‘People Violate Laws Any Time They Want’: Dem Election Officials State Willingness To Defy Law Ahead Of Recount

Pennsylvania Democrats are openly defying a judge’s orders ahead of a recount in the state’s senate race in what appears to be a last-ditch effort to deliver victory to incumbent Senator Bob Casey.

Casey has yet to concede to Republican Dave McCormick, who was winning by more than 26,000 votes as of Thursday, with 99% of the vote counted. The Pennsylvania Supreme Court blocked an effort to count mail-in ballots with incorrect or missing dates on the outer envelopes. But that hasn’t stopped Democrats in the Bucks County Office of Commissioners from pushing for exactly that.

On Thursday, Gene DiGirolamo, the sole Republican on the three-person panel, introduced a motion to reject the attempt to count what the GOP called “noncompliant” ballots. In response, Democrat Diane Marseglia, the chair of the commission, dismissed the proposal out of hand.

“Not going to second that, mostly because I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter in this country and people violate laws any time they want,” she said. “So for me, if I violate this law it’s because I want the court to pay attention to it.” (Read more from “‘People Violate Laws Any Time They Want’: Dem Election Officials State Willingness To Defy Law Ahead Of Recount” HERE)

Hegseth Fires Back At ‘Anti-Christian’ Report From Associated Press

Pete Hegseth, President-elect Donald Trump’s nominee for Secretary of Defense, fired back at a hit piece in the Associated Press that attacked him for a religious tattoo he has.

The report said that Hegseth, an Army National Guard veteran, was flagged as a possible “Insider Threat” by a fellow service member because of the tattoo, which they claimed was linked to white supremacy.

Retired Master Sgt. DeRicko Gaither told the AP that he received an email from a former National Guard member that included a photo of Hegseth’s tattoos.

The report said:

Gaither told AP he researched the tattoos — including one of a Jerusalem Cross and the context of the words “Deus Vult,” Latin for “God wills it,” on his bicep — and determined they had sufficient connection to extremist groups to elevate the email to his commanding officers.

Alex Marlow: The Deep State Fears RFK Jr. Because ‘He Represents a Full Reset’

On “The Alex Marlow Show” on Friday, Breitbart Editor-in-Chief and host Alex Marlow praised the nomination of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lead HHS.

Marlow stated, “The issue is the public health officials, the people who are tasked with communicating with the American people about what is really going on in the health industry, what are trends with ourselves, and what should government policy be to try to help us out. They’ve done a terrible job setting that policy and a worse job articulating it and he represents a full reset. He’s going to be able to look under the hood and to be able to see where all the problems are happening.”

RFK Jr. Has Landed a Nomination in the Trump Administration

By New York Post. President-elect Donald Trump will reportedly nominate campaign surrogate and former Democrat Robert Kennedy Jr. as Health and Human Services Secretary.

“I am thrilled to announce Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as The United States Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS). For too long, Americans have been crushed by the industrial food complex and drug companies who have engaged in deception, misinformation, and disinformation when it comes to Public Health. The Safety and Health of all Americans is the most important role of any Administration, and HHS will play a big role in helping ensure that everybody will be protected from harmful chemicals, pollutants, pesticides, pharmaceutical products, and food additives that have contributed to the overwhelming Health Crisis in this Country,” Trump released in a statement Thursday. “Mr. Kennedy will restore these Agencies to the traditions of Gold Standard Scientific Research, and beacons of Transparency, to end the Chronic Disease epidemic, and to Make America Great and Healthy Again!”

Donald Trump Jr. also confirmed the news on X.

Putting RFK Jr. In Charge of Health Breaks the First Rule of Medicine

By New York Post. . .The overriding rule of medicine is: First, do no harm.

We’re certain installing Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to head Health and Human Services breaks this rule.

Maybe he’s sworn to focus narrowly on areas where he clearly can help — inspiring Americans to embrace healthier diets and more exercise, etc.

But . . .

We sat down with RFK Jr. back in May 2023, when he was still challenging President Biden for the Democratic nomination. . .

When it came to that topic his views were a head-scratching spaghetti of what we can only call warped conspiracy theories, and not just on vaccines. (Read more from “Putting RFK Jr. In Charge of Health Breaks the First Rule of Medicine” HERE)

Disturbing Charge: Woman Told Ethics Panel That Matt Gaetz Had Sex With Her When She Was 17 — As Bipartisan Calls Grow To Release House Report

The key figure in a Justice Department investigation into sex trafficking allegations involving Matt Gaetz told the House Ethics Committee that the former congressman had sex with her when she was 17 years old, according to a report.

The woman, who is now in her 20s, was subpoenaed by the ethics panel over the summer and testified that Gaetz had sex with her when she was a minor and still in high school, ABC News reported on Thursday. . .

“These allegations are invented and would constitute false testimony to Congress,” Gaetz said in a statement provided to The Post. “This false smear following a three-year criminal investigation should be viewed with great skepticism.”

The DOJ informed Gaetz last year that it would not bring charges against him related to the probe, but the House Ethics Committee has been running a separate investigation into the former congressman, who abruptly resigned from Congress Wednesday after being nominated by President-elect Donald Trump to serve as attorney general.

The ethics committee was reportedly set to vote Friday on whether to release its findings in the Gaetz probe, according to Punchbowl News. Riley Gaines Repeatedly Tears Into AOC for Taking Pronouns Out of X Bio After Advocating for Trans Athletes

Riley Gaines didn’t let Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., off the hook for not using the right pronouns anymore.

The congresswoman was the subject of trending conversation on social media on Thursday when X users discovered that she no longer includes her pronouns “she/her” in her bio.

Gaines, a former NCAA swimmer and OutKick contributor, got in on the mockery of Ocasio-Cortez on X with multiple posts.

“They’ll pretend they never embraced (or even celebrated) the insanity. Don’t forget who the compliant, virtue-signaling sheep were,” Gaines wrote in response to a post that claimed Ocasio-Cortez took the pronouns out of her bio before May of this year.

Gaines later responded to a video that showed Ocasio-Cortez previously apologizing for not including pronouns in her bio next to a photo that showed they were no longer there. January 6 Defendant William Pope Wins Hard-Fought Trial Delay as Presidential Pardons Loom

After a pitched battle between federal prosecutors and Jan. 6 defendant William Pope, U.S. District Judge Rudolph Contreras has agreed to delay Pope’s trial, saying it could be a waste of resources given the possible issuance of pardons by President-elect Donald J. Trump.

Pope, 38, of Topeka, Kansas, was scheduled to begin trial in Washington, D.C., Dec. 2 on five criminal charges, including a felony civil disorder count and four misdemeanors.

“I’m relieved that my four-year battle with the government is almost over,” Pope told Blaze News. “I’m going to win.”

Contreras adopted Pope’s reasoning from a Nov. 13 filing that said a long trial would be a waste of court resources given the post-election realities in Washington, D.C.

“Unfortunately, the prosecutor’s facial expressions won’t make it into the court transcript,” Pope wrote on X after the court’s ruling.

‘People Violate Laws Anytime They Want’: PA County Dems Defy State Law to Count Hundreds of Illegal Votes

Democrats on the Bucks County Board of Commissioners voted to illegally count misdated and undated ballots in an attempt to swing Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate election in favor of ousted Democrat incumbent Sen. Bob Casey, D-Penn.

The vote comes after the Pennsylvania Supreme Court already ruled those ballots were not allowed to be counted, per state law.

Diane Ellis-Marseglia, one of the Democrats, admitted she knew it was against the law, but voted to count the ballots anyway.

“I think we all know that precedent by a court doesn’t matter anymore in this country. And people violate laws anytime they want,” she said. “For me if I violate this law, it’s because I want a court to pay attention to it.”

Democrat Bob Harvie also voted in favor. Neither Marseglia nor Harvie responded to a request for comment from The Federalist. Republican Gene DiGirolamo voted against counting the ballots. We Need To Have A National Conversation About ‘Toxic Femininity’

We’ve spent several years now talking about “toxic masculinity,” though I’m not sure what exactly it means. It’s a great example of what Andrew Hofer calls “Trojan terminology” — think “white supremacy,” “settler colonialism,” “anti-racism” etc. These are all phrases where Hofer notes there’s “a larger debate we need to have about the use of neologisms to sneak in all sorts of extra baggage that people disagree about.”

In the case of toxic masculinity, the vast majority of violence has always been committed by men. We can be honest about that and take reasonable steps to address male violence and misogyny. However, the rise of internet culture, and whatever else our woke montagnards are currently banging on about, doesn’t mean a problem inherent to the human condition has suddenly become uniquely “toxic.” By any historical standard, life for women in the West is the best it’s ever been. Not that reality stopped Democrats spending a tens of millions of dollars on ads implying hoards of abusive husbands are threatening their wives if they vote for Kamala Harris.

But by successfully branding men as toxic, no one hesitates anymore before disparaging men, whereas huge swaths of Americans are loathe to criticize feminism or make generalizations about women. Even when we can say that feminism has become, very literally, toxic.

Last week saw the rise of a TikTok trend that went by the moniker of “Make Aqua Tofana Great Again.” For those of you that are not feminist history nerds, Aqua Tofana was a deadly cocktail of arsenic and belladonna that was sold and marketed to women in 17th century Italy, who used it to off hundreds of men that were allegedly abusive or otherwise problematic. Anyway, the first video on this got 1.3 million likes and MATGA was off to the races.

Obviously, a lot of people weren’t taking the election results well, but this is something altogether different. I have a feeling if there was a major social media trend where men were plotting to off women en masse for voting for Kamala Harris, we’d be on the receiving end of a another media jeremiad about online radicalization and the need to censor social media. Instead, I’m not sure a single major media outlet even picked up on the Aqua Tofana insanity, let alone the less subtle vitriol. Here’s a video about shooting random white men from a woman whose only coherent motivation seems to be that she can’t regulate her emotions.
