‘Not A Leader’: Trump’s Surgeon General Pick Has Uphill Climb To Earning Trust Of MAGA Voters

Trump supporters bashed his Friday selection of Dr. Janette Nesheiwat for United States Surgeon General, citing her past positions on Covid-19, though some praised her apparent evolution on the subject.

Trump announced the pick Friday, calling Nesheiwat, a medical doctor and former Fox News contributor, “a strong communicator for preventive medicine and public health.”

While the President-elect showered praise on Dr. Nesheiwat, some of his biggest supporters decried her selection and demanded that he reconsider.

Nesheiwat’s praise for Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s decision to censor certain Covid information on Facebook seemingly irked popular right-wing social media figures like former One America News Network anchor Liz Wheeler and influential meme account “I Meme Therefore I Am”

“First of all, vaccines save lives and I am so excited and I thank and I commend Facebook and Mark Zuckerberg for taking action because this affects everyone,” Nesheiwat said during an appearance on Fox Business Network.

Transgender Athlete Steals Yet More Glory From Women

. . .Tuesday saw the Mountain West Conference announce their volleyball awards for the regular season, and transgender player Blaire Fleming (San Jose State) was right in the mix stealing yet more glory from women.

Fleming was named to the conference’s All-Mountain West Team as an Honorable Mention, joining Spartans co-captain Brooke Slusser. Malaya Jones of Colorado State, who won the Mountain West Player of the Year, was also named an honoree.

The only two members of SJSU that received conference honors were Fleming and Slusser, most likely because they just played 12 matches on the conference schedule in the 2024 season — the other six matches they “won” due to the other teams forfeiting because they didn’t want to play against a transgender person. Fair enough.

In the Mountain West tournament, San Jose State has a bye in the first round that automatically places them in the semifinals, with their first match coming Wednesday against the winner of Utah State vs. Boise State.

What’s interesting about SJSU‘s future matchup is that both the Aggies and Broncos forfeited their squareoffs against the Spartans in the regular season. It’s not currently known whether or not the schools would forfeit again if they claim victory in their first rounder, but it’s something to pay attention to, for sure.

Popular Thanksgiving Staple in U.S. Banned in European Countries

A popular Thanksgiving dinner staple in the United States is banned in several European countries and Japan due to two ingredients being linked to cancer.

Stove Top Stuffing, an instant boxed stuffing mix that is popular to have with Thanksgiving dinner, contains two ingredients, butylated hydroxyanisole (BHA) and butylated hydroxytoluene (BHT), that are “known human carcinogens and may cause other health problems,” Dr. Neha Pathak, MD, who serves on the Medical Team for WebMD explained to the New York Post.

While BHA and BHT are allowed in the U.S., they are banned in the United Kingdom, the European Union, and Japan. Pathak explained that “these types of preservatives” are banned due to the “cancer risk.”

The ingredient list for the Stove Top Stuffing turkey version shows that, along with BHA and BHT, the product contains “enriched wheat flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate [vitamin b1], riboflavin [vitamin b2], folic acid), high fructose corn syrup, salt, onion” along with other ingredients:

Enrich wheat flour (wheat flour, niacin, reduced iron, thiamin mononitrate [vitamin b1], riboflavin [vitamin b2], folic acid), high fructose corn syrup, salt, onion*, contains less than 2% of hydrolyzed soy protein, cooked turkey*, yeast, interesterified soybean oil, celery*, parsley*, potassium chloride, spice, sugar, caramel color, maltodextrin, turkey broth*, disodium guanylate, disodium inosinate, silicon dioxide, natural flavor, with bha, bht, and rosemary extract as preservatives,”

Biden Administration Spent Nearly $400,000 Interviewing Transgender People in India

President Joe Biden’s Department of Health and Human Services spent six figures paying Drexel University researchers to interview transgender people in India, according to federal records.

Between March 2021 and February 2024, HHS paid out $389,087 to a team of academics at Drexel to perform “quantitative” interviews with 30 transgender men across Delhi and Mumbai, India’s two largest cities. Additionally, the Biden administration provided the researchers with federal funding to distribute online surveys to 300 transgender men living in those cities. The ultimate goals of the publicly-funded research project were to “inform the development and evaluation of an intervention to promote mental health” for transgender people in India and to “impact rapidly evolving transgender health and social policies in India and beyond.”

Specifically, the study investigated the prevalence of mental health conditions, such as anxiety and suicidality, among transgender people in India. It sought to understand what variables were contributing to the occurrence of those conditions. The framework used by the team of Drexel researchers aimed to “put the gender back into transgender health,” according to the grant’s description.

The researchers argued that their work is necessary because the “transgender community is experiencing major socio-legal changes that may affect mental health” in India. One of the policy recommendations made in the final report produced by the team of researchers was to implement public funding for “gender-affirmative healthcare,” including hormone therapy and sex change surgeries.

HHS has positioned itself as a champion of the transgender community under Biden, adopting a new rule in April requiring physicians and healthcare personnel to provide transgender healthcare to patients, including minors. Critics have argued that the rule doesn’t grant sufficient exceptions for healthcare providers who have religious reasons to refuse to practice transgender medical interventions. Lawmaker Floats Idea of State Seceding to Resist President-Elect Trump

A plan for states to secede from the union of United States because they disagree politically with the majority is something that’s been tried before.

Unsuccessfully, as the horrendous death tolls of the Civil War and its after-war punishments, like “carpet-baggers,” document.

But Democrats in New York apparently believe it would produce a better result this time.

That’s because they are considering a plan to become, along with several nearby states, a province of Canada over President-elect Donald Trump’s coming administration.

It is the Washington Examiner that has reported that the rage from leftists is over Trump’s plans to address the catastrophic results of the Joe Biden-Kamala Harris open borders agenda. . .

The report said it is New York state Sen. Liz Krueger, a Democrat from New York City, who proposed withholding taxes from the federal government, or leaving entirely. (Read more from “Lawmaker Floats Idea of State Seceding to Resist President-Elect Trump” HERE)

‘Demonic!’ Tulsa City Council Meeting Goes off Rails as Member Told She’s ‘Inviting Evil’

A city council meeting in Tulsa, Oklahoma this week went off the rails after an outgoing city councilor invited a pagan priestess to deliver a prayer at a meeting.

Public Radio Tulsa reports that outgoing councilor Crista Patrick stirred controversy when she brought pagan priestess Amy McAdams to deliver an opening invocation at the meeting that included nods to “the Gorgonea, champions of equality and sacred rage” and “Medusa, monstrous hero of the oppressed and abused.”

In an interview with Public Radio Tulsa, Patrick said that she “wanted to share one little part of myself before I left office” and emphasized that the Greek goddess Medusa is traditionally known as “a fighter of injustice, especially for women.”

However, her decision to invite McAdams drew swift condemnation not only from angry locals who accused her of being “demonic, or Satanist, or inviting evil into our city and our household,” but also from Oklahoma’s Republican governor and state superintendent.

“Satan is trying to establish a foothold, but Oklahoma is going to be a shining city on the hill,” declared Gov. Kevin Stitt. “Tulsa City Council needs to stand strong against actions like this, and Tulsans need to remember who allowed this at the ballot box.” (Read more from “‘Demonic!’ Tulsa City Council Meeting Goes off Rails as Member Told She’s ‘Inviting Evil’” HERE)

Donald Trump and Elon Musk Face Backlash for Spending Time With Caitlyn Jenner

Donald Trump recently posed for a photo alongside his granddaughter, Kai, staunch MAGA supporter Caitlyn Jenner and new pal Elon Musk at his Mar-a-Lago resort.

However, the president-elect and the tech mogul were slammed by critics on X, formerly known as Twitter, due to anti-trans views they’ve shared throughout the 2024 presidential election campaign.

One X user wrote, “HMM, IS CAITLYN JENNER BANNED FROM USING THE WOMEN’S BATHROOM AT MAR-A-LAGO?” and a second person added, “I wonder if Caitlyn, Elon and Donald all used the bathroom together…shocked that the MAGA cult isn’t melting down about this.” . . .

Some critics also pointed out Musk’s estranged relationship from his own transgender child, Vivian.

“So Elon can put his arm around Caitlyn Jenner, but he’s rejected his own daughter for being transgender? Please make it make sense,” another X user replied. (Read more from “Donald Trump and Elon Musk Face Backlash for Spending Time With Caitlyn Jenner” HERE)

Trump May Kick Establishment Media Out of White House Briefing Room

President-elect Donald Trump is considering rearranging White House press briefings in a move that could leave establishment media outlets out to dry.

Instead of hostile legacy media outlets, Trump could seat new media hosts such as Megyn Kelly or Joe Rogan.

Donald Trump Jr. revealed the plan Monday on his podcast, Triggered with Donald Trump Jr., with Michael Knowles.

Knowles inquired if “Karoline Leavitt is looking at the new press briefing room chart, [if] maybe it’s time to reorder that chart and maybe take away some people’s seats.”

Trump Jr. responded, “We’re gonna break some news here,” continuing, “I literally had this conversation with — I was flying back, I was on the plane with my father, I think it was coming back from the SpaceX launch with Elon [Musk] last week. And we were talking about the podcast world and some of our friends and Rogan and guys like you.” (Read more from “Trump May Kick Establishment Media Out of White House Briefing Room” HERE)

WATCH: Chiefs Star Saves Young Fan From Terrifying Fall

Kansas City Chiefs defensive tackle Tershawn Wharton was in the right place at the right time when he saved a young fan from falling head first out of the stands after the game on Sunday as the team was headed to the locker room in Carolina.

In a video that surfaced on X, we see the back of a young fan’s jersey as he’s leaning up against the railing, yelling Wharton’s name before the little guy’s feet slip out from under him and he flips right out of the stands headed to the ground head first.

With security standing by, Wharton sees the fan falling and reaches out to grab the kid before the child falls to the ground and ends up in the hospital or worse. The next shot is Wharton giving the child a boost back up into the stands.

On Tuesday, Wharton appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” and said that it was just “natural reaction” when he saved the kid from falling.

“Usually when I leave the game, I try to throw my glove into the crowd,” Wharton said. “And I think I heard my name a little bit and I see him coming down. It was two security guards right there.” (Read more from “WATCH: Chiefs Star Saves Young Fan From Terrifying Fall” HERE)

‘No Idea Who Voted’: GA County Official Says She Was Forced to Certify Election Without Crucial Docs

On Nov. 12, the Fulton County Board of Registration and Election (FCBRE) certified the results of the 2024 election. Except no one knows with certainty if the results were actually accurate because crucial data was withheld, according to a member of the board.

President-elect Donald Trump won the Peach State but lost Fulton County to Vice President Kamala Harris by 240,097 votes. The results were then certified on Nov. 12, but board members, who are considered the superintendents of elections, weren’t given access to all the requested election-related documentation, FCBRE member Julie Adams told The Federalist.

“I, along with all my board members, did not receive the Numbered List of Electors (the actual names along with their voter register numbers, by precinct and by the method in which they voted) or a list of the number of votes cast, by precinct or by vote method,” Adams said. “So, I have no idea who voted and the votes cast.”

The Numbered List of Electors and the Cast Votes Records, which shows the number of votes cast by precinct and vote method, is required for board members, like Adams, to ensure that there were not more votes cast than voters who voted. It’s a basic process known as reconciliation that happens before certification.

Nonetheless, Adams, along with the other board members, were forced to certify the results of the election. Fulton County Superior Judge Robert McBurney ruled in October that election superintendents may not “refuse to certify or abstain from certifying election results under any circumstance” even if there is a “non-sensical result.” (Read more from “‘No Idea Who Voted’: GA County Official Says She Was Forced to Certify Election Without Crucial Docs” HERE)
