There’s a Video Going Around of Cruz Allegedly Bribing a Delegate. Here’s the Real Story

6236460755_af70e60869_b (1)Ted Cruz‘s campaign refuted a video purporting to show the Texas senator passing money to a Republican delegate at a campaign event . . .

The video surfaced on Reddit Friday morning, and claimed to catch Cruz trying to conceal “cash under a flyer” while handing it to a man standing with his face off-screen.

“Cruz has the money, fails to slip it,” the video text reads, before showing Cruz pass what appears to be a currency note to the man. The video, created by YouTube user Neil Turner, claims the man is a delegate, but does not give his name or say when or where the video was shot.

“The ‘delegate’ is Bruce Redden, a Cruz staffer, collecting things that people hand Ted Cruz as he shakes hands, signs books, and takes pictures after every event,” Phillips told TheDC. “The money is a $5 donation that a supporter gave to their small child to hand to the senator, along with a picture the child drew.” (Read more from “There’s a Video Going Around of Cruz Allegedly Bribing a Delegate. Karl Rove: Trump out of Time for ‘Empty Threat’ of Third-Party Race [+video]

Donald Trump may have left the door open for a third-party run if he’s denied the GOP presidential nomination, but Republican political strategist Karl Rove Thursday called that an “empty threat,” as there is not enough time left for him to mount an independent bid.

“By the time the Republican National Convention begins on July 18 in Cleveland, 12 states will have closed their deadlines to run as an independent candidate in the fall,” Rove said on Fox News’ “Happening Now” program, outlining the numerous states, including Texas, North Carolina, Michigan and more that will have closed out their deadlines.

“A quarter for the states, more than a quarter of the states, have already closed the likelihood that he can get on the ballot, and then there are about more than a dozen that close within the next two weeks, including a couple key battleground states that he would want to be competitive in if he had any hope at all of winning the presidency.” (Read more from “Karl Rove: Trump out of Time for ‘Empty Threat’ of Third-Party Race” HERE)

Victory Speech Has ‘The View’ Calling Trump More Presidential [+video]

8567822300_e2320094d4_bAs on so many other occasions in Donald Trump’s campaign for the presidency, his words were dissected after his victory speech.

On a show where the scalpel of analysis is often cut cruelly, came a very different word used to describe the GOP’s front-runner.

After hearing Trump’s speech after his huge win in the New York primary, host Sunny Hostin of The View said Trump seemed “much more presidential this time” . . .

However, Hostin is not alone in her evaluation.

“If you are a Republican who doesn’t want Trump to be the nominee, the Donald Trump who just spoke should scare you,” tweeted Chris Cillizza of The Washington Post Tuesday night.

“After he won New York’s GOP primary by a massive and larger-than-expected margin, Trump was uncharacteristically subdued, setting aside the braggadocio (his word) we’re used to seeing from the real estate billionaire. YouTube Transgender Bathroom ‘Experiment’ Results in Screams of Outrage

Photo Credit, Serene Lau, Innovation Storyteller, Garfield Innovation CenterWhen YouTube sensation Joey Salads conducts what he calls a “social experiment,” you can bet there will be outrage amid the hilarity.

Such was the case in his most recent video, in which the dark-complexioned Salads donned a blonde wig and a dress, proclaimed himself as a transsexual and walked into a women’s bathroom.

Salads was prompted to stage the video after North Carolina caused a liberal outcry after passing legislation requiring men and women to use bathrooms that correspond with their biological birth genders.

It did not take long to find out that Salads was not welcome.

“You can’t be in here!” the first woman he followed into the bathroom yelled at him. “You can’t just say you’re a girl!”

Watch: Trump Discusses 9/11 During Speech in New York — but Makes This One Big Mistake

Just hours before the polls open in New York, Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump mistakenly mixed up 9/11 with the convenience store 7-Eleven, the chain known for its Slurpees and Big Gulps.

“I wrote this out, and it’s very close to my heart,” he told supporters at a Buffalo, New York, rally. “Because I was down there and I watched our police and our firemen down at 7/11, down at the World Trade Center right after it came down, and I saw the greatest people I’ve ever seen in action.”

Trump did not catch the mistake during the speech and had not yet acknowledged the flub at the time of publication.

The real estate mogul was using the opportunity to discuss the “New York values that we all know so well,” praising the construction workers, bystanders and first responders for their bravery during the 9/11 attacks. Excuse me,” she said coughing, after speaking for about 20 minutes on the air.

“Allergy season,” she said, as she continued coughing, reaching for her drink.

“You all right? Any mouth to mouth CPR?” one of the hosts joked, trying to lighten the mood.

See How Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski Responds When Asked If He Will ‘Apologize’ to Ex-Breitbart Reporter

hqdefaultWhen “Fox News Sunday” host Chris Wallace asked Corey Lewandoski on Sunday if he would like to offer an apology to former Breitbart reporter Michelle Fields — even if only to avoid potential litigation — Lewandowski once again refused to validate Fields’ claims of assault.

Lewandowski, Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump’s campaign manager, discussed the recently-dropped battery charges that Fields brought against him following their encounter at a March press conference that was caught on camera. Although Lewandowski could be seen grabbing Fields’ arm in the footage, Trump’s campaign manager maintains that the reality of the situation did not match Fields’ violent allegations against him.

“What I acknowledge is, the sum total of my relationship with Ms. Fields was caught on that video tape,” Lewandowski told Wallace. “She’s an individual I had never met before, had never spoken to before, and candidly, I didn’t remember the incident. The whole incident lasted less than three seconds, and it was me moving from one location to another location. I would have remembered if I tried to violently throw someone to the ground, or if there was an incident which would have been memorable. And there wasn’t.”

Lewandowski also maintained that he had tried to call Fields after he read about the allegations against him from Fields’ boyfriend on Twitter, although Fields says that she has no records of a call or of any message being left for her. Watch: Alabama College Student Cited for Wearing Empty Gun Holster on Campus

Drawing_from_holsterA University of South Alabama student was charged with violating the school’s code of conduct after campus police caught him on campus wearing an empty gun holster, in an incident recorded on video.

D.J. Parten, a junior from Mobile, said he was stopped Wednesday, detained for more than 30 minutes and then issued a citation that required him to meet with the Dean of Students, Al.com reported Thursday. Officials said they ultimately dismissed the citation after taking a closer look at the case.

South Alabama spokesman Bob Lowry told the news outlet it all started when campus police responded to a report of a person in the Student Center who may have been carrying an “unconcealed” weapon.

During the interview on LevinTV, which aired on Tuesday night, Rubio more-or-less endorsed Sen. Ted Cruz. “I’ve been pretty clear that I want the Republican nominee to be a conservative, and in my view at this moment, of the candidates that are still actively campaigning, the only one that fits that criteria is Ted Cruz. I’ve said that publicly” . . .

The Florida senator said regarding the 171 delegates that he won during the primaries, “they’re bound on the first ballot, and I want to make sure that they’re there on the first ballot,” adding, “After that, as you know, these delegates, many of them, will be free to vote for another candidate, and I hope that they’ll nominate a conservative.”

“I think the Republican Party has to be the home of the conservative movement. If not, it loses its reason to exist, as an organization,” he said.

Rubio’s and Cruz’s conservative credentials are not in question. Rubio scores a 94 percent conservative rating on the Heritage Action Scorecard (the political arm of the Heritage Foundation) for his votes as senator, and a 96 percent with the American Conservative Union’s (the sponsor of CPAC). Cruz scores 100 percent with both. The average rating for Republican senators with Heritage Action is 60 percent. Yet Republicans, like RNC delegate Rina Bharara, say that they will vote for Hillary in November if Donald Trump is the Republican presidential nominee . . .

Anti-Trump “conservatives” constantly complain about how Trump is a liberal and not conservative enough, yet and in the same breath they state they will vote for Hillary.

Which one of their conservative principles does Hillary Clinton fall under?

This delegate says she’d pick Hillary because Trump is dangerous. Tell that to the families of the Benghazi victims, the women abused by the Clintons, and the families of Americans dead at the hands of illegals.
