Musk Threatens to Sue ADL After Blaming It for X Ad Sales Slump

Elon Musk threatened to sue the Anti-Defamation League on Monday after blaming the nonprofit for an advertising revenue slump on X since he led a takeover of the platform formerly known as Twitter.

Driving the news: Musk accused the ADL in a post on X of “trying to kill this platform by falsely accusing it & me of being anti-Semitic” after the nonprofit reported a spike in hate speech on the platform following the reinstatement of banned accounts there.

The billionaire said that U.S. advertising revenue “is still down 60%, primarily due to pressure on advertisers by @ADL (that’s what advertisers tell us), so they almost succeeded in killing X/Twitter!”

“Unjust & Reprehensible” Federal Government Sentences Iraq War Vet J6 Protester to 1 Year Less Than Islamic Terrorist Who Plotted to Murder Americans

Here’s a story that largely went unnoticed for years but deserves attention. In 2020, a 31-year-old Muslim immigrant doctor [Pakistani Muhammad Masood] was arrested by the FBI for plotting to become a “lone wolf” terrorist aligned with ISIS. This doctor, who entered the United States on an H-1B visa, used encrypted messaging to communicate with overseas terrorists. Initially, he had plans to rendezvous in Syria, but that was thwarted due to COVID. Later on, he arranged to meet with terrorist operatives within the U.S., which led to his arrest by the FBI.

Remarkably, this individual once held a position at the prestigious Mayo Clinic. He has recently been sentenced to 18 years in prison for his actions. . .

[This] brings to mind Joe Biggs. Biggs, an Iraq War veteran and recipient of two Purple Hearts, was sentenced to 17-years in prison for the “terrorist” act of cutting a fence at the Capitol on January 6th. Biggs will serve one year less than a foreign-born Muslim convicted of plotting to join ISIS and kill innocent Americans. It’s mind-blowing how our government treats a non-violent US war vet the same as a guy plotting to team up with ISIS and murder innocent Americans. It’s truly unjust and reprehensible what our government has become. Another Poll Shows Grim Numbers for Biden on Age Question

A large majority of voters say President Joe Biden is too old to run for another term in the White House, according to a new poll.

The Wall Street Journal published the findings of a survey on Monday that found 73% of voters viewed Biden, 80, as being too old to run for president. Two-thirds of Democrats espoused this view, closely aligning with the findings of a recent Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll.

Voters faced the same question regarding 77-year-old former President Donald Trump, who is also running a campaign for a second term as the GOP frontrunner. Forty-seven percent of voters said Trump is too old.

“Voters are looking for change, and neither of the leading candidates is the change that they’re looking for,” insisted Democratic pollster Michael Bocian, who conducted the survey with Republican colleague Tony Fabrizio, who does surveys for a super PAC that supports Trump’s candidacy. Half of Vaccinated People Never Stop Producing Spike Protein, Study Found

Remember how we were told that “the vaccine stays in the arm” and that “harmless spike protein is only produced for a couple of days.” They said they were sure of that, despite no data to confirm their statements.

Well, sadly, it turns out that they lied to us. The data is now in, and it proves such claims wrong!

A clever scientific study by Brogna et al., just published, detected the presence of spike protein in COVID-vaccinated people six MONTHS after vaccination – and excluded the possibility of cross-contamination of experimental data with wild-circulating COVID infections.

The study’s authors used a sensitive test, called mass-spectrometry to detect a specific amino-acid sequence that exists only in the vaccine-induced spike protein.

To remind my readers, mRNA COVID vaccines contain genetic code to produce the so-called “spike protein,” a component of the SARS-CoV-2 virus that allows the virus to penetrate and infect human cells. During the penetration process, called “fusion,” the viral spike protein changes shape, becoming a spear of sorts, penetrating the cell surface. Texas Prepares for Historic Impeachment Trial Against Attorney General Ken Paxton

The Texas Senate will convene Tuesday for a historic impeachment trial against state Attorney General Ken Paxton (R), who is accused of accepting bribes and abusing his office.

Paxton became the third official in state history to be impeached when the House approved 20 articles of impeachment in May. The last time a statewide official was convicted on articles of impeachment happened in 1917, with former Gov. James Ferguson (D).

Paxton’s impeachment has split the Texas Republican Party, as evidenced by the 60 Republican state representatives who joined the 61 Democrats to approve the impeachment articles by a 121-23 vote.

The Texas House approved 20 articles of impeachment, but the Senate will only consider 16 for now after voting to delay consideration of the other four. The articles of impeachment against Paxton include numerous allegations, such as accepting bribes and abusing his office. Top Democrats Back ‘Dangerous’ Legal Theory to Block Americans From Voting for Trump

Two top Democrats backed on Sunday the theory that former President Donald Trump could be disqualified from running under the 14th Amendment, Axios reported.

Democratic Representatives Adam Schiff of California and Tim Kaine of Virginia backed the idea that Trump could be blocked from the 2024 ballot under Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which maintains that anyone who “engaged in insurrection” cannot hold elected office, according to Axios. Free Speech For People, a Democratic-aligned group, also sent letters to secretaries of state in key 2024 states last week claiming Trump should be removed from the ballot.

Shiff said Sunday on MSNBC’s “Inside with Jen Psaki” that the disqualification “fits Donald Trump to a T.”

“If you engage in acts of insurrection or rebellion against the government, or you give aid and comfort to those who do, you are disqualified from running,” Schiff said. “It doesn’t require that you be convicted of insurrection. It just requires that you have engaged in these acts.”

Grocery Store Removes Brand Names From Shelves to Prevent Theft

A Giant grocery store in Southeast Washington, DC, has removed name brands like Advil, Colgate, and Tide from its shelves to better prevent a spike in theft.

Beyond the removal of brands, shoppers at Giant will also be required to show their receipts to security guards before exiting the store. Ira Kress, president of the chain, told the Washington Post that the store can no longer serve the community by keeping its stores at high risk.

“We want to continue to be able to serve the community, but we can’t do so at the level of significant loss or risk to our associates that we have today,” Kress said.

“I don’t want to do this — I’d like to sell [those products],” Kress later added. “But the reality is that Tide is not a profitable item in this store … In many instances people stock the product and within two hours it’s gone, so it’s not on the shelf anyway.”

Gold Star Families Force Biden to Face His Failure in the Botched Afghanistan Withdrawal: ‘Disgrace to the Nation’

The families of 13 American service members killed during Joe Biden’s botched withdrawal from Afghanistan two years ago inserted themselves back into the country’s conscience last week.

“Not a single person has been held accountable,” said Mark Schmitz, the father of Marine Lance Cpl. Jared Schmitz, one of the 13 heroes killed in a terrorist bomb blast on Aug. 26, 2021, during the chaotic military evacuation of Kabul airport. “Our so-called leader can’t seem to even utter their names in public, not even once.”

The Gold Star families’ unanswered reproach of the president finally found voice when they testified before the House Foreign Affairs Committee last week, almost exactly two years after the debacle. . .

Their tragedy has been suppressed, their inconvenient grief largely ignored by the media, their stories buried by Google search and the breezy Wikipedia entry on the Afghanistan withdrawal which barely mentions the 13 fallen.

District Attorney Blocked From Enforcing State Law Shielding Kids From Explicit Performances

A federal judge blocked a Tennessee district attorney from enforcing the state’s law shielding children from sexually explicit performances ahead of a “Pride” event after he was sued by the American Civil Liberties Union.

The judge’s ruling comes after the ACLU filed a lawsuit this week against Blount County DA Ryan Desmond, who sent a letter to Blount County Pride saying that any explicit performances in front of children would not be allowed at a “Pride” event on September 2 just south of Knoxville. Video has emerged from “Pride” events across the country of explicit drag performances with children present and looking on.

“It is certainly possible that the event in question will not violate any of the criminal statutes,” Desmond said. “However if sufficient evidence is presented to this office that these referenced criminal statutes have been violated, our office will ethically and justly prosecute these cases in the interest of justice.”

Desmond had a temporary restraining order placed on him by U.S. District Judge Ronnie Greer meaning that he is blocked from enforcing Tennessee’s Adult Entertainment Act. Also part of the suit was Flamy Grant, who has been portrayed in the media as a “Christian” drag performer. Ramaswamy: Trump’s Indictments Making U.S. A ‘Banana Republic’

Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy said Sunday on ABC’s “This Week” that former President Donald Trump’s indictments were making the United States a “banana republic.”

“This Week” anchor George Stephanopoulos said, “Your hand shot up pretty fast at the debate when you were asked whether you would vote for Donald Trump in the general election, even if he was a convicted felon. Can you just explain why you would vote for a convicted felon for president?” . . .

Ramaswamy said, “So look. I think that many of these prosecutions against Donald Trump are outright, downright politicized persecutions through prosecution that set an awful precedent for our country. I do not want to see us become a banana republic where the administrative police state uses police force to eliminate opponents from competition. That is not the way it works.
