WATCH: Brandon Gill Corners Law School Gatekeeper with DEI Question She Won’t Answer

Rep. Brandon Gill, R-Texas, put American Bar Association President Michelle A. Behnke in the hot seat Wednesday, repeatedly pressing her on whether the ABA’s diversity principles would justify rejecting a third Black Supreme Court justice.

The tense exchange came during a House Oversight Committee Task Force on Defending Constitutional Rights and Exposing Constitutional Abuses hearing examining the ABA’s role in law school accreditation. Republicans argued the organization has used its accreditation authority to advance race-conscious DEI policies throughout the legal profession, while the ABA defended its commitment to diversity, saying it strengthens the profession without supporting racial quotas.

Gill, who chairs the task force, has accused the ABA of using its accreditation power to pressure law schools into adopting race-conscious admissions policies and mandatory DEI-related coursework.

“DEI is a cancerous ideology that promotes unlawful discrimination and steals opportunities from Americans who would otherwise earn jobs and law school admissions spots on merit,” Gill said ahead of the hearing.

During one of the hearing’s sharpest exchanges, Gill questioned Behnke about statements on the ABA’s website promoting judicial diversity. He cited the ABA’s position that judges should reflect the diversity of American society, then asked whether a racially representative Supreme Court would be beneficial. The director of the country’s premier American history museum said she has no regrets about any of the museum’s exhibits during her tenure after an expert confronted her with a “shocking” display that he said smeared Founding Father Benjamin Franklin.

Smithsonian National Museum of American History Director Anthea Hartig faced intense questioning from lawmakers during two Capitol Hill hearings this week. The hearings followed a White House Domestic Policy Council report accusing the museum of using taxpayer dollars and its status as a world-renowned institution to advance a “radical activist ideology.”

During a House hearing Tuesday, Heritage Foundation expert Mike Gonzalez testified that a multiyear special exhibit, “The Electric Dr. Franklin,” included a display that “pondered whether he had ever done experiments, electrical electroshock on indentured servants or slaves.”

Gonzalez testified that the display included this suggestion “without producing any evidence whatsoever,” which he called “shocking.”

Andrew Tate Arrest Video Shows Moment He Tried to Give Phone to Bodyguard as He’s Cuffed by US Marshals

A video has emerged of the moment controversial influencer and accused rapist Andrew Tate appears to try to pass his cellphone to a member of his entourage during his arrest in Florida.

The 39-year-old and his younger brother, Tristan, 38, were being cuffed by the US Marshals when Andrew Tate appears to try to hand his phone to his bodyguard, who drops it.

It is not clear whether US Marshals recovered Tate’s cellphone following the arrest in Miami on Saturday.

Andrew Tate was wearing a tight-fitting, unbuttoned mesh purple shirt, high-waisted, cropped black trousers and loafers without socks during his bust. The fit drew online comparisons to Hollywood actress Doris Day.

The “manosphere” influencers were arrested on behalf of the authorities in the UK, who want to extradite the siblings to stand trial on rape and human trafficking charges.

Britain’s Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) also charged Andrew with seven new counts of rape, as well as charges relating to sex trafficking and indecent images of a child. JD Vance Accuses Israel of Secret Plot Against Him and Drops Mossad-Epstein Bombshell

JD Vance has claimed he is the target of an Israeli-funded propaganda campaign over his Iran peace push, and that Jeffrey Epstein had ties to the ‘highest levels’ of Mossad.

The vice president made the explosive allegations during a nearly three-hour sit-down with podcaster Joe Rogan.

Vance pointed to a Time magazine report he said proved American influencers were being paid to attack the Iran deal. The report notes that money has flowed through a former Trump campaign operative and is bankrolled by elements of the Israeli government.

‘My response to that is, well, go to hell,’ Vance said of those taking the cash to smear him. The vice president, who complained he has been branded an anti-Semite, declared that Israel is losing the public opinion battle in America.

He also said that ‘figures’ inside the Israeli government are manipulating American public opinion to keep the war going ‘indefinitely.’

Widow of Man Killed in Butler Trump Assassination Attempt Claims it Was an ‘Inside Job’

The widow of a former fire chief who was killed during the 2024 failed assassination attempt on then-Republican candidate for president Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, believes there is a massive conspiracy theory behind the incident.

Helen Comperatore, the widow of former fire chief Corey Comperatore, was recently interviewed by NewsNation, where she shared her thoughts on the incident that accidentally took the life of her husband.

“I believe it was an inside job, inside the government somewhere,” she said. When interviewer Rich McHugh asked her if she believed it was a “political” plot, she replied, “Oh yeah, absolutely.”

She was then asked whether she had seen any evidence that pointed to a larger conspiracy theory that led to the death of her husband, though she did not provide a concrete answer.

YouTuber Launches Weeks-Long Quest To Kill Bug Some Suspect Is Genetically Engineered Bioweapon

After YouTuber Rusty Cage found a lone star tick on his body, he went viral for documenting his repeated attempts to kill the bug over 16 days.

Online groups and even some academics have speculated that Bill Gates genetically altered the lone star tick to carry a red meat allergy called alpha-gal syndrome as a bioweapon. At least 15,000 people are diagnosed with the disease every year, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Cage’s attempt to kill the tick showed that it is not only potentially harmful but also extremely resilient.

Cage began by submerging the tick in water to see how long it would survive. After day five, it was still moving. By the end of the first week, it appeared motionless. However, when Cage tried prodding it with tweezers, it revived again. Cage kept the bug in water for nearly two weeks. When he removed it, he believed it had finally died. But after blowing on it, the tick revived again.

On day 15, Cage placed it in the freezer for 24 hours to see whether freezing would kill the bug. After removing it, it didn’t appear to be moving, but Cage suspects it may revive.

According to ScienceDirect, a lone star tick in the adult stage can survive about three weeks underwater, while in the nymphal stage it can survive up to 19 weeks. All stages of the lone star tick, from nymph to adult, have been known to bite humans. Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press,” President Donald Trump said Sen. Lindsey Graham’s (R-SC) death was a “big blow” to the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) America Act.

Host Kristen Welker said, “President Trump, thank you for joining us and my condolences to you.”

Trump said, “Well, thank you. He’s a tough one to lose. He was great. He was unique in every way, actually.”

He continued, “He called and said, ‘We’re all set for the Save America Act. He was pushing the Save America Act like crazy. Got back, said he just landed from Ukraine.”

Passenger’s Head and Shoulders Hang from Broken Window After He’s Nearly Sucked out of Plane

A plane passenger was almost sucked out of a window that shattered moments after take-off on Friday — with others grabbing hold of him as his “head and shoulders” were left hanging outside.

The traveler — only identified as a 61-year-old Serbian man — was pinned in his seat by fellow passengers as chaos unfolded on the Ryanair flight that left Greece for Germany at 5:55 a.m., CNN Greece reported.

The Boeing 737-800 plane was at an altitude of around 20,000 feet — when travelers heard a noise “like a tire bursting,” one passenger told Radio Thessaloniki, according to Agence France Presse.

They only later found out that a piece of the plane’s engine had broken off and struck the window, causing it to shatter.

WATCH: Reportedly ‘Unconscious’ Mitch McConnell Taken by Ambulance to Hospital Where He Remains Under Care

A video has emerged reportedly showing former Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) lying on a stretcher in an ambulance after being wheeled from his home last month following a report of an “unconscious person.”

This comes from a report by CNN Friday, which obtained the video and an eyewitness account.

The witness, one of McConnell’s neighbors, told the cable news outlet that they emerged from their home around 8:30 a.m. on June 14 to find with two emergency service vehicles and a fire truck and the street blocked off by Capitol Police.

The video, taken by the neighbor, was shot from some distance and the face of the patient is not visible. Once in the ambulance the bare feet of the patient is seen with the rest of the lower body covered by an orange blanket.

The neighbor inquired with responders as to what was happening and officers responded that there had been a “medical emergency,” according to CNN.

Charlie Kirk’s Family Faces Accused Assassin for First Time in Court

The family of slain conservative icon Charlie Kirk came face to face with Tyler Robinson — the accused assassin of the Turning Point USA founder — for the first time on Monday.

Kirk’s parents, Robert and Kathryn, and his widow, Erika, sat in a Utah courtroom on Monday, during the first day of what is expected to be a weeklong preliminary hearing before the case against the 23-year-old assassin suspect goes to trial.

Kirk’s close friends, including Donald Trump Jr., Jack Posobiec, and Brandon Tatum, were also present in the courtroom on Monday.

Ahead of their court appearance, Kirk’s family released a statement, saying, “Charlie was a beloved husband, son, brother, friend, and father.”

“Every court proceeding serves as a painful reminder of his death and the loss that has irrevocably impacted our lives and the lives of his children,” they continued.
