WATCH: President Trump UNLOADS on the New York Times

Over the weekend, the New York Times published an excerpt from a new book about Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh, where he is accused of sexual misconduct similar to the allegations made by Deborah Ramirez during his confirmation hearings. The Times ended up making a correction on Sunday saying exculpatory information was not included in the excerpt. Specifically, the excerpt failed to mention that the female student in question didn’t want to be interviewed and her friends said she didn’t recall the incident.

During a Q&A with reporters, President Donald Trump was asked about the Times’ decision to run the excerpt without including that bit of information.

“Do you think the New York Times should fire the individuals responsible for claiming that [Supreme Court Justice Brett] Kavanaugh committed sexual misconduct without including exculpatory information?” the Daily Caller’s Amber Athey asked Trump. . .

“The New York Times made another terrible mistake. It’s a shame that a thing like that can happen. I see that they’re making a big correction today. They just announced there’s a correction. But to do that about a Supreme Court justice is a terrible thing I think,” Trump replied. “I think false accusation, whatever happened with the New York Times, I mean, I can tell you personally, they never check. They never do– we used to have a thing called fact checking. They don’t do fact checking anymore. They used to call and say, ‘What about this? What about that?'”

“How can they do a thing like that and destroy someone’s life?” Trump asked. “I mean, they’re destroying lives and it’s fake news, fake news.”

WATCH: Trump’s Awesome Entrance With the Newest Presidential Medal of Freedom Recipient

President Donald J. Trump knows a winner when he sees one. So, for the president’s choice for the 2019 Medal of Freedom recipient, it was a no brainer. . .

Mariano Rivera, former Major League Baseball New York Yankees closer, five-time World Series champion, and the first person unanimously elected to the MLB Hall of Fame, was awarded the nation’s highest civilian honor on Monday. . .

Rivera was born in Panama City, Panama. He became a United States citizen in October 2015. Baseball fans across America recognize Metallica’s song, Enter Sandman, as Rivera’s walkout song that played each time he took the mound. On Monday, the president incorporated this iconic anthem into the Presidential Medal of Freedom ceremony.

Rivera is a devout Christian. In his 2019 Hall of Fame acceptance speech, he professed his faith and thanked Jesus Christ for talent.

“I want to start this by thanking my good Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ,” Rivera said in January, “for giving me the talent and the blessing, and opening doors I could never close, that no man could close. He has given us a beautiful day today, and it’s amazing. So thank You Lord for everything You have done in my life.” (Read more from “Trump’s Awesome Entrance With the Newest Presidential Medal of Freedom Recipient” HERE)

Edward Snowden Says He Will Return to United States on One Condition

Controversial whistleblower Edward Snowden, living in exile in Russia, said Monday he would like to return to the United States — but only if he can get a fair jury trial.

“That is the ultimate goal, but if I’m going to spend the rest of my life in prison then my one, bottom-line demand that we all have to agree to is that at least I get a fair trial,” Snowden said Monday on “CBS This Morning.”

Snowden told CBS’ morning show that the U.S. government has “refused” to guarantee a fair trial. . .

Snowden fired back: “I’m not different. Again, I’m not asking for a parade. I’m not asking for a pardon. I’m not asking for a pass. What I’m asking for is a fair trial.”

Snowden explained to the “CBS This Morning” panel that a jury would consider whether his actions were lawful or unlawful, as opposed to right or wrong. (Read more from “Edward Snowden Says He Will Return to United States on One Condition” HERE)

WATCH: Beto Unleashes Foul-Mouthed Rant on Buttigieg Over Gun Control

Beto O’Rourke launched an expletive-fueled defense of his call Sunday to ban assault-style weapons and impose mandatory buybacks of AR-15s and AK-47s while also pushing back at critics — including fellow 2020 Democrat Pete Buttigieg.

During last Thursday’s presidential debate, the former Texas congressman said, “Hell yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47, and we’re not going to allow it to be used against your fellow Americans anymore.” Three days later, O’Rourke appeared on NBC News’ “Meet the Press,” where host Chuck Todd pointed out that there was “a lot of hand-wringing” about the presidential contender’s full-throated call on national TV for confiscating such rifles.

As O’Rourke had put the issue of gun violence at the center of his campaign effort, some fellow Democrats chastised him and were concerned that his statements may have made things harder for gun control supporters as they negotiate with President Trump on legislation to respond to this summer’s mass shootings. . .

Buttigieg, the mayor of South Bend, Indiana, appeared on CNN’s “State of the Union” and agreed with Sen. Chris Coons, D-Del., saying the clip of the former O’Rourke’s statement about AR-15s and AK-47s “will be played for years at Second Amendment rallies with organizations that try to scare people by saying Democrats are coming for your guns.” . . .

[Beto] later tweeted, “When candidates say, ‘At least Donald Trump and Mitch McConnell are pretending to be interested,’ sh–, that is not enough. Neither is poll-testing your message. Gun violence is a life or death issue—and we have to represent the bold ideas of people all over the country.”

Delaware 2017: Joe Biden Recounts Nearly Wrapping a Chain Around a Gang Leader Named Corn Pop’s Head (VIDEO)

Joe Biden told a harrowing story during an event in 2017 about facing down a razor-wielding gang leader named Corn Pop in his youth by threatening to “wrap” a chain around the man’s head. The incident came back into the spotlight over the weekend when footage of Biden’s remarks began circulating social media.

The former vice president, who has come under scrutiny in recent weeks for embellishing portions of his personal and political life, told the story when being honored with having a community pool named after him in a Wilmington, Delaware, historically black neighborhood. Biden had reportedly been the only white lifeguard at the pool during the early 1960s when segregation was still in effect.

The event started with Biden discussing how his time as a lifeguard had opened his eyes about racial injustice and privilege. It, however, quickly took a strange turn when Biden, flanked by children from the local community, decided to recount a nearly violent altercation he had at the pool with a misbehaving swimmer.

“Corn Pop was a bad dude, and he ran a bunch of bad boys. Back in those days, to show how things have changed … if you used pomade in your hair, you had to wear a bathing cap,” Biden said. “He was up on the board and wouldn’t listen to me, so I said ‘Hey, Esther, you, off the board or I’ll come up and drag you off.’”

Corn Pop, according to the former vice president, did not take kindly to being called “Esther” — an “emasculating” reference to the 1950s swimmer Esther Williams, as the Washington Post noted — and promised to “meet” him outside. Biden realized he had to take Corn Pop seriously when he purportedly saw the gang leader waiting around for him with three other guys carrying straight razors.

Former NFL Player Accused of Vandalizing His Own Business With ‘MAGA’ and Racist Slurs

A former NFL player has been arrested in Georgia for vandalizing his own business with racist slurs and the phrase “MAGA,” to make it appear as if Trump supporters and racists attacked him.

Former Washington Redskins tackle Edawn Coughman, 31, was arrested in Gwinnett County, Georgia, on September 11 after someone reported the vandalism of his small restaurant.

Coughman owns the Create and Bake pizza restaurant and Coughman’s Creamery in Lawrence, an establishment that police found damaged after a citizen reported that the establishment was being broken into and deface, according to 11 Alive.

When police arrived, they observed Coughman driving away from the place in a black Chevy Silverado. When they pulled him over, officers discovered a number of flatscreen TVs still on brackets in the truck’s bed. The TVs appeared to have been ripped from the walls of the restaurant.

Meanwhile, other officers discovered that Coughman’s establishment had been seriously vandalized with “MAGA” spray painted on the walls several times along with racial epithets.

WATCH: Omar Suggests She Was a VICTIM of 9/11

Far-left Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) refused to acknowledge on Sunday that her remarks trivializing the September 11, 2001, Islamic terrorist attacks that killed thousands of innocent Americans were offensive and went so far as to suggest that she, herself, was a victim of the attack.

Omar, appearing on CBS News’ “Face The Nation” with host Margaret Brennan, was asked by Brennan about her description of the terrorist attacks as “some people did something.” . . .

Omar danced around the question, refusing to answer it while suggesting that she was a victim of 9/11: “I mean so, 9/11 was an attack on all Americans. It was an attack on all of us. And I certainly could not understand the weight of the pain that the victims of the- the families of 9/11 must feel.”

“But I think it is really important for us to make sure that we are not forgetting, right, the aftermath of what happened after 9/11,” Omar continued. “Many Americans found themselves now having their civil rights stripped from them. And so what I was speaking to was the fact that as a Muslim, not only was I suffering as an American who was attacked on that day, but the next day I woke up as my fellow Americans were now treating me a suspect.”

WATCH: Outrageous BBC Kids’ Series Teaches Children That There Are More Than 100 Genders

A new video series from the BBC teaches children that there are more than 100 gender identities. . .

One particular episode — “Understanding Sexual and Gender Identities” — features a discussion on what gender is. According to the BBC, gender is not biological assignment, it is “who you are inside.”

“There are so many gender identities,” one teacher told the young children. “So we know we’ve got male and female, but there are over 100, if not more, gender identities now.”

The teacher added, “You’ve got some people who might call themselves ‘gender queer,’ who are just like, ‘I don’t really want to be anything in particular, so I’m just going to be me.'”

Leo Lardie, a trans activist who was born female but is now a man, told the children of her transition, including bits about her own genitalia. She insisted that the only way she could live a happy and healthy life was by being “true about who I was, and let other people in on this.”

Beto’s Outrageous Claim: El Paso Shooter Was Inspired by Trump to Kill People (VIDEO)

Last night’s Democratic debate was a doozy. It’s becoming routine: the spewing of left-wing talking points, the bashing of Trump, the occasional knifing of one candidate by another—rinse and repeat. Joe Biden was actually aggressive in the first half; Julian Castro also delivered some zings at Biden and South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg. Yet, Robert Francis O’Rourke decided to go all-in on desperation tactics, where he blamed President Donald Trump for the El Paso shooting. . .

The first is just how dangerous Donald Trump is – the cost and the consequence of his presidency. A racism and violence that had long been a part of America was welcomed out into the open and directed to my hometown of El Paso, Texas, where 22 people were killed, dozens more grievously injured by a man carrying a weapon who should never have been able to buy in the first place – inspired to kill by our president.

“The second is how insufficient our politics is to meet the threat that we have right now. The bitterness, the pettiness, the smallness of the moment, the incentives to attack one another and try to make differences without distinctions, mountains out of mole hills. We have to be bigger. We have to see clearly, we have to speak honestly and we have to act decisively. That’s what I want to do for you as president of the United States. Thank you.”

Beto’s Coming for Your Guns: ‘Hell Yes, We’re Going to Take Your AR-15’

By Townhall. Robert “Beto” O’Rourke pledged to go after AR-15s and AK-47s during Thursday’s Democratic debate in Houston, Texas.

ABC’s David Muir asked O’Rourke if he stood by his proposal for a mandatory buyback program, noting that many were equating it to gun confiscation. . .

He continued: “When we see that being used against children, and in Odessa, I met the mother of a 15-year-old girl who was shot by an AR-15, and that mother watched her bleed to death over the course of an hour because so many other people were shot by that AR-15 in Odessa and Midland, there weren’t enough ambulances to get to them in time, hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47. We’re not going to allow it to be used against our fellow Americans anymore.”

O’Rourke’s Debate-Stage Vow: ‘Hell Yes, We’re Going to Take Your AR-15’

By Fox News. Arguing for a mandatory buyback of assault weapons, Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke declared during Thursday night’s presidential debate, “Hell yes, we are going to take your AR-15, AK-47.”

The line from the former congressman from Texas received loud applause from the audience at the third-round debate, which was held in Houston. . .

In the wake of multiple deadly mass shootings last month, including two in Texas, many of the Dem candidates stepped up their calls for the federal government to start buying back assault-style weapons from owners – with some of the White House hopefuls urging mandatory buybacks.

O’Rourke was among the candidates to recently declare, “Americans who own AR-15s and AK-47s will have to sell their assault weapons.”

O’Rourke’s campaign quickly took to Twitter to fundraiser off the debate moment. Showing the picture of an assault weapon, the campaign tweeted “Beto has a plan for that.”
