Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY) has remained silent on the FBI raid of former President Donald Trump’s estate at Mar-A-Lago.

McConnell did not respond to Breitbart News’s request for comment on the shocking incident, nor has he released a public statement about the historic raid at the time of publication.

The GOP leader has not commented or demonstrated concern about this historic precedent at a time when Trump may mount a comeback campaign against President Joe Biden in 2024.

Three GOP senators in leadership positions have issued public statements condemning the raid, including Senate Republican Conference chair John Barrasso (R-WY), National Republican Senatorial Committee chair Rick Scott (R-FL), and Senate Republican Conference vice chair Joni Ernst (R-IA).

“When Republicans retake the majority in the Senate, there will be a thorough & aggressive investigation into the @FBI’s raid of Mar-a-Lago,” Scott tweeted. “Everything needs to be on the table for AG Garland, including impeachment if he doesn’t come out TODAY & explain what happened.” (Read more from “Where’s Mitch? Judge Who OK’d Mar-A-Lago Raid Obama Donor Once Linked to Jeffrey Epstein

The Florida federal magistrate judge who signed off on a search warrant authorizing the FBI raid of former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort donated to Barack Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign — months after he left the local US Attorney’s office to rep employees of convicted pedophile Jeffrey Epstein who had received immunity in the long-running sex-trafficking investigation of the financier.

Sources tell The Post that Judge Bruce Reinhart approved the warrant that enabled federal agents to converge on the palatial South Florida estate on Monday in what Trump called an “unannounced raid on my home.”

Reinhart was elevated to magistrate judge in March 2018 after 10 years in private practice. That November, the Miami Herald reported that he had represented several of Epstein’s employees — including, by Reinhart’s own admission to the outlet, Epstein’s pilots; his scheduler, Sarah Kellen; and Nadia Marcinkova, who Epstein once reportedly described as his “Yugoslavian sex slave.”

Kellen and Marcinkova were among Epstein’s lieutenants who were granted immunity as part of a controversial 2007 deal with federal prosecutors that allowed the pervert to plead guilty to state charges rather than federal crimes. Epstein wound up serving just 13 months in county jail and was granted work release.

According to the Herald, which cited court documents, Reinhart resigned from the South Florida US Attorney’s Office effective on New Year’s Day 2008 and went to work for Epstein’s cohorts the following day. FBI Doubles Down: Key GOP Congressman’s Phone Seized

One day after the FBI raided former President Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago, agents confronted U.S. Rep. Scott Perry (R-PA) and seized his cell phone while the congressman was at an airport with his family. Three FBI agents approached Perry, handed over a warrant for his cell phone, and then seized the mobile device — apparently without previously trying to contact his attorney.

In a statement, Perry slammed the seizure and the Biden administration’s politicization of the Justice Department. “This morning, while traveling with my family, 3 FBI agents visited me and seized my cell phone,” Perry recounted. “They made no attempt to contact my lawyer, who would have made arrangements for them to have my phone if that was their wish.”

“I’m outraged — though not surprised — that the FBI under the direction of Merrick Garland’s DOJ, would seize the phone of a sitting Member of Congress,” Rep. Perry continued. “My phone contains info about my legislative and political activities, and personal/private discussions with my wife, family, constituents, and friends. None of this is the government’s business,” he added.

Perry, a close ally of Trump, continued by connecting his run-in with the FBI to the raid on Mar-A-Lago, saying the “DOJ chose this unnecessary and aggressive action instead of simply contacting my attorneys,” adding that “these kinds of banana republic tactics should concern every Citizen — especially considering the decision before Congress this week to hire 87,000 new IRS agents to further persecute law-abiding Citizens.” (Read more from “FBI Doubles Down: Key GOP Congressman’s Phone Seized” HERE)

Report: Police Identify Suspect in Muslim Killings as Fellow Muslim

Police have identified the man arrested in two of a string of killings of Muslim men in the past year — another Muslim.

Muhammad Syed, 51, has reportedly been charged with murder in the deaths of two Muslim men in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

According to local Muslim leaders cited in multiple news outlets, the killings are believed to be motivated by inter-Islam sectarian conflict.

Ahmad Assed, the president of the Islamic Center of New Mexico, told the New York Times that authorities had informed him that the suspect was a Sunni, and was enraged over his daughter marrying a Shiite.

Mark Levin Unloads on Trump Raid: ‘No Justification for Sending 30 Freaking FBI Agents’

BlazeTV host Mark Levin unloaded on the FBI Monday night, calling the raid on Donald Trump’s home in Palm Beach, Florida, “outrageous” and the “worst attack on this republic in modern history.”

Levin, a former chief of staff to U.S. Attorney General Edwin Meese, called in to “Hannity” on Fox News Monday to give his reaction to the then-breaking news that FBI agents executed a search warrant at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago residence. Federal agents were reportedly searching for evidence that Trump violated federal records-keeping law by allegedly taking classified documents from the White House with him to Mar-a-Lago when he left office.

“First of all, I’m a former chief of staff to a United States attorney general. We would never ever have done this. Ever,” Levin told Sean Hannity. “Number two, it’s 90 days before midterm election. That’s outrageous.” . . .

Levin said the accusations in Haberman’s book and other reports of Trump’s alleged misconduct served as a “pretext” for the raid on Mar-a-Lago.

“There is no justification for sending 30 freaking FBI agents to the former president’s compound in Mar-a-Lago in early morning and conducting themselves this way or in any other cases in which they’ve done exactly the same thing,” Levin said.

Trump Says FBI Conducted Search at His Mar-A-Lago Estate

The FBI searched former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate as part of an investigation into whether he took classified records from the White House to his Florida residence, people familiar with the matter said Monday. Trump disclosed the action in a lengthy statement, asserting that agents had broken into his safe in a search he decried as evidence of “dark times for our nation.”

The search, which the FBI and Justice Department did not immediately confirm, marks a dramatic escalation in law enforcement scrutiny of Trump and comes amid a separate but intensifying probe into efforts to overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

Trump and his allies immediately sought to cast the search as part of a Democratic-driven effort to keep him from winning another term in 2024, even though the Biden White House said it had no prior knowledge of it and the current FBI director, Christopher Wray, was appointed by Trump five years ago and served as a high-ranking official in a Republican-led Justice Department. After former President Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home in Florida was raided by FBI agents, Republicans are slamming the Biden administration and accusing the Department of Justice of “political weaponization,” while Democrats are lauding the agency for holding Trump accountable for “wrongdoing.”

“The raid of MAL is another escalation in the weaponization of federal agencies against the Regime’s political opponents, while people like Hunter Biden get treated with kid gloves,” said Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis. “Now the Regime is getting another 87k IRS agents to wield against its adversaries? Banana Republic.”

Multiple sources tell Fox News the FBI’s raid of Mar-a-Lago is related to the materials Trump allegedly brought to his private residence after his presidency concluded. That matter was referred to the Justice Department by the National Archives and Records Administration, which said it found classified material in 15 boxes at the residence.

Shock Raid of Former President’s Home; Trump: ’Democrats Who Desperately Don’t Want Me to Run for President in 2024’

By Breitbart. Former President Donald Trump’s Florida home, Mar-A-Lago, was raided by FBI agents, Trump announced in a statement on Monday.

“These are dark times for our Nation, as my beautiful home, Mar- A-Lago in Palm Beach, Florida, is currently under siege, raided, and occupied by a large group of FBI agents,” Trump said. “Nothing like this has ever happened to a President of the United States before.”

Trump noted his previous cooperation with law enforcement and called the FBI raid of his home “prosecutorial misconduct.” Trump also said it is an example of “the weaponization of the Justice System who desperately don’t want me to run for President in 2024.”

Trump continued:

After working and cooperating with the relevant Government agencies, this unannounced raid on my home was not necessary or appropriate. It is prosecutorial misconduct, the weaponization of the Justice System, and an attack by Radical Left Democrats who desperately don’t want me to run for President in 2024, especially based on recent polls, and who will likewise do anything to stop Republicans and Conservatives in the upcoming Midterm Elections. Such an assault could only take place in broken, Third-World Countries, Sadly, America has now become one of those Countries, corrupt at a level not seen before. They even broke into my safe! What is the difference between this and Watergate, where operatives broke into the Democrat National Committee? Here, in reverse, Democrats broke into the home of the 45th President of the United States.

Pentagon Sends Biggest Arms Package Yet to Ukraine

The Biden administration on Monday pledged $1 billion worth of additional military equipment to Ukraine, the largest single drawdown of firepower from U.S. stocks since the start of Russia’s invasion almost six months ago. The security assistance package includes more warheads for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) and almost 100,000 rounds of artillery and mortar ammunition that Ukrainians say have helped turn the tide of battle in fierce fighting in the south and east.

The latest drawdown is the 18th since Russia invaded its neighbor on Feb. 24, Pentagon officials said Monday.

“This package provides a significant amount of additional ammunition, weapons and equipment — the types of which the Ukrainian people are using so effectively to defend their country,” Colin H. Kahl, undersecretary of defense for policy, told reporters. “These are all critical capabilities to help the Ukrainians repel the Russian offensive in the east and also to address evolving developments in the south and elsewhere.”

The latest round brings the total U.S. security assistance to Ukraine to $9.8 billion since the start of the Biden administration, officials said. Officials in Kyiv say even more firepower is needed to hold off the bigger and better-armed Russian forces.

Biden Says ‘Inflation’ Bill Funds Healthcare, ‘God Knows What Else’ in Bizarre Speech

President Biden seemed unfamiliar Monday with the specifics of the massive spending bill dubbed the Inflation Reduction Act that Senate Democrats passed Sunday, saying it funds healthcare “and God knows what else.”

Moments earlier, Biden misstated the size of last year’s $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure law while touring flood damage in the Kentucky hamlet of Lost Creek.

“We’ve never done this before, but because of a number of things we got done on a bipartisan basis — like a billion, 200 million-dollar infrastructure project — like what we’re doing today, we passed yesterday, helping take care of everything from health care to God knows what else,” Biden said.

“What we’re going to do is — we’re going to see, for example, they got to put a new water line in in the community,” the president went on, speaking without a prepared script.

“There’s no reason why they can’t at the same time be digging a line that puts in a whole new modern line for Internet connections. Why? Why can’t we do that? So it’s going to be different. Report Shows Biden Admin Run by Former Registered Foreign Agents

More than a dozen high-ranking members of the Biden administration previously worked as registered foreign agents, according to a new report obtained exclusively by The Federalist. The report was published by the Biden administration watchdog “Inside Biden’s Basement,” itself a project of the nonprofit Transparency Action Fund.

Titled, “Foreign Agents Lurking Inside Biden’s Basement,” the group’s new report outlines the networks of at least 13 officials under President Joe Biden who were once paid to represent foreign interests and registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA). Their prior clients range from Iran and Kazakhstan to Canada and Mexico.

FARA records show White House Deputy Counsel Jonathan Su’s law firm paid out $30,000 a month to Mercury Public Affairs on behalf of the government of Kazakhstan in 2018. Biden Special Assistant Erin Pelton was employed with Mercury in the same year and worked on behalf of both Kazakhstan and Qatar, according to public government documents.

In 2006, Biden’s U.S. Ambassador to Poland Mark Brzezinski’s public affairs firm, McGuireWoods Consulting, was paid nearly $140,000 over a six-month period by the Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office (TECRO). That man is clearly part of Nancy Pelosi’s inner entourage, but, strangely, he does not appear in any other photographs circulating on the internet.

The photographs of the man labeled as Paul Pelosi, Jr. above have a similar tie worn by Paul Pelosi, Jr., as shown in the 2017 photograph taken in Ukraine below.

Additional pictures were uncovered of Pelosi’s travels in Asia, and one picture reportedly from Singapore looks like that is her son traveling with her.

If Paul Pelosi Jr. did accompany his mother on her August 2-3, 2022 trip to Taiwan, is he playing the same role for Nancy Pelosi as Hunter Biden played for Joe Biden, enriching the family through influence peddling?

Like Hunter Biden, Paul Pelosi Jr. has been linked to many shady business dealings but has never been prosecuted.

My guess is that it is about computer chips and the family fortune, not diplomacy.
