SERIOUSLY DISTURBING: Ilhan Omar’s District Is ‘Terrorist Recruitment Capital of the U.S.’

By Daily Wire. Minnesota’s 5th Congressional District, represented by Rep. Ilhan Omar (D), is the terrorist recruitment capitol of the United States, according to FBI statistics.

FOX News reports that “more men and boys from a Somali American community in Minneapolis have joined – or attempted to join – a foreign terrorist organization over the last 12 years than any other jurisdiction in the country.”

“FBI stats show 45 Somalis left to join the ranks of either the Somalia-based Islamic insurgency al-Shabab, or the Iraq- and Syria-based ISIS combined,” Fox News continued. “And as of 2018, a dozen more had been arrested with the intention of leaving to support ISIS. Both numbers are far higher than those of alleged terrorist wannabes who left or attempted to leave the country from other areas in the country where Muslim refugees have been resettled.”

As FOX notes, “the insular ethnic community in Minnesota offers a rich recruiting ground” for Islamic terrorism as the Somali population in the Minneapolis community — which is located in Omar’s district — is nearly 100,000.

“We are very conscious that there may still be fertile ground for that, and that is could re-start at any time,” one federal official told Fox News. “Based on historical experience, we had (an uptick) in 2007 and 2008 going for al-Shabab, then a lull. Then, as ISIS came back, we saw a whole bunch of people no longer headed for Somalia. They were headed for Iraq and Syria. That really caught us off-guard, we didn’t see that coming. It didn’t make sense to us. We understood why kids were going back to Somalia, but going to Syria was another we issue.”

Ilhan Omar takes her turn in the spotlight

By The Guardian. This week, Omar was forced to apologize for comments that Democratic leaders said contained “antisemitic tropes and prejudicial accusations”. Days later, her intense grilling of Elliott Abrams, a Trump official and longtime establishment figure, sparked headlines once again. . .

Since her ascent to Congress, Omar’s positions on Israel, one of America’s closest allies, have stirred controversy for breaking with longstanding tradition in Washington.

Omar has backed the Boycott, Divestment and Sanction movement, or BDS, which is designed to pressure Israel into ending the occupation of the West Bank. She has said she “almost chuckle[s]” when US politicians uphold Israel as a democratic example. But a recent tweet suggesting US support for Israel is motivated by political donations invited backlash from both parties. . .

On Friday, Omar gave her first interview since the controversy, telling her hometown newspaper, the Star-Tribune of Minneapolis: “I know what intolerance looks like.”

She added: “The thing that has been hurtful about this whole process for me is knowing that I could be someone who could use language that causes hurt to others.” (Read more from “Ilhan Omar takes her turn in the spotlight” HERE)

WATCH: Beto Calls for Tearing Down Border Walls, Ends up Helping Make Conservative Case for the Wall

On Thursday, failed senatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke declared emphatically that he not only opposes Trump’s call to build a wall, he wants all existing border fences torn down, including outside his home town of El Paso. But in his explanation for why he’s so adamantly opposed to the wall, the presidential hopeful ended up making several points that align with the conservative case for building the wall.

O’Rourke was asked by MSNBC’s Chris Hayes, “If you could, would you take the wall down now? Knock it down?”

As Hayes made clear, the question was prompted by a post by Texas Republican Congressman Dan Crenshaw directed at O’Rourke pointing out the effectiveness of border fences: “[Beto O’Rourke] should answer a simple question tonight with respect to the border debate: If you could snap your fingers and make El Paso’s border wall disappear, would you?” wrote Crenshaw, adding: “Because this DHS graph shows that when the wall was built, illegal crossings dropped significantly.” . . .

If he had stopped there, he might’ve been okay; instead, he continued — and ended up accidentally making the case for those who argue that walls do in fact work: “And it has pushed migrants and asylum seekers and refugees to the most inhospitable, the most hostile stretches of the U.S.-Mexico border, ensuring their suffering and death.”

WATCH: Pelosi Says a Democratic President Will Declare a National Emergency on This Issue

After President Donald Trump declared his national emergency Thursday afternoon, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) had a warning for Republicans: a Democratic president can declare a national emergency on gun violence. Because today marked the one year anniversary of the tragic shooting in Parkland, Florida, Pelosi used the opportunity to slam Trump’s decision to declare an emergency on the border but not for gun violence.

. . .

If the president declares a national emergency on gun violence, then what’s the solution? Universal background checks? High capacity magazine ban? An assault weapons ban? Implementing red flag law? A national registry? Gun confiscation?

At least when Trump talked about declaring a national emergency at the border we knew what the end goal was: a border wall to keep out illegal aliens. With a “gun violence” declaration, there’s no clear goal or endgame. And not only that, but this would be a direct assault on the Second Amendment. Call It What It Is: Andrew McCabe Plotted a Coup to Overturn Results of the Election

Fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe’s book tour began with a “60 minutes” interview this week in which he confirmed that he commenced an effort to remove President Trump from office, citing his concerns with the president’s supposed ties to Russia, for which no evidence has ever surfaced.

Citing several thoroughly debunked Russian collusion narratives, McCabe, under the impression that President Trump was somehow compromised as commander in chief, attempted to gather votes inside the administration to invoke the 25th Amendment to remove the president from office.

In a “60 minutes” preview clip, McCabe forwarded the baseless conspiracy theory that President Trump won the election with the assistance of the Kremlin.

“I was speaking to the man who had just run for the presidency and won the election for the presidency. And who might have done so with the aid of the government of Russia, our most formidable adversary on the world stage,” McCabe said during the interview. “And that was something that troubled me greatly.”

Putting aside that Russia is not “our most formidable adversary” (it’s China, by a mile), to date, not a single piece of evidence has emerged that the “Russia case” was anything but a complete hoax based on opposition research sourced to anonymous Russians that was paid for by the Hillary Clinton campaign.

“I wanted to make sure that our case was on solid ground and if somebody came in behind me and closed it and tried to walk away from it, they would not be able to do that without creating a record of why they made that decision,” McCabe continued.

Unfortunately for McCabe, there was no “solid ground” to be found. The Russia investigation came up entirely empty, and the FBI bureaucrats’ leak-and-smear campaigns were not enough to oust the duly elected president through other means.

And the president was not even behind McCabe’s ultimate removal from his post. The former FBI deputy director was fired after a Department of Justice internal probe found that he committed gross misconduct on multiple occasions. The devastating report found that McCabe lied under oath several times. That wasn’t all. He also attempted to sabotage his own FBI colleagues for his personal leaks to the media. McCabe later excused his activity, claiming his lies under oath were a result of the “chaos inside the FBI under siege from [President] Trump and his allies.” Currently, McCabe is under a Department of Justice-authorized grand jury investigation.

Of course, McCabe’s long list of alleged criminal activities and his extreme credibility problem have been almost entirely overlooked in the legacy media stories promoting his “60 Minutes” interview. The same applies to the reality that McCabe’s Russia probe never amounted to anything.

Andrew McCabe was far from the only FBI official to disgrace himself. Other now-fired FBI officials, such as James Comey and Peter Strzok, helped transform the FBI into a political weapon to sabotage the president through the baseless Trump-Russia investigation. There are still only two primary explanations for their conduct. The first is they were simply incompetent and commenced a probe without sufficient nonpartisan evidence. The second and more likely explanation is that McCabe and his cohorts were on a hell-bent quest to overturn the results of the election. Call it what it was: a soft coup attempt. Luckily for our republic, the coup attempt failed. (For more from the author of “Call It What It Is: Andrew McCabe Plotted a Coup to Overturn Results of the Election” please click HERE)

Florida Family Is Raising a Gender-Neutral ‘Theyby’

By The Blaze. A Florida family is opting to raise their child, Sparrow, as “gender-neutral,” and calling the child a “theyby.”

According to WTSP-TV, Ari Dennis — Sparrow’s mom — believes that her child’s genitals don’t determine her child’s gender.

“We did not assign a sex at birth, which means when they were born, they had genitals, we know what they are, we just chose to acknowledge that those genitals don’t indicate anything about gender,” Dennis explained.

Dennis said that Sparrow, who is 11 months old, will be able to decide his or her gender when he or she is older, and even noted that her child’s birth certificate says “unknown” under “sex.”

Dennis told WTSP that she was inspired to raise her child as a gender-neutral baby after their older child “discovered gender around the age of four.” (Read more from “Florida Family Is Raising a Gender-Neutral ‘Theyby'” HERE)

Raising Sparrow: Not a Boy or a Girl. This Florida Family Is Raising a Gender-Neutral ‘Theyby’

By 10 News. Instead of “boy” or “girl”, gender neutral babies are known as “theybies”. “Theybies” refer to babies without a known sex.

This parenting philosophy means only the parents and trusted caregivers know the baby’s anatomy. They believe the gender part comes later and is left up to the child. Ari Dennis is one of those parents. . .

Sparrow’s family isn’t alone. A closed Facebook group called “Parenting Theybies” has roughly 350 members. (Read more from “Raising Sparrow: Not a Boy or a Girl. This Florida Family Is Raising a Gender-Neutral ‘Theyby'” HERE)

Watch: Ilhan Omar Explodes at CNN Reporter

Anti-Semitic Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) snapped at a CNN reporter on Wednesday, bridling under increasing media scrutiny over her anti-Semitic beliefs.

CNN’s Manu Raju — who has arguably done the best job of tracking down Omar and asking her tough questions — approached her and asked her about President Donald Trump’s call for her to resign from Congress.

“The president said that you should resign and the vice president said you should be held accountable for your views,” Raju said to Omar. “Can you respond to that?”

. . .Raju later tried to question Omar over her response to President Trump, when she tweeted: “Hi @realDonaldTrump, You have trafficked in hate your whole life—against Jews, Muslims, Indigenous, immigrants, black people and more. I learned from people impacted by my words. When will you?”

“Are you serious?” Omar asked. “What is wrong with you?”

Trump Breaks His Silence on Proposed Border Deal

President Donald Trump said Tuesday he was not “happy” with the border deal negotiated by bipartisan committees in the House and Senate to fund border security and avert a government shutdown.

“Am I happy at first glance? I just got to see it. The answer is no, I’m not. I’m not happy,” Trump told reporters in the White House just before a Cabinet meeting. But he added that he is “thrilled” with the direction his administration is going, “because we’re supplementing things, and moving things around, and we’re doing things that are fantastic and taking from far less, really from far less important areas.”

Congress must reach a deal to fund the government by Friday, or else a second government shutdown of this year will be triggered. A bipartisan group of lawmakers assigned to committees in the House and the Senate to draft a deal behind closed doors presented their agreement Tuesday. The proposed deal would give Trump far less than the $5.7 billion he requested to build a wall, and it would specifically prohibit the construction of concrete barriers. Instead, the deal would reportedly appropriate $1.375 billion for physical barriers and the construction of 55 miles of fencing, while also reducing the number of overall ICE detention beds from 49,057 to 40,520. Under this deal, the wall would not be built and Congress would limit the ability of immigration enforcement to enforce the law.

President Trump did not say he would reject the deal. He did predict that the government would not shut down and insisted that his administration would finish construction of the wall.

“The bottom line is we’re building a lot of wall,” Trump said.

It is unclear how Trump intends to finish the wall. His comment about “moving things around” seems to echo a Politico report from Monday night that the White House is considering an executive order to shift money from Army Corps of Engineers’ flood projects and disaster relief to fund construction of the wall. Trump also reiterated his right to declare a national emergency to fund the wall, though he did not definitively say whether he would do so. Conservatives Balk at GOP Border Deal ‘Cave’ to Keep Government Open

After Republicans and Democrats reached an agreement in principle on border security, details of the bipartisan budget deal to keep the government open Friday have begun to surface, and conservatives are calling it a “cave.”

“We’ve had a good evening. We’ve reached an agreement in principle between us on the Homeland Security and the other six bills,” Sen. Richard Shelby, R-Ala., told reporters Monday night. According to The Hill, the budget deal will include $1.375 billion for physical barriers and 55 new miles of fencing, but specifically prohibits the construction of concrete wall. Democrats reportedly gave up on their demand to cap the number of ICE detention beds in the interior of the country to limit the number of illegal immigrants the Trump administration could detain and force law enforcement to focus on the worst violent criminals. But the overall cap on detention beds will drop, according to Washington Post reporter Erica Werner.

These are the tentative details, the AP reports. The deal will be officially released Tuesday after congressional aides finish writing the legislation behind closed doors. But the compromise is already meeting opposition from influential conservatives.

“Any Republican that supports this garbage compromise, you will have to explain,” Fox News host Sean Hannity said Monday on his evening program.

Other prominent conservative personalities have called the details a “cave.”

And the leaders of the conservative House Freedom Caucus are critical of the deal as well.

So what will President Trump do with this deal as he’s briefed on it today? If his Monday night rally is any indication, he may intend to go ahead to build the wall with or without Congress.

“As I was walking up to this stage, I was told, ‘Progress is being made with this committee.’ Just so you know, we’re building the wall anyway,” Trump said in El Paso, Texas.

That could mean Trump intends to use the National Emergencies Act to requisition the funding for the wall from the Defense Department. Or, as White House acting chief of staff Mick Mulvaney is pushing, the president can use an executive order to redirect funds from different government accounts toward a border wall. Both actions are likely to be challenged in court. (For more from the author of “Conservatives Balk at GOP Border Deal ‘Cave’ to Keep Government Open” please click HERE)

Photo of ‘the View’ Co-Host Joy Behar Dressed as a ‘Beautiful African Woman’ Resurfaces

A long forgotten video clip from ABC’s “The View” resurfaced on Wednesday that showed co-host Joy Behar trying to explain a Halloween costume from when she was younger.

The clip was shared by The Wrap media editor Jon Levine. Behar was seen discussing a New York Times op-ed about the resurgence of curly hair during the show in 2016. Behar showed her colleagues and the audience a picture of herself with curly hair when she was 29 years old.

The co-hosts appeared surprised by her drastically different look. Raven-Symoné, a former co-host, asked, “Joy, are you black?”

. . .

Behar explained that the picture was taken at a Halloween party where she dressed up as a “beautiful African woman” and stressed that it was her actual hair. . .

The video resurfaced as Democrats in Virginia face intense scrutiny over their use of blackface decades ago. On Friday, Governor Ralph Northam offered an apology after a photograph emerged on his medical school yearbook page that featured a man in blackface and another in a KKK robe. He reversed course the next day, claiming he wasn’t in that photo but did admit to wearing blackface when dressing up as Michael Jackson for a costume contest.
