Americans feel less safe under President Joe Biden, and thanks to soft-on-crime woke cities, crime has surged during the last two years.

As Biden continues to threaten the Second Amendment, Americans are taking their safety into their hands.

According to a new study by the University of Washington, the number of U.S. adult handgun owners carrying daily nearly doubled in four years.

The November 16 study found that 6 million adults carried a firearm on themselves in 2019, which is up by 3 million in 2015.

Georgia Early Voting off to Robust Start Following Court Battle and Nasty Campaign

Early voting polls opened for the second day on Sunday for the Georgia Senate runoff deciding whether Democrats expand their Senate majority.

After the first day of voting on Saturday, more than 90,000 early and absentee votes were tallied, according to figures from the Georgia Secretary of State’s Office posted as of early Sunday morning. By the end of Day 2, voter turnout is expected to top six figures, according to Gabriel Sterling, a top Georgia election official.

Turnout has been especially strong among black voters, who have cast 41,195 — or 46% — of the 90,357 votes so far, according to Sunday morning state figures. Women made up 56% of votes cast to date, and the demographic groups with the highest turnout were voters between the ages of 50 and 70 years old and young people (18-24 years old.)

Border Patrol Official Rips White House Response to Illegal Immigration Crisis

National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd accused the White House of continuing to “deflect and lie” about the situation at the southern border on Saturday.

Judd accused the Biden administration of “trying to set a new normal” regarding illegal crossings and the smuggling of illegal drugs into the United States. Judd also claimed to Fox News that the media are covering for the White House by not investigating the administration’s handling of the border.

“They don’t have to make changes if the American public isn’t upset about what’s going on,” Judd said. “But let me be clear: What we’re seeing on the border is nothing more than chaos, and it’s allowing these cartels to bring in the fentanyl. All illegal immigration is doing is facilitating the trafficking of higher value products such as drugs, criminals from special interest countries, or criminal aliens from countries, and that’s dangerous to the American people.”

Judd also addressed recent data from Fox News regarding the Del Rio Sector of the border, which had 10,343 illegal crossings, 5,903 known gotaways, and six sex offenders arrested in a span of seven days. The National Border Patrol Council president claimed the U.S. is “seeing this everywhere” across all nine borders and that, historically, only 30,000 to 40,000 should be seized at the border per month. It’s up to 200,000 people being seized at the border every month.

Elon Musk Reveals His 2024 Presidential Pick

Twitter CEO Elon Musk said he would support Ron DeSantis if the Florida Governor chooses to run for president in 2024.

“As a reminder, I was a significant supporter of the Obama-Biden presidency and (reluctantly) voted for Biden over Trump,” Musk tweeted Friday.

“But freedom of speech is the bedrock of a strong democracy and must take precedence,” he added. “My preference for the 2024 presidency is someone sensible and centrist. I had hoped that would the case for the Biden administration, but have been disappointed so far.”

In response to @ProudElephantUS asking in the same thread Musk if he would support Ron DeSantis in 2024, Musk responded, “Yes.”

Putin Calls for International Settlements Based on Blockchain and Digital Currencies

Russian President Vladimir Putin believes a new system for international money transfers is needed to reduce dependence on big banks and third parties. He is convinced that cross-border payments relying on digital currency and distributed ledger technology will be “much more convenient.”

President of Russia Vladimir Putin has called for the establishment of a new system for international settlements, independent from banks and third-party interference. It can be created using digital currency technologies and distributed ledgers, the Russian leader said, quoted by local media.

Putin was speaking during a conference devoted to artificial intelligence and organized by Russia’s largest lender, Sberbank. During his address, he emphasized that financial flows and payments between nations are currently under threat amid tense relations between Russia and the West.

“We all know very well that under today’s illegitimate restrictions, one of the lines of attack is through settlements. And our financial institutions know this better than anyone because they are exposed to these practices,” the president elaborated. Landry labeled Fauci the “man who single-handedly wrecked the US economy based upon ‘the science, follow the science.’” But “over the course of seven hours, we discovered that he can’t recall practically anything dealing with his COVID response,” Landry said. . .

How many lies did Fauci tell on Wednesday? The transcript has not been released, but a few “pants on fire” snippets have come out. After Fauci championed lockdowns to vanquish COVID, top scientists from Oxford, Stanford and Harvard in October 2020 issued the Great Barrington Declaration, which argued that “focused protection” for high-risk groups (such as the elderly) was vastly preferable to shutting down society.

When asked about his role in assailing that Declaration, Fauci declared, “I have a very busy day job running a $6 billion institute. I don’t have time to worry about things like the Great Barrington Declaration.” But less than two weeks after the Declaration’s release, Fauci emailed Deborah Birx, the White House COVID chief, “I have come out very strongly publicly against the Great Barrington Declaration.” Fauci did multiple media interviews castigating any suggestion that lockdowns were unnecessary to save America.

Fauci apparently sees himself as part of a caste of politically favored scientists entitled to rule Americans’ lives. Schmitt tweeted that Fauci declared during the deposition that “the rest of us ‘don’t have the ability’ to determine what’s best for ourselves.”

Fauci has consistently behaved as if federal health officials deserve unchallengeable dictatorial powers. When a federal judge in April struck down the Biden administration mask mandate for airplane travelers, Fauci caterwauled, “This is a CDC issue, it should not have been a court issue.” Fauci neglected to reveal the secret provision of the Constitution that entitles political appointees to nullify the rest of the nation’s founding document. Fauci Emailed Friend Saying Masks Were ‘Ineffective,’ Pushed for Mandates Anyway, Missouri AG Says

By Fox News. Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt said Friday that during his seven-hour deposition with Dr. Anthony Fauci, new information revealed that two months after Fauci told a friend masks were “ineffective,” he supported mask mandates.

On Friday, the Show-Me State Republican attorney general tweeted a “tidbit” from his deposition with the outgoing head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases:

“Another tidbit from Fauci depo: In Feb ‘20 he emailed a friend advising her masks were ineffective. Confirmed again on Mar 31. On Apr 3 he’s adamant masks should be worn even though he couldn’t cite a single study to prove it. Mandates followed—Lives ruined.”

“COVID tyranny is born,” Schmitt continued.

Kari Lake Vows Larger Legal Challenge After 1st Election Lawsuit Filed

Arizona Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake said that she is planning a larger legal challenge than the one that her team filed against Maricopa County earlier this week.

“So we filed this lawsuit in court today asking the county to cough up some of the public documentation we need for our bigger lawsuit,” she told Just the News Wednesday. Lake added that she has not determined what the remedy of the lawsuit would be.

“Many people are saying they want a redo of Maricopa County. I’ve heard people say throw it out. We have not determined what the remedy is. But I don’t think you can fix what happened,” she said.

Lake, a Republican backed by former President Donald Trump, criticized how the County ran the election, saying “there were three-hour lines” in part caused by problems with the tabulation equipment at polling locations, in an interview with Newsmax.

U.S. Bans Chinese Tech That Allegedly Lets China Spy on Military Sites

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) on Friday announced a ban on new imports of Chinese-owned telecommunications equipment, including the equipment suspected of surveilling sensitive U.S. military sites.

The new rules, prohibiting U.S. sales and imports of equipment from companies including Huawei and ZTE, are the first to be implemented on the grounds they pose “unacceptable risk to national security,” FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr said Friday. U.S. authorities have expressed concerns that Beijing could exploit the companies’ telecommunications installations across the country to collect data from U.S. sites, including nuclear and military sites in the U.S.

“While we’ve flagged equipment as posing a national security risk, prohibited companies from using federal funds to purchase them, and even stood up programs to replace them, for the last several years the FCC has continued to put its stamp of approval on this equipment through its equipment authorization process,” FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel said in a statement.

“But that does not make any sense,” she added.

The FCC’s new regulations prohibit authorization of any new equipment from companies already listed on an existing log of communications and services that the FCC determines pose an “unacceptable” national security threat, and includes Huawei, ZTE, Hytera, Hikvision and Dahua. ‘Liberal Bias’ or ‘Cheney 2024’? J6 Staffers, Liz Cheney Trade Blows Over Final Committee Report

GOP Rep. Liz Cheney has drawn the ire of House January 6 Committee staffers over her influence on the final committee report expected out next month.

At least fifteen current and former members of the committee believe Cheney is manipulating the final report to place too much focus on former President Donald Trump while leaving other important information out, according to The Washington Post. Cheney’s office says that the staffers are wrong and that the information the Wyoming congresswoman is cutting out was rife with “liberal bias.”

One former committee staffer said that Cheney’s changes to the report were done chiefly for political reasons. Cheney’s focus on Trump is potentially coming at the cost of other committee research on law enforcement, militia groups, and financing, staffers complained.

“We all came from prestigious jobs, dropping what we were doing because we were told this would be an important fact-finding investigation that would inform the public,” the former staffer told WaPo. “But when [the committee] became a Cheney 2024 campaign, many of us became discouraged.” (Read more from “‘Liberal Bias’ or ‘Cheney 2024’? FDA Approves Most Expensive Drug in the World

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved a $3.5 million drug treatment Tuesday, the most expensive drug in the world.

Hemgenix, manufactured by CSL Behring, is the first gene therapy that treats adults with hemophilia B, a genetic bleeding disorder resulting in insufficient levels of a protein called Factor IX that is needed to stop bleeding. Those with severe hemophilia B are required to have regular infusions, but the new multi-million dollar gene therapy is a single-dose IV infusion, carrying a gene for blood clotting Factor IX.

“Today’s approval provides a new treatment option for patients with Hemophilia B and represents important progress in the development of innovative therapies for those experiencing a high burden of disease associated with this form of hemophilia,” said Peter Marks, M.D., Ph.D., director of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research.

Around one in 40,000 people, mostly men, have the bleeding disorder. Those with hemophilia B can experience heavy or prolonged bleeding after injuries, surgeries, and dental procedures. Some with the hemophilia B even bleed for no apparent reason, and the disease can cause bleeding into joints, muscles, internal organs, and the brain.
