WATCH: Biden Tells Auto Worker He’s ‘Full of S**t’ During Heated Exchange

Former Vice President Joe Biden told a worker in Detroit on Tuesday that he was “full of s**t” after the man accused Biden of wanting to “take away our guns” if he is elected president.

The spat, caught on video by reporters accompanying Biden to an under-construction plant in Michigan, quickly caught fire on social media, where both supporters and detractors of the Democratic frontrunner gleefully cheered and jeered the encounter.

In the video, Biden is confronted by a hard hat-wearing worker who accused the former vice president of “actively trying to diminish our Second Amendment right and take away our guns,” to which Biden immediately shot back, “You’re full of s**t.”

WATCH: A Confused Joe Biden Says ‘We Can Only Re-Elect Donald Trump’; Why Does Biden Need a Sit-Down Debate?

By Townhall. . .The current Democratic frontrunner fell and tripped repeatedly over his words as he stumbled through a campaign speech in Missouri on Saturday. The 77-year-old former vice president made a series of gaffes and incoherent statements as he appeared to lose his train of thought. At one point, he even mispronounced his own name.

“… We cannot get re-elect, we cannot win this re-election, excuse me. We can only re-elect Donald Trump,” Biden said to his bewildered supporters. The candidate himself seemed caught off guard by his inability to keep his train of thought.

(Townhall UPDATE: “A fuller version of Biden’s comments show the candidate was attempting to argue that infighting within the Democratic Party will result in the re-election of President Trump, but Biden had difficultly making his point after stumbling over his words.”)

At the same event, Biden referred to himself as an “Obiden Bama Democrat.”

Many people have questioned Joe Biden’s mental fitness as he campaigns for the highest political office in the country. In the past few weeks alone, the candidate declared repeatedly that he was running for the U.S. Senate, confused which state he was in, said there were 150 million gun deaths in America since 2007, called Super Tuesday “Super Thursday,” and announced that he would have the ability as president to appoint the first African American woman to the United States Senate. Biden Pushes for Sit-Down Debate Format Amid Mounting Health-Related Concerns, Report Says

By Fox News. Bernie Sanders’ campaign is accusing Joe Biden of pushing for a sit-down format at the March 15 presidential primary debate in Phoenix, according to a new report that highlights mounting concerns over the 77-year-old former vice president’s stamina and cognitive ability.

Sanders’ team raised the alarm about the sit-down format during a Friday call with CNN, which is set to moderate the debate along with the Democratic National Committee (DNC), Politico reported this weekend. All previous primary debates this cycle have required candidates to stand at podiums; and during his one-on-one debates with Hillary Clinton in 2016, Sanders stood alongside her.

“Why does Joe Biden not want to stand toe-to-toe with Sen. Sanders on the debate stage March 15 and have an opportunity to defend his record and articulate his vision for the future?” senior Sanders advisor Jeff Weaver told the outlet.

The Biden campaign denied it had anything to do with the proposed new format. Biden has stood for each of the previous debates, but the upcoming one-on-one with Sanders is expected to be a more grueling and taxing event. (Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii, will be excluded from the debate under new DNC rules requiring that each candidate have received a large number of delegates.) Bernie Sanders: ‘What Happened and Existed in the Soviet Union Was Not Socialism’ (VIDEO)

Independent Vermont Sen. and presidential candidate Bernie Sanders said Monday that “what happened and existed” in the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics was not socialism.

During a Fox News town hall with Bret Baier and Martha MacCallum, a woman named Margaret asked Bernie what the difference is between his brand of “democratic socialism” and the socialism of the USSR.

“As someone from Russia, a country that was greatly impacted by the negative effects of socialism, what assurances can you offer myself and other people impacted by socialism that democratic socialism will not have the same effects?”

Bernie responded by telling her that “what happened and existed in the Soviet Union was not socialism, it was authoritarian communism” and denounced communism as being “marked by totalitarianism.” . . .

“When we talk about democratic socialism, Margaret, I’m talking about Finland, I’m talking about Denmark, I’m talking about Sweden, I’m talking about countries all over the world that have used their government to try to improve life for working families, not just the people on top.”

WATCH: Top Expert Assesses Risk and Trajectory of Coronavirus ‘Epidemic,’ Advises Major Steps to Curb Spread

For weeks, I have been an ardent opponent of Coronavirus panic, while cautioning that the disease is quite serious and should treated as such. It’s hard to argue against the proposition that we are experiencing a worldwide escalation — as a handful of members of Congress are in precautionary self-imposed quarantine (prompting additional concerns), confirmed cases are spiking globally, and market reaction has been so negative that the New York Stock Exchange halted trading. One of the foremost experts whose analysis has been solid, serious and honest is Dr. Scott Gottlieb, the former commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration. He served in the Trump administration. His Twitter threads have been extremely measured and informative, including his latest on Saturday, which strongly suggested that the situation was deteriorating:

Firm Linked to Hunter Biden and Burisma Lobbied for Ukrainian Group Accused of Smearing Anti-Corruption Organization (VIDEO)

A Democratic consulting firm linked to Hunter Biden and Burisma Holdings registered to lobby in 2017 for a Ukrainian organization that has been accused of smearing an anti-corruption group in the eastern European country, according to government records.

Blue Star Strategies, which was co-founded by two veterans of the Clinton administration, registered to lobby in September 2017 for National Interest of Ukraine (NIU), a shadowy organization linked to the People’s Front, a political party that promotes Ukrainian nationalism.

Daria Kaleniuk, the executive director of the Anti-Corruption Action Center, or AnTac, has recently alleged that NIU hired Blue Star Strategies to “discredit” her group. . .

In one of several odd twists involving Ukraine-related matters, Joe Biden’s presidential campaign cited Kaleniuk in a video supporting the former vice president against allegations leveled by Trump allies that he improperly intervened to help Burisma Holdings on behalf of his son.

WATCH: Journalists Spread Fake News About Coronavirus and Trump… Again

By Daily Caller. Journalists used Twitter to spread fake news about President Donald Trump and the coronavirus, falsely reporting that he suggested it was okay to go to work if you have the illness.

Trump’s statement came during a Wednesday interview with Fox News’ Sean Hannity. Trump said that many people with the coronavirus could have a mild form of it. He added that many would “get better just by, you know, sitting around and even going to work. Some of them go to work, but they get better.”

Huffpost wrote an article about the comments and included a viral tweet from Matt Rogers, the chief strategist of Politidope, Inc., a for-profit social impact organization.

Rogers’s tweet included a clip of Trump speaking about the virus. He claimed that the president was “telling the country it’s okay to go to work with Coronavirus.” The clip shows Trump saying that people do go to work, not instructing them to go to work. . .

MSNBC host Chris Hayes used Rogers’s viral tweet as well. He tweeted Roger’s comments and warned people not to go to work with coronavirus. Bob Cesca, director and political commentator, also doubled down on the claim using Roger’s tweet.

Trump Says He Still Has to Shake Hands, Despite Coronavirus Concerns

By NPR. President Trump, a self-professed germophobe, said Thursday night that despite concerns over transmitting the coronavirus, he will continue to shake hands with people.

At a town hall meeting in Scranton, Penn., televised by Fox, Trump was asked if he has made any changes to his habits since the outbreak.

Trump responded that “if there was ever a time where you convince people not to shake hands this could be it.” But Trump went on, “you can’t be a politician and not shake hands.”

In fact, health experts say shaking hands is a practice best avoided as it can easily transmit viruses from one person to the next. (Read more from “Trump Says He Still Has to Shake Hands, Despite Coronavirus Concerns” HERE)

WATCH: Bill Clinton Finally Explains Why He Had an Affair With Monica Lewinsky—and It’s as Lame as You’d Expect

If you ever wanted to know exactly why Bill Clinton had an affair with White House intern Monica Lewinsky, he’s got an explanation for you now.

The 42nd president reveals in the forthcoming Hulu documentary “Hillary” that he had the affair because it helped to “manage my anxieties,” resulting from the pressures of the presidency. His affair, he claims, was a distraction from those pressures.

“You feel like you’re staggering around, you’ve been in a 15-round prize fight that was extended to 30 rounds and here’s something that will take your mind off it for a while, that’s what happens,” he said. “Because there, whatever life — not just me. Everybody’s life has pressures and disappointments, terrors, fears of whatever. Things I did to manage my anxieties for years. I’m a different, totally different person than I was, a lot of that stuff 20 years ago,” he said.

“What I did was bad but it wasn’t like: how can I think about the most stupid thing I could and do it,” he added. “It’s not a defense, it’s an explanation. I feel awful.”

WATCH: Biden Wants to Put Beto in Charge of Gun Control?

Last night, Allahpundit speculated that if Biden had cut a deal with Pete Buttigieg to get him to step aside before today’s cascade of delegates being awarded, it would probably involve making him the head of Housing and Urban Development. In terms of the way business normally gets done in the swamp, that’s not a bad bet. After all, it’s the department where you can stick almost anyone and they won’t wind up doing too much damage even if they majorly mess up.

But what about Beto O’Rourke? For some reason, he was on the stage last night endorsing Uncle Joe as well. Does he get some sort of consolation prize for hopping on the “moderate” bandwagon and helping to defeat Bernie Sanders? When the Big Reveal arrived last night, Biden offered a hint as to what the future may hold for the failed Senate and presidential candidate. O’Rourke will “take care of the gun problem” in the country.

What does that even mean? Gun control is a law enforcement issue. Could Biden actually be considering putting O’Rourke in as Attorney General? Looking over his resume, you will find that Beto has just about the least qualifications imaginable for such a position. He was an English major in college and worked a series of what were basically odd jobs before becoming a perennial candidate for public office. Even in Congress, none of the committees he sat on had anything to do with gun control or any other law enforcement activities. In reality, the sum total of O’Rourke’s involvement with the law was being arrested for burglary and fleeing the scene of his DUI accident.

WATCH: Mike Bloomberg INSISTS He Would’ve Beaten President Trump; Inside Bloomberg’s Half-Billion-Dollar Belly Flop

By The Blaze. Failed Democratic presidential candidate Mike Bloomberg gave up on his White House bid Wednesday after a dismal showing on Super Tuesday, but the former New York mayor still believes he “would’ve beaten [President] Donald Trump in November” if only he could have won his party’s nomination. . .

During his farewell speech, Bloomberg told an audience of supporters, “This really is the best, most creative, most hardworking campaign team ever assembled. And I have to say, there is no doubt in my mind we would’ve beaten Donald Trump in November.”

Bloomberg added, “And you know who else knows that? Donald Trump. He’s been scared stiff of us and for good reason.”

According to NPR, Mr. Bloomberg, a billionaire, ran “the most expensive self-funded campaign ever” in his pursuit of the Oval Office, shelling out more than $500 million just in advertising ahead of Super Tuesday. But his big spending did not pay off — Bloomberg failed to win a single state on Tuesday, only securing U.S. territory American Samoa. Inside Bloomberg’s Half-Billion-Dollar Belly Flop

By Politico. Mike Bloomberg left the West Palm Beach ballroom where his campaign held an upbeat Super Tuesday party feeling deflated but resolute. He knew the results coming in from across the country looked increasingly grim. But he wanted to assess the final count in the light of day before deciding whether to end his short-lived bid for the White House. . .

Bloomberg started with a record-breaking ad buy of $34 million. The blitz was aimed at attracting African-American and Latino voters, two demographic groups key to winning the nomination. It was his means of catching up with those at the top of the Democratic ticket and for a while, polls showed that it may have worked in his favor: By the end of January,he polled in double digits, just behind Elizabeth Warren. By mid-February, he was the top choice among 20 percent of black voters.

He spent nearly $200 million in Super Tuesday states, including more than $30 million in the South, but he crossed the 15 percent threshold in just two Southern states.

He reasoned that he could skip the first four voting states in favor of delegate-rich ones that vote on Super Tuesday. In recent weeks, at least two high-ranking campaign advisers have privately questioned his decision not to compete in South Carolina, where they believe he could have done well.
