The Indiana Republican primary scheduled for May 3 is a winner take-all-delegates race (57). But already the cards are being stacked against Donald Trump, even if he wins in the primary.
That may end up being good news for Texas Sen. Ted Cruz. Based on interviews conducted by Politico, the Indiana Republican Party has plans to offer its delegates to anyone but billionaire and Republican front-runner Donald Trump.
Party insiders revealed they are in the process of selecting 27 delegates Saturday to represent Indiana at the convention in July. And those delegates are almost certain not to vote for Trump if the expected contested convention takes place.
Craig Dunn, a local GOP leader running to represent Indiana’s 4th Congressional District at the national convention, told Politico, “If Satan had the lead on him and was one delegate away from being nominated as our candidate, and Donald Trump was the alternative, I might vote for Donald Trump,” Dunn said. “I’ve always wanted to own a casino, but he couldn’t give me a casino and have me vote for him.”
Kyle Cheney of Politico reports, “Indiana GOP insiders are working to engineer slates of delegates — three from each of nine congressional districts — that will turn their backs on Trump at a contested convention in July. Another 27 [at-large delegates] will be elected at a state committee meeting next week.”
Doing the math, that means 54 of the 57 total delegates are being hand-selected to vote against Trump in the second vote of a contested convention. (Read more from “Indiana Choosing State Delegates Today, It’s Looking VERY Good for This GOP Candidate” HERE)

Over the past year, Donald Trump has gained a reputation for being a prodigious campaigner, making back to back appearances in different states and hosting sold out rallies most places he goes.
So now it comes as a surprise to many that Donald Trump appears to be clearing his schedule and skipping several previously announced events, possibly marking a shift in campaign focus.
The Trump campaign announced today they would be canceling an arranged press conference set to take place this Friday at Trump’s Los Angeles golf course. The California primary does not occur until June 7, however, the state carries a whopping 172 delegates, making it a significant prize for any GOP candidate hoping to take the nomination.
In addition, Trump will also be skipping the Colorado GOP State Convention – set to occur this Saturday – which will select the state’s Republican delegates. As the likelihood of a contested convention becomes more possible, Trump will need to bring more delegates to his side, making these sort of events beneficial for every candidate.
Instead, Trump plans to focus on his home state of New York, which will host its GOP primary on April 19.
“Mr. Trump is working extremely hard, both on the campaign, which remains his primary focus, and on the multibillion-dollar company he is still running,” wrote campaign spokeswoman Hope Hicks. “Mr. Trump has rescheduled his California trip and will be campaigning in New York. He looks forward to returning to California in the weeks ahead.” (Read more from “Trump Just Made a Major Totally Unexpected Campaign Move – Could Have BIG Repercussions” HERE)

Some top Republicans see House Speaker Paul Ryan as the party’s savior if they can just make him the GOP presidential nominee. But Ryan loses to both major Democratic candidates in head-to-head matchups, with roughly a quarter of Republicans looking somewhere else.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that Hillary Clinton tops Ryan 40% to 34% among Likely U.S. Voters, but a sizable 22% prefer some other candidate given that matchup.
Similarly, Senator Bernie Sanders posts a 41% to 34% win over Ryan, but 20% like another candidate. Five percent (5%) are undecided in both cases.
A closer look at the numbers, however, suggests the danger to Republicans of a brokered convention that denies Donald Trump or Ted Cruz the nomination. Ryan earns GOP support only in the high 50s against both Democrats. If Ryan is the GOP’s choice to run against Clinton, 28% of Republicans opt for someone else. If Sanders is Ryan’s opponent, 24% of GOP voters like another candidate . . .
Ryan is viewed favorably by 59% of Republican voters. That’s little changed from last October and includes only 27% with a Very Favorable opinion of him. But 30% now share an unfavorable view of the House leader, including 14% with a Very Unfavorable one. Unfavorables are up noticeably from 16% and three percent (3%) last fall. Eleven percent (11%) remain undecided. (Read more from “GOP’s Ryan Loses to Clinton, Sanders” HERE)

Sen. Ted Cruz’s overwhelming victory in Wisconsin on Tuesday makes it all but impossible for GOP frontrunner Donald Trump to win the 1,237 delegates he needs to secure the nomination ahead of the RNC convention in Cleveland.
Trump currently leads the GOP field with 743 delegates. He would need to win 58.9 percent of the remaining pledged delegates to obtain the simple majority necessary.
A number of the states remaining award delegates proportionally. The bulk of delegates in one critical upcoming state, Pennsylvania, aren’t officially bound to any candidate. The fight for California’s massive 172 delegates will be fought largely in each of the state’s 54 Congressional Districts.
As a result, Breitbart News estimates that Donald Trump will end the primary portion of the nomination fight with 1164 delegates, 74 short of the 1,237 delegates necessary to win the nomination on the first ballot. This estimate assumes Trump’s performance in upcoming contests is consistent with the results prior to Wisconsin.
In other words, it is a static estimate, assuming no great change in the trajectory, tone, or focus of the campaigns. It isn’t based on any future missteps, like those experienced by the Trump campaign ahead of the Wisconsin primary. Our assumption is, in many respects, the most optimistic for the Trump campaign. Because of this, it underscores the steep challenge Donald Trump faces heading into the 4th Quarter of the primary season. Later this year, the House Select Committee is expected to issue its report pertaining to the mistakes made and what went wrong during the Benghazi attacks on September 11, 2012, which resulted in the death of four Americans.
Chairman of the committee Trey Gowdy has instructed members of the panel not to divulge any details of the report until it is complete. He did, however, release a statement via Twitter on Wednesday aimed at Democrats, who routinely brush off the scandal as trumped up politics.
Democrats use Benghazi like it's a four-letter word. I'd like to remind them it's actually a place where four Americans died.
Democrats have routinely downplayed the events which occurred that day, especially Hillary Clinton. Clinton famously yelled, “what difference, at this point, does it make?” during her appearance before the committee in 2015, despite being secretary of state at the time of the debacle . . .
The committee has held four hearings so far in order to determine specifically what failure occurred enabling the death of U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens, Information Officer Sean Smith, and CIA operatives Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods. Hopefully the public will get answers before the end of the year. (Read more from “Trey Gowdy Just Sent a Brutal Wake-Up Call to Every Single Democrat – There’s No Escaping” HERE)

You are besieged and feel out of place. You thought you were pursuing the ideal American life. A life of God, family, property, business, and country – the life you grew up with. Yet, you feel like an alien surrounded by antithetical values promoted by all the levers of power in your city.
You are surrounded by endless crime with violent felons carrying guns but you are barred from carrying a weapon to protect yourself from the violence. Concurrently, the police are demonized for doing their job, and to the extent they succeed in apprehending the criminals, they are released by the leaky criminal justice system.
While violent felons reign supreme on the streets, you live in fear of the infinite myriad of state regulations on your small business, private property, and personal liberties.
Your state and city tackily promote transgender bathrooms and the broader officious homosexual agenda at every awkward turn, yet that same faux sense of “live and let live” never extends to your ability to purchase the soft drink you want, the gun of your choice, the goods and services you need – unless they are “green,” aka don’t work. Any “liberty” not associated with libertine cultural rotgut is infringed upon.
You pay endless taxes and fees on income, sales, property (and in Maryland, on rain) so that it can purvey the interminable cycle of poverty, anti-growth, and expelling of local businesses…which in turn creates more poverty and higher taxes.
While your city is no longer a sanctuary for your children to walk the streets safely and your business to prosper, it has become a sanctuary for illegal aliens and Islamic refugees.
Your children are trapped in schools where they are forced to worship multiculturalism and blame America first.
Yes, indeed, you are one of the millions of conservative blue-state-Americans (heck there is a hyphenated identity for everything!). In fact, you are likely one of those angry voters who have despaired over the corrupt and dyslexic priorities of our politicians and are attracted to the macro-messaging of Donald Trump.
Any real conservative living in a blue state understands this, yet phony conservatives like John Kasich and Donald Trump clearly don’t. It’s because they share many of those values.
Once again, Donald Trump rewarmed his feigned outrage routine over Ted Cruz’s comments about him subscribing to ‘New York values,’ something Trump himself readily admitted in that infamous “Meet the Press” interview. Now, even the lapdog for the strong man on the block, John Kasich’s Soros-funded Super PAC is getting in on the action. They are airing a TV ad in New York attacking Cruz over those comments and using Trump’s non-sequitur emotional distraction about 9/11 to obfuscate the broader point about New York’s (and other blue state’s) liberal politics.
Remember, when Kasich’s Super PAC ran the ad referring to Cruz as “Lyin’ Ted?” Can they at least be original or do they have to plagiarize every corny line from Trump?
What’s next? A Kasich ad in San Francisco praising “San Francisco values” and distracting with pictures of the workers building the Golden Gate Bridge?
In reality, both Trump and Kasich are quite similar in that they share New York values. Of course, Kasich’s donors, who are hooked into the Soros network, would be offended by Cruz’s remarks about the politics of New York. John Kasich himself shares many of those values as it relates to taxes, spending, guns, and illegal immigration. And he is from Ohio!
As a lifelong Marylander who has always lived in the Baltimore area, I fully appreciate what it’s like to be a conservative living in a social democratic utopia. Recently, I wrote an article explaining what it’s like to live in the “Baltimore basket case.” Were a presidential candidate to come to Maryland in the coming days and bemoan the Baltimore basket case and pledge to lead the federal government in the exact opposite direction, my conservative friends and neighbors in the area would identify and appreciate that message even more than red state conservatives. They would be far from offended.
In politics you know a man best by the nature of what offends them. (For more from the author of “Hey Phony Cons, Blue State Conservatives Know All About #NewYorkValues” please click HERE)

Former President Bill Clinton unloaded on the Obama administration and Black Lives Matter protesters during a campaign event Thursday for his wife in Pennsylvania.
Clinton took a veiled jab at Obama’s handling of world affairs, saying, “Unlike when I was president, a lot of things are coming apart around the world now. We like to just think about our economic issues, but you have to worry about a collapse in Europe dragging back the American economy. You have to worry about the largest number of refugees since World War II. And all this stuff comes home.”
As WND reported, the Clinton family has been unleashing a barrage of attacks on Obama in recent weeks. On March 21, Bill Clinton publicly lamented the “awful legacy” of the past eight years . . .
Then WND reported when Chelsea Clinton took a cue from her father and bashed Obama’s record to benefit her mother in March. Chelsea attacked the president’s key accomplishment – Obamacare.
She blasted the “crushing costs” of Obama’s health-care legislation: “This was part of my mom’s original plan back in ’93 and ’94, as well as premium costs. We can either do that directly or through tax credits. And, kind of figuring out whether she could do that through executive action, or she would need to do that through tax credits working with Congress. She thinks either of those will help solve the challenge of kind of the crushing costs that still exist for too many people, who even are part of the Affordable Care Act and buying insurance.” (Read more from “Bill Unloads on Obama: ‘World Coming Apart'” HERE)
Every election cycle, U.S. Congressman Thomas Massie said he is “extorted” by the Republican Party to pay $300,000 for his committee assignments . . .
These “assessments,” essentially dues to the Republican party, are fundraised through political action committees and lobbyists as a price to pay for committee positions, Massie told a crowd of about 25 during a recent coffee and pizza forum in Flatwoods.
He told them, “I can’t go and do a fundraiser and raise $300,000 and stand up in front of people and tell them, ‘Well, you know what? It’s not really about the election. I need the money to buy a committee seat.’”
It’s not just that way with the Republican Party — Democrats are also expected to pay to be on certain committees, too, and the price tag steepens based on the power of both the committee and the seat. Powerful committee chairmanships can cost millions of dollars, Massie said.
Massie sits on three House committees: Oversight and Reform, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Science, Space and Technology. (Read more from “Congressman Says Washington Committee Seats Come at a Price” HERE)

A former attorney for “D.C. madam” Deborah Jeane Palfrey kicked off a viral news speculation frenzy last week, claiming he possesses previously unreleased phone records that are “very relevant” to the presidential election and that he’s prepared to risk jail to release them.
Conversations with people close to the high-profile escort case corroborate some claims from Montgomery Blair Sibley about the nature of documents he says he possesses but have added uncertainty as to whether a presidential candidate actually is identified.
Sibley says he has two sets of records that he wants court permission to release: a set of raw phone records from Palfrey’s escort service with an estimated 5,000 unique numbers and a Verizon Wireless subpoena response with names, addresses and Social Security numbers of 815 of those callers.
On March 28, he offered the federal court system a soft two-week deadline to consider lifting a 2007 restraining order, lest he consider that order void and release records. He says he has loaded the records online with a 72-hour dead man’s switch, as he considers his next step.
Sibley told U.S. News in a Thursday interview that the Verizon subpoena response contains the purported bombshell. “In and of itself, it contains it, but there’s more to the story than just the response [and that additional information is in] the unknown 5,000,” he says. Toronto Black Lives Matter co-founder Yusra Khogali is under fire over a Tweet she posted and deleted asking “Allah” to stop her from having to kill white people.
“Plz Allah give me strength to not cuss/kill these men and white folks out here today. Plz plz plz,” Khogali tweeted on Feb. 9.
News of the controversial Tweet went international earlier in the week after @Newstalk1010 host Jerry Agar began Tweeting about the racist cyber screed.
Khogali has since placed her Twitter account under protected status and has refused to comment on the controversial Tweet. (Read more from “Black Lives Matter Co-Founder Asked ‘Allah’ to Help Her Not ‘Kill Men and White Folks'” HERE)
