grave research security concerns” with UC Berkeley due to the school’s partnership with the CCP-controlled Tsinghua University and the Shenzhen government. Hegseth Orders Additional Guidance To Reenlist Troops Booted Over Biden’s ‘Unlawful’ Covid Shot Mandate

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth signed a memorandum on Wednesday ordering additional guidance be provided to Pentagon officials to fast-track the reenlistment of troops forced out due to the service’s Biden-era Covid shot mandate.

“We’re doing everything we can, as quickly as we can, to reinstate those who were affected by that policy,” Hegseth said in a video message announcing the new directives.

The Wednesday memo directs the Pentagon’s under secretary for personnel and readiness “to provide additional guidance to the Military Department Review Boards concerning the review of requests from Service members and former Service members adversely impacted by the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.”

The goal of these new instructions, according to the directive, is to “facilitate, as appropriate, the removal of adverse actions based solely on refusal to take the COVID-19 vaccine (or requesting a medical or religious/administrative accommodation), discharge upgrades for individuals involuntarily separated solely for refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine whose service was characterized as less than fully honorable, and appropriate remedies for Service members who suffered a wide variety of other career setbacks resulting from their principled refusal to take the COVID-19 vaccine.”

The “unfair, overbroad, and unnecessary” Covid jab mandate was announced by Biden Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin in August 2021. While it was ultimately repealed following an act of Congress in early 2023, the damage was already done. More than 8,700 service members were effectively forced out of the military after forgoing the experimental shot. Three Rogue Judges Block Trump Admin Efforts To Eradicate Discriminatory DEI From Schools

The attempted judicial coup continues apace as three federal district court judges issued directives to stop the Trump administration’s ability to halt federal funding for schools that participate in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) discrimination.

Thursday saw district judges in Maryland, New Hampshire, and Washington, D.C., issue separate sweeping orders to stop some of the major education reforms President Donald Trump was elected to enact.

“Unelected judges, keen to disrupt the President’s efforts to remove color-consciousness from American education have forgotten that the judiciary is the only non-political branch of our tripartite system of government,” Sarah Parshall Perry, vice president and legal fellow at Defending Education, told The Federalist. “Judges that prohibit the Department of Education’s enforcement of its ‘Dear Colleague Letter’ and related civil rights compliance form forget that both are constitutional and a plain-text application of longstanding federal civil rights laws like Title VI.”

“That law specifically conceives that institutions which do not uphold race neutral policies can have their federal funding revoked,” she continued. “Judges are bound to interpret the laws as they read — not as judges wish they read.”

The cases, brought by far-left teachers unions, the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and others, were decided by two Trump-appointed judges and one appointee of President Barack Obama. They also came just one day after Trump signed yet another executive order trying to rein in the DEI-caused destruction in schools. Deep State: Dem-Voting Federal Bureaucrats Confirm They Would Defy Legal Presidential Orders, Poll Shows

A new poll found that a majority of federal employees who previously voted Democrat are geared up to act against the interest of their elected boss, President Donald Trump.

The data, released Thursday by the Napolitan Institute, shows that 76% of voters for former Vice President Kamala Harris working under Trump say they will “resist” his plans, while 75% say they would hypothetically disobey, or “do what [they] thought was best,” when given a legal order that they disagreed with. The Napolitan Institute said the numbers show a “deep partisan divide in the Administrative State” as Trump moves to bring the numerous halls of government in alignment with his agenda.

“Our research confirms that the Administrative State is not composed of thoughtful, nonpartisan experts who are making neutral decisions for voters,” Napolitan Institute founder Scott Rasmussen said in a press release. “The deep partisan divide within the federal bureaucracy and the shifting public opinion present significant challenges for the current administration.”

The survey asked respondents to “imagine that you were the head of a federal government agency” and “President Trump gave you an order that was legal but you believed was bad policy.”

“Would you follow the president’s order or do what you thought was best?” The questionnaire asked.

The results showed that 75% of bureaucrats who voted for Harris for president would “do what [they] thought was best,” in regards to Trump’s orders, while 9% were unsure and the rest would obey him. This contrasted with 80% of Trump-voting officials who said they would follow the president despite their disagreements, with 2% saying they were unsure and 18% saying they would not. New Study Debunks Claim About OB-GYNs Fleeing Pro-Life States

A new study by researchers at the University of California at Berkeley School of Public Health and other major universities has put a damper on the claim that obstetrician-gynecologists (OB-GYNs) are systematically fleeing pro-life states or ones with more liberal abortion laws.

To the contrary, the cohort study measured data collected from Jan. 1, 2018, to Sept. 30, 2024. It concluded that the number of OB-GYNs in pro-life states actually increased at a faster rate than in pro-abortion states in the wake of the Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization (2022) decision by the U.S. Supreme Court. That case overturned 1973’s Roe v. Wade and returned the issue of abortion regulation to the purview of individual states and to Congress.

Based on data from more than 60,000 OB-GYNs, the report, released Monday, determined that the number of the women’s heath doctors actually increased by 8.3% in states where abortion was banned compared with 7.7% in states where abortion was protected after the Dobbs decision.

Overall, the study held that as of 2024, “the number of OB-GYNs did not significantly change across policy environments [states with varying abortion laws].”

According to the report, there are 14 states that ban abortions in almost all circumstances, and six states that have enforced bans on abortion after six to 12 weeks of gestation. The study’s findings are less surprising when one considers the fact that most OB-GYNs do not regularly conduct abortions. A Guttmacher Institute survey found that only 7% of OB-GYNs provided at least one abortion in 2013 and 2014. (Read more from “New Study Debunks Claim About OB-GYNs Fleeing Pro-Life States” HERE)

Progressives Abandon Christianity, Become Episcopalian

I believe that America’s core ideals are very much linked to its Christian faith. So as Easter has just passed, I thought this would be a good time to take a closer look at the state of the American church and then weep quietly and say it was a great country while it lasted.

Now, according to a Pew poll, 62% of Americans identify as Christian. This is a slight drop from the 1697 poll which showed 99.9% of Americans were Christian with one heretic hiding in the woods hoping some long-haired guy with a buckle on his hat wouldn’t blow his head off with a blunderbuss.

But today’s religious landscape looks different depending on political affiliation. For instance, on the political Left, 43% of those who identify as progressives say they have abandoned Christianity and become Episcopalians. Fourteen percent of progressives say they have renounced the corrupt beliefs of colonizing white men, have returned to the innocent and beautiful natural religion of indigenous peoples, and were preparing to sacrifice a virgin to the volcano God until they realized that by the time they were sure she was a virgin, she wasn’t a virgin anymore, and if they threw her into a volcano there’d be no one left who knew how to make breakfast. Trump: Russia and Ukraine ‘Are Very Close to a Deal’

President Donald Trump said Friday that Ukraine and Russia “are very close to a deal” following a day of productive conversations.

Trump took to Truth Social just after he landed in Rome to share the details and suggest a meeting between top Russian and Ukrainian officials.

“Just landed in Rome. A good day in talks and meetings with Russia and Ukraine. They are very close to a deal, and the two sides should now meet, at very high levels, to ‘finish it off,’” Trump wrote. “Most of the major points are agreed to.”

“Stop the bloodshed, NOW. We will be wherever is necessary to help facilitate the END to this cruel and senseless war!” he added.

Trump noted earlier in the day that he would be meeting with world leaders during his time in Rome for Pope Francis’s funeral. (Read more from “Trump: Russia and Ukraine ‘Are Very Close to a Deal’” HERE)
