Transgender-Identified Montana Lawmaker Censured for ‘Hate-Filled’ Comments

A Montana Democrat was censured by the state assembly Thursday after hate-filled comments that accused Republicans of having “blood on your hands” over transgender legislation.

Rep. Zooey Zephyr, the state’s first transgender-identified lawmaker in the Montana legislature, mocked Republican prayers in a floor speech this week as the House debated a bill to codify the sex binary of male and female. Senate Bill 99, which ultimately cleared the lower chamber, bans transgender medical interventions for minors with gender dysphoria.

“The only thing I will say is if you vote yes on this bill, and yes on these amendments, I hope the next time there’s an invocation when you bow your heads in prayer, you see the blood on your hands,” Zephyr said.

The Montana House Freedom Caucus responded to the remarks with a demand to censure the Missoula-area representative. Zephyr was banned from engaging in further floor debate on Thursday and is not allowed to speak on bills in the chamber without an apology.

Tucker Carlson: ‘Information Control’ via Internet Censorship Is a Huge Problem for Democracy (VIDEO)

Tucker Carlson told attendees at The Heritage Foundation’s 50th-anniversary gala that the biggest variable changing everyday Americans’ lives in recent years is the ruling class’ monopoly on information.

“What do you think over the last 10 or 20 years — whatever timeline you think is appropriate —has changed the most?” Roberts asked. “I mean that socially and culturally, I don’t mean that politically, although you can go there if you want, that has affected everyday Americans’ lives?”

“The lack of information,” Carlson quickly replied.

Despite living in a digital world where data and details are available to everyone with access to the internet, Carlson said normal Americans’ access to the information pipeline is significantly hampered.

“The core promise of the internet was as much information as we’ve ever had at your fingertips, and the result has been a centralization of information. This is deliberate, needless to say, but unnoticed by most people. White House Claims GOP Debt Plan Will Give Kids Asthma and ‘Literally Melt Bones’ (VIDEO)

As President Biden refuses to negotiate with House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) to raise the debt ceiling, the White House seems to have decided to relegate Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre to bargaining duty, and she did not ease off the hyperbole (read: false claims) she’s known for.

According to Jean-Pierre in Friday’s White House press briefing, Biden’s new executive order to make “climate justice” — another meaningless buzzword that attempts to put a shiny green veneer on Marxist policies — the “DNA” of his administration and a priority for every agency is a stark contrast with the GOP debt ceiling plan that includes a repeal of Democrats’ falsely named “Inflation Reduction Act.”

With a White House slide behind her to show just how very, very real her “facts” are, Jean-Pierre claimed that, “while President Biden is fighting to clean up toxic pollution and lower costs through [the] Clean Energy Tax Credit, Speaker McCarthy unveiled a ransom notes holding our economy hostage.”

She continued by slamming the GOP plan to raise the debt ceiling and avoid default while rolling spending back to 2022 levels as “a 320-page plan to kill jobs, fill our cities with smog, and give asthma to our children.” She must have forgotten to mention that it’s also 320 pages more than Biden’s non-existent counter offer.

Jean-Pierre continued, saying “the proposal would repeal the Inflation Reduction Act’s Green Energy Tax Credit, sending thousands of jobs back to China [and] it would make it easier for oil companies to use toxic chemicals that cause severe burns, damage people’s eyes, and quite literally melt bones.” How measured. Biden Invites ‘Tennessee Three’ to White House — But Won’t Invite Families of Covenant School Massacre Victims

President Joe Biden has invited the so-called Tennessee Three to the White House, but he is not inviting the families of the victims of the Covenant School massacre.

At the White House press briefing on Wednesday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre announced that Biden has invited Tennessee Democratic state Reps. Justin Jones, Justin Pearson, and Gloria Johnson to the White House. They will visit next Monday. . .

When it was his turn to ask a question, Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy wanted to know: What about the families of the victims of the massacre? . . .

Jean-Pierre, however, could not provide an answer. Instead, she vaguely explained how Biden is “focused on getting things done” and plans to use his “bully pulpit” to continue pushing his agenda, which includes banning so-called assault weapons. Hosting the lawmakers at the White House, Jean-Pierre said, is about fostering a conversation to that end.

Underwear Thrown at House Republicans During Transgender Bill Vote (VIDEO)

LGBT activists threw underwear at Florida House Republicans as lawmakers were discussing a controversial transgender bill at the state Capitol on Tuesday. Written on the underwear were messages reading “not your business,” and “leave my genitals alone.”

Videos shared on social media show several pieces of underwear raining on lawmakers and even falling over their heads.

The bill examined by Florida lawmakers on Tuesday would effectively criminalize doctors for providing gender-affirming care to trans youth, allowing the state to remove children from the care of parents supporting their trans child’s health care. The move is in line with recent efforts made by lawmakers in Republican-led states to pass legislation limiting trans rights.

Elon Musk Slams ChatGPT’s Political Correctness, Promises ‘TruthGPT’ Alternative (VIDEO)

Tesla, SpaceX, and Twitter CEO Elon Musk is planning an entry into the rapidly expanding world of AI chatbots, with an AI project he calls “TruthGPT,” to counter the political correctness of Microsoft and Google-backed AIs.

Musk, who helped found ChatGPT developer OpenAI but later resigned his board seat over potential conflicts of interest with Tesla, said he had doubts about the organization, due to its close ties to Microsoft and the fact that its creators have trained it to be “deceptive” through political correctness.

“The intention with OpenAI was to do good, but it’s not clear if it’s doing good. It’s not clear at this point,” said Musk.

“I am worried about the fact that it’s being trained to be politically correct, which is simply another way of saying untruthful things. That’s a bad sign. Certainly, a path to AI dystopia is to train an AI to be deceptive.”

Elon Musk Tells Tucker Carlson U.S. Government Had Access to Twitter Users’ Direct Messages (VIDEO)

Twitter CEO Elon Musk recently claimed in an interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson that the U.S. government had access to the private messages of all Twitter users.

The Hill reports that Twitter CEO Elon Musk shockingly asserted that the U.S. government has “full access” to users’ private direct messages on the social media platform during a recent in-depth interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson. The multibillionaire businessman talked about his grave concerns regarding the potential risks of artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on the future of humanity while expressing his shock at learning the extent of government surveillance.

Musk discussed his response to learning that the government had access to Twitter during the conversation. “The degree to which government agencies effectively had full access to everything that was going on on Twitter blew my mind,” Musk told Carlson. “I was not aware of that.” Carlson pressed Musk on whether this also applied to direct messages, and Musk responded with a firm “Yes.”

Musk, who recently founded the artificial intelligence firm X.AI, went into more detail about his concerns with regard to the most recent advancements in AI technology. He emphasized that AI is far more dangerous than problems like poorly managed aircraft design or production maintenance, or subpar car production, and that it has the potential to destroy civilization. Police Release Body Camera Footage After Shooting Homeowner at Wrong Address (VIDEO)

Police in New Mexico have released body camera footage after officers shot and killed a homeowner and shot at the man’s wife earlier this month while responding to the wrong address.

On April 5, at about 11:30 p.m., the Farmington Police Department’s dispatch sent officers to 5308 Valley View Avenue due to a domestic violence call. However, officers walked past the correct house, which was illuminated by an outside light, up to the front door of 5305 Valley View Avenue, knocked on the door, and announced themselves. It was only minutes later that shots were fired.

In the body camera footage, officers can be heard repeatedly announcing who they are, but they receive no response. They then ask a dispatcher to confirm the address. The dispatcher tells them the correct address, “5308,” which was diagonal from the house where they were knocking.

Shortly after, the homeowner, Robert Dotson, 52, opened the door with a handgun, and the officers immediately began shooting as they backed away. Video footage emerged over the weekend that showed how a quick thinking bodyguard for Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida saved the political leader from harm after a man threw a explosive device at him during a campaign event.

Kishida, who was campaigning in western Japan, was not injured in the attack, but a police officer did receive treatment for some minor injuries. Police immediately detained a young man — tackling him to the ground — after “the suspicious object” was thrown at Kishida.

Video shows that a bodyguard standing closely to Kishida saw the moment that the object hit the ground near where he was standing and immediately ran toward the device to kick it away while deploying a shield to protect the leader.

The explosive happened several seconds after the prime minister’s team whisked him away. After the bang, people scream and run away while white smoke can be seen rising from where the explosion went off.

Ivy League Pledges to Recommit Itself to Free Speech After Students Shouted Conservative Pundit off Stage

Cornell University pledged Friday to make freedom of expression a theme of the 2023-2024 academic year, months after students shouted a conservative pundit out of the room, according to a recent announcement.

Ann Coulter, a conservative personality, cut her speech at Cornell short in November 2022 after students repeatedly interrupted the event by shouting, playing circus music and making fart noises, student newspaper the Cornell Review reported. Cornell will host a variety of “scholarly and creative events and activities” to challenge the faculty, staff and student body to “engage” with the concepts of “free expression and academic freedom” throughout the current academic year, the announcement reads.

“It is critical to our mission as a university to think deeply about freedom of expression and the challenges that result from assaults on it, which today come from both ends of the political spectrum,” Pollack said in the announcement. “Learning from difference, learning to engage with difference and learning to communicate across difference are key parts of a Cornell education. Free expression and academic freedom are the bedrock not just of the university, but of democracy.”

Activities will include reading groups, debates and exhibitions focused on free expression, according to the announcement. The university will launch a website outlining the different events as well as its goals before the start of the Fall 2023 semester.
