Within the harrowing account of a U.S. Army trainee going AWOL from Fort Jackson, South Carolina, and hijacking a school bus full of children as young as kindergartners is the heroic bus driver’s recollection that his 18 young passengers played a very big role in everyone coming through the ordeal safely.

The driver, Kenneth Corbin, sat down for an interview with ABC’s “Good Morning America” Monday and explained how the May 6 incident all went down.

“The kids were the ones that actually got the gentleman off of the bus, and they pretty much had my back as much as my concerns were with them,” Corbin told “GMA.” “And at the end when they started questioning him, it seemed to have frustrated him because his main objective [was] to get to the next town; but in the end I think we were only on the road about four miles, and he just got frustrated with the questions and just told me to stop the bus and just get off: ‘All y’all get off.'”

The program noted that Jovan Collazo, 23, appeared to be trying to get home, according to police, and remains in custody facing two dozen charges, including 19 counts of kidnapping.

President Joe Biden is calling on Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to “de-escalate” with Hamas terrorists in Gaza as the Iranian backed organization continues its attacks on innocent civilians.

“President Biden spoke with Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu today. The two leaders had a detailed discussion on the state of events in Gaza, Israel’s progress in degrading the capabilities of Hamas and other terrorist elements, and ongoing diplomatic efforts by regional governments and the United States. The President conveyed to the Prime Minister that he expected a significant de-escalation today on the path to a ceasefire,” the White House released about a call between Biden and Netanyahu Wednesday morning.

The Microsoft co-founder participated in an “armchair conversation” with the US Chamber of Commerce CEO Suzanne Clark to talk about lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic.

His wedding band was clearly visible on his left ring finger.

Gates — who joined virtually from home — appeared animated as he discussed preparation for preventing the next health threat from escalating to a pandemic.

CNN Bashes Pro-Lifers in Crazed Abortion Rant (VIDEO)

CNN’s Chris Cuomo bashed pro-lifers on national TV in a race-crazed rant about the newest case taken up by the U.S. Supreme Court examining if a Mississippi ban on elective abortions 15 weeks into pregnancy is unconstitutional.

“We’re about to see if Mitch McConnell’s Supreme Court mission pays off,” Cuomo said on his program Monday night. “It’s now a 6-3 decidedly conservative court, and now says the Supreme Court of the United States that it will hear a case that could remove a woman’s right to control her own body.” . . .

“Legally, the issue is fetal viability. When does what is inside a woman become a person with rights under the law? You would think we would have impaneled experts on a special commission by now to see what the science says, right? But we don’t seem to have the intellectual curiosity about this issue because it’s not really about science,” Cuomo said. “It has become a culture war. WATCH: Pastor Dragged Off by SWAT Team Out on Bail Has a Warning for Americans

Earlier this month, Pastor Artur Pawlowski, the pastor in Canada was arrested on a busy highway and dragged off by a SWAT team along with his brother. The pastor had been targeted for months because he dared to open up his church and not turn anyone away. A judge granted a warrant for police to arrest him doing “anything necessary.” Now, the pastor and his brother are out on bail.

The pastor spoke with Newsmax highlighting how the Calgary Police have been incessantly targeting him, though he doesn’t seem ready to relent any time soon. While speaking with Rob Schmitt, he likened what he has gone through to the plight of Hong Kong protesters.

“I just woke up in Hong Kong a few days ago. I mean, I thought I emigrated to our beloved Canada, but I am in Hong Kong, full force,” he said.

President Joe Biden gave an update on the restart of the Colonial Pipeline Thursday, but warned Americans finding full gas stations and getting back to normal won’t be like “turning on a light switch.”

According to the FBI, the cyberattack on the pipeline was not sanctioned by the Russian government.

“Colonial Pipeline has made substantial progress in safely restarting our pipeline system and can report that product delivery has commenced in a majority of the markets we service. By mid-day today, we project that each market we service will be receiving product from our system. The green segments on this map are operational, meaning product delivery has commenced. U.S. Inflation Soars (VIDEO)

Inflation is soaring in the United States and at a higher rate than analysts predicted. In April 2021, the consumer price index saw a 4.3 percent jump, the fastest increase since 2008.

“Inflation accelerated at its fastest pace in more than 12 years for April as the U.S. economic recovery kicked into gear and energy prices jumped higher, the Labor Department reported Wednesday. The Consumer Price Index, which measures a basket of goods as well as energy and housing costs, rose 4.2% from a year ago, compared to the Dow Jones estimate for a 3.6% increase. The monthly gain was 0.8%, against the expected 0.2%,” CNBC reports. “Excluding volatile food and energy prices, the core CPI increased 3% from the same period in 2020 and 0.9% on a monthly basis. The respective estimates were 2.3% and 0.3%.”

Fill Up If You Can: Parts of the Country Are Running Out of Gas; Governors Declare State of Emergency Over Gas Shortages

By Townhall. The Colonial Pipeline has been shut down. It was hit with ransomware by what appears to be a criminal syndicate from Russia. It got hacked. Has the company paid the ransom? It won’t say, but this 5,500-mile pipeline supplies 45 percent of all fuel to the eastern United States. So, yes, prices will spike, and shortages could be seen from Alabama north through Baltimore. And in some places, like Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina, we’re seeing gas stations closing because they have no gas (via WEAR-TV):

State agencies and area gas stations say Monday that a local terminal failing to meet certain standards is partly to blame for the gas shortage in the Pensacola area.

Channel 3 observed bags covering fuel pumps at gas stations across the Pensacola area on Monday. Several viewers have called in and reported struggles finding gas. . .

Colonial Pipeline was forced to shut down Friday after a ransomware attack. AAA says most of Florida’s gas is shipped in, so the pipeline shutdown most likely won’t affect local supplies. But it could still drive up prices.

However, the Florida Department of Agriculture said Monday afternoon that the Colonial Pipeline hack is one reason for the gas shortage, while a truck driver shortage is another.

Multiple Governors Declare State of Emergency Over Gas Shortages Amid Colonial Pipeline Outage

By The Blaze. The governors of several Eastern states have declared states of emergencies over gas shortages as the Colonial Pipeline — which supplies 45% of all fuel to the East Coast — remains shut down after being hit with a cyberattack over the weekend.

But officials say the shortages are due to panic-buying, not an actual lack of gas.

On Tuesday, Gov. Roy Cooper (D) of North Carolina, Gov. Brian Kemp (R) of Georgia, and Gov. Ralph Northam (D) of Virginia all declared states of emergency as long lines at pumps and rising gas prices hit their states amid shortages and runs on fueling stations. . .

Newsweek reported that according to “energy data collection website Gas Buddy said that five states—Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina and Virginia—collectively saw gasoline demand skyrocket more than 40 percent on Monday alone.”

On Sunday, the U.S. Department of Transportation announced a regional emergency declaration in response to the cyberattack on the Colonial Pipeline, which the FBI confirmed the next day “was a ransomware attack carried out by criminals belonging to the group known as DarkSide,” Fox Business reported. The same day a troubling national jobs report showed businesses can’t hire workers partly because politicians have risked inflation to make everyone welfare recipients in the name of “COVID relief,” Wisconsin Democrats put out a video calling for people to “show us your stimmy shimmy.” After an outcry on Twitter, the Democrat account deleted the video, but another user saved it:

The video shows people dancing about getting a “stimmy,” or stimulus check, and having “$$$ in the bank” and “$$$ in the pocket.” “Thank you POTU$,” reads one caption.

Approximately 83 percent of American tax filers were sent the latest round of “stimulus” checks Congress approved after Joe Biden took office, including tens of millions who never lost jobs in the past year of rolling government lockdowns. Couples could earn as much as $160,000 per year and still get one of the deficit-funded checks that totaled up to $1,400 per person.

Nine million net jobs were lost due to COVID shutdowns, while so far 161 million Americans have gotten checks. In addition to repeatedly sending nearly everyone checks, Congress also boosted unemployment benefits so that many Americans can currently make more money not working than by going back to work.
