Former Vice President Kamala Harris served up her signature “word salad” while attempting to deliver an inspirational speech to the cast of Broadway’s “A Wonderful World: The Louis Armstrong Musical” — with critics mocking the failed presidential candidate as the “drunk auntie.”

Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, were spotted taking in two Broadway productions over the weekend: “A Wonderful World” and later “Gypsy.”

After being greeted by hearty cheers from the crowd — and even a standing ovation — Harris delivered a rambling post-show speech to the cast and crew.

“When we think about these moments where we see things that are being taken, but also let’s see it, you know, nature abhors a vacuum,” Harris tells the musical’s cast in a clip shared on X.

“Where there’s a vacancy, let’s fill it. Let us know that the reality is that the progress of our nation has been about the expansion of rights, not the restriction of rights,” the former veep continues. Major U.S. Department Still Insists on COVID Vax Mandate

Despite the purported end-of-an-era for vaccine mandates, the COVID-19 shot requirement is still enforced at the Veterans Health Administration.

On May 9, 2023, former president Joe Biden issued Executive Order 14099 – “Moving Beyond COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements for Federal Workers.” His order revoked a previous executive order dated Sept. 9, 2021, which once required COVID-19 injections for federal employees.

However, months before Biden’s 2021 federal worker mandate, the Department of Veterans Affairs had already instituted its own COVID-19 vaccine requirement for frontline healthcare workers. On July 26, 2021, VA Secretary Denis McDonough announced that all Veterans Health Administration employees providing direct patient care – such as physicians, nurses and dentists – would be required to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. This was formalized in VHA Directive 1193 on Aug. 13, 2021, and made the VA the first federal agency to mandate COVID-19 vaccination. This mandate for healthcare workers operated independently from Biden’s later federal employee order.

Following the federal mandate, on Oct. 4, 2021, the Department of Veterans Affairs issued VA Notice 22-01 “to inform employees of the recent requirement to certify COVID-19 vaccination status and provide proof of vaccination or request an exception within the established timeframes or face disciplinary action, up to and including removal from the Department.”

Despite Biden’s 2023 rescission of the requirement, VA Notice 24-11 reveals the COVID-19 shot requirement “remains in effect” for the Veterans Health Administration, or VHA. (Read more from “Major U.S. Department Still Insists on COVID Vax Mandate” HERE)

Elon Musk ‘Cracked The Code’ For Defeating The ‘Deep State,’ Speaker Johnson Says

Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has “cracked the code” on how to break the “deep state” with the Trump administration’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), according to House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA).

Johnson told Mark Levin, host of “Life, Liberty, and Levin” on Fox News in an interview that aired Saturday night, that he met with Musk for an hour at the DOGE leader’s office in the Eisenhower Executive Office Building last week.

The speaker noted that Musk has been working out of the old Secretary of War Suite and “we laughed about how appropriate that is because he’s declared war on the deep state and the bureaucracy.”

Johnson added, “You have Democrats now out having rallies to stop him. What is he doing? He’s identifying and allowing us to cut out fraud, waste, and abuse. How could they be against that? It’s irrational. It’s going to work against them.”

Later in the interview, Levin got Johnson to agree that Democrats are being hypocritical for opposing Musk’s work to transform the government via DOGE after they embraced another wealthy billionaire, George Soros, who has influenced policy. Police Arrest Leader of ‘Ziz’ Transgender Murder-Suicide Cult

Three figures linked to multiple killings in several states, including the January shooting of a border patrol officer in Coventry, Vermont, were arrested Sunday evening in Allegany County, Maryland, according to county records.

Michelle Jacqueline Zajko, Daniel Arthur Blank, and Jack Amadeus LaSota — also known as “Ziz” — were arrested and charged with several misdemeanors after allegedly trespassing on private property in Frostburg, Maryland, according to court records.

The arrests put an end to speculation about the whereabouts of Zajko and LaSota, both of whom had been sought by law enforcement in connection with crimes in other states.

According to charging documents obtained by VTDigger, a Frostburg resident contacted Maryland state police around 3:30 p.m. Sunday to report two white box trucks with chains on their tires trespassing on his property.

The three people inside the trucks had asked if they could camp at the site for a month, according to the charging documents, but the landowner told police the people “appeared suspicious” and he wanted them off his property. DOD ‘Social Engineering’ Program Developed Bots Capable Of Psychological Warfare

The Department of Defense funded a “large scale social deception” program, according to public spending disclosures. The Federalist has uncovered documents showing how the federal government used “social engineering” programs to develop networks of fraudulent social media accounts capable of violating Americans’ rights to speech and privacy online — and, potentially, psychological warfare.

The DOD awarded more than $9.1 million for Thomson Reuters Special Services (TRSS) for “ACTIVE SOCIAL ENGINEERING DEFENSE… LARGE SCALE SOCIAL DECEPTION” starting in 2018, according to government funding disclosures. Of the total amount promised, the federal government reportedly paid — or “outlayed” — more than $268,000 for the project.

TRSS is a subsidiary of Thomson Reuters, which owns the leftist media outlet Reuters. According to the company’s website, it offers “scalable solutions to governments and global institutions,” and its leadership “leverages real-world experience in the US Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, law enforcement and the private sector.” The Air Force awarded the contract, and the DOD’s Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) — the military’s shady research branch — funded the work in “large scale social deception.”

A DARPA funding document shows the Air Force’s 711th Human Performance Wing, Human Effectiveness Division, enabled this project in 2018 — initially promising just $1 million before increasing the obligated amount to more than $9.1 million. The division, according to its website, is “composed of a diverse group of scientists and engineers studying developing technologies specific to the human element of warfighting.”

Many other contracts were part of the same project, dedicated to building a network of phony online accounts, which the government would supposedly use to defend against “social engineering” attacks. While this may seem harmless, the mechanics of the system leave it open for potential use against Americans. Survey: Homeschooled Adults Are More Religious And Less Anxious

Horror stories abound about the parents of Gen Z showing up to their adult children’s job interviews. It’s hard not to think there is no hope for the anxious generation who can’t talk to a potential employer without mom or dad. You may, however, have recently met a rare competent, put-together young adult who could make eye contact, give a firm handshake, and make pleasant conversation. Far from the stereotypes of yesteryear, chances are that well-adjusted young adult was homeschooled.

A recent report from the Cardus Educational Survey analyzed educational, economic, mental health, civic, family, and faith status for American adults who were homeschooled and found a range of outcomes within a diverse population. With homeschooling on the rise, the report highlights that people in a variety of demographics opt for homeschooling, either short-term or long-term. Because of the diversity of homeschoolers and their families, the results are not easily grouped into population-wide findings. Researchers did, however, observe trends among adults who had been homeschooled, which they lay out in the new report.

The study shows improved mental health outcomes among adults who were homeschooled compared to their peers who were never homeschooled. In an epidemic of mental health issues among teens and young adults, this is an important finding that warrants more investigation. While leftists continue fearmongering about the imagined dangers of homeschooling, the results show that homeschoolers are a success in some of the ways that matter most.

Breaking Down the Report

Cardus is a non-partisan, Christian research organization. The group’s survey from 2023 studied adults aged 24 to 39 who were homeschooled for part or all of their primary and secondary education. Within that population, researchers looked at short-term homeschoolers (defined as people who were homeschooled one to two years), medium-term homeschoolers (three to seven years), and long-term homeschoolers (eight or more years). Researchers compared outcomes for adults from all homeschool types with outcomes for adults who were never homeschooled, controlling for demographic characteristics.

Researchers found that adults who had been homeschooled (all three groups) were less likely than adults who had never been homeschooled to be employed full-time. While this may initially seem concerning, the report does not indicate whether some of the unemployed survey respondents are stay-at-home parents. Delta Airlines Plane Flips on Landing and a Badly Hurt Child Is Among 8 Casualties

A badly injured child is among eight people who were hurt Monday when a Delta Airlines plane flipped upon arrival at Toronto’s Pearson Airport.

The airport confirmed on X that an “incident” occurred with the Delta flight from Minneapolis and that all 80 passengers and crew are accounted for. One passenger is critically injured and seven others were also hurt, paramedics said.

Video from the scene shows the Mitsubishi CRJ-900LR upside down on the snowy tarmac as emergency workers hose it down. The plane was somewhat obscured by snow from a winter storm that hit Toronto over the weekend.

Mayor Eric Adams insisted Sunday he has no plans to step down despite a litany of legal troubles and repeated calls for him to throw in the towel — telling a church gathering he’s on a mission from God.

“I am going nowhere,” Hizzoner said during morning remarks at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Queens Village.

“I have a mission to finish, the mission that God put me on many years ago,” Adams said.

“I just find it so amazing — the most sanctified among us are calling for me to step down,” he said. “I’m not going to step down. I’m going to step up.

University Whose Students Invited Terrorist To Campus Also Enrolled Former Hamas Official

Georgetown University scrubbed online evidence it enrolled a former Hamas official and daughter of a terrorist leader after a watchdog group’s inquiry.

The Washington, D.C., school wiped the profile of graduate student Mapheze Saleh, who worked for Hamas’s foreign ministry, from its website when the pro-Israel group Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting and Analysis (CAMERA) contacted it about her terrorist ties, the group wrote Thursday. The revelation comes days after Georgetown began investigating anti-Israel students who alarmed the public by inviting a convicted terrorist to campus.

“Through her professional experiences, Mapheze has developed an expertise in regional and international relations with an emphasis on conflict resolution and security studies, and also solidified her commitment to public discourse and cross-cultural communication,” reads Georgetown’s deleted profile of Saleh. It acknowledges she has worked for “the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Gaza” controlled by the Hamas terrorist group that ignited war with Israel in October 2023 by slaughtering more than 1,100 people, raping women en masse and taking hostages.

Saleh has disclosed publicly that she is the daughter of “senior adviser to the Hamas Foreign Ministry” Ahmed Yousef, according to CAMERA’s report, which cited Arabic media translations and Saleh’s social media posts.
