Conservative State Will Bar Medicaid Coverage for Gender Reassignment Surgeries, Hormones

Florida will prohibit Medicaid coverage for various gender reassignment measures such as surgeries, puberty blockers, hormones, hormone antagonists, and procedures that would change primary or secondary sex characteristics.

The rule, which marks a blow against radical leftist gender ideology, will go into effect later this month on August 21.

“Throughout this process ⁦@AHCA_FL [Florida Agency for Health Care Administration] has remained committed to following the evidence in the treatment of gender dysphoria, rather than the eminence of a medical society or association. Our focus will always be on paving the way for a healthier Florida,” tweeted Brock Juarez, communications director for the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration.

Media reports discussing the state’s move used the term “gender-affirming” to refer to the gender transition measures that will not be covered by Florida Medicaid. A Politico headline read, “Florida bans Medicaid from covering gender-affirming treatments,” while a Washington Post headline declared, “Florida to bar Medicaid coverage for those seeking gender-affirming care.”

Elon Musk Weighs in on IRS Preparing to Hire Army of Agents

Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk poked fun at his fellow Americans on Thursday for allowing the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to more than double in size.

Musk posted a meme depicting a laughing British redcoat, along with the caption: “when the country that revolted over taxes hires 87,000 new IRS agents.”

Musk, a South African who lived in Canada before becoming an American citizen, told a user that he already gets “audited every year by default.”

Indeed, top Biden administration officials — including Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen and IRS Commissioner Charles Rettig — have argued that the 87,000 new employees, who will be hired through an $80 billion carveout from the $740 billion Inflation Reduction Act, will focus primarily upon wealthy Americans. The IRS employed nearly 79,000 full-time employees as of fiscal year 2021, according to the agency, which also reported $13.7 billion in operating costs. Media, Democrats Admit They Expect the FBI’s Trump Raid to Bait People Into Violence

The FBI and media narrative in the days after the FBI’s unprecedented raid on the home of a former president and opposition party leader was one of feigned surprise that such authoritarian tactics would prompt any outrage. Simultaneously, however, media and Democrat figures used the raid to project their expectations of a violent reaction onto their political opponents.

The right’s outrage over yet another high-profile example of federal intelligence agencies applying double standards to Democrats’ political opponents was quickly exploited by corrupt actors such as MSNBC to accuse conservatives like YouTuber Steven Crowder of trying to “agitate for ‘civil war’” with a tweet on the night of the raid.

Crowder clearly meant that as a metaphoric war, something his crew explained shortly after MSNBC trashed him on-air and in an article. But that hasn’t stopped the press and Democrats from egging conservatives, shocked at the politicization of the DOJ and FBI, toward violence — which the former would use like the Jan. 6, 2021, riot to once again punish people on the right far more severely than they punish people on the left for the same infractions.

Leftists consistently use allegations of political violence — whether real fringe violence or the imagined “violence” of free speech — as an excuse to target their enemies. So it’s no surprise that their focus regarding the FBI’s action is not on the fact that unelected bureaucrats rifled through the Republican Party leader’s personal items for more than nine hours without explaining themselves, but that conservatives’ reaction to the abuse of power could include violence. These Are the Items That Led to the FBI Raid on Trump’s Mar-A-Lago

. . .Back to the FBI raid on Trump, do these formerly outstanding items rise to the level of a search warrant? One of the critical documents, if you could call it that, which was sent back to the National Archives was a cocktail napkin. Former President Bill Clinton accidentally left the authorization card for our nuclear arsenal in his suit pocket that was taken for dry cleaning during his presidency. Most rational people would find the latter a more egregious error (via WaPo):

One of the people, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss its details, said agents were conducting a court-authorized search as part of a long-running investigation of whether documents — some of them top-secret — were taken to the former president’s private golf club and residence instead of sent to the National Archives when Trump left office. That could be a violation of the Presidential Records Act, which requires the preservation of memos, letters, notes, emails, faxes and other written communications related to a president’s official duties.

In January, the National Archives and Records Administration retrieved 15 boxes of documents and other items from Mar-a-Lago that Archives officials said should have been turned over when Trump left the White House.

“The Presidential Records Act is critical to our democracy, in which the government is held accountable by the people,” David S. Ferriero, then the archivist of the United States, said in a statement in February.

Deep State Infighting: DOJ Fingers FBI for Mar-A-Lago Raid Disaster; Trump Says DOJ, FBI Asked Him to Put Lock on Door Leading to Documents in Early June

By Breitbart. Senior U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) officials are blaming FBI Director Christopher Wray for the recent raid of former President Donald Trump’s home in an apparent attempt to take pressure off U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland.

After Trump confirmed the FBI raided Mar-a-Lago on Monday, many Republican politicians called on both Wray and Garland to explain the justification for the raid.

For example, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH), the top Republican on the House Judiciary Committee, said, “Merrick Garland, Chris Wray, come to the House Judiciary Committee this Friday and answer our questions about this action today, which has never happened in American history.”

Similarly, House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) called out the DOJ’s “intolerable state of weaponized politicization” and told Garland to “preserve your documents and clear your calendar” as he pledged an investigation into the FBI raid if the Republicans take control of the House after November’s midterms.

Trump Says DOJ, FBI Asked Him to Put Lock on Door Leading to Documents in Early June

By Daily Wire. Former President Trump on Wednesday claimed that the Department of Justice (DOJ) and the FBI had asked his legal team in early June to put an extra lock on the door to the room where boxes of documents reportedly marked as classified were stored.

Trump contended in a statement on Truth Social the feds saw the boxes at his home at Mar-a-Lago in Florida two months before Monday’s dramatic raid. If true, the claim could call into question why the government agents would need to use such heavy-handed tactics to seize documents they knew about.

“They were shown the secured area, and the boxes themselves,” Trump wrote. “Then on Monday, without notification or warning, an army of agents broke into Mar-a-Lago, went to the same storage area, and ripped open the lock that they had asked to be installed. A surprise attack, POLITICS, and all the while our Country is going to HELL!”

Trump was at his Manhattan home in Trump Tower at the time of the raid. FBI agents reportedly examined all offices and his safe at his Mar-a-Lago private residence before removing the boxes and taking them to their local South Florida FBI field office. Eric Trump Speaks Out About Mar-A-Lago Raid, Claims 30 Agents Refused To Hand Over Warrant

Eric Trump, son of former President Donald Trump, claimed on Tuesday that the dozens of FBI agents who raided his father’s Florida home refused to give their lawyer a copy of the search warrant, instead allegedly forcing the lawyer to take a look at the warrant from about 10 feet away.

Trump’s Florida residence at Mar-a-Lago was raided by the feds on Monday morning — though news broke about the incident in the evening. Agents reportedly went into numerous offices, checked safes, and took boxes of documents.

“There’s 30 agents there,” Eric told the Daily Mail. “They told our lawyer (Christina Bobb) … you have to leave the property right now. Turn off all security cameras.”

“They would not give her the search warrant,” the businessman alleged. “So they showed it to her from about 10 feet away. They would not give her a copy of the search warrant.”

‘Forever’ Chemicals in Cookware Linked to Cancer in First Human Study

There’s growing evidence that regular exposure to man-made “forever” chemicals, which are used in a variety of household products, are linked to rising cancer rates.

A new study that examined the correlation between liver cancer and the presence of these chemicals in humans found that people with the highest levels of exposure have 350% greater odds of eventually developing the disease.

The term “forever” chemicals refers to the more than 4,700 available types of perfluoroalkyl and polyfluoroalkyl substances, or PFAS, used widely across manufacturing industries — named as such because the substances degrade very slowly and build up over time, in soil, drinking water and in the body.

PFAS were first introduced in the 1930s as a revolutionary material used in the creation of nonstick cookware — hello, Teflon — and soon adapted to all sorts of products and packaging — from construction materials to cosmetics — that benefit from its liquid- and fire-resistant properties, as noted by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Though incredibly useful, such chemicals have since been linked to the onset of cancer and other illnesses in lab animals. Following strong anecdotal evidence that perfluorooctanesulfonic acids (PFOS) alongside another common substance called perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) were making consumers sick, the Environmental Protection Agency in 2006 ordered eight multinational manufacturing corporations represented in the US to phase out the use of such chemicals. Nevertheless, as their nickname implies, PFOS and PFOA are still being detected in foreign products, in groundwater and in people. Watchdog Unveils Sweeping Records Investigation Into Biden Family

A conservative legal group has sent several requests to the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) for records related to Hunter Biden during Joe Biden’s vice presidency.

America First Legal (AFL), which is led by former senior members of the Trump administration, filed three separate Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests Tuesday to NARA. The nonprofit is asking for a wide variety of information related to those who had financial relationships with Hunter Biden and James Biden in connection with their business dealings overseas, White House visits by them both and also then-vice president Biden’s communications with Hunter and James.

“America First Legal will use every resource at our disposal to oppose and ultimately overcome this lawless, autocratic, malicious third world corruption,” Stephen Miller, president of AFL and a former senior adviser for former President Donald Trump, told the Daily Caller News Foundation. “Civilization is on the line.”

The U.S. Department of Justice’s (DOJ) probe into Hunter Biden’s domestic and foreign dealings has reached a “critical juncture,” CNN reported in July. The investigation, which is being conducted by Delaware U.S. Attorney David Weiss and was launched as early as 2018, is now centered around the Biden son’s alleged tax and foreign lobbying violations and alleged involvement in a 2018 gun incident. Hunter Biden Joins Joe for Vacation as GOP Slams FBI for ‘Double Standard’ After Trump Raid

Disgraced first son Hunter Biden joined his father on Air Force One Wednesday for a flight to a family vacation on Kiawah Island, South Carolina — as Republicans slam the FBI for a “double standard” in raiding former President Trump’s residence, but neither of the Bidens’ homes.

Hunter Biden often involved his father Joe in foreign business deals and is under federal investigation for tax fraud, money laundering and unregistered lobbying — but there’s no indication that either father or son have been raided by the FBI in connection with the long-running investigation. . .

Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis said that the FBI’s treatment of Trump as opposed to the Bidens showed a “Banana Republic”-style legal system.

Former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo tweeted Tuesday: “Look at what the DOJ did last night to President Trump, while it slow-rolls and looks the other way on Hunter Biden.”

Rep. Tim Walberg (R-Mich.) tweeted, “The raid on President Trump’s home sets a dangerous precedent and takes the targeting of political opponents to an alarming new level. Trump Is the Only Possible GOP Candidate for 2024

There are several undeniable conclusions one should reach about the FBI’s raid on former President Donald Trump’s Florida home.

First, the FBI and Department of Justice are notoriously corrupt and filled with partisan actors (although this has been obvious for quite some time). Second, such “Regime apparatchiks” are doing everything in their power to disqualify Trump from running for president ever again. Third — and perhaps most important — Donald Trump is the only possible candidate for the Republican presidential nomination in 2024.

While leftists pat themselves on the back for their ingenious plan to take down the former president with a carefully engineered bureaucratic scheme — never mind that violations of the Presidential Records Act are common, rarely prosecuted, and never used against the regime’s darlings themselves, i.e., Hillary Clinton — they have no idea they just poked a sleeping bear. Or, as Japanese Adm. Isoroku Yamamoto put it in the 1970 film “Tora! Tora! Tora!,” “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.”

In other words, if Democrats thought Trump’s base was fired up — thanks to record inflation, skyrocketing gas prices, rampant crime, and a non-existent border, not to mention a well-supported conviction that the 2020 election was indeed “rigged” — the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago just poured fuel on that fire.
