House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Cali.) sparred with CNN host Wolf Blitzer Tuesday evening, calling him a “Republican apologist” during a heated exchange over the holdup of coronavirus stimulus.
Pelosi slammed Blitzer for having “no knowledge” on the details of relief proposals as he pressed her on why she wouldn’t accept a $1.8 trillion package offered by Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin — a package that is roughly $400 billion less than the relief legislation the House passed earlier this month.

Blitzer went on to quote a tweet from Rep. Ro Khanna, a fellow California Democrat, who said “people in need can’t wait until February [for the next stimulus bill]” and that the $1.8 trillion offered from the White House was “significant.”
“I don’t know why you’re always an apologist — and many of your colleagues, apologists for the Republican position,” Pelosi responded. “Ro Khanna, that’s nice. That isn’t what we’re going to do. The liberal media has another ‘we’re all morons’ moment today right out of the gate on day two of the hearings regarding the Supreme Court nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett. Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-CA), the ranking member of the Senate Judiciary Committee, wasted no time asking the judge about abortion. She asked multiple times about Roe v. Wade and Barrett refused to give a direct answer because it’s not proper for a sitting judge to give an opinion about any case that may or may not come before the Court. This has been called the Ginsburg rule. It was invoked during Justice Neil Gorsuch’s confirmation hearings when he too was attacked by the Left for his supposed views on abortion. . .
That didn’t stop a bunch of journos from mainstream outlets from tweeting about how Barrett’s answer to this question was some ‘bombshell’ development. It’s not. You all knew this was going to be the answer. Also, you people wrote endlessly about the late Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s legacy, her career, and he mark on American history. You didn’t know this was a rule or you ignored it in order to attack Barrett. Either way, you look like idiots.
Barrett refuses to give a straight answer on whether she agrees with Scalia (whom she clerked for) that Roe v. Wade was wrongly decided. Said she can't "pre-commit" to approaching a case in a particular way.

By New York Post. The man shot dead by a hired security guard during a Denver protest on Saturday was identified as a local hatter and military veteran.
Lee Keltner was shot shortly after 3:30 p.m. at a “Patriot Rally” outside the Denver Art Museum and later pronounced dead at a local hospital, The Sun reported Sunday.
“My son Lee was at the patriot rally today in Denver,” Keltner’s mother, Carol, posted on the Northeast Arkansas Tea Party Facebook group. “He was murdered because he backed the police.”
The gunman, identified as Matthew Dolloff, a hired security guard from the Pinkerton detective agency, 9News-TV confirmed.

By New York Post. The hired Pinkerton security guard accused of shooting a protester dead during a Denver rally Saturday has been identified as Matthew Robert Dolloff, according to police.
Dolloff, 30, is being held in a first-degree murder investigation in the shooting death of Lee Keltner, the Denver Police Department said on Twitter.
Police said Dolloff has not been charged but is being questioned in connection with Keltner’s caught-on-video shooting death in the courtyard of the Denver Art Museum during a “Patriot Rally” that included clashes with Black Lives Matter demonstrators.
Dolloff, a member of the Pinkerton detective agency, was hired by local news station 9News-TV to provide security during the demonstration, something the outlet said it has done for months while covering BLM protests. By New York Post. This is the moment a Colorado hat-maker was shot dead by a Pinkerton security guard amid dueling protests in Denver.
The shocking sequence of photos captured at the Saturday demonstrations show the two men approach each other, and the victim — identified in a Facebook post by his mother as Lee Keltner — raising his left hand to the other’s face.

The suspect, who was was arrested immediately following the incident, is “a private security guard with no affiliation with Antifa.” The victim has yet to be identified but appears to be associated with the conservative demonstrators, according to Post Millennial editor Ian Miles Cheong.
According to 9NEWS, “the private security guard in custody was contracted through Pinkerton by 9NEWS” because “it has been the practice of 9NEWS for a number of months to contract private security to accompany staff at protests.” A 9NEWS producer was also arrested at the scene but later released.
Update: Further investigation has determined the suspect is a private security guard with no affiliation with Antifa. Additional information will be released as it becomes available.

Video captured a man stealing absentee ballots while walking through a neighborhood in Escondido, California, a local news outlet reported.
Surveillance cameras from David Sprouse, a local resident, captured a man stealing mail from his home and houses nearby late Monday, Fox 5 San Diego reported.
“It was a younger looking man, [who] happened to come down the sidewalk. He was wearing a ball cap, face mask, gloves. He carefully opened up our mailbox and took out all of our mail,” Sprouse told Fox 5.
The thief then continued to search through the mail of additional houses, Sprouse said.
