President Joe Biden blamed Russia for the attack of the Nord Stream natural gas pipeline last September, despite his administration receiving intelligence three months earlier that Ukrainian forces planned to conduct such an attack.

On Tuesday, the Washington Post reported, based on Pentagon documents allegedly leaked onto Discord, that a European nation briefed the Biden administration that “the Ukrainian military had planned a covert attack on the undersea network using a small team of divers who reported directly to the commander in chief of the Ukrainian armed forces.”

The Post reported, “Details about the plan, which have not been previously reported, were collected by a European intelligence service and shared with the CIA in June 2022. They provide some of the most specific evidence to date linking the government of Ukraine to the eventual attack in the Baltic Sea, which U.S. and Western officials have called a brazen and dangerous act of sabotage on Europe’s energy infrastructure.” . . .

Biden’s comments suggests that he either did not receive word of the briefing — alarming given he is president and his policy of supporting Ukraine for “as long as it takes” — or that he knew of the intelligence and may have deliberately misled Americans. Majority of Americans Want Corrupt FBI to Be Reformed or ‘Shut Down’

More than half of the nation, 63 percent, want the FBI to face some form of punishment for weaponizing its power against the American people to achieve political goals, a new poll from Issues & Insights and TIPP suggests.

The FBI’s years-long malfeasance — which includes misleading Congress, covering up corruption, manufacturing scandals, raiding the home of a former president, targeting innocent people based on their moral and political beliefs, and interfering in elections — is no secret to the majority of Americans who know the U.S. has a two-tiered system of justice.

The agency’s laundry list of deeply rooted corruption became even more obvious in recent weeks after Special Counsel John Durham confirmed there was never any evidence to sustain the agency’s “seriously flawed” Crossfire Hurricane investigation of “collusion” between then-presidential candidate Donald Trump and Russia.

Disney Proves DeSantis’ Point by Going After Military Guests

“Disney was not accountable to anyone,” observed Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in his announcement kicking off his presidential campaign. “You know, it’s human nature: If there’s no accountability over any individual or entity, of course they’re going to behave differently than if you have normal accountability.” The truth of DeSantis’ words is perfectly demonstrated by Disney’s recent treatment of guests at Shades of Green, a military-owned hotel at Walt Disney World. Disney’s actions say a lot about how a company — one that used to be notable for its patriotism in the days of Walt — now regards U.S. Armed Forces families and veterans.

The U.S. Army bought the Shades of Green hotel, then called the Disney Inn, from Disney in 1996. Guests of Shades of Green, the flagship military recreational property in the contiguous U.S., are military personnel, their families, and veterans. According to Steve Bell, who runs the main website for military visitors to Disney parks, the hotel is self-sustaining — it’s funded through guests’ payments for rooms and meals, not through annual appropriations.

As a property, Shades of Green’s primary allure is its close proximity to the original — and still most popular — section of Walt Disney World, the area including the Magic Kingdom and the monorail encircling Seven Seas Lagoon. Shades of Green enjoys a prime location just across the street from Disney’s Polynesian Resort. From the Polynesian, Shades of Green guests can easily ride the monorail to the Magic Kingdom, board the boats that travel across Seven Seas Lagoon, or take the path around the lagoon to the park’s entrance.

Now, abruptly, Disney has barred Shades of Green guests from walking off the hotel’s grounds and crossing the street to the Polynesian, thereby cutting off their pedestrian access to the monorail, the boats, and the Magic Kingdom itself. Why has Disney done this? Because it can.

The Reedy Creek Improvement District (RCID), the entity through which Disney has been granted largely unequaled powers of self-government — and which has been a focus of DeSantis’ fight with the corporation — approved funding for construction to widen the road between the Polynesian and Shades of Green. In light of this road project, Disney decided the existing crosswalk would no longer suffice for pedestrian traffic. But rather than building a bridge or putting in a stoplight, Disney decided it would simply ban Shades of Green guests from crossing that street, thereby shutting down pedestrian access from the hotel to the rest of Walt Disney World. This is access that had been available for 50 years, according to Bell, long before the Army bought the hotel 27 years ago. Chris Christie Files to Run for President

Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has filed to run for president, becoming the latest Republican contender to join an already-crowded field.

Christie, 60, filed papers with the Federal Election Commission to formally begin his candidacy on Tuesday. Christie served as governor of New Jersey for eight years, from 2010 to 2018, and formerly was a close ally of former President Donald Trump, whom he has since extensively criticized.

Christie last ran for president in 2016, a campaign in which he did not win any primaries or caucuses but attracted attention for his debate performance, with one exchange criticizing Republican Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida for pre-prepared responses to questions garnering acclaim from Republicans. He later endorsed Trump and served as the head of his presidential transition team, though he was removed from the role after the election and passed over by Trump for the vice presidency.

Did Sony Make Gwen Stacy Trans in New ‘Spider-Man’ Film?

Some fans of the new animated Sony film “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” are convinced that the fictional character Gwen Stacy is transgender.

In the sequel to Sony’s highly successful “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” (2018), viewers observed that the color palette used in several of Stacy’s scenes “appear imbued with the pastel blue, pink and white” colors of the transgender Pride flag, The Pink News reported. There is also a “Protect Trans Kids” sign on the wall of Stacy’s bedroom.

A third example comes from a scene where Stacy reveals her secret identity as Spider-Woman to her father, who is a police officer reportedly wearing a “trans Pride flag badge” pinned to his uniform. The Pink News reported that many viewers interpreted the scene as a metaphor for coming out. The colors of the transgender Pride flag are also incorporated into the animation.

“Gwen Stacy is trans,” one fan wrote. “Her whole arc is a trans allegory. The colors are the trans flag. But most telling. HER WHITE COP DAD WEARS THE TRANS COLORS ON HIS UNIFORM. NO F***ING COP IS THAT MUCH OF AN ALLY UNLESS THEY HAVE A TRANS FAMILY MEMBER!”

Four Dead in Crash That Led to Sonic Boom From F-16 Fighter Jets; Florida Businessman Says ‘Entire Family’ Was on Crashed Plane Behind D.C. Chaos

By New York Post. A sonic boom was heard across the Washington DC area Sunday afternoon when military jets raced after a private, unresponsive plane that crossed into restricted airspace and later crashed, killing all four people onboard.

The deafening boom rang out when two F-16 fighter jets were scrambled from Joint Base Andrews, in Maryland to investigate the aircraft that was flying, but not responding to radio transmissions shortly after 3 p.m., according to the Department of Defense. . .

The owner of the company where the plane was registered told the Times Sunday his daughter, 2-year-old granddaughter and their nanny, as well as the pilot, were on the doomed plane on their way back to their East Hampton home.

John Rumpel, of Encore Motors of Melbourne Inc, said they were returning to New York after visiting him in North Carolina. He told the newspaper he didn’t have much information but suggested the plane may have lost pressurization. . .

The sonic boom, which occurs after a vehicle breaks the sound barrier at 767 mph, could be heard throughout the capital, and cities in Maryland and northern Virginia, with many taking to Twitter to question the explosion that rattled their homes. Florida Businessman Says ‘Entire Family’ Was on Crashed Plane Behind D.C. Chaos

By The Daily Beast. A Florida businessman and prominent political donor identified himself as the owner of a Cessna passenger aircraft that sparked panic as it flew into restricted U.S. airspace over Washington, D.C. Sunday—before crashing into the Virginia wilderness, according to a report. . .

According to federal aviation records, the plane was registered to Encore Motors of Melbourne, a Florida-based company owned by John and Barbara Rumpel, though neither were on board at the time of the crash.

In a brief interview with The Washington Post, John Rumpel confirmed he was the owner of Encore and said his “entire family” was on the plane at the time, including his daughter, a grandchild and her nanny. . .

Both Barbara and her husband, prominent business people in Florida, have donated to a medley of Republican candidates for federal office over the past few years, including hundreds of thousands of dollars in donations to former President Donald Trump and his political organization, according to Federal Election Commission records viewed by The Daily Beast. ‘Highly Credible’ Source Reveals Scandal Bigger Than Biden Bribery: FBI Election Interference

The confidential human source (CHS) behind the detailed allegations that then-Vice President Joe Biden agreed to accept money from a foreign national to affect policy decisions was reportedly “highly credible” and used by the FBI in multiple criminal investigations dating back to the Obama administration. Friday’s exclusive by Fox News provides further insight into Sen. Chuck Grassley’s focus on the FBI — as opposed to the Biden family — as the primary scandal in play.

“We aren’t interested in whether or not the accusations against [then]-Vice President Biden are accurate,” Grassley said during an interview last week discussing FBI Director Christopher Wray’s refusal to comply with the congressional subpoena issued for the FD-1023 form. That form, dated June 30, 2020, included detailed information from a CHS to the FBI regarding an agreement by now-President Biden to deliver preferred foreign policy positions for a $5 million payment.

After Grassley revealed he had already seen the FD-1023, Fox News’ Bill Hemmer queried: “How damning is this document to the sitting U.S. president?”

“I don’t know,” responded Grassley, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee. He stressed that while “there’s accusations” in the FBI report, the congressional oversight committees’ concern is whether “the FBI does its job.” “That’s what we want to know,” he continued. . .

Yes, the CHS’s allegations offer more evidence of a Biden family pay-to-play scandal, and unraveling any criminal conduct by the Biden family remains important. Elon Musk Calls Out ‘Gender-Affirming Care For Minors’ as ‘Pure Evil’

Billionaire business tycoon Elon Musk is continuing to speak out against permitting gender-transition measures to be performed on minors, declaring in a tweet that “‘gender-affirming care for minors’ is pure evil.”

Musk made the comment in response to a tweet from Jordan Peterson, who had declared that the “phrase ‘gender-affirming’ care is a criminally evil lie.”

The term refers to measures such as surgeries, cross-sex hormones, and puberty blockers, which do almost the exact opposite of affirming an individual’s immutable biological sex.

Musk indicated in a tweet last week that he intends to lobby to “criminalize” the performance of permanent gender-transition measures on kids prior to the age of consent.

“This is a major problem. I will be actively lobbying to criminalize making severe, irreversible changes to children below the age of consent. Shame on those who advocate this! Nearly a Third of Gen Z Americans Say Government Should Put Cameras in Every Home to Prevent Crime and Abuse

A new poll found a surprising percentage of Gen Z Americans supporting the idea of the government placing cameras in every home in order to prevent crime and abuse.

The finding was a part of a poll of 2,000 Americans by the Cato Institute.

The poll asked whether Americans supported “the government installing surveillance cameras in every household to reduce domestic violence, abuse, and other illegal activity.”

Overall, very few Americans supported the idea, about 14 percent, or one out of every seven respondents. A large majority, 75%, opposed the idea, and only 10% said they weren’t sure.

Big Tech-Backed Group Tries to Kill California Bill Because It Could Help Conservative Media

The Chamber of Progress, a tech industry coalition backed by companies such as Google and Meta, released statements and a study arguing against the California Journalism Preservation Act (CJPA), stating it would primarily benefit conservative media outlets.

The California Assembly passed the CJPA on Thursday, a bill that compels companies like Google and Meta to pay publications for news links they post on their platforms, which would disproportionately enrich “disinformation giants like Fox News and the New York Post,” according to the Chamber of Progress. The coalition lists Google and Meta as corporate partners on its website and the Chamber of Progress’s founder and CEO, Adam Kovacevich, formerly headed Google’s U.S. policy strategy and external affairs team, according to its website.

“This bill’s biggest winners aren’t California news outlets, they’re national media outlets known for spreading disinformation,” Kovacevich said in a statement. “By requiring online platforms to pay media outlets that produce viral articles, the CJPA actually makes the problem worse by incentivizing clickbait and misinformation.”

The Chamber of Progress conducted a study on the CJPA and found that “disinformation outlets including Fox News and the New York Post would profit the most.” Fox News would make 643 times as much money as California newspapers, 151 times as much as Latino news outlets and 844 times as much money as black California news outlets, according to the Chamber of Progress’s analysis of its study.
