Report: Trump Weighing Special Ops Raid to Secure Iran’s Enriched Uranium Stockpile

President Donald Trump is weighing options that could include deploying special operations forces into Iran to secure or destroy highly enriched uranium stockpiles as part of his pledge that Tehran “will not have a nuclear bomb,” according to multiple reports Saturday.

Speaking to reporters aboard Air Force One, Trump suggested the possibility of a ground operation had not been ruled out, saying U.S. forces could move in at a later stage of the conflict if necessary. “Right now we’re just decimating them, but we haven’t gone after it,” Trump said, referring to Iran’s nuclear material. “But something we could do later on. We wouldn’t do it now.”

Axios reported Saturday that U.S. and Israeli officials have discussed sending special operations forces into Iran to secure the regime’s stockpile of highly enriched uranium once Tehran’s military capabilities are sufficiently degraded.

The outlet reported that Iran possesses roughly 450 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60 percent, material that could potentially be converted to weapons-grade fuel within weeks.

According to the report, officials have debated whether the material would be physically removed from Iran or diluted on site by nuclear specialists working alongside special operations units, possibly including scientists from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Trump Administration Bans Foreign Nationals from More Small Business Loans

President Donald Trump’s Small Business Administration (SBA) is banning foreign nationals from securing federal dollars via more small business loan programs, the agency announced Monday.

“The Trump SBA is committed to driving economic growth and job creation for American citizens,” SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler said in a statement:

Last month, we made it clear that SBA would not allow foreign nationals to access our core small business loan programs – and today, we are expanding that policy to include all SBA-guaranteed loans.

In particular, foreign nationals will not be eligible for the agency’s Surety Bond program and Microloans, which offer loans of up to $50,000 for small businesses and not-for-profit childcare centers.

“With our lending authority capped annually by Congress and amid record demand for access to capital, our responsibility is clear: The limited resource of SBA financing must prioritize American citizens who are building businesses and creating jobs here at home,” Loeffler said. Trump says he and Israel’s Netanyahu will make ‘mutual’ decision on ending Iran war

President Trump revealed Monday that he will confer with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu about when to end the military campaign against Iran, suggesting the decision would be “mutual” between the US and its Middle Eastern ally.

“I think it’s mutual… a little bit,” Trump told The Times of Israel in a phone interview, adding that he and Netanyahu have “been talking.”

“I’ll make a decision at the right time, but everything’s going to be taken into account,” the president added.

Trump previously suggested that the war against Iran could last approximately four weeks, but other members of his administration have been reluctant to provide a specific timeline.

The president has also demanded “unconditional surrender” from Iran, and the White House has stressed that the objective of the Operation Epic Fury campaign is to degrade Iran’s navy and ballistic missile arsenal as well as ensure the regime does not obtain a nuclear weapon or continue to arm terrorist proxies across the Middle East. CIA faces furious backlash after hidden document with potential cure for cancer is declassified after 60 years

A newly surfaced CIA document suggests US intelligence once reviewed research that hinted at a possible cancer treatment more than 60 years ago.

The document, produced in February 1951 and declassified in 2014, summarizes a Soviet scientific paper that examined striking similarities between parasitic worms and cancerous tumors.

The report describes how researchers believed both organisms thrived under nearly identical metabolic conditions and accumulated large reserves of glycogen, a form of stored energy.

The research also highlighted experiments showing that certain chemical compounds were capable of targeting both parasitic infections and malignant tumors.

Although the document was declassified more than a decade ago, it has recently resurfaced online, fueling outrage among some Americans who say it raises troubling questions about why Cold War research hinting at possible cancer treatments sat in intelligence archives for decades.

US Argues ‘Emergency’ of Iran War Means Israel Needs 20,000+ More Bombs Without Congressional Approval

The US State Department is hiding behind the war against Iran that was started by US President Donald Trump last week to justify an emergency order to ship more than 20,000 bombs—estimated at a value of $660 million—to Israel, skirting a pending approval process for the sale by Congress.

In a statement issued quietly on Friday night, the State Department said 12,000 BLU-110A/B general purpose, 1,000-pound bombs had been determined for approval, noting that Secretary of State Marco Rubio has “provided detailed justification that an emergency exists that requires the immediate sale to the Government of Israel of the above defense articles and defense services is in the national security interests of the United States, thereby waiving the Congressional review requirements under Section 36(b) of the Arms Export Control Act.”

Not included in the statement, according to the New York Times, were additional parts of the sale that “include 10,000 bombs of 500 pounds each and 5,000 small-diameter bombs.”

According to the Times:

The State Department did not mention these details in the announcement, but two current US officials and a former, Josh Paul, who worked on weapons transfers at the State Department, said they were part of the emergency sale. The current officials spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss sensitive arms transactions.

This is the first time that the second Trump administration has formally declared an emergency, allowed under the Arms Export Control Act, to bypass Congress to sell arms to Israel. The administration has bypassed the informal approval process in Congress three times to sell arms or send weapons aid to Israel, but previously has not declared an emergency.

Trump Admin Reportedly ‘Dismayed’ With Israeli Barrage on Iranian Oil Depots: ‘First Significant Disagreement’

The “first significant disagreement” of the Iran war between the United States and Israel has developed over Israel’s strikes on 30 Iranian oil facilities, Axios reported Sunday.

Reporters Barak Ravid and Marc Caputo wrote that the strikes “went far beyond what the U.S. expected when Israel notified it in advance.”

The Axios report cited “a U.S. official, Israeli official and a source with knowledge.”

Late Saturday, Israel struck the oil facilities, “sending huge balls of fire and smoke into the air and rocking Tehran and the neighboring city of Karaj with explosions,” as evidenced by viral social media video “verified by The New York Times” in that outlet’s reporting.

Chabad-Affiliated Jewish Group Complains about Messianic Jewish Chaplains in U.S. Armed Forces

For more than a century, U.S. military chaplains have worn insignia identifying their faith — a cross for Christians and tablets with a Star of David for Jews. Now Jewish chaplaincy groups are asking the Pentagon to intervene after chaplains from Messianic Judaism, a Christian movement that blends Jewish practices with belief in Jesus, began wearing the Jewish symbol. . .

In a view shared by many Jews, Aleph [a Chabad-affiliated organization that endorses Jewish chaplains for the U.S. military] suspects that the Messianic movement is a facade — a deceitful tactic aimed at proselytization.

“They have engaged in heavily deceptive behavior, all for the purpose of trapping unsuspecting Jews into the belief that Jesus is part of Jewish theology,” Aleph’s letter [to the Armed Forces Chaplains Board] said. “Due to persecution, forced conversion, and extreme tactics employed by many Christian countries over the millennia proselytization of Jews is considered an antisemitic tactic” . . . 

Burling pointed to a San Diego rabbi, Yoram Dahan, as someone familiar with his Jewish learning and involvement in the community. But Dahan said that while Burling had studied Torah with him, he never understood Burling to be Jewish.

“[A Messianic Jewish chaplain] studied Torah with us and he was very serious about it. He loves Israel. But of course he is Christian,” [a San Diego rabbi] said. “If he says he is Jewish, it is not true and it’s not good. . . . Seventh U.S. Service Member Killed During Iran Conflict

A seventh U.S. service member has been killed following strikes against the Islamic Republic of Iran; no identity has been revealed.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed the passing Sunday in a post on X.

“Last night, a U.S. service member passed away from injuries received during the Iranian regime’s initial attacks across the Middle East. The service member was seriously wounded at the scene of an attack on U.S. troops in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on March 1,” the post said.

“This is the seventh service member killed in action during Operation Epic Fury. Major combat operations continue. The identity of the fallen warrior will be withheld until 24 hours after next of kin notification,” it added.

Conservatives Furious after Trump ‘Gives into Democrats’ on Divisive Culture War Issue

Like many other MAGA Republicans, President Donald Trump has often attacked Democrats for supporting transgender rights — claiming that their position is “transgender for everybody.” But in some Thursday, March 5 posts on his Truth Social platform, Trump appeared to be “softening” his tone somewhat. And he is drawing scathing criticism from some MAGA culture warriors because of it.

In a morning post, Trump wrote, in all caps, “NO TRANSGENDER MUTILATION SURGERY FOR CHILDREN, WITHOUT THE EXPRESS WRITTEN APPROVAL OF THE PARENTS.” But in a subsequent post, Trump wrote, “NO TRANSGENDER MUTILATION SURGERY FOR CHILDREN” and left out the “written approval” part.

On X, formerly Twitter, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Kentucky) pointed out the contrasts because those posts. . .

But other X users were much more biting in their response, including former Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) — who was once a major ally of Trump but is now an outspoken critic.

Greene tweeted, “‘Without the express written approval of the parents.’ Trump now supports trans gender mutilation surgeries of children if their parents want it!!!!! The House passed my bill Protect Children’s Innocence Act that makes it a felony to trans any child under 18 even if their parents are supporting or pushing it on their own children. My bill was a reflection of Trump’s own executive order banning child trans surgeries and so called gender affirming care. Now Trump is reversing his stance???!!! What is wrong with him???”
