Excluding Russia From G8 ‘Like Suspending a Vegan From a Steakhouse’ (+video)

Photo Credit: Fox News A “Special Report” panel today discussed how G7 leaders met in The Hague and announced that they would be excluding Russia from the G8 and boycotting a planned summit in Sochi.

Jason Riley, of the Wall Street Journal, said Russian President Vladimir Putin is rebuilding the Russian empire while President Barack Obama and our allies in Europe are sitting around discussing international law and “kicking Putin out of clubs he doesn’t care about in the first place.”

Riley said Putin knows that the administration doesn’t have the stomach for confrontation and will continue to take advantage of that.

“Suspending him from the G8 is like suspending a vegan from a steakhouse,” Ron Fournier, of the National Journal, said.

Cupid Drone Armed with Taser Gaining Interest from Law Enforcement (+video)

Photo Credit: Fox A new drone, armed with a taser, is gaining a lot of interest from military and law enforcement agencies.

It is called the ‘Cupid Drone’ and was developed at Chaotic Moon Studios. The newly developed Chaotic Unmanned Personal Intercept Drone can shoot 80-thousand volts of electricity into a subject.

“If you imagine a S.W.A.T. raid and people running – why send officers, with gun blazing, down an alley way where they can shoot and harm an innocent person or whatever, when you could just have the drone follow them,” said Chaotic Moon co-founder, William “Whurley” Hurley.

Hurley says they’ve had lots of interest from military and law enforcement agencies about C.U.P.I.D.

“This is something that’s affordable for almost everybody and in the next two or three years the technology will probably cut the price in half,” he continued.

Bachmann Explains Why God Blessed America (+video)

Photo Credit: WNDThe congresswoman sees America as a miracle.

It was a miracle the ragtag, underfed and underfunded Revolutionary Army could beat Great Britain, the strongest military power on Earth.

And it was a miracle that a fragile democracy, the only one of its kind in the world, would go on to become the greatest military and economic force the world has ever known.

Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., said, however, there is a simple explanation.

Americans didn’t make a king our sovereign. We didn’t make government our sovereign. We made God our sovereign.

Photo Credit: Brennan LinsleyGun Store Owner Defies ATF Order to Surrender His Private Client List

The owner of an Oceanside store that sells various gun parts to build a rifle from scratch refused to turn over his customer list when he was raided by federal agents Wednesday.

Dimitrios Karras, owner of Ares Armor, said the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives agents were investigating their business, not for what they sell, but for the people who purchase their products.

Karras said the ATF threatened to shutter their business if they didn’t hand over the names of 5,000 customers who have purchased an 80 percent lower receiver (the base) for building an AR-15.

It is legal to build a rifle from scratch without serial numbers only if the base is manufactured to ATF specifications. The base is not considered a firearm if it’s sold separately.

A manufacturer made an 80 percent receiver in plastic with a different material and colors which show exactly where the customer can drill making it easier and cheaper to build. The ATF said it is illegal.

WATCH: NY Gun Owners Burn Assault Weapon Registration Forms Mandated by ‘SAFE’ Act

Photo Credit: benwatts / Creative Commons In the state of New York, hundreds gathered near Sarasota Springs in a fiery act of civil disobedience aimed at gun control lawmakers.

According to the Post Star, “nearly a thousand gun registration forms were turned into ashes Sunday.” Under NY’s SAFE Act, those who possess what the State of New York considers to be military-style “assault weapons” have to register by April 15th.

“Once the Second (Amendment) falls, the rest will go with it. It’s an unconstitutional law, done in the middle of the night with no input from the public,” E.J. Stokes told the Post Star.

Federal ‘Motor Voter’ Forms In KS, AZ Must Include Proof of Citizenship (+video)

Photo Credit: APA federal judge ordered the U.S. Election Assistance Commission (EAC) to immediately add state-specific instructions requiring documented proof of citizenship to mail-in federal “Motor Voter” registration forms used in Kansas and Arizona.

Both states have laws requiring applicants to prove they are U.S. citizens before they are registered to vote. The federal form only requires them to swear under penalty of perjury that they are U.S. citizens.

“Because the Constitution gives the states exclusive authority to set voter qualifications under the Qualification Clause, and because no clear congressional enactment attempts to preempt this authority, the Court finds that the states’ determination that a mere oath is not sufficient is all the states are required to establish,” U.S. District Court Judge Eric Melgren said in his March 19th ruling in Wichita. (See EAC – 2014-03-19 US Dist Ct Decision Kobach v EAC.pdf)

“This is victory not only for Kansas and Arizona, but for all 50 states,” Kansas Secretary of State Kobach told CNSNews.com. “Any one of those 50 states may now choose to follow our example and require proofs of citizenship when people register to vote. There are two other states that are doing it already, Alabama and Georgia, for a total of four states.

“And I would encourage more states to do so because anytime an alien votes, it effectively cancels out the vote of a U.S. citizen.

WATCH: Kevin Bacon Reprises ‘Footloose’ in Grand Entrance to Fallon’s ‘Tonight Show’

NBC’s “The Tonight Show” Thirty years after playing Ren McCormack in the iconic eighties film “Footloose,” Kevin Bacon put on his dancing shoes once again for a dramatic entrance to NBC’s Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, complete with that burgundy tux jacket and sparkles in the air.

As in the 1984 film, the powers that be (this time apparently the executives at NBC) issue an edict stating that dancing is no longer allowed on the Tonight Show. Fallon announces the new rule to his incredulous and upset audience as Bacon watches on television from his dressing room. His reaction, “Jump back, this is the Tonight Show, there has to be dancing.” He pulls a cassette tape out of his jeans back pocket, pops it into a handy nearby wall-mounted player, and the rest, as they say, is movie re-creation history.

Bacon proves once again the words of Solomon (quoted by Ren in “Footloose”) are true. Despite what any human ordinance may decree, in the divine scheme of things, “There is a time to dance.”
