Gay Couple Who Showed Off Picture-Perfect Family Get 100 Years in Prison for Horrific Rape of Adopted Sons

A gay Georgia couple convicted of sickening sexually abuse of their two adopted sons will spend the rest of the lives behind bars.

William and Zachary Zulock, 34 and 36, were each sentenced last week to 100 years in prison without the possibility of parole, the Walton County District Attorney’s office announced.

“These two Defendants truly created a house of horrors and put their extremely dark desires above everything and everyone else,” said District Attorney Randy McGinley, according to WSB-TV.

“However, the depth of the Defendants’ depravity, which is as deep as it gets, is not greater than the resolve of those that fought for justice and the strength of the victims in this case. The resolve I have seen from these two young victims over the last two years is truly inspiring,” he added.

The boys — two brothers who are now 12 and 10 years-old — were adopted from a Christian special-needs agency by the Zulocks. (Read more from “Gay Couple Who Showed Off Picture-Perfect Family Get 100 Years in Prison for Horrific Rape of Adopted Sons” HERE)

Critics Say Bystanders Stood by While Illegal Migrant Burned Woman to Death on NYC Subway

New Yorkers were up in arms Monday one day after an illegal Guatemalan immigrant allegedly burned a sleeping straphanger to death aboard a Brooklyn subway train — while bystanders did nothing.

Horrifying video footage of the incident shows at least three gawkers — one of them seen filming the shocking fatal blaze on his phone — and an NYPD cop standing outside the subway car as flames engulfed the unidentified victim after the Sunday morning attack.

“Nobody came to her aid,” said Guardian Angels founder and community activist Curtis Sliwa. “There’s no doubt that people don’t want to get involved. It’s the Daniel Penny factor. It’s frozen people. They’re saying to themselves: ‘I don’t want to get jammed up like Penny.

“People should have been running over to the woman on fire. They did nothing. They said nothing,” Sliwa said, calling the reluctance of bystanders to intervene “the Daniel Penny effect.”

Penny, a 26-year-old ex-Marine, was charged with murder last year for fatally choking vagrant Jordan Neely after Neely aggressively confronted frightened passengers on a Manhattan subway car. Report: New Photos Show Joe Biden Meeting Hunter’s Chinese Business Partners, Introducing Son To Xi

Then Vice President Joe Biden met his son Hunter’s foreign business partners during a 2013 overseas trip to China, newly released photographs show. The unearthed records also document Hunter meeting Chinese dictator Xi Jinping.

Obtained by America First Legal (AFL) via open records request, the photographs from the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) appear to show Hunter introducing his father to several Chinese members of BHR Partners, a Chinese investment firm with ties to the country’s Communist government.

As the New York Post previously reported, Hunter “cofounded BHR Partners in 2013 within weeks of joining then-Vice President Joe Biden aboard Air Force Two on an official trip to Beijing.” The First Son reportedly “held a 10% stake in BHR Partners at least through part of his father’s first year as president and the terms of his divestment remain murky,” according to the outlet.

The pictures obtained by AFL appear to show Joe meeting BHR Partners CEO Jonathan Li and Director and Managing Partner Ming Xue. The released records also show Hunter meeting Xi and then Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao.

Report: ‘Missing’ Republican Congresswoman Living in Texas Assisted Living Facility

Rep. Kay Granger (R-TX), who has missed votes for months, is reportedly in Texas at a $4,000-per-month assisted living facility.

The Dallas Express reported the 81-year-old, who represents Texas’s 12th congressional district, last voted in the House on July 24, and has not voted since.

As part of its investigation, the Express found that Granger’s D.C. office phones went directly to voicemail, found no sign her local Texas office was occupied, and ultimately discovered she is a resident at an assisted living facility:

We then received a tip from a Granger constituent who shared that the Congresswoman has been residing at a local memory care and assisted living home for some time after having been found wandering lost and confused in her former Cultural District/West 7th neighborhood.

The Dallas Express team visited the facility to confirm whether Granger was residing there and to inquire about how she planned to vote on the spending bill. Upon arrival, two employees confirmed that Granger is indeed living at the facility. However, we were not permitted to conduct an interview regarding the current spending debate in the House of Representatives and how or if Ms. Granger planned to vote.

Meet Some of the Violent Killers for Whom Biden Commuted Death Sentences

As one of his final acts as president, Joe Biden is commuting the death sentences of 37 of the federal government’s 40 death row inmates, giving them life sentences instead. These 37 men include some of the most violent killers in the United States.

In 2019, Brandon Council was sentenced to death for murdering 59-year-old Donna Major and 36-year-old Katie Skeen in 2017 during a South Carolina bank robbery.

Skeen’s mother, Betty Richardson Davis, told local media that Biden commuting Council’s sentence for murdering her daughter “is an injustice.” Major’s husband, Daniel Major, similarly blasted Biden for the move. . .

In 2005, Edward Leon Fields Jr. was sentenced to death for murdering 47-year-old Charles Glen Chick and his wife, 50-year-old Shirley Chick, while they were camping in the Winding Stair Mountains in Oklahoma.

After the double murder, Fields admitted to police that he shot and killed the Texas couple, stalking and scoping them out like prey. . .

In 1996, former New Orleans Police Department (NOPD) officer Len Davis was sentenced to death for ordering the murder of 32-year-old Kim Groves after she filed a civil rights complaint against him. (Read more from “Meet Some of the Violent Killers for Whom Biden Commuted Death Sentences” HERE)

Former President Bill Clinton Hospitalized With Fever

Former President Bill Clinton, 78, was admittted to Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington, D.C. on Monday after developing a fever.

Angel Ureña, the former president’s chief of staff, said Clinton “has been admitted to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital for testing and observation after developing a fever. The former president “remains in good spirits and deeply appreciates the excellent care he is receiving,” Ureña added.

The hospitalization was not an urgent matter. The president went to the hospital as a precautionary measure. One source told NBC News that “The former president will be fine. He developed a fever and wanted to be checked out. He is awake and alert.”

Clinton has faced several health challenges over the past two decades after leaving office. He underwent a quadruple bypass surgery in 2004 and the placement of two coronary stents in 2010.

In 2021, Clinton was admited to the University of California Irvine Medical Center’s intensive care unit after he contracted a urinary tract infection. (Read more from “Former President Bill Clinton Hospitalized With Fever” HERE)

New Data Shows Dems Are in Serious Trouble

The Democratic Party is a mess. The spending bill circus wasn’t the prettiest of spectacles, but don’t let that sideshow distract you from the wider mayhem engulfing the Left. They’re in for more pain if they don’t course correct, and given how some top officials have reacted to their 2024 loss—they’re not keen on changing their ways for the future. No, this doesn’t mean the GOP is the beneficiary of the permanent political majority, a term I loathe. Still, it does mean Republicans could be in for two, maybe three, good election cycles since normal voters are tired of liberal America’s condescension and elitism.

Progressive research groups cannot sweep this under the rug: most voters view Democrats as being the punchable faces of American politics. That’s because they are. Our friends at Twitchy had this first, but the advantages the Left once had in elections have evaporated completely. As pollster Tony Fabrizio told us, We also learned that the most effective ad against Kamala Harris was this cycle. In short, any ad where she was talking was useful in chipping away at the VP’s presidential hopes:

More on the data issues Democrats face—they have a tough rough ahead (via Politico):

Democrats conducting post-mortems on their sweeping losses in 2024 are finding more reason for alarm. And the problem isn’t just Kamala Harris or Joe Biden.

In a trio of focus groups, even voters who previously backed Democrats cast the party as weak and overly focused on diversity and elites, according to research by the progressive group Navigator Research.

When asked to compare the Democratic Party to an animal, one participant compared the party to an ostrich because “they’ve got their heads in the sand and are absolutely committed to their own ideas, even when they’re failing.” Another likened them to koalas, who “are complacent and lazy about getting policy wins that we really need.” Democrats, another said, are “not a friend of the working class anymore.”

WATCH: Biden Has Already Pardoned 1,500 People, but This One Is Jaw-Dropping

Outgoing U.S. President Joe Biden still has another four weeks until he leaves office, but he has pardoned or commuted sentences for some 1,500 people. There are sweepstakes for what the total number of will be, but there is one person – not even an American citizen for whom the Democrat’s largesse and clemency might fundamentally change a country.

The move came following the first U.S. diplomatic visit to Syria since 2012. Barbara Leaf, assistant secretary of state for Near Eastern affairs, told reporters she had informed Ahmed Hussein al-Sharaa, whose nom de guerre is Abu Mohammad al-Julani, and who is leader of the Islamist Hayat Tahrir al-Sham or HTS group which led Assad’s overthrow, the United States would not pursue a $10 million terrorism bounty on him for his role as the head of a U.S.-designated foreign terrorist group, reported the Jewish News Syndicate.

Seth Frantzman, Adjunct Fellow at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies, who is a seasoned watcher of things Syrian and covered parts of the civil war on the ground said “once al-Julani took over Damascus and the Assad regime was gone, he was no longer just the head of some militant group. Furthermore, he has made himself very publicly available and he has had meetings with both Turkish and EU diplomats.

To keep the bounty would be impractical and it has outlasted its usefulness. Ultimately, it looks like the U.S. would like to give him and his organization a chance to moderate, and engage with the West. It is an incentive either to him personally or HTS in general to not be what he or they used to be, which is known as an off-shoot of al-Qaida.”

Lt. Col. (res.) Sarit Zehavi, who is the founder and president of the Alma Research and Education Center told WorldNetDaily al-Julani’s rehabilitation as an accepted statesman and de facto Syrian leader was “a bad lesson for terrorists to learn. It shows them that if they want to be seen as legitimate all they have to do is take over a state and suddenly the terrorist designation is canceled.” (Read more from “WATCH: Biden Has Already Pardoned 1,500 People, but This One Is Jaw-Dropping” HERE)

Education Department Cancels Loan Cancellation Scheme

The U.S. Department of Education announced today that it will be withdrawing both parts of its Plan C for student loan cancellation. One part involves various ways the department would have declared that a borrower has a “hardship” deserving of complete loan cancellation. The other part would have identified additional categories for waivers of loan repayments, such as when the borrower’s loan balance is larger than the original loan (which is, in fact, a normal situation for many borrowers who get their loan payments deferred for various reasons). Both are being withdrawn via a scheduled notice in the Federal Register on Dec. 26.

Withdrawing the hardship rule was what my Heritage Foundation colleague Madison Marino and I advised in our regulatory comment on the proposed rule. We argued that the department should confess its pretextual rulemaking—conveniently finding “authority” to cancel as much debt as quickly as possible—and that this newly discovered authority violated what is called the Major Questions Doctrine, which presumes that Congress doesn’t delegate to agencies issues of major political or economic significance.

We noted several additional problems in the proposed hardship rule, such as a completely unknown cost to the government and, therefore, to the taxpayers. That’s because other student loan schemes of the department, especially the SAVE plan (which changes the parameters of income-based repayment plans), have been enjoined by courts—they can’t be enforced—so it’s very hard to determine how many borrowers would be affected by eligibility for one scheme or the other. Trump Shuts Down Notion of Musk Usurping Him: ‘He’s Not Taking the Presidency’

President-elect Donald Trump dismissed claims that he is ceding the presidency to Elon Musk during a wide-ranging speech celebrating his election victory and sharing his plans for his second term.

Trump spoke at Turning Point USA’s AmFest in Phoenix, Arizona, in his first rally-style speech since the election. During an address that lasted over an hour, Trump discussed many topics, including his work with Musk on the Department of Government Efficiency. At one point, the president-elect referred to claims from the left that he had ceded the presidency to Musk in large part due to the billionaire Tesla CEO leading the opposition to a proposed continuing resolution.

“He’s not taking the presidency,” Trump told the crowd on Sunday. “I like having smart people. You know, they’re on a new kick. Russia, Russia, Russia, Ukraine, Ukraine, Ukraine, all the different hoaxes. And the new one is ‘President Trump has ceded the presidency to Elon Musk.’ No, no, that’s not happening, but Elon has done an amazing job. Isn’t it nice to have smart people that we could rely on?”

Trump then praised Musk’s work with Starlink and SpaceX before joking that he does not have to worry about the South African-born billionaire becoming president. (Read more from “Trump Shuts Down Notion of Musk Usurping Him: ‘He’s Not Taking the Presidency’” HERE)
